Drip: A DC Coffee Podcast explores Washington DC’s diverse coffee scene through conversations with cafe owners, baristas, roasters, and regulars. A common thread through every episode is a quest to unlock new perspectives on DC’s coffee and culture. Quite simply, this podcast is meant to brew community by being deliberately curious about coffee and culture.
Café Unido is the result of Benito Bermudez and Mario Castrellon's journey to bring the best Panamanian coffee into Mario's restaurant Maito, No. 29 on San Pellegrino’s list of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants. Benito, Mario, and Feres Yebaile discuss the history behind the cafe and what they expect to find in Washington DC. Café Unido is a member of the La Cosecha Market. The cafe is part of the partner's vision to bring Panamanian culture and food to the world.
