The guys are back on the South Side this week to watch the White Sox take on a less-than-vintage Yankees team (sorry, Amed Rosario and Max Schuemann). Suspiciously small Polish sausages, shoulder checks, and band shirts are topics of discussion, all set to the jangly guitar stylings of a long-haired cover band on Grateful Dead night at Rate Field. A little trade deadline talk kicks off the episode!
Jeremy is back solo with another Fall League episode! In this mini, Jeremy talks about graphing the 2016 Cubs World Series reunion weekend, the goofballs he ran into, some major auto scores, and a run-in with yet another celebrity and Chicago legend! Some fun stuff in this one - check it out!
In this week’s episode, Jack and Jeremy head to Wrigley for that rarest of events - a Friday night Cubs game! The Gray Grapher and his jester provide some pre-game entertainment, a nearby fan tells one of the worst stories in RDT history, and Latroy Hawkins shows Jack and Jeremy at the bus that he can do their job, but they can’t do his.
It’s a full house on the Southside for Mexican Heritage Night but that doesn’t stop Jeremy and Jack…and the Gray Grapher from coming out for autos! Jeremy spends some quality time with the Gray Grapher while waiting in line and some of the deeper topics of life are discussed. Eventually Jack arrives and the autos commence. But the highlight would happen during the actual game as the guys witness their first cycle for the pod (though, Jeremy’s second in just under one month’s time). Tune in for all the fireworks…and no fireworks all at the same time!
It’s a slugfest at Wrigley Field and the guys are on hand to witness it all…and by “it all” that also includes a meaningful first in a baby’s life! At the bus, the guys run into Chicken Finger, who has a new follower on Instagram and some complaints of his own. We meet Nick the Security Guard’s cousin, the son of a MLB legend, and a “yellow shirt” who resembles Rikishi. Some surprising autos are obtained in this episode, so tune in for all the details!
It's Polish Heritage Night at The Rate and the stadium is packed (not really)! Jeremy gets in early and bros down with Jason Kipnis and enjoys some $5 polishes. The guys get bounced around and end up behind some personal space invaders. It's a short one, so catch it before it's over!
The Rockies were good…but they always sign. Such is the Gray Grapher’s mantra when it comes to seeking autos from the Colorado crew. And Jack and Jeremy cash in with lots of graphs! Among the successes are a famous sabermetrician, a promising shortstop, and a former no hitter thrower…if Jack can overcome Gideon’s Last Revenge. Jack and Jeremy…and the Gray Grapher…and Josh are at Wrigley Field this week for Cubs vs. Giants. In a total suprise, the Giants show up to sign and the guys are the beneficiaries! The Gray Grapher speaks his mind on Chicago politics and the Bears, the guys deal with a slew of unruly graphing kids, and a grandmother and grandaughter get up to get food and Jack and Jeremy are left holding the bag…literally! The guys are back at Wrigley Field to recap another Cubs game, and for the first time since episode 1, the opponent is the Astros! Lots of idiot fans, a harrowing food experience, and a few autograph snubs prove that the more things change, the more they stay the same.
Here comes a donnybrook of an episode...and we're not talking Brewers vs. Cubs or Jack vs. Jeremy! The episode starts with the establishment of two new pod characters: Dynamite and The Big Chill! We continue with a rare Gray Grapher-less experience at Wrigley Field - just Jack, Jeremy, Josh, and some other graphing kids. Missing the presence of The GG, Jeremy finds himself filling the shoes of the surly signature seeker. But the real fireworks start around the 37:55 mark as we meet Brewers Cape and we breakdown a crazy, out of control altercation between him and Adult Stupidity! This is one for ages and it spans the last two-thirds of the podcast! So sit back, strap it down, and get ready for a wild story!

The Southside was calling Jack and Jeremy as they head down for their first White Sox game of the 2026 season and it did not disappoint! The Gray Grapher leads to charge for autographs during BP. It was a mass of humanity but many graphs were acquired…even with the help of a Rate Field security guard. Jeremy shames a player to sign for the kids and Jack finally wins Bobby Wilson’s War! Spring is in the air which means the Chicago Sports Spectacular returns to Rosemont, IL and so do Jack and Jeremy! The guys take in the semi-annual card show and snag some autographs. Hear about a couple fun exchanges with Kevin Mitchell and Denny McLain as well as some run-ins with card shop owners, social media personalities, and friends! This is all if Jack and Jeremy can get through the front door, which wasn't easy!
This week the guys are running down the WBC rosters, searching for some long-forgotten major leaguers - this was almost as fun as the non-roster invitee lists! Some great former players hanging around to rep their countries or on the coaching staffs!

The RDT boys head down to G-Rate Field for one last White Sox game of the season...luckily they sit by an old bonehead and his ma - he thinks Justin Fields blows! The guys also graph the entire Cubs/Pirates series and have a run in with another guy who blows, but it's NOT Justin Fields. An idiot has a message for Derek Shelton, Ji-hwan Bae disses Jack and Jeremy, there's goofballs at the Cubs lot, and Big Shawty returns! A lot going on here - tune in!
Jack and Jeremy collectively cover the entire Cubs/DBacks series without actually attending a game together. Lots of autographs were attained, but the Gray Grapher casts his crusty, sourpuss pallor over most of the weekend. Mike Fetters captures the guys' focus as he plays hard to get, Bob Brenly eludes, a Cubs bus driver disses Tony Perezchica, and restaurant tips are offered to players (and rejected!). The stakes have never been higher (on the field, at least) as Jack and Jeremy recap the Brewers vs Cubs game from Monday, August 28 at Wrigley Field. It was WWE night at the park, and in addition to getting another Stone Cold Stunner from Craig Counsell at the bus, the guys dole out their usual sage parenting advice, have a run in with a Sigmund Freud lookalike, and encounter the most baffling custom jersey they’ve seen since, well, the last White Sox game they went to. First, the guys discuss a special PSA card grading company event they attended the weekend of the National Sports Collectors Convention - it was a fancy affair that left the guys possibly underdressed but overfed. Next, we hear about Jeremy’s experience with Andre Dawson at the National as well as an additional autograph signing with former 70s pitcher, Buzz Capra. From there, the guys unite to graph at the Reds bus during their trip to Wrigley. Over the series, the guys attended all the games but separately. Several HUGE autographs were obtained and two new smash hit characters are introduced, so listen in to find out who! Jack and Jeremy both talk about their separate experiences with the Braves series and Jeremy talks about driving up to Milwaukee to see the Crew/Rox game. And a key auto was obtained there as well. For the first time in 2023, Jack and Jeremy take in a White Sox game together. This was a weekday afternoon tilt between the Southsiders and the Cleveland Guardians - talk about low profile. Jack and Jeremy head to G-Rate Field to see perhaps the last gasp of the 2022 Southside squad as they take on the first place Cleveland Guardians. The guys are accompanied by Marc Bubblebath tonight and witness, among other things, a disrespectful dude who drops the game ball, a jersey of White Sox great Lou Gehrig (?), and an incessantly loud, clamoring buffone we dubbed "Captain Angeroo". The guys attend back-to-back Cubs/Rockies games complete with full bus hangs and graphing mayhem! The guys encounter a few Wrigley Field knuckleheads, but the talk of the town is autos, autos, autos! The guys experience one of the more successful bus hang/auto hunts to date, including a beloved former Cub-turned-Rockie, can you guess who?!? The guys are snubbed hardcore by a dazed Dave Magadan, Jeremy gets some laughs at Bud Black's expense, and Jack has to eat crow when it comes to Brendan Rodgers. And in what possibly may be an all-time graphing moment, Nico Hoerner is accosted by a crazy German lady and her dog Millie - you have to hear in to believe it. Another team off the list as Jack and Jeremy travel to Wrigley Field for a Friday afternoon Cubs/Giants game. The guys sit in the LF corner on their own island...until a middle-aged guy who's predicting homers and shooting his shot with the ladies appears. After the floodgates open, the guys are subjected to a group of 4 dad-vibe dorks and two people who hate fast fashion and don't know about the Yankees or the rooftops. Outside, it's a wild scene as the guys try the Giants bus, the Cubs lot, and a secret spot. The guys get a Hall of Famer's signature, Jeremy gets a white whale, and then an auto mishap ends the evening. It's a busy episode, tune it!

It's Lollapalooza weekend in Chicago and Jack and Jeremy (foolishly?) head to the southside to see the White Sox take on the Oakland A's. G-Rate Field throws a myriad of oddballs at the guys this week and we hear about bad anthem singers, vaping galore, and Baby Eddie Vedder?!? Jeremy gets flack multiple times for wearing an A's hat and Jack gets his view blocked by a couple of backwards hat-wearing bros. It was a non-stop barrage of ballpark bums that were only to be outdone by a raucous group of Lolla losers on the train ride home. Hear all about it on this week's ep!
This week, Jack and Jeremy kick off the pod by talking about the damning video of a grown ass man shoving a little kid for an autograph at the All-Star game last week. The guys move on to talk about the draft and briefly about the game itself. For the second time this season, the guys catch some red hot Baltimore Orioles action, this time at Wrigley Field. The guys find themselves sitting among a work outing of twenty-somethings who might work for a local sports media company yet behave as if they've never been to or watched an actual sporting event. Other highlights include Jack's gripes with the Catalina Club and Jeremy rants again about the abject futility of Daniel Norris. Out by the bus, the guys encounter a barrage of old, gray-haired men trying to get autographs and one bold and obnoxious father and son combo (a different one from Ick and the Stick). Jack and Jeremy take a look at some bad contracts in baseball and try to see if we can propose some trades that will help out both teams...or at least move around some players who may be destined for jail. The Rain Delay boys head out to a Cubs game for one last time this season and take in their first game for the pod from the famous Wrigley Field bleachers. The playoffs are in the air on the Southside of Chicago and Jack, Jeremy, and a whopping 19,229 additional fans came out to Sox Park to see the White Sox take on the Pirates. After some 100 level access drama, the guys take in the game and encounter a finger-guns dancing angry dad who had some displeasure over a nacho purchase, a whole pizza being dropped from the upper deck, and a switchblade and German Shepherd try to get through security. In a game that was marked on the calendars since Spring Training, Japanese baseball star Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels come to the southside to take on the White Sox! And Ohtani, torn UCL and all, delivered! Hear Jack and Jeremy recap the entire Ohtani Experience, including Jeremy getting on a Red Line train heading in the wrong direction out of pure overexcitement. And the game did not disappoint, unfortunately, the unruly droves of inattentive, beer-sniffing little league parents did! Children running wild, adults behaving worse than the kids they paid so little attention to, and a put upon beer vendor whose knowledge of his own trade was being questioned right to his own face. These were some of the indecencies witnessed by the guys this week in the stands. Hear all about it in the animated, sailor-mouthed first half of the podcast (13:30). Before that, Jeremy has an unpleasant autograph seeking incident with a former MLB pitcher who was not having any of it (1:40). And finally, after addressing to the likes of "White T-Shirt Dad" and "Poodle Man", the guys moved their attention to the talent on the field and give their scouting reports on the numerous players in the game that could be potential 2019 MLB Draftees (36:45). The well never runs dry on the southside of Chicago and this week the guys meet, hands down, their biggest baseball weirdo to date - "The Informed Interloper"! We meet some more ballpark oddballs in the stands, see a breakout performance by Alex Kirilloff, and discuss giving 19-year-old Royce Lewis his first sip of beer.
