Welcome to Ears to the Earth. In our first episode we introduce ourselves and the kind of farmers we are. JD, Lucian, and Jeremy are each educators in a small but growing field of urban farmers in Orange County. We’ve come together to make this podcast because we all share a love for ecology, community and how the two can harmonize through farming.
Our first discussion topic is around the questions we most often get asked: Where do we start to begin gardening? We set the stage for many future discussions on planning your garden, considering the most important factors, and simple ways to get started today.
Next episode we’ll be talking about edible plants you can grow indoors, tomatoes, and what the heck is mycelium?
