This Band is Real is a weekly program showcasing bands that you have never heard of. This podcast features actual bands that have not yet made their way into the limelight, alongside other bands you might secretly wish never do.
Show Concept
- Each episode brings in an improviser or stand-up comic to create the identity of a fake band .
- Then, the featured performer will play a song no one has ever heard.
- An actual band that may not be well known will be interviewed in addition to performing one of their songs live.
It's up to you at home to figure out which band is real!
IT'S FINALLY HERE - Season 2's final episode featuring some of the most experimental acts in the industry today: Embryo Desperados and Ass Erosion. These closing acts of the season talk to us about playing shows at theme parks and meeting the strangest fans in the basement of a frat house! But the question remains: which of these bands is real?
