Two Indian women with a history of watching trashy tv have chaotic conversations about a Turkish dizi. For now. (We will make this up as we go along.)
So who would come out on top in a boxing match between Eda and Serkan? That's the crux of this conversation. But we do take a few detours and squee about all the love saturating the air as our new lovers navigate a secret relationship which makes their blood boil and addicts the senses. Oh and there's a broken wedding and deathtrap too but when have we ever lost sight of the truly important things in the plot...
Well, the knock on the door of our frustration finally came this week and how! Our resident robot stepped out of his comfort-zone of denial and took a leap of faith into the turbulent waters of love, making us cheer for him all the way. We are pretty much floating in fangirl heaven and not at all ashamed of it...loads of gushing and sighing and one of us whooped at some point because this is how we roll. Also more discussion on Serkan’s sex life (this will be a recurring topic) and a couple of unpopular opinions, all of which combine to make this our longest episode yet. No one is more shocked about it than ourselves.
A freewheeling chat this week about some questions that have been bothering us. Was it really love at first sight? Just how dumb/manipulative/selfish is Serkan's game? And, very important to the plot, what was Serkan's sex life like before Eda? We address all this and more, as chaotically as always.
Our protagonists struggle to clamber out of Angstville and frustration abounds as we revisit some long-familiar tropes and discuss whether this dizi gets them right.
