Will succinctly explains where his hustle started and the need to always have multiple streams of income from an early age. He also candidly talks about some of the adversity he experienced living in New Orleans and having to evacuate due to Hurricane Katrina. In this first installment of The Other Side of Business we speak with Ian Bick who is featured on HBO's Generational Hustle episode 10 "The Party's Over" Ian Bick transformed himself from a nerdy teen into a concert promoter and by the age of 19, he became the owner and operator of Tuxedo Junction, a music venue in Danbury, Connecticut.
As his EDM raves packed houses and fed his emerging VIP lifestyle with first class trips, high end shopping, and brand new jet skis, his fall is as dramatic as his rise. Ian served 36 months in prison for defrauding investors out of $500,000 and he was convicted on wire fraud and money laundering.
We'll look at some of the decisions that play a factor in a business becoming unethical. As we discuss business we feel its important to talk about both sides of business.

Derek Winston is an 11th year overseas basketball player who plays for Switzerland LNB. Last year he averaged 13.3 points a game and 3.4 assist. He started playing basketball in a small town called Ada, Oklahoma. He went on to become the top scorer in his state his senior year. Not getting the offer he wanted, Derek went on to play basketball at a junior college and then transfer to a University. He struggled in college to prove himself and almost gave up on his goal of playing basketball. He ended up getting discovered while playing in a professional Euro Tournament in 2009 where he would get his first break.
He runs a basketball academy called the DJW Academy where he mentors and teaches kids the game of basketball from ages 6 to 20 years old.

Tony Ohonba owns a bespoke suit company called Olympus Stylings in Houston, Texas. Starting from humble beginnings, his shop now employs a number of tailors where they perform alterations and make suits for professional athletes to Grooms on their wedding day. He’s also an active real estate investor and Pharmacist by day.
Having a "Entrepreneurial Spirit" as Tony describes, is a mindset. It’s an approach to thinking that actively seeks out change, rather than waiting to adapt to change—always looking to improve/simplify a process, fulfill a need or provide a service.
After graduating from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, he began investing in real estate and now controls a growing number of properties alongside his brother Osaze. Kyle Haynes is a serial entrepreneur from Oklahoma, in 2016 he started his own clothing brand called Unruly Citizens while throwing music concerts in Oklahoma. Kyle has brought some of the biggest names in the music industry to Oklahoma such as 21 Savage, Future, Lil Wayne, Post Malone, and Young Thug.
In 2019 Unruly Citizens partnered with the Dallas Cowboys to create a music festival called Unruly Fest which was held at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Kyle owns a dispensary/grow in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma called Grade A.
