Depression. Even the work itself brings you down into the darkness. It depends on the state of your mind when you hear bad news, how far down and depressed you become. Despair, is even worse. It can bring you down to your knees and even deeper darkness that can keep you there felling like there is no way out.

This, of course is a lie from satan himself. He hates you. He doesn't want you to know that it is a lie and that Jesus loves you more than you could ever imagine.

He doesn't want you to know or remember the cross and why Jesus died for you to save you from him and your sins.

Psalm 71:2-3 AMC I don’t know what challenges you have had to face or are facing, just want you to know you don’t have to face them alone. When feeling overwhelmed and lost, seeing no way out, remember Jesus loves you with an immeasurable love. He has provided a way out as the above scripture says “cause me to escape.” While we are going through the most horrific experience of our lives, He will hide us in the cleft of the rock, while holding us up and give peace and joy. The hymn “He Hideth My Soul” explains it so beautifully. He allows us to enjoy life even if the circumstances are currently “shadowing a dry thirsty land.” I find it interesting that the word shadow is used. A shadow isn’t real. It looks like it will overcome us but if Jesus is our Rock and Fortress, what have we to fear. He has us securely hidden and He is covering us with His Hand. One of His precious promises is to provide rivers in the dessert. (Isaiah 43:19). As the hymn says “He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, where rivers of pleasure I see.” When I was diagnosed with breast cancer ten years ago fear crept in. I had to make a choice, give in to the fear or stand on my Rock, Jesus. I chose to trust my Lord with my life. I can truthfully say the scripture and the Hymn I am giving you is one of God’s wonderful promises. When we run to Him, He hides us in His love.

in our Podcast, let us tell you the upside. While going for treatments we looked for people who needed hope and encouragement; doctors, nurses, patients we gave each of them a copy of Laureen's Climbing Out Of Your Despair With God's Promises. We usually carry some with us as an outreach tool.

Since December we have had our share of Alligators! most of it on the heals of the other.

Cataract surgery that did not turn out the way it should. and what followed was unreal.
Three of the family cars broke down at the same time. leaving us all with no transportation and costly to repair. Two cars where beyond repair had to be junked.
Came home from radiation treatments to a septic system problem.

These are just a few issues we have faced since this year started. At this writing we also have had two dear life-long friends who passed away within a few days of each other.

Dear Friends,

In these trying times, we need to have Faith not Fear. The series of programs we are producing at this time to bring light to the darkness with Hope and Encouragement. Will be 60 second messages you can listen to get a boost in your spirit while traveling this bumpy road.

Laureen and I are in the at risk category of society, seniors, with a few medical situations. I have Asthma. Laureen is a breast cancer surveyor in her 7th year(went through 36 radiation treatment). We were in Orlando at Podfest2020 Convention when things started to unfold with the Coronavirus. It was a blessing to see so many compassionate people from all over the world. Social Distancing was practiced throughout. We met many of our Podcast Peers. So many good things out of the Dark Cloud that tried to dampen the Event, but could not. My point we were caught off guard but, no one was caught up in Fear we worked together and made sure we followed the CDC guidelines. We are posting this for your encouragement in this storm.
