As a church we reflect on the amazing things God has done this year, we look forward to some of the things God has told us about this coming year. Pastor all the guides us as we look to God and ask Him to speak to us about the coming months.
Every year there is a mad rush for those last minute presents, Pastors Alan & Claire along with Abbey provide some helpful tips and tricks as well as talking to us about Jesus' greatest gift.
Pastor Claire concludes her series on the Lord's Prayer and looks at temptation, offence and forgiveness.
Pastor Claire continues her look at the Lord's prayer, focusing on "Give us this day our daily bread".
Pastor Peter shows the difference between the part gospel and the full gospel. When we have the full gospel we realise there will be issues ahead but God is ready to assist us and already has a plan for us to succeed, we are Stormbrekers!
God is the highest Judge and Jesus is our advocate in the Supreme Court, whatever petitions we bring before God He will listen to our case. As He wants what is best for us Jesus will intervene on our behalf and plead our case.
Jesus is our advocate in the Supreme Court, not only will He fight on our behalf but He will also take our sins, addictions and bad habits and stop them from being a warrior between us and God.
God is the highest Judge there is and he is looking to to justly rule in our behalf, but often we don't ask. We need to be prepared to bring our case before the Supreme Court of Heaven.
Pastor Allan reflects on the anniversary of the Reformation and what it means for us today, as he also reflects on his recent Mission trips.
Pastor Barney continues to look at the different types of Grace.
This week:
Sharing Grace - Keeps us from lack & selfishness
Serving Grace - Keeps us from being unproductive
Pastor Claire talks about being a night and how we can serve Christ by displaying similar characteristics.
Pastor Barney looks at the different types of Grace.
This week:
Saving Grace - Keeps us from being lost
Sanctifying Grace - Keeps us from being contaminated
Strengthening Grace - Keeps us from being contaminated
Pastor Alan pulls out some of the themes from Encounter 2017 and shows us some of the ways we can respond the secrets Pastor Colin Urquhart shared over Encounter Conference.
Are you going to live an ordinary life or are you going to go out of your comfort zone and follow Jesus' plan that He wants to work out in our lives?
You can order the messages for Encounter 2017 online at encounter.whbcmanchester.com
Pastor Alan continues to look at our relationship with God the Father and encourages us to be still and encounter God.
God is a good father and he wants good things for us. He is waiting for us to come to him with arms open wide. Even when we are far off he is looking for us and is expectant for our return to Him.
God wants us to move closer to Him and reach a place of encounter!
That might mean there is work to be done, sometimes part of the old needs to be removed before new goodies can be added.

Our lives have meaning and our actions have consequences. What we do now, will set us up for eternity.

We all have a story, not just about our salvation, we must be ready to tell that story at any time.
Even people we might initially write off, Such as "doubting" Thomas, can go on to reach the nations for Christ.
We are called to be the light of the world, we are called to go in to all the world, that is not just going to other places on mission, that means being missionary in our workplace and in our every day lives.
Pastor Claire starts our look at the lords prayer found in Matthew 6:9-13.
This week we focus on God being 'our Father'.
As we start or 2017 Mission Week Pastor Alan explains how God challenged him to do more local mission work with the church. Helping us understand why local mission is important and what we nee dot do to get ourselves ready for the week. Ronnie Eliot then continues and talks about how even reaching out and saving one person can make all the difference in the world.
Now we know to surrender ourselves to God completely, we can reach out to the world with God's Love.
Pastor Allan reflects on recent events in Manchester and reminds us of the Hope For The Future.
If we love Jesus and we love one another we should be showing that love by going out from the Church and sharing with others, we need to be a disciple and not just a believer and we need to disciple others.
If we love Jesus and we love one another we should be showing that love by going out from the Church and sharing with others, we need to be a disciple and not just a believer and we need to disciple others.
We need to be careful how we act around others, how we treat people is a reflection not only of ourselves but also on Christ within us.
Pastors Alan and Claire interview a number of people connected with WHBC that we have sent out over the years. they tell us about the support WHBC has given them.
Who was Jesus?
Was He a fake: a con-artist, a skilled showman?
Was He a flake: lasting only for three years in the public eye before everything fell apart around Him?
Was he for real: more has been written about him than any other person, nonreligious historians agree He was alive, his followers continued on for years after His death to tell anyone who would listen about Him, even if it meant they were hurt or killed?
Listen and decide for yourself who Jesus was.
We look at God's character and actions form before creation, right through to when Jesus returned to sit at the right hand of the Father.
Kewal looks at what it is like to be walking with Christ and gives us an opportunity to rededicate ourselves to God.
Pastor Claire continues our series on being called to serve and how we can serve one another.
How do you serve?
Were you pres-ganged, did you volunteer or did you sign up? and does that change how you respond in your service?
We are called to serve and serve to the best of our abilities, if we truly love the Lord, we will want to do our best for Him.

Fasting
‘When you fast, do not look sombre as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
Matthew 6:16 (NIV)
‘Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:to loose the chains of injusticeand untie the cords of the yoke,to set the oppressed freeand break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungryand to provide the poor wanderer with shelter –when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear;then your righteousness will go before you,and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;you will cry for help, and he will say: here am I.‘If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungryand satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide you always;he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched landand will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruinsand will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
Isaiah 58:6-12 (NIV)

Pastor Alan takes a look at resolutions and what they can mean for us as we start the new Year.
Pastor Alan looks at the power of the Name, what it symbolises, and how we can effectively use that power today.
Pastor marcus show s us go God is not only a Giver but a generous Father, ready to supply all that we need.
You can't set roots down properly if you keep moving about, if you don't set down roots, you can't be properly feed and grow.
We are supposed to do life TOGETHER.
we are supposed to be in unity and harmony, because that is where God brings the power.

Often times it is all to easy to sit on the sidelines and waif for God to turn up. That's not what God wan's from us, waiting patiently does not mean waiting passively.
God is our righteousness and this is not based on our performance, no matter our situation, no matter the size of our prayer (big or small), God considers us qualified and there is still a reason for our prayers to be answered.
God has given us he peace, nothing missing not him broken, but complete wholeness, Jesus is our peace, the one who brings back to completeness and working order relationships that might have gotten hurt or broken.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating & drinking, but of righteousness, peace & joy in the Holy Spirit

Peter was told by God to do something no Jew had ever done before, and he naturally thought it was strange. But he realised that if God had told him to do it, he had to do it and that God would protect him from negative reactions.
We are called to be different from the world, and an example of God to those around us. in the same way Peter was protected by God, we will be too when we stand our for Him.
Even when Shadrak, Meshack & Abednego were threatened with death they held firm. If it has just been Shadrak he might have bowed down, if it has just been Meshack he might have bowed down, if it has just been Abednego he might have bowed down. but together they had the strength to stand.
We are called to stand up for God but we are not called to stand alone. We stand both with each and every other Christian, and also with Jesus.

Everyone around David was scared and ready to run away, but David had already seen what God's power looked like, he believed the when he stepped out to fight that God would be there with him, fighting for him. David know that all he had to do was turn up.
Our God is still the same, all we ave to do is turn up and have faith in God that he will fight our battles, when Jesus died on the cross, he won the ultimate victory on our behalf.
"If we believe with our heart and speak with our mouth, we will have what we say" - so what are we speaking over ourselves? - Are we speaking negatively over ourselves ore are we declaring positively over our lives?
It wasn't enough that Gideon had faith. He needed to listen to God, believe what he heard, and obey God's commands. Only then was he able to see the miracle goad had planned for him. in the same way, we need to Listen, Believe and Obey. Even when that means doing things in a way the isn't logical or makes sense to us.
We can all have a Face To Face encounter with Jesus, but if we keep it to ourselves we are doing a disservice to those around us. We need to provide opportunities for the people we know so they can have a Face to Face encounter too.
Pastor Marcus tells us about FRANK - the people we all know:
F - Friends: people you play with
R - Relatives: people you’re stuck with
A - Associations: people you work with
N - Neighbours: people you’re close to
K - Kids Connections: people you know because of your kids
He then gives us three simple steps that we can follow to make inviting people to Church easy.

Pastor Alan shows us that our attitude can control the way we see things, and that sometimes we need to adjust how we treat the situation before we can receive the blessing.
God has something good planned for you today, He want's you to relax, he has it in control. You don't need to worry, just come Face To Face with Jesus, coming with a sense of expectancy. God's heart is to give you more than you are expecting.
Pastor Alan looks at two different people who came Face To Face with Jesus and looks at what happened to them,
God wants to to meet with him in person, to have Proximity to Him. However it is all to easy to send someone else to meet with God, to be our Proxy. We need to be a people that are prepared to meet with God face to face.
being a body iOS not just about everybody having a place and a purpose. A Body is a connected organism where every part can draw from the other parts and receive support.
Each person within the Church has a part to play. We are all God's tools and we should be ready to be used by Him.
To often we allow ourselves to be dragged down my our situation. Barney looks at why that should not be the case for us as Christians and gives us some examples of how people have turned situations around and ended up determining the situation they are in, transforming it for the better.

Last week we looked at how every human is made in the image of God, this week we focus on what believers look like when they display the image of God.
In order to see our true identity in God, we must first Know who God is, Believe in Him, Obey Him, and accept our God Image Identity.
Guest minister Carolyn Clark takes us through what Jesus said about the coming Of the Holy Spirit.

The bible has some unusual approaches to leadership, some that we might have missed when building up our ideas for what constitutes the perfect leader. But if ew take Jesus as our role-model we can't go wrong.
What Jesus accomplished on the cross still resonates for us today. As Christians we received protections and promises as a result of what happened that day.
When Jesus Died on the Cross it was a culmination of a series of prophesies that had been given over the years.
Pastor Alan talks about The greatest sacrifice made in the history of mankind and how it is still important to us today.
When Jesus entered Jerusalem to Celebrate the Passover, He didn't hide or sneak in, He proudly entered in - Declaring who He was. Everything He did upon His entrance was done to fulfil the prophesies about His coming.

The believer’s inheritance is all of Christ. Rewards are available too that are based on how we live on earth
We can make deposits on earth in to a heavenly bank account that’s 100% capitalised! - It is always available for us to draw upon.
We are called to Tithe to the local Church, and there is a series of befits associated with that giving.

The Bind man wasn't looking to be healed, but still Jesus knew his needs. but The healing came at a price, it was necessary for the blind man had to go and do something in order to receive his healing, and even then he was questioned about his healing by people who knew him.
Pastor Claire talks us through one of the few miracles that Jesus performed in private. Showing us how Jesus is the Master over Creation with Power & Authority over nature and death, and that He is the Holy One of God.
Pastor Claire looks at the significance of the only one of Jesus' miracles that is mentioned in all four gospels. Taking us through the cultural significance of the miracle and shows how Jesus is our provider even know.
For the third part of 7 Wonders of Jesus, Pastor Alan looks at the hearing that occurred at the Pool of Bethesda. The man was healed through his obedience, and we can learn for him how we can be obedient to God too.
In the second part of 7 Wonders of Jesus, Pastor Alan looks at Jesus healing the Official's son and shows how, when we know we have the miracle we don't need to worry.
In the first part of 7 Wonders of Jesus, Pastor Alan looks at Jesus turning water in to wine.

Throughout 2015 God has done amazing things in WHBC, Pastors Alan and Claire remind us of some of the things God has done.
Using the example of different presents, Barney and Becci talk about Jesus, the greatest present of all.
Join Grandba Wooly as he tells Shaun the Sheep about a very special night he witnessed when he was a boy.
Being called is just the start of our walk with God. We are constantly being qualified. Throughout the Bible we are shown how God qualifies and equips us for our walk with Him.
Dedicating a child is just the beginning of their life as a christian. Pastor Alan takes us through some of the scriptures showing us the promises God has for us.
The supernatural must become the natural way we live our lives everyday. We are the new temple (Ephesians 2:19-22) and as we take the presence of God with us, what we bring will be spirit and Life. We need to step in to the river flowing out from the throne and soak ourselves completely in God.
Baptism is a public declaration that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour. It is a proclamation of our faith, but it is also a statement of intent, that we will live our lives with Jesus Christ as our lord, we are setting the course of our lives.
To all who follow God's rule or standard for our lives, that we only boast in the cross, then peace and mercy is ours, because our focus is right. We have been crucified with Christ and so we are entitled to sit beside Christ as a co-heirs, receiving the same honours and privileges.
Words create life and cause death, everything around us was created when God spoke. but how careful are you with your words? do you use your words to build up or tear down?
Using Mark 2:1-12, where a group take a friend to Jesus, Partric Olofsson shares some insides about the group who carried him, their vision and how we can use similar principles in our lives today to see Gods vision fulfilled.
Things that the carriers did:
They used their time
They made some serious effort
They had a simple but profound cause and vision
They where united around the cause and vision
The cause was to lead the man to Jesus
They did something outside of the box to get the job done
They took criticism for what they did
They destroyed the roof to see the vision fulfilled
They were anonymous and invisible, but used powerfully by God
It is necessary for us to make a voluntary response to God and all He has already done for us, by showing a sign of deference to God we unlock His ability to move further in our lives. Live for Christ as if it's your last day on Earth, tell as many people about Jesus Christ as you can. But Read the Word as if it is your first day seeing it and living for ever.
The more we focus on God, the closer we draw to Him. The closer we draw to Him, the more we allow His glory to fill and influence us, transforming our mindsets and characteristics. This transformation leads to a greater filling, experience and demonstration of His glory. This is God's desire for our lives.
Often God will meet us where we are at, but at times He will require us to be obedient and to go and see what He wants to show us, before we will understand what He is saying. God is moving and working in this Church and in Churches round the world, forming and moulding us into the tools He can use to do His work in this world.
The enemy will try to disarm you before you even start the battle, by removing your support.
But we need to realise that God is our support and He isn't going to leave us in protected.
If we don’t open our Bibles we will become blunt and unusable, we need to keep ourselves sharp.
Our God is a just God, He will give us all that is rightfully ours if we petition him and pray. Jesus tells us that we should "continually pray and never give up", sometimes it is necessary for us to repeat our petitions to God until we get what is rightfully ours.
Richard Anniss looks at some of the enemies of Faith and what we can do to avoid them.
Part of Encounter 2015
Getting ready for our Encounter conference next week, we look at being a people of prayer
Jesus has called us to be a house (or family) of prayer, when we come together and fulfil the will of God, amazing things will happen.
Gods intention has always been to destroy the enemies of His people in a obvious and real way so that there can be no doubt in our mind that He has done it. We need to be followers, walking close to God in order to be effective in our prayers.
Pastor Alan continues our look into the various types of temple mentioned in the Bible.
Looking at how we must prepare ourselves base we are temples for the Holy Spirit and it is important we understand our function.
When we fully embrace our function we receive a number of benefits and gifts to allow us to better fulfil our purpose, one of those gifts is speaking in tongues.
Jesus describes us as temples of the Holy Spirit, in Ephesians 4 we are shown that we are living temples that have been prepared for God's work so people may come to us and receive my riches.
There are some very clear examples in the Bible of how God want's to prepare His temple and we need to follow them, so that we can be filled with Him.
When we sleep it should deb a peaceful and relaxing time, but what if it's not? - Perhaps you worry so much it stops you from getting to sleep, or when you do sleep it sins good quality sleep.
God wants whats best for us and that includes a good night of sleep every night.
When raising children it's important to set boundaries and limits, whilst also getting a good balance between fun play times and necessary homework and chores.
Do you still feed your children or do they feed themselves now?
When did you teach them to feed themselves?
How about reading the Bible and hearing from God, do the feed themselves spiritually yet?
And how about you, do you what to be fed on a Sunday or do you feed yourself daily by reading the Bible?
The Bathroom is where we get clean: 1) Getting clean should be fun and enjoyable. It should be something we look forward to. god wants us to like being pure. 2) Dirt is dirt. It doesn't matter if it is a little thing or a big thing, we still need to wash it off the same. We shouldn't compromise because we think it's only a small issue. 3) We need to be quick to say sorry and quick to forgive so we can live in a right relationship with one another.
Sometimes we need to just stop what we are doing and spend time together as a family. Pastor Claire looks at various ways parents and children can spend quality time together and make each other feel valued. We must all lift their head out from distractions like phones, tablets and books and truly engage with each other. Parents need to take time to go outside with their children and spend quality time with them. Arrange a quality "date" with your child on a regular basis with your children individually.
The people you hang out with will rub off on you, but you can choose to remove all the bad things you have picked up when you arrive home, just like you remove dirty shoes and don’t spread mud throughout your house.
When you spend time with wise people you become wise, but when we spend time with the un-saved (as we must), we need to be careful that we don’t allow ourselves to become covered in them.
Pastor Alan looks at some of the testimonies of people from various backgrounds including Muslim, Jewish and Christian, of how God revealed Himself to them in their different lifestyles. What their expectations were and how their lives changed as a result.

How do you know that something is true? Can anything be said to be 100% correct and proven?
Pastor Alan shares his story of why he started asking questions and the journey they took him on. He also talks about what can happen when you give God the opportunity to show himself.
If God has told you to do something, He has set up divine encounters for you where your life will change as well as theirs. All you need to do is be obedient and walk in faith. God doesn't leave you stranded and speechless. He gives you the words to say by putting them in your mouth.
We have been commanded to Love. We Love with God's love and God's love overflows in us, takes over us, moves us. It means you act in Love before you've even thought about it.
Lets go with the attitude of letting others taste of your fruit, go with a mindset of Peace, a mindset of Love, a mindset of Joy. So that the way we act and talk will be a testimony to others. Just go and Do, and He will.
A portrait is an artistic thing that displays the mood, altitude & personality of a person.
What does your portrait say about you?
God has given you a new portrait that shines with the Glory of God and is full of Love. You have been made in His image! Your portrait is sinless! The part of you that wanted to sin is dead, it can not be in control! It's now only temptation and even then, He has promised that you will never be given more than you can cope with.
You have a divine nature, you are sinless! Your path is laid with your words, your tongue is your rudder, all you have to do is walk in what He has already done to walk in the divine nature.
As you discover and learn who Christ is the more you learn who you are, as you learn his purpose you learn your purpose. Only through Jesus and the Word of God will you discover who you are and why you exist.
Joy comes with finding who you are and what your purpose is, it gives you energy, it gives you durability, it is fruitful and satisfying. Joy doesn't have ups and downs, it is constant and sustaining and it enables you to "Finish the race." The grace has been given to you to finish because you share in His grace. He will finish what He has started in you.
Sometimes our zeal isn't based on knowledge and zeal without knowledge is no good, but knowledge without zeal isn't much good either!
We need to know the righteousness that comes from God, so that we can submit to it and can be zealous correctly rather than establish our own righteousness. We can't do this in our own strength, but He is the Lord our right thinking, the Lord who defines what is right thinking and allows us to be zealous in the knowledge of the righteousness that comes from God.
He is the Lord who defines the right decision so I can do the right thing and the Lord my righteousness in my decision making.
“Metamorphosis”
A change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one
A marked and more or less abrupt developmental change
Jesus didn't just die for our sins, He made a way for us to be completely transformed into a new creation. Joy shows us how profound and complete that change is.

Being generous is like planting seeds in our lives, when we plant generosity in out lives and the lives of those around us we can grow and nurture further generosity.
Can we be generous with things other than money? What about our time?
Do we know all the jobs that et completed during the week and how much preparation goes into a Sunday Service?
Can you help out during the week or perhaps by joining a Sunday Team?
After God's generosity towards us, we are able to see, through Christ, God's glory. Having received this we need to live on Earth in a way that shows that to those around us.
We have been made right with God. unless you let them, no one can take that away from you. We need to fight and protect our righteousness. To do this we have been given the Armour Of God, but having the Armour is no good if we don't know how to use it and who to use it against.
Who is our enemy?
Who are our Allies?
Who is the Commander?
Where is the enemy?
Pastor Claire explains how we can effectively use the armour God has given us to protect and defend ourselves.
We have had an amazing week. Last Sunday we launched the CAP Debt centre, this week Food Bank goest to a second day, and on Saturday Barny & Beccy got Married. In 1976 S. M. Lockridge went off his notes as he preached a sermon that has now become known as "That's My King". Pastor CLaire invites us to listen to his words as he describes his King, but really listen and think about who He is to us.

Pastor Alan shows how the Holy Spirit has been poured out on us and some of the blessings that come from God because of that. The Holy Spirit takes the things that belong to Jesus and makes them known to us.We are encouraged to keep the flame of the Holy Spirit alive in our lives, so that we can become signs and wonders.
Pastor Claire asks if we really know the God we serve and what He does for us, all the benefits we have?
Looking at Moses and the burning bush, pastor claire shows how God is constantly calling us and trying to get our attention, because He want's us to come close to Him, He has something He want's to say to us today!
Pastor Claire looks at all the times God says “I Am” and what it means for us.
When we know who God is we can know what he can do.
Often we want all the Comforts of being a Christian, but we miss the point, we are called to live like Christ, with Christ. Christ did not have a comfortable life and faced the challenges in his life.
When God gives direction in our lives, it is not our place to question Him. If we do , we limit His ability to move and work arround us. Our Guest Minister, Shushil Kumar, takes us through some examples of people who just obeyed God and miracles that happened because of their actions.
Having honour without integrity is worthless - Integrity is having moral soundness, being completed without anything missing.
A man of integrity can not stand by when people fail or when failure is happening, they will stand when others Run. THey run with life, not allowing death to hold them down.
We should have the Lord as our highest priority and He will order our other priorities, meaning we are able to honor things that need to be honoured and put aside the things that will distract us.
On our own all we do is useless but when we work with God and follow his guidance everything we do is usefull. God enables us to do amazing things and when we glorify Him, He makes us look amazing, He builds up our reputation. We need to do what is right in God's eyes even if we think it is at the expense of our reputation, if we trust God, He will honour us, and lift us up, both in His eyes and in the eyes of those around us.
To follow Jesus is to walk on the narrow way which leads to eternal life. He is the Gate through which all believers must enter and the Good Shepherd who from the midst of the throne is leading us in the power of an eternal, indestructible life along the Highway of Holiness. Once we are on the narrow way, what do we need to do to continue on that narrow way and have a walk of obedience and faith which comes out of love for Him?
Our honor to God, or lack of it can determine if we receive his blessings and healings. If we don't show Him. What are some of the ways that we can show lack of respect and how can we avoid them? what are the rewards when we show the proper honour and respect?
Pastors Alan and Claire go through our priorities for the year as show how they link into our updated vision. then we go through our updated values and see how they fit in with the updated Mission Statement and Vision. we finish of by going through some of the church's goals for 2015.

Priorities – our key tasks/events
Values – how we express what is important
In 2015 we have a resetting of these statements, priorities and values. This week we look at our updated Mission Statement.

We are called to serve both in the Church and outside of the world. Everyone that Jesus called He instructed to reach the unsaved. John Madan takes us through some examples of how we can do this in our everyday lives.
As a Church we will be praying for our local communities over three weeks from Monday 12th January - Sunday 1st February.
A diet may change the way you look, but a fast will change the way you live.
Lisa Bevere
Along with praying we are encouraging people to fast for part of the three weeks, prayer changes us, allows us to focus, causes us to hear God better and is a form of consecration. At christmas time we give and receive gifts and think about the gift that God gave in the form of His son Jesus. What gift can we give back to Jesus?
Breaking News: Join our reporter on the ground in Bethlehem as she interviews people, finding out more about this unusual baby.
When the bible tells us to share the gospel with others, it is not a suggestion, a debt is created that we are under obligation to fulfill.
Debt (noun): That which is owed or due; anything (as money, goods, or service) which one person is under obligation to pay or render to another
Oxford English Dictionary
By not sharing the gospel we are withholding from others a gift that we have been instructed to share.
Family is a joining of different people, sometimes you will look at a couple and see they are completely different to one another or that they are very similar, but over time every couple should adapt their individual personalities to complement one another.
By working together in unity a family becomes a safe place with defined boundaries and limits.
We have been given an inheritance through our relationship with christ, but we need to know WHO our father is, WHAT He's made available and HOW to take hold of it.

God designed the husband and wife grouping to generate life. It is more than just two people living together. When a marriage happens God blesses it and there is an added support for it to work and continue.
God works through the couple so that they create more than what they could produce either alone or together.
Having authority within our Families is no go if we don't use it properly or if we abuse it.

God has provided us with blessings that enable us to look after and nurture our families in positive ways. These blessings are independent of blessings that God gives for raising our families well. What are we putting in place now so that future generations are positioned to lead Godly lives?
This Remembrance Sunday, we look at Some of the people in the bible that have raised Memorial Stones, what they mean to us today and the promise we have because of them.
We have not been called to be Christians on our own, we have been called to work together and help each other. One way we can do that is by linking together in WHBC's Life Groups, location based groups throughout the City.
We have authority that has been given to us by being Christians, we need to constantly look at what we do and ensure we are fully utilizing that authority. Sometimes when life doesn't go as we are expecting it to, we need to look at what we are doing and go back to the basics.
Are you ready for those moments when God comes? Is your heart prepared for whatever may come? Pastor Claire looks at what it means to have a prepared heart and why it makes such a difference in our daily lives.
God has called us to not just love Him but to have an intimate relationship with Him. But what does that look like? Pastor Claire looks at a number of people in the Bible and pulls out the elements that allowed them to be truly intimate with God.
We are called to love God from the core of our hearts. When we do our thoughts actions and speech will reflect that love.
We need to learn what it means to worship God's way rather than our way. When we worship we will sing new songs in our hearts. New songs are the creative product true Spirit initiated worship.
We need to learn what it means to worship God's way rather than our way. When we worship we will sing new songs in our hearts. New songs are the creative product true Spirit initiated worship.
Worship keeps our hearts pure, full of light and prevents lusts & deception. It keeps our hearts soft and prevents pride. Our Worship silences the enemy and releases faith for miracles.
What is worship? - Is it something you do once a week at church or is it part of your daily life? Do you use your times of worship to fully encounter God or do you just do it to say it's been done? there are lots of ways to build worship in to our everyday activities and include God in everything we do.
Our lives are like pieces of paper, when given the correct structure through Jesus they can fly and go far.
Jonah had to take a journey, but instead of following God's plan he decided to do his own thing. There are many things we can learn from his experiences.
God want's to have a relationship with you. When you have a relationship with Him you will start to give of His fragrance.
When we plan our holidays and days out do we include god in our plans? - Do we ask Him to help us make the right decisions? God wnnt's the best for us and can help us when planning even the most obvious things.
Different holidays have different goals and purposes, but no mater what holiday you have planned you can still spend time with God. We need to plan time in for God whilst on holiday and be purposeful with our time with Him.
Throughout the bible we are given examples of the importance of rest, but how often in our busy lives do we actually take time to just sit and recharge?
What so we see about our selves and the world around us. What do we confess?
Deuteronomy 30:19 "... Choose life so that you and your children will live."
Our Words have power. We possess what we confess, we lay hold of and claim what we confess.
As part of WHBCdaily we have been reading 1 Chronicles, today we read 1 Chronicles 24. Pastor Alan looks at how we should be implementing this in our lives and serving as a way of life rather than an afterthought.
When a runner competes in a hurdles race, they have to overcome multiple obstacles, whilst getting ready for the next one. The Churches written to in the book of Revelation show us examples of hurdles that we are to overcome, they are also given clear rewards for changing their ways and acting according to God's plan. We can receive these same rewards by overcoming these obstacles in our lives.
The lifestyle of a champion requires sacrifice. We need to train even when we don't feel like it, we need to be ready to stop what we are at a moments notice.
Videos used in this message
We are all followers. Every great champion has been guided by someone who they follow and respect. What can we do as followers to have a greater impact and show the World who we follow?
The mindset of a champion is selfless, victorious, pioneering and resolute. These are all characteristics that we can use in our lives to become the champions that God intended us to be. Christ can renew our minds and help us and implement these character traits but we need to ask Him, to give Him permission to move in our lives.
We are not built to be one against the world, we are part of a team. Being part of this team and putting on Christ as our uniform and armour, we are able to do more than we ever thought possible by ourselves. There is a selection process that helps put the right person in the right place, God recognises our weaknesses and places us alongside people who can balance us out, in the same way, He uses our strength to help others around us.
God has a plan, an appointed time, a destiny for people everywhere. The vision we lay before others, showing them what they can become in Christ is what will allow them to change. The Starting point and direction for the next generation is always determined by the current generation this requires the current generation to be living ready for handover.
When Jesus died on the cross, He overcame the World. He told us at the Last Supper that He was sending the Holy Spirit to help us to obey His commandments. Through that obedience we overcome the sinful nature of the world.
Have you ever wondered why God hasn't answered your prayers yet? - Pastor Colin talks through some of the things that we do and don't do that stop us from having the productive prayer life that God intended.
When planting seed the ground will determine the level of harvest. In the same way our hearts will determine the amount of growth we see in our lives. Are you getting ready for the miracle that God wants to do in you?

We are responsible for the seeds we have been given and how well they grow. We will only see Miracles in our lives if we expect them and pray for them to happen.

When Christ died He gave us the opportunity to die with him too, giving us a new life free from the sin associated with our previous live. It is our choice to live in that new life and enjoy it's benefits. Pastor Claire explains how God has given us a new life and how we should respond.
God very clearly shows us that when we are covered by the blood, the past is in the past. We have no right to bring it back up, except in special circumstances that are also clearly Defined by God. Pastor Kevin takes us through scripture to show us what God wants us to remember from our past.
We are a people marked by God and set apart. Throughout history God has demanded blood sacrifices to cover sins. Pastor Kevin Looks back to the Garden of Eden right through to Jesus on the cross and shows how blood sacrifice is vital to our salvation.
Pastor John Grunewald takes us through scriptures and shows us that as we live a christians we should show on the outside the transformation that has happened on the inside.

Our love Should be extreme! - Jesus didn't just call us to love those who are good to us, but this can be hard, so Pastor Alan takes us through some scriptures to help us love others when we might not naturally want to.
This week we look at loving the ones we love.
Often when we think of virtue we can associate that with purity and over innocence, but virtue is about our thoughts and feelings and how they influence our relationship with God, our friends and family.
We are called to love our neighbors, but who exactly is our neighbor and how can we help them.
Pastor Becci looks at a number of different ministries opportunities that are operated in and around WHBC. Pastor Claire talks about simple ways you can love those around you in everyday life.
Love is something you do not something you feel. We are called in to action, we are called to love others.
In your workplace are you an example of Love or fear? - If God is your provider He will sustain and keep you.
How do you see yourself? Are you a doctor/teacher/housewife/etc. who happens to be a Christian or are you a Christian who happens to be a doctor/teacher/housewife/etc.
Is your life a signpost or a distraction?
Do you point to yourself or do you point to Jesus?
Are you permanent sign or a temporary display?
Are you dedicated to the cause:
Are you an apprentice or are you a casual worker?
Do you honour the master or do you give him lip service?
Are you a life long learner or are you remaining a novice?
It's not enough to be a believer (even the Devil believes), you need to be determined and purposeful with your faith.
Are you a disciple or are you a believer?
Are you wholehearted or are you partial?
Are you available or are you busy?
In 2014 we will be continuing our vision to Step Up, Step in, Step Out.
What else does God have planned for us in 2014?
God has given us the tools we need to live a life of peace, without worry or stress. Pastor Alan takes us through a number of scriptures and explains how to activate them in your life today.
Church should be a place of provisioning. Salford Quays represents a place where you can plan for the journey ahead and prepare and start some of the tasks so that when you are underway you don't have to do all the work.
Church should be a place where we can be equipped for the task ahead. There are many ways you can be equipped within the church but the easiest way is to serve within a team.
By serving in the church you are made stronger and by working together you grow together. Are you willing to share you journey with others within the church?
Church should be a safe place where you can come and rest for a time and be repaired from the damage of life's storms before going back out. God wants to make us better than new.
Church should be a harbour you can come to and get refreshed ready to go back out into the world to reach the lost.
When we change from being darknes to being light we are fundamentally changed. That doesn't mean we are now perfect, but it is the beginning of a process where we are transformed to the perfect representation of Christ here on Earth.
As part of our November Baptism Service, Pastor Alan looks at what it means to be a Christian.
Pastor Claire shares three things we should be quick to teach our children and learn ourselves.
We don't BEHAVE our way into the family of GOD, we BELIEVE our way into the family of God. Now that you have BELIEVED, there is a way to BEHAVE.
Next Week We launch WHBC Bradford!
But why Bradford and why now. Why even plant a church at all?
Pastor Alan talks about the call on World Harvest Bible Church and expands the next stage of our story.
How we respond in different situations can cause drastically different outcomes. If we factor God into the situation it is much easier to see a positive outcome.
Showing love to one another means not putting yourselves above each other, and by loving one another's this way will be how the world sees the practical outworking of our faith.
God's love is unconditional and more than we deserve.
What is God's love and how is it expressed? - Do we love back in the same way?
How do we love others: is it love they deserve or love that is unconditional?
Bex Morton talks about her time on the mission field. Dianne Kruczek talks about the work of Christians Against Poverty. Pastor Claire and Mark Walker talk about Food Bank.
We are "born to reign", we have been crowned. Now is the time to start living in your authority. What parts of your life do you need to take authority over?
Our words are powerful and we can take authority over the situations we find ourselves in. Jesus gives us a very clear:
Speak to the mountain
Tell it to go
Believe it is going to go
The bible clearly states that we are to make disciples of those around us. Mark Looks at what that can mean and what tools we have available to help us.
A Superhero is someone win Super-human or extra ordinary powers.
Do we hide what we have from those around us when we could step in and save others?
What defines your identity? - Is it your Job, who your parents are, where you come form or something else?
Pastor Claire, Abbey and Bex look at what should define your identity.
Our Names have meanings.
What does your name mean? - Does it describe who you are?
Were you given family names or were you named for a purpose?
Does your name define who you are or does it give you authority?
Pastor Alan looks at our position within God's family and all the privileges that we gain because of that.
Love makes us do all sorts of things. Pastor Alan looks at some of the things that our love for Christ and others can and should make us do.
Living a life of faith does not mean that we will never experience hard times. It is how we react in theses situations tat allows us to practically live out our faith.

Romans 8:29-30 says:
God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him.
After God made that decision of what his children should be like, he followed it up by calling people by name. After he called them by name, he set them on a solid basis with himself. And then, after getting them established, he stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what he had begun.
The Message
God knew we where going to be saved. Fight from the beginning He had a plan for our lives.
Continuing form last week message, Pastor Alan explores our relationship with a God who is constantly working in the background for our good.

The Message
God is at work for our good in our lives and that should give us a confidence in everything we do in our daily lives.
Pastor Alan looks at the difference between mercy and grace, explaining how often we don't realise the difference between the two and we can receive both in our lives.
What if something new happened for you and it stayed new?
What if something good happened for you and it stayed good?

Inspiring faith and pointing to the need for every Christian to live his or her life in daily dependence on the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Colin has also written an article on this subject, you can read it on his website
Bengt Wedemalm talks about the Centurion's faith and how we can learn from his example and apply it in our lives today.
God has given us a name and a title that in turn gives us privileges and authority. Because it is God’s name it has power and integrity.

Our GoKids lead the service with fun, games and a message about Stepping Up For God and being Fearless.
Pastor Mathew looks at our relationship with God our father and creating a place of intimacy.
Jesus lead those that believe in him out from death in to life, but we need to take active steps in order to walk in that complete life.
Everyone’s life follows seasons, there is always something new coming. Pastor Mathew continues from last weeks message and explains how to be ready to STEP into the call, that OPPORTUNITIES from God should be taken and to NEVER look back
Everyone's life follows seasons, there is always something new coming. To be ready for this we need to SET the course of your life, EXPECT changes to occur and APPRECIATE the relationships around us.
Our Vision for 2012 is to Step Up, Step In and Step Out. This week we look at a number of opportunities that WHBC offers for you to step out.
How involved in Church are you? and how does that influence how much you get back from church?
Are you a Partner or a Customer?
Over recent years WHBC has been called to be get ready and be ready. This Years vision clearly creates opportunities for the church to expand and reach out more to the people around us.
Pastors Alan and Claire Morton, bring our first message of 2013! Encouraging us to be generous in all that we do, and giving numerous examples on how you can be generous to those around us.

The Morton Family share the different things that they expect when giving and receiving presents.
Monika Wagner, Director of RBTC Europe, talks about the culture of the Kingdom and how we need to put down our culture and pick up the culture of the kingdom. Now we are for Christ, we are his ambassadors, and carry the culture wherever we go.
God want's us to have a meaningful relationship with Him, but that can not happen if we don't spend time together with Him.
Pastor Claire and some of the leaders share what they do in their quiet times to meet with God.
God want's us to have a meaningful relationship with Him, but that can not happen if we don't spend time together with Him.
God did not call us to occupy and get comfortable, we need to occupy the land to establish a base that will allow us to advance further for Him.
Taking Communion is a special experience that God put in place to help us recognise the full extent of what Jesus did for us on the cross. Too often we can forget it's full meaning and the impact it has on our lives.
When baptised, we make a public declaration to the people around us. Pastor Alan looks at some people in the bible and the declarations they made.
What cause do you support? What you support is where you place your finances. The Bible is very clear, where your treasure is, there your heart will also be - Your heart follows your finance.
God's word brings transformation, salvation and God's favour. We are the ones that bring God's word by declaring it out in our city.
When we get God's plan for our live and start running with it, we can still miss the full blessing because we attempt to do things our way. God is gracious, there is always a way back to his plan.
When we get God's plan for our live and start running with it, we can still miss the full blessing because we attempt to do things our way. God is gracious, there is always a way back to his plan.
Pastor Claire reminds us of the My mission cards we filled out at the beginning of the year and asks: If we have started and completed our missions, can we start another?
S.M. Lockridge (March 7, 1913 – April 4, 2000) told us about his King and asked if we knew him?
Pastor Alan talks about the King he knows and gives an opportunity for you to know him today.
A GOD mission provides a focus
A GOD mission provides personal growth
Grow in character
Grow in the knowledge of Him
Grow in Faith
A God mission provides a reward
We are chosen, chosen for a purpose. God is perfect and does not mistakes. His plan for our lives is not a mistake.
Some times it takes a little jolt, like a small shock of static electricity, to make us realise what God has placed within us.
How easy is it to lift things if you haven't had the right food to make you strong? - Pastor Claire looks at what happens when we haven't spent time to prepare ourselves. Suggesting ways to expand our capacity, if we think we might be close to breaking.
Just like Superman, we can do some awesome things. We have a source of strength and have a weakness.
Pastor Mathew looks at our source of strength and some of the things that might be a source of weakness. Offering ways to ensure we always do awesome things.
Now we know we need to be refilled before we can give out to others, what is the best way to ensure we are always filled and ready to give out. By cultivating a Spirit Filled Life where where we are in constant communion with the Holy Spirit, we can constantly receive from Him.
If we constantly Give out and never allow ourselves to receive, we will eventually run dry. Just like a teapot that has its lid on can not be filled with water, there are things we do that stop us receiving from God.
