Wow. So after over 2 months without any episodes of Future Chat, the intrepid hosts (and Senior Contributor) join up to catch up on each others’ summers. We end up talking quite a bit about recent political goings-on, mostly to agree to condemn white supremacy and racist dog-whistling. Unfortunately though, approaching the end of the show, the three of us couldn’t come together and agree on the best peanut butter. If you're wondering why the show ends with Mike playing Green Day, here's how the episode REALLY started... January 3, 2016 - Today, I introduce the new format of this podcast. Though I haven't settled on any specifics, I'm going to aim for ~5 minute episodes discussing things that interest or have to do with me, answer questions, or generally do whatever I feel like. In this episode, I discuss some of my challenges and triumphs with weight loss in the last year. This is part of a project I've tentatively called Make More wherein I am going to do and put out something creative every day for 2016. When that thing is just me talking into a microphone, it will be here. I hope you get something out of it. In this second episode of Fake It, I sat down with my good friend Damien Broomes. We talked about his recent celebrity encounter, exchanged views on success, and thought a lot about what it means to make it and be successful in the world. I think we both learned something!Let me know what you think in a comment below, on Twitter @RobAttrell, or wherever you see this posted. I have a podcast subscription link on the right for those interested. If you'd like to be on the show, feel free to let me know that too! We talked about: Thanks very much to Becca for taking such great photos! And Happy Birthday to Becca as well! Norman Borlaug is the man who saved a billion lives through agriculture who we talk about. He has a Nobel Peace Prize, so it's not like he's had no recognition, but he's far from a household name.
