Summer blockbuster season gave us some of the greatest movies ever made, but which years were actually the best?
In Part 1 of our ultimate summer movie ranking, the World Class Bullshitters go year by year from 1975 through 2000, placing each summer blockbuster season into our official tier list. From Jaws and Star Wars to Jurassic Park, Independence Day, The Matrix, and beyond, we debate which summers delivered unforgettable classics and which ones couldn't live up to the hype.
This is only the beginning. Once every year has been ranked, we'll determine the greatest summer blockbuster season of all time.
Part 1 covers 1975–2000. Part 2 will tackle 2001–2026.

This week on World Class Bullshitters, we break down Disclosure Day, the film that promised answers, revelations, and maybe even a glimpse of something extraordinary. Instead, audiences got a masterclass in overhype, vague claims, recycled stories, and a whole lot of nothing.
This week on World Class Bullshitters, we're diving into two stories that couldn't be more different.
First, the Bricks & Minifigs controversy keeps growing. What started as a local dispute has turned into one of the most talked-about stories in the collector community. New details continue to emerge, reactions keep pouring in, and we're breaking down the latest developments.
Then we turn our attention to the box office battle between Masters of the Universe and Scary Movie. One is a big-budget attempt to revive a classic franchise. The other is a comedy series that many people thought was long past its prime. The results have surprised a lot of people, and they raise some interesting questions about what audiences actually want from entertainment in 2026.
