Understanding your customer life cycle is the key to how big brands grow. You hear people like Mr. Wonderful or Mark Cuban on Shark Tank talk about the importance of understanding your numbers, but what numbers are they talking about???
In this episode Alex breaks down the 5 main stages each person goes through inside of the buying cycle, and how to market appropriately.
At just 17 years old, Henny Prod is a successful photographer and videographer specializing in rap music videos. He touts himself as a one-man band that does all aspects of his craft himself, with customer satisfaction at the center of it all. Lined up to do sports photography for his school when Covid hit and shut it all down, Henny was taken down a different path. On a family trip to Chicago, he met Famous Dex and his videographer and thought he could be successful in that space. With NFT’s entering the scene, musicians are getting more exclusive with their content. Henny see’s vinyl coming back as a collector's item, with art being a big part of it. Connecting with their audience is a big part of the rap world, and vlogging is on the rise. Being a musician is no longer just about making music, you have to create an experience. What You’ll Learn:

Do you have a goal of building a 7-figure business in 12 months? Alex says that’s plenty of time to make that happen. We’re already a month into 2022 so you should have mapped out your revenue goals for the year. If you haven’t, we’re here to help. Alex is sharing which questions to ask in order to create your revenue goals. Once we have our numbers, it’s time to plug them into a spreadsheet to see if we’re on course to hit our goals.
Everything we do rises and falls on strategy sessions. This is when you discover what it’s going to take to get you to your numbers. Reverse engineering your goals is a great way to see how many sales calls, for example, you need every month. It’s important to come back to your sales and revenue goals everyday and to keep a scorecard on your KPIs. Anytime you feel like you're falling behind, go back to your spreadsheet and go over the economics on how to make your goal a reality.

“Most people tell me they had no idea it was that easy to become a 6 or 7-figure brand.” -Alex Vonderhaar
Alex is coming at you solo today to share his biggest life lesson as a neuro marketer. It happened with his very first neuro marketing client. He was confident he could help his client and ended up generating $2million in 3 days off of $50k in ad spend. Alex had hit it out of the park and was on cloud nine. Until he got a text that there was a problem. It turns out Alex had done too well. He sold more inventory than was available. Customers' money had to be returned and the company's reputation took a big hit.
Not only did Alex not get paid, but he worked for free the next three months to help turn the company's reputation back around. It taught him a valuable lesson, though, a lesson he credits with generating $60million in 2021 for his clients. He learned to ask better questions. Now he requires all new clients to go through a two-day deep dive. He makes sure he has all the data he could possibly need before he starts making any decisions.

“Great businesses are focused on creating an amazing experience for their customers.” - Alex
Alex brings in Hidden Falls Media’s Director of Business Development, Phil Leisure, to share what he knows. In the last episode, we talked about the importance of setting a plan. Last year brought failure for countless businesses, and it’s because they didn’t have a comprehensive marketing plan. Marketing isn’t sales, it’s just a means of getting to the sales process. Phil says with so many different avenues of marketing, it’s foolish to focus on just one.
Phil reminds us to take a look at how clients are finding you, how you are using different marketing avenues, and in what combinations. Is your brand creating a wow experience? Do you even have a brand? People will buy a product once, but they’ll stay engaged with a brand. It can be exhausting always trying to introduce a new product to keep people engaged with you. Build your brand, build the experience, build your sales.

Tune in to learn how to carve out your place as a trusted authority in the minds of your target audience.

“How do we create behavioral patterns? How do we take and hijack systems and behaviors to modify them to what we want? They use it in the context of counseling, but it's the same context for business. Building an online brand is slapped right in the face of many business owners, and in this episode, Zach and Alex breakdown how they have built one of the world's fastest growing e-commerce clothing brands.
Cyber Monday 2020 was projected to bring more online revenue than ever due to the pandemic. Online spend was slated to increase by as much as 35% to $12.7 billion, which would make it the largest digital sales day ever.
Online sales increased at less than half the projected rate, growing 15.1%. Consumers still spent a record $10.8 billion on Cyber Monday 2020, making it shatter previous online shopping records.
This is a slowdown from Cyber Monday 2019‘s online sales growth, which jumped 19.7% year-over-year to hit $9.4 billion.
Online consumer spend grew the most on Small Business Saturday and Sunday, which saw 30.2% and 23.7% growth respectively year-over-year. The pandemic has fueled consumers’ support for small businesses, which have faced significant struggles this year.

Our team took a big risk putting this information out for you, and creating this content.
We need your support to help beat the big tech and media overlords who just want to keep you addicted to mediocrity.
They are making billions of dollars and ripping the United States apart, all for the sake of keeping us dumb, numb, and glued to our phones.
You are what they fear the most. Self-reliant, independent thinkers, and individuals who are willing to put in the work that success requires.
To help our cause of creating impactful, and transparent content to help American business owners, we need you to support the show.
If we taught you something new, gave you an insight into something, or even just made you smile a bit today, please share the show."
In this very first episode of the NeuroHive, get to know your host, Alex Vonderhaar. As a professional neuro-marketer, Alex has found human attention interesting since he was a child. This led to a love of motion graphics and art. He fell in love with tricking the brain to think things were real. Everyone told him not to pursue an art degree, and so Alex went after a science degree. He studied how the brain works and how drugs affect the brain. It was a near-death experience during his senior year of college that would pull Alex from the medical path into things like breath work and cryotherapy. It wasn’t long until he stumbled on flotation therapy and began to get the answers he was seeking.
Alex ended up working a minimum wage job scrubbing the float tanks until the business almost shut down. Alex decided to learn digital marketing and single-handedly saved the business. With all this knowledge of the neuroscience behind marketing, Alex was ready to branch out on his own. He took the leap and started his own neuro-marketing agency. Now he’s ready to share that knowledge with others. Through interviews and personal experiences, Alex hopes there will be something to learn in each episode.
