My Life In A Mixtape is hosted by Singer-Songwriter Miciah, with guests joining each week to talk adulthood, creative careers and of course- if our lives were mixtapes!

"Growing up- I’d spend Friday and Saturday nights on my bedroom floor, waiting to hear my favorite artists on New Rock 104.1. I’d have a blank tape on stand by- ready to hit record. I’d usually grab a multi-colored pack from Wal-Mart and start with the green tape- always the green tape.

Now, I’m a singer-songwriter working on my first album, and I want to capture this moment by hitting record. I want to invite you in to the process of writing and recording an album as an indie artist, and take you into all of the vibrant experiences and art that have inspired me.

You can expect late night intimate conversations after too much coffee consumption, drives with friends processing making art while trying to figure out adulthood, lots of stories and maybe even a few silly games.

You’ll get a personal look into the music I am creating and into my life as a young Christian woman of color who is anything but traditional.
