Dante wrote about the 7 stages of hell. Parenting brings both Anthony and Benjie tremendous joy, but kids have their ways of trying even the most temper at parents. This is part 1 in a 2-part series on the stages of a Parenting Inferno in which Anthony and Benjie share lots of stories of moments and seasons when the kiddos pushed them to their limits.
What do you for your kids when they lose teeth? Also, we talk through some of the most ridiculously named places we know and a few we don’t (thanks, Southern Living!). Things devolve from there.
Anthony is getting a tattoo? Also, did you know he once worked for a cult? He insists it was a “summer camp.” You be the judge 🤷♂️. From there, we talk about how young adulthood was pretty tough and offer some life lessons as the last generation to graduate during a recession.
In which we reminisce about the time we learned Jenna’s dad put her hair in a bun when she was little as part of her roller skating competitions. Then, we discuss our inadequacies as parents before Jenna joins us to elaborate on her childhood roller skating competitions. As is her habit, things do not end well for her.
Former college roommates reminisce about how they met each other, their wives, and whether or not it’s important to remember kids’ birthdays. Also, they are independently fact-checked by one of their wives.
