Despite being the most influential figure in human history, Jesus did not follow conventional patterns of leadership. Darren shares how Jesus Call for His followers to serve one another with humility is one of the most powerful and enduring ideas from His life and teaching.
Though Jesus interacted with everyone, more than anyone else, Jesus ministered among the poor and marginalised and He taught His followers to do likewise. Sam shares how our willingness to obey Jesus has profoundly shaped the world. Luke 8:40-48
For His time, Jesus was radically inclusive of both men and women. On Father's Day, Darren explores the radical changes in the treatment and inclusion of women in society because of the teaching of Jesus and challenges us to continue to do better.
Jesus is not often associated with having anything to say about democracy. Jason shares how Jesus did teach about freedom, and many of His teachings had political implications that have been developed by Christians over the last 2000 years.
Jesus taught extensively about forgiveness. His command to "love your enemy" is one of His best known teachings. Chris shares why we too should consider forgiveness a priority - in the big and in the small things.
Jesus taught that individuals have inherent value - we are loved by God. The teaching of Jesus and Paul shifted people from being viewed as members of families, castes, cities or communities to being individuals of worth.
