Sarah Ajala-Immanuel is an evangelist of the Lord Jesus Christ committed to tackling and confronting error and deception in the African style of Christianity worldwide. The chief end of man is to give glory to God and enjoy Him forever. Most professing African Christians are restrained from doing this because of gross deception and false teaching. Sarah has a ministry to fight for the souls of men caught in that evil web so that the people may glorify the only Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, and God the Father only.

Most 'churches', and indeed their members have today deviated from the faith handed down by the Saviour and His trusted Apostles. For decades many men and women have risen proclaiming themselves to be servants of God; a collection of the downright crazy to the materially greedy, to the deceived. Their followers love them, with a view of the only Saviour and Lord as subordinate to their human leaders. As a result there are many terrible winds of teaching that are anything but what the Holy Bible says, but people believe their leaders have new revelations from God!
There are no new revelations, and the Lord Jesus Christ has NOT changed a letter of His written Word. What hurts the true believer who believes, trusts and obeys the written Word of God in this age, is that many professing Christians are headed for eternal damnation to hell, because of their love for their human leaders over and above their love for the only Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Believers have very many privileges to help us navigate life in an ever-sinful and wicked world. The greatest of our blessings from God is the Holy Spirit, God the Spirit, to help us live above sin, temptation and any trial. His ministry in the believer is invaluable, and we are all so blessed. There is a lot of deception out in the world to try to make us feel inadequate and discomforted in our faith. The Holy Spirit has been give to us by the Father, in line with our Lord's promise, for our security, so that we know exactly who we are in God's scheme of things.

Believers have been given an exclusive source of power and confidence that the world lacks, the Holy Spirit. He indwells every child of God, to lead, comfort, strengthen, correct, rebuke and encourage. His ministry is to testify to the majesty of our Lord and Saviour, and aid us to keep our faith and walk in Him. No believer can be utterly lost because the Holy Spirit is God's seal on us for our ultimate salvation!

Many Christians are troubled about the matter of knowing when God is speaking to them. While some are deluded in thinking God is actually speaking to them, and they boast in the regularity of this encounter, not comparing what they think they hear with the perfect Scriptures, others believe they do not have the privilege and as such consult the 'special ones' who have it to enquire of them!
But God is not far from His children, according to His infallible promise: “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. (John 14: 15-18)
The problem is not whether God is speaking to us or not, it is with our attitude to Him; are we obedient to the Lord? The Holy Spirit, God's Spirit, lives in every faithful believer, to guide us and open up God's voice to us in the holy Scriptures - we should be in no confusion.
The quest for the voice of God has and continues to lead many astray and into Satan's entrapment by false prophets and teachers. We have not been left as orphans and each of us has direct access to our Father.

The Christian life cannot be lived in the flesh, we simply do not have the strength and will to do it. Our merciful Saviour and Lord promised us the Holy Spirit to help us walk the narrow path on which He set our feet. By the Holy Spirit we are given new birth so that we become the children of God. He is with us to ensure we are kept for the Day of our Lord when we shall receive the promised crown of life.
We are in dangerous times however, where Satan has infiltrated the church space with many counterfeits. These impostors parade themselves as specially 'anointed' men and women of God who alone have access to God's presence and the Holy Spirit. Nothing is farther from the truth, but they hold many captive to their evil ministrations - this can be fatal if their listeners and followers do not repent and seek the true Saviour and Lord.

Hebrews 11, nicknamed the 'Faith Hall of Fame', pinpoints the remarkable faith of the patriarchs and everyday people who believed God against the odds and gained eternity life with Him. It has always been God's pleasure to bless His people, and even more so that the elect in Christ are now His children. A big part of His blessings upon us is discipline, to build the holy and righteous character He desires in us. When we are able to understand and thankfully receive His discipline in patience, perseverance and endurance, we receive daily grace and blessings to live victoriously in a world of evil.
God's Word assures us that no good thing would He keep from those who trust in Him (His children) Psalm 34. We are called to live for Him and all other blessings we need for life in the world will be given to us, Matthew 6: 25-34.
It is sin that makes the promises of our Father alien or unreachable to us.

In Romans 12: 3-8 instructs us about spiritual gifts. These gifts are for the edification of the Church, not to be exercised in arrogance or in showy manner. Our incarnate Lord, though being God, exhibited meekness during His earthly ministry, leaving us an example to follow.
Our spiritual gifts are to be exercised to serve others, we are not to be self-serving. The gifts are exactly that; gifts from God to bring Him glory. We have nothing to boast about, and are never to think we are superior to any other member of the body because of any gift we have,

Romans 12: 9-21 is thorough instruction as to how we must live to show ourselves as true disciples of Christ Jesus our Saviour, and the eternal God, our Father. Our lifestyle should reflect the beauty of the meekness of our Lord, His love, mercy and grace. Romans 8: 29 tells us clearly God's purpose for electing some for Himself; we are very privileged and are commanded to live up to the calling we have received.

In Acts 2: 42-47 we see the purpose and joy of the Christian Church. The pure joy and commitment of the fellowship meetings, and the blessings of God that followed in the addition of more members to His household. To this day God is still adding as many as He has sovereignly chosen to enter into His Kingdom. However, the age-old enemy of God, Satan, is busy at his work of ensuring many are deceived into thinking they belong to God when they are not. He continues to set up many decoy 'churches' teaching the unsuspecting and disobedient tantalising messages, while leading them all the way to eternal hell.
Each of us should think biblically and objectively about where we worship, whether it be of God or of Satan.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we a are being renewed day by day.For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Corinthians 4: 16)
The world in its depravity has nothing to offer its occupants but trouble in increasing measure. Believers are not exempt from the problems of this world; we just have hope that far outweighs all the troubles of this world. In our infallible and inerrant holy Scriptures, we have the promises of the almighty God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, that offers of joy, peace and strength in our journey through this life in spite of any storms that may arise.

In Matthew 13: 44-46 our Lord told us about the greatest treasure a man could possess; the grace of God in Jesus Christ our Saviour. Most people in the world are caught up with wanting to become someone successful, prosperous, powerful, noted, admired and important. Sadly, many perish in that vain pursuit, and many die trying. The majority never really find what they set out to achieve, and those who do soon learn there is no satisfaction or contentment for their souls in their great achievements.
But God's hidden treasure that is not actually hidden, of inestimable value, costs us nothing, brings us peace and joy, contentment, and spiritual riches that cannot be quantified. Life in Christ Jesus, which is citizenship of the Kingdom of God, is only received in our most humble circumstance; when we realise how sinful, poor, wretched and hopeless we are apart from Christ.

Romans 12: 1-2 instructs us on what is the reverent worship of God. True worship does not consist only in the gathering of the saints, but is primarily a personal devotion to the Lord and His Word in our individual lives. God must be the centre of our lives whether we are alone or in the company of other saints. Our love for God because of His love for us must be the sermon we preach to a perishing world about the wonderful salvation that is in Christ Jesus our Lord alone; this should be evidenced in our character.

Almighty God came down to man in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He came to be the Way for man to regain fellowship with God the Father, to pay for the sins of man, inherited and acquired. He offered Himself as a living sacrifice unto death, crucified on the cross and bled to death; He took our place on that cross, that we may be forgiven and walk free of any charge, to live with Him eternally. He was buried and resurrected to live again for ever, in fulfilment of His own words. All this was to give us abundant life forever; it was a selfless act of utmost LOVE.
Christ Jesus died for our sins, it is in Him that we are forgiven and consecrated unto the eternal Father, the ancient of days. Because of His amazing grace and love we are the children of God, born again by His Spirit who lives in us and directs us as light in a world of darkness. Because of the love of God for us we can walk triumphantly in peace and joy in a traumatised world.
What have you done with God's costliest gift to sinful mankind, the Lord Jesus Christ?

There is much going on in African 'Christianity' that beggars belief. Africans have manufactured some strange kinds of beliefs which they nickname as Christianity, but which are nothing but demonic and witchcraft. Introducing and leading these evil ways are very prominent men and women in what is wrongly and deceptively called 'church'. They title themselves general overseers, pastors, apostles and prophets, but they are servants of Satan. They know who they are, but their followers are deceived and cannot see beyond their masks of deception.
The return of the Lord Jesus Christ is always imminent, and so is the death of any human. One of these two events is a certainty for every person, yet there are many who think they are saved as Christians who actually have no right to call themselves so. Millions are being led to eternal hell by the leaders they honour and adore due to their ignorance of the living Word of God, which alone saves.

The world today paints a grim picture of the future. Every good virtue has been lost to permissiveness. The world embraces immorality and evil activities as 'good' and right in the eyes of corrupt mankind. Wickedness is rife and mental health issues are on a daily rise. We have been witnessing pockets of disasters across the world; famine, wild fires, floodings, wars, earthquakes, tsunamis, pandemics, etc. These calamities trouble the world and governments rally around to proffer solutions, often unsuccessfully. There is scurrying around to find ways of solving the problems and preventing them in the future; nothing has yet succeeded. Sadly, none of the leaders of society are looking upward in the direction of the sovereign Creator, who alone can bring or stop the disasters upon a sinful world.
Scriptures are clear about God's wrath and judgement. Scriptures are also as clear about God's love, mercy and grace, already expended on mankind in the gift of His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The world is under the wrath of God, yet all we witness today are mere snippets of what is to come on a global scale.
There is only one way out of the wrath of God whose judgement is pure, holy, and justified; the Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ.

The world, or most of it, comes to a peculiar standstill three times every year; Christmas, Good Friday and Easter (Sunday, with Monday in lieu). Not many people stop to think why this is so for a Saviour who is widely acknowledged as irrelevant, a lie, a simply nice man, a regular religious teacher, or any other way the unbelieving heart considers the Lord of life. Yet, the Lord shows His sovereignty on those days when people are generally pulled out of their usual hustle and bustle, and those who must work are generally paid at a premium to work on those important days. In this we see God showing His might over His creation, but most people do not understand; they just love the free holidays. But a day is coming for every person who has walked this earth to either rejoice in, or regret what they did with those days when they had breath in the world.

Many professing believers are discontent with their faith; they become restless, worrisome and wavering in their belief in God. Some would go as far as abandoning their faith altogether, without a thought for the salvation they claimed to have received in the first place. Their grievance is that they have been disappointed by God, His promises are not manifesting according to His Word. However, the questions to be asked is how they 'heard' the promises from God, did they have any personal knowledge or relationship with God?

Self-acclaimed servants of God today have come up with many schemes, that they describe as some gospel or the other. These ungodly messages from the very pits of hell do nothing but enslave hearers and lead them into idolatry. The eventual outcome of this for anyone who does not repent, is ultimate separation from God, the second death, and a eternal condemnation to hell.
There is only one Gospel that saves. We believe God, repent of our sins, submit ourselves to Christ the Saviour, we are forgiven and saved by Him. From the moment of our conversion we begin to walk in obedience to Christ, and He looks after every other area of our physical existence. The world is plagued with many men and sadly, women, who are self-appointed servants of God. These people have no regard and certainly no respect for the holy Scriptures as they go about their 'business', in their quest for filthy lucre.
The Church of Christ was established by Him through the Apostles and few Prophets that worked with them. Today the rest of us who serve the Church, and indeed every believer, is called to build on that foundation once-for-all laid by those specially elected men. However, pride and egotism have come to mean that many today would insist they are apostles and prophets, even though their ministries cannot be aligned with the holy Scriptures!

As Christians we are called to a life of discomfort and war, in a world that loves its sin. Satan's purpose is to destabilise our walk of faith, make us doubt God and even forsake the Lord, when tough times hit us, as they undoubtedly will.
The teachings of the holy sriptures are clear, we must persevere, endure and be patient daily as Christians. Sadly this is not the message on most pulpits in this age, and people are falsely taught that suffering must not be part of the Christian life. As such, many claim they are Christians when they are truly not, and when trials come they fail in their faith.

In this first chapter of the excellent epistle to the Colossians, Paul commends them for their humble and pure-hearted acceptance of the simple but powerful, life-saving Gospel of Christ Jesus. Pulpits and platforms today are inundated with disgusting, ridiculous and blasphemous teachings that can only lead their hearers to eternal hell. Sadly the followers of these false teachers love the deception they hear and would generally shut their ears against God's truth. They are enticed and seduced into false worship and eternal hell, as they worship their leaders and teachers, putting them in the place of God.

This study of verses from Chapter 2 of Paul's epistle to the Colossians, highlights the importance of Christ-centred life of worship, rather than the cold, vain practice of religion. A good number of professing Christians would resist biblical correction, conviction of sin and even a brotherly pointing out of their error. Their excuse? We are not to judge because only God knows who His true worshippers are! If we love our sin, we would believe that, because the inerrant Word of God, the Holy Bible is very clear as to who the children of God are who will be the inheritors of God's holy kingdom. A Christian who resists biblical correction or a brother pointing out their sin, should examine whether they are truly in the faith.

There is an ever-increasing number of church groups everywhere today, across the world, with particular emphasis on Africa. Ordinarily this should be seen as a good thing, because it should indicate a growing number of believers whose spiritual needs the Church is supposed to be meeting. Sadly this is not the case, but the trend is very worrisome and evidences a severe attack of the enemy on the Church of Christ, as the majority of these church groups are set up and run by individual and groups of servants of darkness masquerading as servants of light.
The bizarre characters presenting themselves as pastors and prophets, male and female, these days, is a cause for alarm for the Church of Christ. The world sees all these demonised characters as representatives of the Church of Christ when they are nothing but envoys of Satan sent to bring the Way of truth into disrepute. The impostors are not a part of us, and we all as faithful members of God's Church, rise up and reject these people by holding them up the the holy Scriptures, refuting their teachings, exposing their demonic practices and encouring the unsuspecting followers to reject them.

It is the Christmas season of year 2023, as we count years on earth. Faithful believers will be celebrating the most amazing thing that almighty God did for humanity 2023 years ago. Most of the world will shut down from labours on the day acknowledged by believers as Christmas Day, not indicating the day of the birth of our wonderful Lord, but a specifically appointed day to celebrate the fact of His advent. The question is will everyone enjoying the free holiday and celebrations be celebrating for the right reason, or just foolishly, not knowing the reason for the season?

Many people, believers and unbelievers alike celebrate Christmas across the world. A lot of these celebrations have nothing to do with Christ or His salvation. People spend a lot of time preparing for all kinds of occasions, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, many neglect the most important preparation for the greatest occasion of all; the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, or our being called out of the world to stand before God's throne, in death. Various messages are heard today off pulpits, claiming to be evangelism. People being invited to Christ for financial breakthrough, healing, miracles, finding marriage partners, and all kinds of sensations. The only true reason anyone should be invited to Christ Jesus is for the forgiveness of sin, in repentance; that is the message of the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. We are all by detault enemies of God because of our sinfulness, and without forgiveness in Christ our Lord, we will perish in our sins and be condemned to hell fire at the end of our time on earth,

Our wonderful and glorious Lord, in readiness to pay the price for all our sins in order that we may be forgiven and reconciled with God the Father, prayed for our sustenance. His death on the cross at Calvary would birth a new generation of grateful, righteous and holy nation; the children of God. Christ knew that we cannot live that new life in our own strength, so He prayed the Father on our behalf.

The primary purpose of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever; this cannot be done on a deathbed. Most people in the world, and in time every person in the world, would have had an opportunity to hear the message of the Gospel of salvation in Christ Jesus. This amazing salvation is God's offer of reconciliation to undeserving sinners that we are, and it is free! Personal selfish ambition and the love of sin keeps most people from receiving this gift of grace from an immeasurably loving and merciful God, who gave His only begotten Son to be the propitiation for our sins. It cost Christ Jesus His blood to earn our pardon.
It is delusion and deceptive to think that we can be obstinate towards the holy God all the days of our lives when we could have loved and honour Him, and be led to some vain confession of Christ as Saviour when we're about to face death and judgement. At the time we have our faculties, the health and vigour He provides, is when we can honour Him as Saviour, having repented, and Lord, spending all the rest of our life bringing glory to the Father and the Son, being in submission to the Holy Spirit.
We cannot deceive God and feign some cheap salvation because we face certain death and judgement!

Most have denied the Lordship of Christ Jesus, the only Saviour and Lord, to adopt the arm of flesh in their sinful, greedy and demon-infested leaders as lords, fathers and mothers; all roads lead to hell, shame!
No one who has not repented from and hates sin has ANY right to call themselves Christian.
There is only ONE way to be a Christian!
Some believers wonder why they suffer while many unbelievers seem to prosper. The Scriptures teach us very plainly that worldly success is only as useful as a person is in the world, and as many of the rich and successful in the world have ironically discovered, it does not guarantee happiness or peace. Believers are prosperous beyond human comprehension; being children of the sovereign God, having the abundance of the Kingdom of God as their inheritance, and in this world enjoying peace with God and joy. What we have in Christ Jesus cannot be measured in material terms; let us rejoice and be glad!
Our call to faith in God through Christ Jesus is misunderstood by many. We are not just called to be church attenders, who follow the routine of a religious practice. We are called to come out of the world and its sin and darkness, into God's own light and righteousness. This call will not gain us acceptance in a corrupt and God-hating world, but we will be despised just as our Lord was despised.
We need to prepare our minds for this, and it can be rather daunting, but our Lord Himself holds us up through all our travails and gives us the strength, power and will to succeed. God has called us to be His own people!
We are Christians, who claim to believe the Gospel of the Lord, Jesus Christ, unto salvation. We say we trust Him in all things and for all things, we live for Him. But many set their minds on worldly expectations in spite of this confession. When such needs are not met according to 'their' expectations, they begin to doubt God and His Word.
Is there any merit to such belief system, or do some professing Christians simply don't understand the faith they profess?
As believers we affirm that Almighty God is our Father, and that is who He is! Does that however, mean we should set unrealistic carnal desires before us and expect God to accede to all our requests? Is Christianity as cheap as confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and then living selfishly?
We are saved by grace, and our salvation is free, fully paid for by the Christ's death on the cross . We are expected to make personal sacrifices towards holiness and righteousness; Christlikeness, to identify with the Lord we profess.
As the world advances in technology, science and what is celebrated as knowledge, so is it descending into the deepest level of crass immorality. But all this is seen as advancement and pursuing the freedom of man; but they plunge themselves into further bondage to the devil. The deplorable state of evil and moral decadence in the world should not come as a surprise to the faithful believers; we have been given signs and knowledge of what to expect.
As the world carries on regardless of God's impending judgement, which they are surely aware of, but would rather deny, the Church must stand firm in these evil days. We are being persecuted and will face rising persecution, but it is well with our souls, the Lord is near, and we must stand firm in the battle.
This discourse informs biblically on the sorry state of mankind, increasing signs of evil that we witness, and reassures the faithful believers of God's sovereingty over all.
As life goes on on earth, ever so distressingly and woefully, people are full of questions in fear of what it to come. It is right for a rebellious world to fear the future, because it belongs to God who has promised to bring the world to a close and judge it! It is unfortunate however, to see the same fear in professing Christians...what should we expect to come? There is nothing strange about the ridiculousness of life in the world that we witness today, the Lord tells us in His infallible Word, what to expect.
Why are professing Christians worried? They worry because they have neither believed nor held to the Truth, they worry because their hearts are not committed to the Lord in spirit and in truth, hence they lack saving faith. These conditions have brought much evil into the Church space, and it is time faithful believers begin to discern and reject the workings of the evil one in our fellowship, as we await the return of our glorious Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We begin the study of the first chapter of the great book of guidance through life, Proverbs.
Man cannot live a fulfilled and wholesome life without the help, guidance and blessing of the only Giver of life; evidence abounds in the lives of the ungodly. The wisdom of God is available to those who seek it, His children chosen by grace.
We explore the benefits of God's wisdom as we journey through this life, as taught to us in the invaluable book of Proverbs, written by king Solomon, endowed with second-to-none wisdom by almighty God. We will study the first four chapters of Proverbs, to help us walk as the blessed children of God that we are as believers.
There are very many church groups across the world, yet unrighteousness is on the rise. There are many professing church leaders, yet godlessness is on the increase. Many in the church space do not even know what the Christian faith is, let alone why they are in the church. The situation calls for serious consideration, as it could have eternally serious consequence.
As we enter into a new year in the world, many people are full of hope, aspirations and appetites for bigger and greater things; much of this is false, having been promised by liars who are out to deceive. The most important need of man is not bigger and better finances and 'things', but the grace and mercy of God.
Year after year the people are deceived, and although they do not see the false promises delivered, they continue to believe their false teachers rather than turn to the Lord to meet their real need. God is not under obligation to meet man's covetous and materialistic requirements; He is holy, and commands us to be the same (1 Peter 1: 13-16).
A study of the final chapter of this glorious epistle from the Apostle of love for our practical Christian lives.
A study of this amazing letter to believers for uncommon encouragement in the face of sufferings, is a most invaluable asset to every believer in every age as we experience all kinds of hardship and travails in a hostile world.
We all get hurt sometimes, by other humans, and we feel the pain. Often times we struggle to get over the betrayal and hurt we feel because a lot of times these were unwarranted. When we see or remember the person who hurt or betrayed us we feel the pain anew, and sometimes there's an unhealthy desire to see them suffer too, or avenge ourselves somehow. But we have ourselves betrayed and sinned against the almighty God who chose to forgive and love us rather than condemn us, we live daily in His amazing grace. Being recipients of God's great mercy and grace, He commands us to extend the same to fellow men who sin against us, and this can seem impossible. Our Lord is wonderful and compassionate, He knows exactly the pains we feel because He went through worse for us; yet He insists we must forgive as we have been forgiven. How do we do this?
The world is overwhelmed with 'churches' in this age. Ordinarily this would seem a good and progressive thing, but is it? We are inundated with too many unsaved Christians, mostly a Christless Christianity, and an army of self-appointed men and women who think they use God to their advantage in the foolishness of their sense of pride and importance. Does God's silence mean assent to this offence called worship?
These days many believers are scammed by the brigade of false teachers that have infiltrated the Church space. People, and in particular Africans are misled to sow all kinds of financial seeds to God in order to reap a thousand fold of their investments. The determinedly manipulate the holy Scriptures to prove a moot point; that God will not bless until He is paid!
Nothing can be further from the truth, our heavenly Father who gave us His only begotten, perfect Son at no cost to us requires nothing in order for us to be blessed by Him except our obedience to His Word; which not financially appraised.
Bible study emphasising what constitutes true worship of God according to the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry.
All believers were promised the Holy Spirit of God in His time through many of the Old Testament prophets, John the Baptist told us of the promise in the same way through his ministry. Today many hold to the error that unless a believer speaks in 'tongues' or has had a phenomenal experience or is able to work signs and wonders, they have not been baptised by the Holy Spirit. These erroneous assertions can deplete the faith of some believers who have no such testimonies and could discourage them. Some people feel inferior to the 'tongue' blasters and those who tell of some strange spiritual encounters.
There is no confusion in the Word of God given to us for our walk of faith, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs in every person who puts their trust in Christ, without our requesting it, it is the gift of God as promised by our Lord Jesus Christ in John 14:15-17.
How is our love for God evidenced in our lives, and even more importantly how is our love for God seen as genuine by our Father Himself? What is it that gives us assurance that we are children of God and that we have a place in the Father's House whenever we are taken out of this world? These are questions that many professing Christians ponder and because of all kinds of corrupt teachings they hear, many remain in fear of the unknown. This is a contradiction in terms for believers; we have every assurance in the Word of God of our positions as sons and daughters of God, and many assurances about our life journeys.
There is something that proves our sonship or lack of it however, and it is clearly pointed out in the inerrant Word of God; disobedience. This is what separates the wheat from the chaff, and we will do well to learn and obey the Word of God.
Today's church has many problems, from apostacy to the most bizarre! Yet every 'church' type has its own followers, sadly. Christians are betrothed to one Groom, the Lord Jesus Christ, and should know His voice only, the Gospel of His great salvation. For this Gospel that we may be free from sin and victorious over it, He went to the cross to die in our place. We are saved unto Christlikeness; that He may be the first-born among many brothers, to do good works which God prepared in advance that we may walk in them.
Christendom is overwhelmed with many impostors with their own bad news which they nickname 'gospel', and many follow them to their own detriment. They follow them because of the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and pride of life, Satan's channels of temptation that must be discerned and rejected by every faithful believer. It is clear that followers of false ministers are foreign to the Saviour and follow their leaders in procession to eternal damnation; the very plan of Satan.
The calling of the prophets and apostles in the Scriptures evidences a calling to abandon the world and its foolish ways, and to follow the Lord at any and every cost even unto death. That calling also evidences believing faith that is a gift from God, as we see the called immediately abandon all they were doing to follow the Lord without question, and without concern for earthly rewards.
This is not the situation we witness today as men and women who claim to be called into the Lord's service focus on achieving and accumulating stupendous wealth from proclaiming their own messages, which are far from the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that alone has saving power unto salvation.
Major problems abound in this day in the Christendom because of the many atrocities we witness being performed by so-called 'men and women of God'. All this serves to bring disrepute to the Church of God and blasphemy against the holy and glorious Name of our Lord and Saviour. Faithful believers are compelled to uphold the honour of our God, but unfortunately not many feel this obligation but would rather claim they are leaving judgement to God; believers are called to righteous judgement. We have a duty to call men from the way of error who are deluded to think they are worshipping the Lord while honouring the evil machinations of their false leaders.
Has God lowered His standards of accountability, holiness and righteousness for His servants? We know that God is immutable and His Word is settled in heaven and will never change; the holy Scriptures are to guide us until the return of our Christ. Should we then continue to accept any person that rises up claiming they are called of God to His service without discernment? This must not be so!
With all the restless so-called Christians amongst the African people today, the Saviour's promise of Him and the Father coming to make their home with the believers seems to have been lost to very many. Yet the Lord cannot lie nor will He change His Word. Those who love the Word of God and obey and walk in it will testify to the ever-present joy and peace of God in the power of His Holy Spirit always. The problem with most of what is regarded as Christianity in Africa and by Africans is not much else than cultism and pagan worship...yet the holy Name of Jesus Christ is mouthed as though He were subordinate to the false ministers who hold the undiscerning followers captive. Both leader and follower are destined for eternal hell unless repentance occurs.
Christianity is an individual relationship with God the Father through God the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. No man can have access to Almighty God by his own merits because we are born sinful and unholy. We enter through the grace of God's only Son who gave Himself as the atoning sacrifice for our sins; only He could do it. Whether we choose to believe that or not is our personal decision for life or death.
Therefore a Christian is one who has believed on Christ Jesus and His work of atonement on the cross at Calvary. That person is given the right to become a child of God, is rebirthed by the Holy Spirit of God and becomes a completely new being carrying God's seed in him. Such a one cannot go on living in sinfulness; they have been sanctified and remain holy unto the Lord, living righteously in Him and for Him.
Sadly this is not the picture we get from the majority of professing Christians today, and the problem has been compounded in Africa where witchcraft, superstition and human traditions have been thrown in a melting pot with Christianity and not many know what they profess to believe. This has fatal consequences; God is not mocked.
A study of this delightfully joyful epistle written by Paul the Apostle in prison. Full of encouraging counsel for us in the face of adversity, we have our Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostle as role models of living victoriously in times of struggles and particularly persecution.
There is so much misrepresentation of what the Christian faith is, who a Christian is and what the Church is today, that is has brought much confusion and blasphemy to the only Saviour and Lord of mankind. The chief end of man is to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever, but this has been lost with the corruption that the devil has brough into the Christian faith.
No faithful Christian should be a victim of Satan's assault because we are armed to be victorious through our testimony of Christ Jesus. Sadly not many professing Christians today can speak of that testimony, they simply do not know what it is nor can they live up to it. As such they walk under a strong delusion that they have Christ as Saviour and Lord while their lives evidence otherwise. This will have damning consequences unless those so entrapped can gain true freedom in Christ.
Perhaps still in the Euphoria of a 'cross over' night celebration in church on the last day of the year, African Christians across the world will run off to their African church on Sunday morning to celebrate 'First Sunday' of the year. They will display every possible pomp and pageantry and everyone will aim to get to church earliest to get a vantage point seat at the front where 'pastor / papa/ mama' will see them in their opulence. The competition to give abundant financial 'thanksgiving seed' will be intense, as they are led to believe this will open doors to new financial heights, miraculous breakthroughs, societal promotion, and all kinds of carnal desires, supposedly promised by God.
The following day life will go an as normal, the people waiting in futile expectation of these promises through the year while pastor has increased in wealth and begins his lavish spending on more luxurious living.
Is this the work of, or does this evidence the Church of Christ?
There is a lot of misrepresentation of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in what is seen as the Christian church today, this is blasphemy. A lot of what is deceptively called church today are mere set-ups by unscrupulous men and women serving Satan for the purposes of misleading people and enriching themselves. The Scriptures are quite clear about the person and work of the Holy Spirit and many are deceived mostly because they are too lazy to study the Scriptures for themselves, or their conversion to Christ is insincere.
Most of the world celebrates this season annually, with or without justification. The question that should be asked is what Christmas means to each individual; and each person's answer determines whether Christmas is a blessing to them or their condemnation.
We have supernatural resources available to us as children of the Most High God; there should be no temptation or trial that we cannot overcome on earth. The reason many professing believers are defeated or fallen in the world is because they do not know the Word of God, the sword of the Spirit or how to use it victoriously. Bible study should be more desirable to the Christian than our daily food.
Many atrocities are daily being performed by several set-ups called 'church' in this age, this is nothing new, Satan has attempted to counterfeit every work of God from the very beginning. In this present age however, he has found many willing tools that he uses to further his cause of sending as many as he can to hell who will be with him in the fiery furnace.
Many unscrupulous men and women set up their own personal business which they deceitfully call 'church' to further their personal evil agenda driven by selfish ambition because Satan has enticed them. With wicked hearts they deceive many into believing they are sent of God and can help them get to heaven, yet they themselves are foreign to the Lord, objects of reproach who are destined for eternal hell (2 Peter 2). Their followers will end up in the same judgement unless they repent!
The world hates God and does not hide the fact, so that is alright, God in His goodness has given mankind the right to choose right or wrong. The problem in hand however, is with those who profess they love God but are liars! The world abounds with so much superficial Christianity believing the lies of Satan rather than the truth of God. I do believe that the African continent has the largest number of churches and an inordinate number of men and women who claim to be servants of God, but who have absolutely no knowledge of the Lord the purport to serve. It is not as though these people do not know that they trade in deception, that is precisely what they set out to do, but their followers fail to see through their lies and deceit because their minds are not seeking the truth of God; they prefer the lies of Satan because it is more subtle and covers up their sins.
The life-saving Word of God is invaluable for us to walk triumphantly through an evil world; it is a need greater than our daily food.
A study of the blessedness of the believer in the Lord's longest recorded prayer to the Father before His arrest to the Cross. In this we discuss the amazing blessing of the believer's election and special place in the Kingdom of God who sovereignly chose us.
Audio recording of Bible study via zoom discussing the vital need to study the Word of God in order to live right as believers.
A great trend has been established in this age where the Biblical counsel that says "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10) has been abandoned, and the 'fear of pastor' is now taken to be the beginning of a prosperous life. This is tragic because the sovereign God is under no obligation to receive anything we offer Him as worship; He has commanded us as to how to worship Him. Many are headed for doom and destruction because they prefer the deceiving words of their 'church' leaders to the true and infallible Word of the Lord, and they practice this with reckless abandon. Will God overlook His statutes to embrace man's preference?
There is only one true God and He has revealed Himself in the pages of the Holy Bible; any other description or representation outside of the holy scriptures is false and blasphemous. Unfortunately this is what is practiced across the world today in the name of Christianity. Particular emphasis is placed on Africa and what is seen as Christianity there in this episode. It is a very sad situation that most people who claim they are Christians in Africa have little or no interest in the Kingdom of God but expend all their energy on the here and now, getting wealth and receiving miracles; a mirage that is sold to them by their false servants of God.
In this recording of our weekly Zoom Bible studies that started in January 2021, we're exploring the importance of Bible study for our growth in faith in Christ Jesus our Lord.
It is a sad fact that many professing Christians spend more time complaining and nagging the Lord about their needs and desires than they spend thanking Him for His common and uncommon grace upon their lives in what they do have. This attitude will unfortunately keep such a person from realising the amazing gift of peace and joy of the Lord. Complaining is a poor testimony of our faith and trust in the Lord who knows what is best for each of His children and will not be compelled by our whims and nagging to do anything He has not decided in His sovereignty to do in our lives.
Ingratitude before the Lord puts us in the same position as the unbelievers; it is God's desire to bless His children according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus our Lord. Would you deny yourself this blessing?
We all develop our own desires, ambitions and aspirations once we're old enough to do so. There is nothing wrong with that, but when we come to know salvation in Christ, our purpose in life will change because our perspective on life changes, if we are truly born again. Christianity is a sacrificial way of life and not a religion. When we say we are submitting to Christ we must be willing to give up our personal aspirations that we had in the flesh for His utmost calling to righteousness and allow Him to live His life through us.
The character of Christ is explained in the beatitudes, as he preached in the famous 'sermon on the mount'. This is character His followers are expected to imbibe as we walk with Him in our journey through life on earth. The characteristics involved are absolutely contrary to those of the world or any of its expected standards of living; but that must be the life of the true saint.
The way the world measures success is actually in contrast to the way God sees success. The world's perspective is based on materialism and vain conceit. A person is considered a success because of their worldly achievements and societal influences, but these things have no eternal value and perish with use.
A successful life from the perspective of God is a life lived in obedience and honour of God and His Word. Such a person may have no wealth, flourishing career or popularity in the world, nor do they seek such. They however have a wonderful relationship with the Lord and revel in His goodness, joy and peace; the very things every person in the world covets and many pursue in the wrong ways. That relationship is for eternity, unlike relationships in the world that only last this far with the exception of the saints of God who will be forever eternally.
There are many confused believers who cannot understand why God does not appear to answer prayers like He used to in biblical times. The truth is that God is still very active in the lives of His children and His children understand that His answer to prayers may not necessarily be in the way they would like, but they trust Him to always do the best thing for them. This is faith; not expecting God to take orders from us but we subjecting ourselves to His sovereign decisions.
However, disobedience to God's Word and ordinances will do nothing for our relationship with Him, where there is one. Those who love God walk in obedience and enjoy Him in everything, the disobedience prove their ignorance of God and should not expect to receive anything from Him. Whatever the disobedience receive from God is of His common grace; He has no relationship with the disobedient, they are rebellious.
Many profess the Christian faith yet live below the blessedness of the privilege of being a child of God. They wonder why the promises of the Lord do not seem to manifest in their lives and many walk away from the faith; but God is not a man that He should lie nor can He change His mind. With our profession of faith must come repentance and obedience to the Word of God. That is when we can live by the Spirit of the Lord, with whom every true believer is blessed, and we live victoriously.
When we are in the Lord Jesus Christ we are refreshed by the Holy Spirit, comforted from all the harshness of life. Mankind destroys itself by walking and attempting to live apart from his Creator hence the stresses and struggles that destroy many. Peace and joy come as the gift from God, it is what every person living on earth earnestly desire, but in futility they search outside of God. Children of God overflow with peace, joy and blessedness because of the Spirit of the living God in us.
A very religious people speak and make boasts in the name of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, but in their delusion they have no knowledge of the holy God and sovereign Saviour. They make up their own impotent gods in their evil and corrupt minds and the devil their father deceives them to believe they speak on behalf of the Almighty. They mislead many equally wicked followers to believe they are servants of the mighty God, yet they tell their gods what to do and issue wicked commands to them; they are NOT servants of the eternal God in heaven. They have NOT stood in His counsel because of their wicked ways, corrupt and evil hearts, foul and deadly tongues, and their pride! They cannot speak for the living holy God, but will perish in their own sins if they do not repent.
There is no thought for God, His righteous requirements or eternal judgement in the brand of Christianity peddled in Nigeria and across Africa. All that is blurted out of the stages called pulpits are nothing but words of vain flattery and deceit, cunningness and outright lies and deception - surely the Christ preached in Africa is a different one and indeed the antichrist, alongside the god of Mammon. There will be severe consequences for both the preacher and the follower; God is not mocked.
The number of seemingly Christian people continues to rise across the world, if only that were relative to rise in righteousness and Godly living, it would be great. The first century believers and the Apostles who established the church groups everywhere they went were accused of turning the world upside down. Today the agenda of the so-called church established by various men is quite different; they offer false promises and entertainment, they are seeker-friendly gatherings with the sole purpose of enriching the leader whilst deluding the followers into believing they are saved.
The followers are equally guilty of unbelief; their sole purpose is to satisfy their carnal cravings for spectacular miracles and financial blessings. As such they do not go to seek the forgiveness and salvation, they find the message of the Gospel of Christ which is about repentance and righteousness unattractive, but will give all their attention and material wealth over to lying preachers who tickle their ears with lies and mesmerise them with fake healings and false promises of deliverance and financial rewards.
Both leaders and followers are hell-bound unless there is genuine repentance!
Dreadful leadership has overtaken the African church space; most of them having risen from Nigeria, a leader in every kind of evil. These charlatans from the very pits of hell are able to gather multitudes after themselves, and brainwash their followers quite easily, with messages that oppose the pure and simple message of the Holy Scriptures. The people believe and follow them because the people are themselves not seeking God nor His forgiveness; as their horrible leaders so are they greedy, selfish and wicked in their hearts. Of such the Lord clearly says they have NO share in His Kingdom (Ephesians 5: 5).
Their deceiving leaders boast as though they hold the keys to God's kingdom, they determine who enters and who does not, and their followers believe them. But the leaders have absolutely NO fellowship with the Lord, are themselves shut out of God's Kingdom and are hellbound (2 Peter 2: 17-19); their followers share in their sin, unless they repent and turn to the true and only Saviour, Jesus Christ.
The adoption of 'spiritual father' and 'spiritual mother' is a dreadful act of idolatry that attacks the very person of our Saviour who rejects the notion (Matthew 23: 8-10). Nobody who walks in direct disobedience to the commands of the Saviour has any life in Him or any share in his Kingdom. Unfortunately that is the demand of false church leaders across Africa, they demand the honour of parenthood and their followers are too eager to give it in the hope of finding favour with them. A good relationship with a leader does not add up to a good relationship with the Lord, and most of it is idolatry anyway, which God detests.
Nigeria is a purveyor across Africa of all things evil as far as Christianity is concerned; other nations follow blindly because of the very same selfish ambition and greed that has led their Nigerian mentors down the path of perdition.
Continuing the series on a nation where idolatry is rife, wickedness is routine, blasphemy is the native tongue...but the people expect the blessings of the holy God!
A nation filled with Satanic messengers disguised as messengers of the Lord Jesus Christ, who constantly deceive in His holy Name, bringing the way of truth into disrepute while digging the people deeper into sin and alienating them from the grace of God. Their false teachings and evil machinations has and continues to spread across the continent of Africa, bringing all to shame and pain.
Will such a people be blessed?
Many people 'come' to Christ because of false promises they have heard made to them, not because they see themselves as sinners needing forgiveness and salvation. Since their seeking is not in line with the will of God, and their expectations are from mere men like themselves, the promises fail and many leave the Church in dissatisfaction, or remain restless changing church groups as often as they hear new false promises being made.
The Scriptures are quite clear; we turn to Christ to honour Him as Saviour and Lord and live selflessly for His purposes, not because of our concerns for better living circumstances for today.
So much religion yet wickedness and unrighteousness continues on the rise; so much 'praising' of God yet much more cursing comes forth from the same mouth; so much of asking for God's miracles but the same people despise the less privileged. God is not mocked - righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people (Proverbs 14:34). Idolatry is rife in the country. This would explain why Nigeria remains under siege to Satan, in increasing misery, pain, unrest, fear and unrighteousness.
False religion abounds in a nation that is soaked in human blood shed through many means of evil...and the people are promised God's blessings! Satan's envoys are too numerous to count in the country and they are the loudest voices being heard and honoured by an undiscerning multitude as the servants of the holy God, selling various 'Christianity' types that are unknown and unacceptable to God.
These are men already condemned by God as stated in His infallible Word, and their followers share in their sin because the Lord Jesus Christ has stated that a bad tree cannot bear good fruit; it is time for people to repent and seek true salvation.
There is yet to be seen a nation that is more religious and has more worship houses than the country Nigeria. I don't believe any other people in the world fast and pray as much...and curse! In spite of all the religious activities that abound in the country, and is even exported across the continuent of Africa and into the western world where Nigerians dwell, unrighteousness, wickedness and suffering continues to rise across the country. But the 'church' leaders continue to deceive the people that they are God's special people and He has amazing plans for them; nothing is farther from the truth.
Is God a liar? No, certainly not! Nigeria practices its own various brands of 'Christianity' that are foreign to the Lord of the Church. Christianity types full of idolatry, deceit, evil machinations and every type of falsehood and wickedness that can be imagined. The people are undiscerning because they do not have the Holy Spirit, so they lend themselves to Satan as instruments of sinfulness while trusting in themselves as good enough for God.
Nigeria is a country under God's wrath!
We have an army of people today parading themselves as Christians, pastors, prophets, overseers, deacons and any other title they think favours them before the world. The Lord is however not impressed with titles for a start, and false professions of the faith, and He will not be forced into accepting just anyone who vainly calls on Him with a religious practice of their own.
The path to salvation is very narrow and the gate to the Kingdom of God very small; clearly NOT the way many are walking these days and certainly not the gate the crowds are rushing through.
This present age is filled with many religious people, not in the least professing Christians. Yet we do not see the power, grace and love of God abounding in most of these self-acclaimed Christians. We see them in the same rat race as the world, exercising the same sense of greed and quest for power, fame and money, expressing the same lusts for the world and things of the world.
Clearly these are people who merely consider Christianity a 'safe bet' of a religion...just in case there really is hell fire. True Christianity is life changing and has absolutely nothing in common with the very many religions of the world or its people.
Those who do not treasure what they have received by God's grace in Christ, if they have indeed received it, face eternity in hell. God paid such the highest price for our souls just so we may enjoy eternity with Him, in faithful, obedient and loving service; that life begins right here in the world.
In Ecclesiastes 7: 29 we read: Truly, this only I have found; that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes."
Almighty God created the heavens and the earth, He created mankind to dominate the earth and enjoy the abundance of its fullness of riches and providence. He did this in order that mankind would honour Him, their Creator and enjoy His presence, giving Him all the glory for all He has done and continues to do.
In this mankind as a whole failed, being filled with all kinds of selfish and personal ambition, ingratitude to God and sinfulness. Yet God continues to show mercy and give grace, sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, to be the propitiation for the sins of mankind, which must be punished in accordance with God's holiness and righteous judgement. Christ is the only acceptable sacrifice for sin before the sovereign God because He was perfect as a man and offered Himself up to die for our sins; no sacrifice for sin is left or acceptable to God the Father.
Anyone who rejects Christ as Saviour and Lord smirks in the face of God, and this is what the unbelieving world does. Will this go unpunished?
As the people of the world and even some professing Christians are busy at their own race and ambitions for self-actualisation in a dying world, the Kingdom of Heaven is being offered for free to as many as would thankfully receive the gift. God's patience however, is not to be taken for granted, and the grace period ultimately ends for each person at death, and will definitely end for all one day.
The most precious and everlasting inheritance is being shunned by men in their selfishness and wickedness, while mankind pursues the perishable...how sad. The gift is on offer while we all have our breath, but for how long?
Pastor worship is an absolutely abominable thing before the Lord, who alone is Saviour and God. The practice is quite simply idolatory and God says the He hates idolatry. As an acceptable practice in the quasi-Christianity practiced by many professing believers in this age, the worship of the leader is an ever-increasing phenomenon. It involves such loyalty as with reckless abandon of senses to the extent of turning themselves to slaves to their 'god' who is obeyed and honoured far more than the living God.
People who engage in this practice, regardless of their profession of 'Jesus is Lord' as part of their religious practice, are repulsive to the sovereign God and are cultists and NOT Christians. They share in the sin of blasphemy of their adored leaders and will ultimately end up in judgement to hell with them rather than the hoped for reward of eternal life with God.
Many in the church space today think they are Christians just because they belong to some religious group, are welcomed into the family of God by some leader, are made to speak some words of confession or observe regular religious practices as determined by the one who leads them.
Unfortunately those who live in such line of belief without knowing Christ Jesus alone as Saviour and Lord, simply live a lie that benefits them nothing. There are numerous groups across the world today that name themselves 'church', the majority of which do not belong to the Lord of the Church; and people in those set-ups who are usually devoted to their leaders, are idolaters, and not worshippers of Christ Jesus.
The result of continuing in that folly until their deaths mean they never knew the only Saviour, never served Him in a faithful and holy relationship, and will face eternal judgement to hell. Unless Christ alone is all-in-all to us, we engage in futile religious practices that are alien to His universal Church where Christ alone is Lord.
Promises are made to many in the church space about what God has said He would do, and the people are then led to part with enormous amounts of cash and property, made to punish their bodies by empty fasting throughout the year. All these false 'prophecies' being blurted out about financial miracles and better material standards of living are NEVER from the holy God whose desire is for holiness and righteous living by everyone.
Due to selfish ambition and no regard for the majesty of the Saviour, the greedy believe the lies and subject themselves to slavery to the evil men and women who hold them captive to their own words rather than the living and active Word of almighty God. The tragedy is not just that the people spend all their money and time on promises that will never be delivered, but their souls are lost to condemnation to hell at their death.
In this sermon we look into God's infallible and inerrant Word to see what He has to say about false prophets and their empty words of flattery.
Everyone desires to be blessed by God and have a good life. God has made promises of a good life and blessings indeed, but for His children, who walk according to His commands. The is a providential God and He does permit anyone to prosper in what they do if they work hard enough and conscientiously enough, believer or unbeliever alike. There are however promises of forgiveness, sonship, peace, love, joy and eternal life, made only to those who believe in the atoning work of the only Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ and walk in honour of Him. These are amazing promises that can only be satisfied by God; that we must all seek.
The beginning of a new year in this age means we are inundated with an incredible number of 'prophecies' and 'visions' from false prophets and deceivers who claim they have been given word from God. Their followers run with the lies with false hopes and expectations for another year, but live through the year unfulfilled and restless as they do not see the manifestation of the promises in their lives.
Some die and many will suffer a lot of hardship and difficulty through the year contrary to the promises they happily received at the beginning of the year, but none of them have the courage to challenge the authority that lied to them. They are often made to feel responsible for anything that goes wrong in their lives by their leaders who accuse them of lack of faith, inadequate financial giving, irregular attendance of the place of worship, insufficient adoration of the leader, and all sorts of foolish notions. These are disclaimers for the lying leader who continues to live in opulence from the proceeds of 'seeds' and 'offerings' their followers are compelled to deliver.
This is not a new phenomenon however, false prophets have always existed. It is the responsibility of a professing believer to search the Word of God for truth in order to know the will of God; for one thing God does not get excited nor send new promises for any new year, God is timeless.
To walk successfully with God in a world of sin and darkness, oppressions on every side and opposition in every way, we must arm ourselves in line with Biblical command to put on the whole armour of God. Many professing Christians are naked and as such do not live up to the promises in the Word for the children of God. Nobody can walk with God or know Him apart from His given Word.
This new series of Bible studies are aimed at helping equip the saints for fruitful Christian living every day, which will in turn mean a fulfilling life of victory and fruitfulness to the glory of our Lord in a world of turmoil.
The year 2020 as we count years on earth has been a fairly unusual one that took all of the world by surprise, with the Covid-19 pandemic grinding all of man's activities to a halt. For some people the year has been painful and traumatic with the loss of loved ones, loss of earnings and the inability to live life as usual. Yet for some it has been another lovely year, a divine gift from God who alone has the power of life and death in His hands.
As we hope to enter into another earthly year, the pandemic continues and most people across the world are still hampered in their activities. So...what lessons were learnt in 2020 and what are the plans we can make or have made for the year 2021? In this sermon, I will endeavour to clarify what the Word of God says about how we live and plan our lives on earth.
Appropriate praise to God is one of the fruit we produce as believers who appreciate the amazing grace, love and mercy we dwell in. The right kind of praise glorifies God and this is the chief end of man; to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. This psalm written by a heart full of the knowledge of God and His sovereign majesty, gives Him glory for His astonishing works. Recalling God's greatness and goodness is a most excellent way of giving Him the praise due to His magnificent majesty.
Almighty God is the very best Father any person can have, and a relationship with Him the best of all relationships, enduring for all eternity. As erring humans prone to sin and godlessness we can break this most valuable fellowship with the Lord as a result of disobedience; God is holy and we can only have fellowship with Him when we are obedient.
The good news is that God is loving, merciful and gracious; He always gives us a chance to repent and restore our fellowship with Him. When we are repentant He has promised to forgive our sins and remember them no more.
Do you feel or know that you are out of fellowship with God? Take Him at His infallible Word today and return to the only Saviour who can take your sins away and crown you with mercy and compassion.
Life on earth is full of ups and downs, good days and bad days, fruitful seasons and unfruitful seasons, laughter and tears, life and death...and all kinds of uncertainties. But in the middle of all the chaos that seems attendant with life in the world, there is a certain peace and assurance that is offered to those who know the Saviour and Lord, the children of God. In all our our troubles we are assured of God's perfect peace that transcends all understanding, and His joy that is not dependent on our physical circumstances. God is able to make all things abound to us according to His Word, because He is the Almighty with whom nothing is too difficult.
The important thing for us is to know the God who has promised, believe His Word and trust in Him. He is able to bring a harvest out of every season of drought we may face in life, He is our God, the Restorer of all things to the glory of His praise.
No matter what situation we come about in the world, the Holy Bible, the living Word of God has something to say about it. The most amazing aspect of it is that everything the Word says is truth and can neither be disputed or refuted. The is the power of the believer; that our God is sovereign and know the end from the beginning. In a world that is always searching for truth and answers, we have the almight God's truth and answers, and this is where we simply must go to live a peace and joy-filled life full of God's endless power.
There is so much going on in the world today concerning Christianity that is so worrisome. A lot of nonsense has come into the scenario and being falsely associated with our inestimable faith in Christ our Lord. Some of the atrocities we witness are almost beyond belief, particularly across the African continent. Yet it is not as if the Lord has lost the grip on His Church which He alone purchased with His blood; He made it clear Himself during His earthly ministry that the evil we witness today would come, but He is in control and is longsuffering - He is the Judge.
God has given us everything we need for life and Godliness, but many choose to live for themselves and according to their own sinful will. We have received the greatest gift we can ever receive from our Maker; His only begotten and beloved Son, Jesus Christ who is our Saviour and Lord.
What will you do with Christ?
There is nothing like a bystander Christian, one who is in the body of Christ only as a spectator watching others utilise their talents. Each believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit of God and He gives gifts to each person in varying measure, in order to help us grow within the body of Christ. We are all called to serve and fight the good fight as soldiers of Christ. There are consequences for disobedience as our Lord illustrates in this parable.
We are saved unto Christlikeness, but not many professing Christians know this most important fact. In His sermon on the mount, our Lord describes His very own character in various ways in teaching us how to be a delight to our heavenly Father - this must be our life ambition.
Many Christians struggle to identify the presence or anointing of the Holy Spirit in themselves and definitely not in another person, hence the reason false ministers and false teachings have saturated the world and hold the people captive, though professing to be believers.
In this episode I concentrate on what the holy Scriptures say about identifying the presence of the Holy Spirit in ourselves and knowing that we are the children of God. When we know our identity in Christ Jesus it would be impossible for the devil and his servants to deceive us let alone hold us captive; we are God's freed people!
There are four different kinds of people in the world, and indeed in what is called the church in this age. These four categories are identified by our Lord in the parable of the sower, that each man may examine where he stands with the Lord. There is only one way of salvation and that through the Son of God, Jesus Christ and His atoning death on the Cross. Apart from Christ Jesus there can be no forgiveness or salvation. Sadly in this parable the Lord tells us only a minority will receive the Word and be saved, how terrible and sad for mankind.
We have a lot to learn from the Lord of life Himself in the parables He spoke during His earthly ministry and we will do well do trust and obey His words in order that we can be saved.
Many say they are Christians and will attend any church events going on everywhere. Many say they are Christians yet live unfulfilled, anxious and discontent lives. Many say they are Christians yet are not sure they are saved or what they are saved for. There are numerous issues that bother very many professing Christians across the world, but is God for real?
God is real but humans have the problem of not seeking Him for the right reasons. 'Signing up' to Christianity and attending church meetings of all kinds for the purposes of satisfying some carnal appetite or in desperation for better financial or physical circumstances is NOT Christianity! The only valid reason for seeking the Lord is the desperate need for forgiveness and salvation; only then will we reap the benefits of being the children of God.
Every true believer is Spirit-filled, it is the gift of God to seal His own children. In this present age many are led to believe the Holy Spirit is an exclusive gift to those who lead alone, anyone who teaches such is a liar and a deceiver, and is absolutely devoid of the Holy Spirit. Across Africa and around the world many atrocities are performed in groups that claim to be churches, which blaspheme the Holy Spirit whom they lie is working through them. Believing such lies will only lead to eternal hell as unbelief in God's truth.
How do we then identify the true from the false? This sermon is purposed to bring enlightenment into the works of the Holy Spirit and the identification of His presence in a person.
The Holy Spirit of God with whom true believers are sealed for the day of our final redemption is sadly the most blasphemed member of the Holy Trinity. Many foolish words and evil works are credited to Him by ignorant or blatant liars to mislead people and in an attempt to lend some authentication to their mission or standing. These dreadful sins will not go unpunished however, according to our Lord Jesus Christ.
A lot of this evil is derived from the teaching of false teachers who have been thrown in the church space by the prince of lies himself, Satan. Their purpose, words and works are to mislead as many as possible all the way to eternal damnation. This sermon points out the evil of the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit according to the written Scriptures, and everyone will do well to take these truths to heart and obey them.
For some inexplicable reason people tend to have expectations of better living circumstances as they enter into a new year. Tragically and particularly in the African brand of Christianity, which is completely foreign to biblical Christianity, so-called pastors and leaders take advantage of this irrational thinking process to abuse the finances of their followers. They encourage people to engage in several days of fasting and prayers, a lot of financial covenants and seed-sowing, to usher in a more financially prosperous new year, which they lie that the Lord has promised.
Is God concerned about our financial status in any one year as He is about our spiritual well-being on each and every day?
As can be expected the people end up living in anxiety and dissatisfaction through the year, not receiving the said promises from God while continuing to relentlessly sow financial seeds as prescribed by their cunning and fraudulent leaders all year long; the leaders get richer through the year and the followers either lose what they have or remain discontent with what they do have. At the end of the year into the next year, the cycle of foolishness is restarted! They are all driven by the same sense of greed, leader and followers alike.
There is a more excellent way to live before God that gives perpetual joy and peace, enables us to live content and fulfilling lives in Godliness. Nothing can be more satisfying. This is what this series of sermons aims to enlighten and encourage the children of God to do.
It is a very sad situation that the Name above all names, the only Name that can save, the only Name that can deliver and make life meaningful and worth living, the most glorious Name in all of creation in heaven and on earth; the Name of God, is spoken in irreverence in the world, and more disdaining, among professing believers. The misuse of the Name of God is only evidence of an absolute lack of knowledge of His majesty and person. Yet there are professing believers who wonder why their prayers go unnoticed and their lives remain chaotic. In this sermon we explore why this will be so until repentance is sought.
The Lord Jesus Christ came into the world as a man for one singular purpose: to propitiate for the sins of men and reconcile us to God the Father. He achieved that one goal by letting Himself be crucified on a cross at Calvary, thereby paying the full and only acceptable price for the sins of men before God the Father. All who turn to Him are hence free to live apart from sin having been forgiven because of that once-for-all sacrifice.
It is disheartening to hear so-called Christians of the African race ignorantly and foolishly attempt to use the blood once-for-all shed for the remission of sins as a weapon against their imaginary or perceived enemies, and as some kind of incantation to ward off imagined evil. This not only evidences the ignorance of the ones chanting the 'blood of Jesus' flippantly and their false teachers, it is blasphemous against the majesty of our Lord and Saviour who is our God.
People who live in such ignorance clearly have no knowledge of the God they claim they serve, nor do they have any inheritance in His Kingdom.

As with the general Jewish public in the earthly days of our Lord Jesus Christ, so are most people of the world today still choosing rogues and villains over the Lord of life. Tragically this is happening is what is seen as the church today; people choosing to follow rogue preachers and false ministers because the Word of Christ are too hard for them to receive. They make the foolish choice at the expense of their souls, just like the blind Jews in the days of Jesus Christ.
Christianity is God's commanded way of life to all who would receive His grace and mercy through the atoning sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. It is not a social hub put together by any man or woman, for them to lord over and gather followers for themselves, establishing their own worship and setting themselves up as gods to be revered. Many professing Christians fall into this trap and the eventual consequence will be eternal hell.
For the protection of His own our Lord Jesus Christ gave us many warnings and signs to look out for in identifying servants of Satan who masquerade as servants of God. To ignore the warnings of the Lord is an indication of one who does NOT belong to Him no matter their profession.
It is apparent that most professing Christians believe the word of the men and women leading them over the Word of the Saviour and Lord who alone saves us. This is most evident across the African continent where the people seem to have created all kinds of 'Christianity' of their own, according to their own traditions and needs. The result of this is sheer idolatry and increasing godlessness and unholiness, being practised and cheered on by many who falsely believe they are saved, while regarding the eternal God and Saviour as a servant to their adopted earthly 'spiritual father and mother'.
The result of this is that far more people are headed for eternal hell than can be imagined, because they practised religion according to their own traditions and evil desires; not Christianity.
Many people go to church and claim they are Christians, but on their own terms; there is no obedience to the Word of the Lord or the Lord of the Word. Sadly such practice of vain religion will have eternal consequences on each individual. There is an ever-growing invasion of false teachers ministering to themselves in the church space today. This is not surprising as the Saviour and Lord Himself warned us, and His Apostles never tired of warning us.
Today, ear-tingling messages are preferred to the truth of God and too many people have chosen to walk by their own carnal instincts and desires and follow, even idolise false teachers due to their own greed and selfish ambition.
Such are not Christians and have no life in Christ nor a place in His eternal Kingdom.
God is holy, and He will can only be worshipped in an 'acceptable' manner. It is not all that people do in the name of worship that is acceptable to God hence the frustration of many professing believers who live in lack joy, discontent, anxiety, worry, fear and evident lack of blessings from God. God is not under obligation to receive just anything we offer Him according to our own design, He has stipulated clearly what constitutes acceptable worship before Him, and we will do well to obey.
This series hopes to clarity the true worship of God in different circumstances, so that the hearer may benefit from the beauty and blessedness of a true relationship with God.
lifestyle of daily walk with God. When the children of God meet together to have fellowship, indeed we worship our God and Saviour collectively giving thanks and proclaiming His beauty, and building one another up with His Word.
Worship does not start there, nor does it end there. We are not born again until we are worshippers in spirit and in truth; the worshippers the Father seeks. At the unprecedented time in the world where congregation of any kind is presently forbidden, the true worshippers know themselves. Indeed, the congregation of Christians may well become prohibited permanently in the future as the world grows in its hatred for the Christ, how will believers fare then?
Jesus Christ is the only Deliverer and Saviour given unto mankind from God the Father. For our deliverance from sin and evil He game Himself to death on a cross to pay for our redemption. Just before His final breath as a man, as He hanged on the cross at Calvary, He declared "It is finished." The work of our deliverance had been finished; there is no aspect of our salvation that was left undone by the Lord Himself, nor did He subordinate any part of His work of salvation to any human to complete. Our only duty is to proclaim that gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, His incarnation, death and resurrection. Whosoever would believe would be saved, and their salvation and deliverance is perfected by that one-time atoning sacrifice.
Today we have a lot of charlatans and evil men and women claiming they need to and are delivering fellow humans from the hold of the devil and all sorts of daft ideologies with which they deceive the undiscerning. So much evil is carried out under the guise of such 'deliverance'. Unfortunately these evil people who are themselves in bondage to demonic spirits, do nothing but alienate their victims from the only Saviour and Deliverer they so desperately need!
The days are evil and fearful for the world; everything mankind trusted in is failing them at this time and there is panic, anxiety, worry and fear all around a world that despises its Creator. What are believers to do at this time? Many professing believers are in the same panic as the perishing world of the unbelieving, because they do not know the God they profess to worship and as such have no identity in Him. The Lord Jesus Christ stated plainly that His sheep know His voice and follow Him, and they will not listen to the voice of the impostor, but will walk away from them. This is not the time to uphold false ministers because of the empty promises they make, those promises continue to fail and souls are perishing.
This is the time to know if you indeed belong to the Lord of life.

Superficial Christianity has no identity in Christ!
Restless and miserable Christians are a contradiction in terms because in Christ we have fullness of joy, contentment and peace. People who seek Christ for selfish reasons and personal gain do not find Him, so they trust in the deceiving words of the multitude of lying prophets and pastors who have infiltrated the world. Those evil men and women consume them as meat, but they still will not learn, because they do not know the voice of the Good Shepherd.
It is ordained for believers to suffer for our faith in Christ Jesus, He suffered for our sakes. Whereas we don't suffer to receive His salvation, we will suffer because we have received His salvation. Many Africans are led to believe that Christianity is a life of bliss and earthly abundance and they profess the faith expecting God to deliver in line with their false teachers' empty promises. But the Word of God is truth; trials attest to the sincerity or otherwise of our professed faith in God.
There is a major difference between trial and temptation; the difference is what determines whether we are true Christians or merely talkers. The difference will have eternal reward or consequences. God permits trials to happen to His children for a good purpose, but temptation is from the evil one. How do we know the difference?
It is a very disheartening sight to see professing Christians who live such unhappy miserable lives as even the unbelievers do not live. They run back and forth trying to find someone to help them through any kind of suffering, they don't believe they should have difficulties in life because they are Christians. This false belief system and lack of faith in God has promoted the army of charlatans who have taken over what is considered to be Christianity across the world, but in Africa and the third world in particular.
The people are taught that suffering at all levels must not be a part of their lives because they are the children of God. They therefore throw themselves at the mercy of the false prophets and fake ministers to claim they can get them victory and 'deliver' them from every trial. Such action which is usually futile, is never for nothing; they people are not only alienated from God and His blessings, but robbed of their money and material acquisitions too.
But what does the Lord our God tell us about suffering?
Most Africans are in the church for the wrong reasons of self-interest. However, the Church of Christ is a collection of people belonging to God for the purposes of bringing God the glory He alone deserves. As with the foolish virgins in the Lord's parable in Matthew 25: 1-13, many people are in the Church who have no interest in Christ or His return, nor are they prepared to meet Him in death, they are actually terrified of death. This episode of the series 'Fairweather Christians' is aimed at highlighting the purpose of the Church, the only acceptable worship before the Lord.
The end of all things is near; we see an escalating rate of natural disasters in the world, unrest everywhere, and the decline of society, moral values and family life...all as foretold by the Lord of life. The Church of God is the only source of truth, with the purpose of preparing a people for God to be with Him for eternity. But the picture we see of what is generally portrayed as the church today is grim and absolutely far removed from the purpose for which Christ established His Church. However, it is well with the Lord's own Church which remains strong, powerful and clean. The question to each professing Christian is: "To which church do you belong?"
The people of the world hunger and thirst for greatness, mostly to satisfy their selfish ego and pride. It is a sad thing when professing Christians to hunger and thirst for the same thing, and are being led by so-called ministers of God to do exactly that! What amounts to greatness in the eyes of the world apart from the will of God, is foolishness in the eyes of God. In this sermon we learn what exactly God considers to be 'greatness' which those who belong to Him must necessarily aspire to attain.
Religious Christians believe a new year must necessarily bring new blessings to them, faithful Christians know better than that. False teachers use the opportunity of a new year to fleece their followers dry, with fake promises supposedly from God and false prophecies from their own evil imaginations; but the greedy and deluded love it so.
God does bless His children daily, not because it is a new year (it is not a new year in Heaven!), but because of their relationship with Him and obedience to His commands.
Miracle-hunting fools ought to repent of their sin of Godlessness, greed and the idolatry of loving their 'pastor' and his/her fake proclamations instead of the living Word of God. They find themselves lapping up the same deceptions every new year yet they continue to follow the liars like brainwashed 'goats'!
Most people in the world are discontent about their life circumstances. Many spend their lives running around, stressing themselves out trying to meet their carnal needs in a bid to find contentment. But for believers only one discontent is allowed; we cannot be content with seeing Godlessness on the rise and all around us. We must crave righteousness, and to see the peoples honour the Lord Jesus Christ as they ought to because He is Lord and God of all!
How do we separate ourselves from the foolish chase of the world, and unto God?
Every believer has an obligation to test and assess any man (or woman) who claims to be a servant of God. This is because the enemy of our souls, Satan, has infiltrated the church in the world in order to bring the way of truth into disrepute, deceive many all the way to hell in eternal judgement of God, and abuse and destroy many lives to turn them away from God even while they are in the world.
God has always had a holy standard for His servants and those standards are timeless, never been watered down, so that believers will not be deceived. In this teaching I seek to point out the biblical profile that every servant of God has always, and must always, possess. Any professing servant that does not match up to the biblical characteristics of God's called and used servants in the Holy Bible must simply and expediently be rejected regardless of any claims they make or the number of their followers.
People thoughtlessly believe and follow any person, male or female, that accord themselves the title 'pastor', regardless of their usually proud and boastful attitude in all ignorance of the truth of God. Many atrocities are performed by these unsanctified men and women, bringing the way of truth into disrepute as the Scriptures warned will happen.
Are believers expected to be complicit in this matter and just let the charlatans run with their game while sending many unsuspecting souls to hell? Does the Cross and suffering of Christ not mean enough for us to fight for the honour of His glorious Name? Does the love of God in our hearts not compel us to at least try to snatch others out of the fire of hell?
Most so-called servants of God in this age are self-appointed, serving Satan just for the selfish purpose of enriching themselves, gaining followers for themselves or simply binding people up for the devil!
5 out of 7 churches in the first century to whom the Lord of the Church sent messages through John the Apostle, failed woefully in their loyalty to Him, the Head of the Church. This was not because they were not gathering as the church but because their gatherings were not in line with the Lord's requirements, they had embraced all kinds of sin and other doctrines which were not from the Holy Spirit.
The Lord warned them that unless they recanted on all the evil goings they considered acceptable worship of Him, they faced disqualification. It is the members that make up a church, not the building! Today the situation of evil in our midst, idolatry and the doctrines of demons has become an even greater problem than in the first century. The saints have permitted evil men and women to thrive in the name of the church, who have corrupted the Way of truth and brought much blasphemy against the holy God, and disrepute to the holy Name of the Lord.
Will the saints continue to let the evil servants of Lucifer continue to devour the people as meat and bring dishonour to the faith? We are called to righteous judgement, not complacency!
We are in very dangerous and in fact, deadly times. It is not about the terrorist problems, nor climate change, nor carbon emissions, nor homicides. These in their worst cases can only destroy the body. The most important problem the world faces is that of the death of the soul for all eternity.
Africa and the African circle around the world is plagued with fake spiritual leaders running fake 'churches', offering people if they even bother, a false salvation. These are agents of Satan the enemy of our souls, disguised for the purpose to simply steal, kill and destroy.
Nobody needs to suffer in their hands because God in His mercy has provided us with more than enough warnings in and protection in His Word to keep us from all evil.
But how many people are discerning enough to heed these invaluable warnings?
Identifying the true and rejecting the false. The days are turning more evil and the world is spiralling towards the end of all things, as God's wrath is unleashed upon it, people need to turn to the Saviour Jesus Christ urgently. However, the spathe of false ministers of God assigned by Satan to oppose this very purpose is at an alarming high. Most people across Africa are in evil cults but think they are in the Church of God. There is a dire need for the faithful believers to stand up for the truth, expose lies and deceivers, in a sincere effort to open the eyes of the spiritually blind who in their desperation, are held captive to the devil.
Mankind is filled with thoughts of how to surpass the next person, in importance, wealth, riches, power, presence, status, and all other things that they eventually find do not satisfy. Most people think if they only had all the wealth and riches in the world, they would be happy forever, the human 'rat race'! However, daily news of the suicides, depression, drug and alcohol addiction, mental health issues and anxiety of the rich and famous confirm otherwise; these worldly attractions do not make life worth living.
Christians have been called to a higher life in Christ Jesus. A life where wealth and riches, power and worldly achievements have no relevance, and everyone is equal in a beautiful way as children of the most high God. It is a tragedy when professing Christians are in the same waste of life rat race as the ungodly, thereby reducing themselves back to the poor quality of life from which they were delivered in the first place. This is the purpose of false teaching, to make people doubt the Word, promises and sovereignty of God, and as such fall back from desiring Christ Jesus and His salvation.
God is very benevolent, so much so that He has provided for all of His creation from the very beginning of creation. Everything we have and are have come from God because without Him we can do nothing. He alone gives us the ability to work and create wealth, and provides the means to that end.
God cares for us, we are expected to care for others too from the provision He makes for us. Sadly many people in the church today are encouraged to give in order to receive more from God, a very evil and wrong motive for giving. If we are not able to share what God has mercifully and benevolently placed in our hands, how can we expect Him to continue to give to us for selfish reasons.
We are recipients of God's grace and mercy, we are expected to give back as much as we have received in the same spirit of love.

We are inundated with evil men and women today who have and are setting up their own so-called 'church' groups, leading people to hell with false teachings, crazy prophecies and wholesale deception. Satan has been in the business of trying to destroy the Church of God from its inception, but the reason the Son of God came was to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3: 8b). Some of these false prophets practice all kinds of witchcraft in their 'churches' and gather tens of thousands of undiscerning followers who are desperate for better living circumstances, better finances, better health and all kinds of normal problems that are common to mankind. A person who believes a fellow human can give to them what God has not given to them for reasons best known to Him, stands condemned already and is ready ground for Satan's deception. Satan's only purpose in the world is to steal, kill and destroy.
It is time to resist false prophets and flush them out of what is seen the world as the 'church', because the Church of God is pure and chaste, and we must uphold the honour of the Lord of the Church and defend His holy Name.
The days are evil and getting worse. Every evil activity practiced by man is now endorsed as evil. As believers we are not and should not be surprised because this is biblical prophesy coming to life in our lifetime. As saddening as the state of the world and its godless inhabitants may be, believers have cause to rejoice because the more the evil, the nearer the return of our victorious and glorious Lord Jesus Christ!
Unfortunately, not many professing believers even recognise the signs of the endtimes as given in the infallible Word of God, they follow the mad trend of the world and embrace all that society throws at them, to their own detriment.
There is a foolish mindset that operates in the minds of the majority of the inhabitants of the world; that a new year will bring them new opportunities and 'goodies' they have always lusted after. Year after year they hold on to the foolish belief even though they are disappointed yearly. It is understandable when the ungodly reason like that, but when professing Christians follow the same belief system, it is a tragedy. The leaders who promote such vain teachings do not have the things of God in mind, they deceive the people just to enrich themselves; making false promises and giving false prophecies that God has neither promised nor intends to honour.
Rather, it is more fruitful for us at any time and all times, to seek first the things pertaining to righteousness and holiness before God in obedience, and all other needs of ours He will meet.
In traditional churches Easter is treated as a time of certain religious exercises, that can be really futile. In some other kinds of churches it is observed as a period of some pomp and pageantry. In the secular world it is treated as a time of free holiday and overindulgence in chocolates and other empty celebrations.
The Easter message is about God and His mercy and grace on a sinful world, and anyone who misses the message stands condemned already, but the one who embraces it will receive forgiveness and salvation.

The holy Scriptures are full of doctrines that we must follow in order to mature in our walk with God and our knowledge of Him. Then and only then can we live in the fullness of life given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ. Unfortunately many people though professing to be believers, are choosing to believe the devil's lies on most pulpits today that encourage them to try and get the very best of the material world for themselves because they are children of God. This poisonous teaching will only result in eternal damnation for those who follow it.
In these days of our inundation with charlatans in the guise of pastors and all manner of servants of God, the end of the year is a time when people are dreadfully brainwashed into parting with their money, possessions, senses and indeed their souls. People are deceived into believing that as we approach a new year, their material position must improve, God 'wants' to do new things in their financial lives and take them to higher levels of prosperity. Nothing is further from the truth!
The matter of the true Gospel of Christ Jesus is put to the side and another gospel, which is not one at all, is proclaimed. People are encouraged to love and embrace the world, in contradiction to God's holy command to forsake the world and embrace heaven. A lot of discernment is called for at a time like this when phoney pastors take the unsuspecting and undiscerning but anxious congregants for all that they have worked to earn by the providence of God, whilst enriching themselves and living in opulence. They rob their followers and deceive them with lies about impending miracles to which they must look forward.
Salvation is a call to discipleship. We are saved by God's grace according to His glorious will for His purposes; it is an amazing privilege to each person saved. We will be the ones to live eternally in the presence of His utmost majesty, pleasing Him and living in the perfect beauty of holiness. While we remain in the world we must necessarily live as though we were in the presence of God already, because we are! We are called to separate ourselves from the world and forsake all things worldly to which we held, both physically and mentally before receiving our divine call to salvation and sonship. Many people would like to be Christian because of the benefits they hear are available in faith, but they are not willing to forsake their worldly way of life, not those things which they treasure in the world. However, our greatest treasure in the world as believers, must be the Lord Jesus Christ, for whom we must be willing to forsake EVERYTHING.
There are many weapons with which the enemy assaults the life of the believer, and sadly many are defeated or feel defeated under the circumstances. However, God has given us every spiritual weapon to win every battle and assault of the evil one, we just need to know what is available to us. We can and must win every battle, the victory is already ours in Christ Jesus, but we must take our stand in the battle and not collapse under the intimidation and empty threats of the enemy of our souls.

The Lord Jesus Christ said in John 10: 10 that He came to give us life and that in abundance. This not only implies unending life in His salvation, but fullness of life even in a fallen world. Sadly many professing Christians do not seem to have the latter because they still have regrets, unforgiveness bitterness and all kinds of seeds that the devil sows in them to keep them from living fully for God and enjoying Him as they should. This of course is just another one of the enemy's tactics for discouraging believers when he can.
The Lord Jesus Christ makes it very clear in John 15 that without Him we can do nothing. He insists we must abide (remain) in Him otherwise we would be fruitless and useless to His calling and the purpose of God. Abiding in Christ means walking in obedience to Him in everything and in every circumstance.
The collection of false teachers that have taken over what is seen by many as the church these days lead the undiscerning people in the opposite direction to the Word of the Saviour. They preach dependence on them as servants of God, produce many useless self-help books and teachings that will only facilitate the infiltration of demonic spirits into the hearts of their followers. Such people are cut off from God and His Kingdom, and unless they repent, will be eternally cut off and condemned to hell.
We have all lived sinfully, we still make mistakes sometimes. However, Christians have been saved from their sinful lives and forgiven, and we are expected to live apart from sin from then on, but sometimes we still sin. We are not expected as children of God to continue in sin however, and are called to continual repentance when we do until we are able to live the holy lives to which we have been called. It is improper for a professing believer to continue living in sin remorselessly, or consider that their sin is too grievous for forgiveness. We have a loving Saviour who is always willing to forgive and give us a fresh start to live right for Him.
The holy Scriptures are full of God's signs to us in relation to the rewards of Godliness and the wrath of God upon the sinful. While the ungodly people of the world and those in bondage in false religions may not know the Word of God and therefore are perplexed about the state of the world, believers have no excuse as to ignorance of the state of the world however pitiful. The wrath of God has been unleashed on the sinful world but believers should not be distressed by this as it only indicates the imminent return of our glorious Lord and Saviour.
Many are disappointed with life though professing Christ as Lord. Jesus Christ does provide His servants with satisfaction, peace and joy. When people place their trust in so-called servants of God they are destined for disillusionment and dissatisfaction because they have put their trust in man rather than in God; this is a curse according to the Word of God, but we are saved to live under God's blessings (5-8).
Many claim they are Christians but are not sure who will and who will not be in the Kingdom of God. But the Scriptures makes clear who the inheritors of the Kingdom are and we have been left in no darkness concerning this matter - the children of the Kingdom know themselves to be so. In this teaching we examine the Word of God for clarity on this matter.
Everybody wants to be blessed by God, but not everybody knows the God of the blessings. Liars and deceivers teach the ignorant that they can obtain God's blessings for them, but God's blessings are not obtainable from a man nor can they be paid for. In this episode I talk about how to live in the perpetual state of the blessedness of God.
During His earthly ministry our Lord Jesus Christ admonished us to be content and always put our trust in God our Father to give us what He has determined in good time. The Apostles carried on the same message. However, Satan has infiltrated the Church with false teachers who arouse the sense of greed, discontent and covetousness that is present in every person until brought under obedience to Christ.
Most fake pulpits in this generation encourage people to walk in direct disobedience to the Word of God by pursuing more and more of the things of the world, and not resting in contentment in their situations. They even make false promises for better and more materialistically abundant lives in the Name of God. God does not contradict Himself. These false teachers are leading people to eternal damnation since nobody who walks in disobedience to the Lord has any inheritance in Him. Their followers also suffer in the present life with anxiety, stress, worry, fear, depression and the like, whilst being robbed of the little they have by the lying prosperity preachers.
Christians across Africa are being held captive to the devil with many false teachings that can only lead to eternal judgement and hell. They are offered a false salvation at the cost of their livelihood and in useless religious practices. What do the holy Scriptures say about salvation? The inerrant and infallible Word of God is very clear on this matter and we only have to embrace the truth of God to be set free.
Modern day Christianity is mostly beginning to follow all kinds of religious trends led by men and women who have called themselves into the position of servants of God. They therefore have no anointing from the Lord of the Church to do the works He desires and as such they are self-styled in all sorts of ways that bring disrepute to the true Church of God. However, salvation is not determined by us and cannot be according to our dictates or preferences. Living as a Christian is a call from God to our conformity to the life of our Lord Jesus Christ as we grow daily in likeness to Him, in thought, word and deed. We can only live for Him in the power of the Holy Spirit, we cannot achieve it in our own strength. Christians should be therefore easy to identify; they are saved people who live for the glory of the Lord who paid their ransom on the cross as Calvary. The Church is not a social or religious entity but the gathering of the people of God in one mind and Spirit, for the purpose of bringing glory to the Saviour and Lord who bought them, and the Father in heaven who elected them for His great salvation.
To many professing Christians the Kingdom of Heaven is a place to aspire to get to after death, hence we hear many speaking of "making it to heaven". Nothing could be farther from the truth! The Kingdom of Heaven, sometimes referred to as the Kingdom of God, is here and now and has been since the coming of the Saviour Jesus Christ into the world. It is the rulership of God over our personal lives from the moment we come to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and salvation. We are forgiven and 'saved' from eternal judgement, and received into the Kingdom where we will be for eternity. Faithful disciples of the Lord are given the right to become sons of God (John 1: 12-13) and become citizens of His divine Kingdom. They live in that Kingdom presently in their new birth, living solely in the will of God through obedience to the only Saviour and Son of God, to the glory of God.
If we understood this biblical fact, we would live right in the sight of God as His people in this life as we look forward to the appearing of the Lord in His second coming to take His people Home, and God's new creation of the new heavens and earth, the home of righteousness for eternity.
Those who do not understand this fact live in doubt of their salvation, hoping they can deliver enough works to be allowed into God's Kingdom at their death. This is a great deception of the devil because no-one is saved by works however great they may seem in the eyes of the world (Ephesians 2: 8-9).

Many professing Christians live in doubt and discontent because of unanswered prayers; many have even come to the conclusion that God does not answer prayers as He used to in the holy Scriptures. Nothing can be farther from the truth, God still delights to answer the prayers of His children.
The question to ask ourselves in regard to unanswered prayers is: am I a child of God, and if so, am I living according to His will?
Evangelist Sarah Ajala-Immanuel
In 2 Timothy 2: 4-6 Paul the Apostle exhorts us to walk circumspectly as Christians, otherwise we deceive ourselves. Having received the mercy and grace of God we must be fully submitted to Him in all things; we don't make the rules He does. Tragically this age is inundated with angels of darkness disguised as angels of light who have introduced many destructive doctrines to the church, that can derail the undiscerning and unstable professing believer. These can have devastating effects on the victims. We continue in this series on Christianity looking at how to identify, refute and reject false doctrines.

Ever since the betrayal of the Lord Jesus Christ by the false disciple Judas Iscariot, that name has been seen as a curse to this day. However, many in the church today still bear his character, the 'fair weather disciples' of the Lord Jesus Christ who have no inheritance in the holy Kingdom of God, but they are deluded into believing they are Christians.
Christianity is not a blissful life of a walk in the park; it is a life of trials, temptations and tribulations that must be overcome by believers for their perfection. Much of what is seen as the church today is far from the true Church of God, and many souls are perishing because of the lack of truth.
Many prayers are said by almost everybody, not least of all believers in Christ Jesus; but not all prayers are delightful in the ears of God hence many are frustrated. We have the Word of God that He will answer us when we call to Him, so what is the problem?
Many come into the Church because they have been led to believe they can obtain a materially and physically better life that way. On the contrary, those who belong to the Lord have to give Him all of themselves, even unto death if necessary. The reward for being a faithful believer far supercedes any amount of material gain in the world.
As Christians we love because God first loved us, we give because God first gave us. No one can be a Christian until they are ready and willing to give their all back to the Redeemer; those who come to Christ just to receive a better life in the world are deluded and remain unsaved.
Christians are called to a joyful life because of what God has already done for us through the sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Satan wages wars consistently against believers to shake their faith in what Christ has achieved; total victory against Satan. Depression in a Christian is poor testimony of the joy of the Lord and we have no business entertaining it because we have every resource at our disposal for negating every attack of the devil.
There are many ways in which the devil attacks believers in order to rob them of their joy and destroy their testimony of the joy of salvation in Christ Jesus; depression is one of them. A Christian must not give way to depression because we have every resource in the Holy Spirit to remain joyful and in the peace of God.
Many professing Christians want a Saviour and not a Lord; this is impossible! If we are saved by Jesus Christ from the coming wrath of God and brought into the eternal Kingdom of God, we must be submitted to Him who redeemed us by His grace, and with His holy blood. We cannot continue to live foolishly as we did when we were steeped in sin and expect to be a citizen of the only infallible Kingdom for all eternity. Our salvation in Christ Jesus is free, but the cost of our eternal citizenship of His Kingdom is EVERYTHING!
Only in the Holy Bible does the God of all creation reveal Himself to mankind and affords us the priviledge of a personal and intimate relationship with Him. In order to bring back sinners into His divine peace and blessing, He came down to dwell on earth in the person of His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to be the propitiation for our sins, for nothing else could be acceptable to the holy God. Only a fool would shun this amazing grace and seek to find or reconcile with God through any other means.
Believers have a standing battle with Satan who desires to make us walk in disobedience and practice false religion, under a false salvation. Discernment of truth is of extreme importance for every believer in order to remain faithful and victorious to the end of our time in the world or the glorious return of our blessed Lord. These series of sermons highlight how to discern errors in the various teachings spread around the world of Christendom today.
The world sees Christianity as just another one of the religions in the world, sadly many professing Christians have the same view and as such never experience or enjoy the overwhelming joy of being a Christian. In this series we explore what Christianity really is and how a meaningful existence of man is fully dependent on it.
Depression should have no place in the life of the Christian; we have the author of life Himself inhabiting us as His temple. Depression will only find room in a heart not saturated with the rich and infallible Word of the living God. These series of sermons address and instruct on how to reject the lies of Satan and avoid depression.
Many kinds of 'prayers' are offered up to God, most of them go unanswered and people are frustrated. What kind of prayers really delight God and receive answers from Him? This issue is explored in this series of sermons to help believers touch the heart of God with their prayers.
Understanding the armour of God believers are supposed to wear and keep on in the spiritual battle against sin, without which we cannot stand the wiles of the devil.
The deceitful misrepresentation of spiritual warfare and spiritual attack leave most professing believers defeated already. We have biblical counsel on this matter however, and must be discerning of Satan's craftiness to deceive us into fighting the wrong war.
Spiritual warfare is to be expected in the life of every believer, but many professing believers are defeated already and being defeated because they have not followed the biblical concept of spiritual warfare, rather following heresies and ideologies of man. These series of messages aims to dispel the lies that actually serve to hold people in bondage to the devil while deceiving them into thinking they are winning against Satan.

There are many deceptive teachings and philosophies by which seekers are held captive by Satan through false teachers. Convincing people they are suffering from the sins and curses of their ancestors even though they are believers in Jesus Christ is one such lie. Such notions are sold to the people to hold them under the control of the lying minister. This sermon examines what the living Word of God says about the matter.
Every end of year an inordinate number of professing African Christians throng to places set up by false teachers and nicknamed 'church' to involve themselves in all kinds of deceptive teachings and false prophecies supposedly from God in order to receive an abundance of wealth in the new year. At the end of all the 'Crossover' events they are dispossessed of all their money and paid back with false promises instead. Throughout the year the people remain anxious for the delivery of the promised 'breakthroughs' and 'miracles' and are deceived into parting with more money...until the next spectacular crusade at the end of the year, when the vicious cycle of deception is started afresh. It is time to reject false teachings and seek the right things from God.
Satan's determination to mislead seekers and believers through false religion must be frustrated with the truth of God's living Word. As good and comforting as false doctrines may sound, they have eternal damning consequences of hell for the followers of such doctrines of demons.
Most professing African Christians have been overtaken by false teachings and a false salvation, and are perishing even though they believe they are saved. We are only saved through faith in Christ Jesus alone, not in pastors or any other self-styled and self-appointed ministers of God.
Satan has an army of agents in the church today falsely seen as pastors, preachers and teachers. Their teachings are deadly dangerous as their only purpose is to mislead the undiscerning with false salvation, while tying them in bondage to the kingdom of darkness. Believers must be very alert and these series of teachings points to areas where faithful believers must avoid.
Continuing in the series identifying false teaching and studying the biblical warnings against them. False servants of God are only self-seeking and have no interest in the salvation of their own souls let alone that of others, their listeners are victims in their world of deception.
The danger of false teaching cannot be underestimated because it can have eternally damning consequences if the hearers are not rescued by the truth. Unfortunately false teachings abound today as many false teachers in the guise of ministers of God have infiltrated the world of Christianity. Believers must be discerning and know how to recognise the disguised angels of darkness.
Christmas is a special season that believers celebrate the incarnation of God and take opportunity to tell the world the good news of the Gospel of Christ Jesus. However, majority of the world get involved in Christmas celebrations without real appreciation of God's grace and gift of peace and joy, they continue in misery...but it doesn't have to be that way. Every person can have real reason to really celebrate Christmas!
As another year draws to an end on earth, the excitement is growing in churches of the false teachers who will embark on a dreadful assault on their unsuspecting followers with false promises supposedly from God, in order to enrich themselves. This teaching highlights how to identify falsehood.
The most loving God who delivered us from sin and death through the gift of His only begotten Son, has not left us alone to work out how to live for Him. He has given us His inerrant and infallible Word through His Holy Spirit to nurture and guide us through life.
We have every resource we need for a joyful and peaceful life in His Word, yet many professing believers live in worry and discontent. This should not be so.
The battle for truth in Christianity is a relentless one and must be fought by every faithful believer. False religion is Satan's greatest weapon against the souls of men.
Satan's determination to mislead seekers and believers through false religion must be frustrated with the truth of God's living Word. As good and comforting as false doctrines may sound, they have eternal damning consequences of hell for the followers of such doctrines of demons.
Times are getting really difficult for Christianity today; we have the enemy outside the Church, which is the unbelieving world, but even more dangerous is the enemy within, the false ministers, agents of Satan posing as mouthpieces for God! Souls are seeking because of false salvation under the delusion of easy-believism and doctrines of demons.
There is an urgent need for the saints to arm ourselves with the truth of God, the only message of the Gospel of Christ Jesus; only in that is there salvation and true freedom from sin, judgement and hell. Every believer is under obligation to call our neighbours out of the darkness and into God's glorious light; it is not the time for us to sit in complicity celebrating our personal salvation while watching others perish.
We must attack falsehood in the Church!

Contrary to a lot of popular teaching today, the way of life of Christianity is marked with suffering at various levels in a world that hates God, and as a consequence His children. We are required to stand firm in the battle however, until we are called home or until our glorious Saviour returns to the world to bring all things to an end.
These series of teaching are to prepare and encourage believers in what to expect from a dying world, and rejoice in the victory already won for us on the cross at Calvary by our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Our Lord Jesus Christ teaches in John 15: 1-11, that if we love Him we would abide in Him, apart from Him we can do nothing. But if we abide in Him we will be nurtured by the Father and will bear much fruit, showing ourselves to be His disciples. Unfortunately when we follow the teachings of demonic spirits disguised as angels of light, we will not be abiding in Christ, will be fruitless, not fit for purpose and abandoned; there is no true salvation in that. Following other teachings because they are more appealing to our carnal appetites is a betrayal of the Lord Jesus Christ who paid the sin debt of every person who would come to Him - the consequences will be devastating. These sermons aim to help believers and seekers understand what it means to abide as branches of the ONLY true vine - Jesus Christ.
There is a severe lack of discernment in the Church today. Many 'wolves in sheep's clothing' as the Lord referred to them, have entered what can be called Christendom, spreading teachings that serve to alienate people from God through false belief and idolatry. The consequences of a false salvation and living under false teachings will be devastating for those who are caught up in them. African Christianity in particular is rife with falsehood as cultists and witch-doctors now disguise themselves as ministers of God, propagating their evil. These series of sermons are to help believers and seekers of God identify the false while learning the truth of God.

All kinds of messages come out of various pulpits of the 'church' today. The variations can be alarming sometimes. But there is only ONE message that the Lord of the Church sent His servants with; the message of salvation by Jesus Christ through His death on the Cross and His resurrection. The true Gospel of Jesus Christ embarrasses mankind and where it penetrates the heart, brings shame, repentance and humbleness; it leads to salvation. The other 'gospels' bring excitement, greed, discontent, anxiety, idolatry and every kind of lust; they lead to death! Most people love the other gospels and unless and until they repent, will end up in eternal judgement in hell. These series highlight the difference between God's message and Satan's messages sent through his disguised angels of darkness who pretend to be servants of God. They will also edify the faithful believer and strengthen them in the life of Christianity.
Many people are desperate for healing from various sicknesses and diseases, it is understandable. However, many are being taken advantage of by religious charlatans because of their desperation. The holy scriptures do teach that the Lord Jesus took away our infirmities, and by His stripes we are healed; but there is much more to His purpose than mere earthly sicknesses - He addressed the issue of our spiritual malaise, which is of eternal value. Understanding the healing that comes through Christ Jesus gives us perfect healing!

An incredible lot of what is offered across Africa as Christian worship is nothing more than cult gatherings to honour the leader and polish the egos of the worshippers, much of it is mere entertainment. The leaders are put in the place of God and indeed demand such reverence. The followers obey blindly believing God has given such powers and authority to their leaders who can turn their lives around for good.
The purpose of Christian teaching is to help believers grow in Christlikeness, and attain more and more to the status of who we have been called to be; children of God, a holy nation, heirs of the Kingdom of God (Romans 8: 28-30). On offer today across the world, and in particular in Africa and America, is the worship of the self where all teachings pertain to personal desires and achievements. Such teachings are false and stand against everything that the Word of God commands, and ultimately destroys its followers.
As we see the wrath of God being unleashed on the world; famines, droughts, floods, earthquakes, wars, oppression, sexual perversion and gross immorality being endorsed as 'rights'; it is time for professing believers to stand firm in the battle for God's glory. The battlefield is not the world as it is the Church, where Satan has infiltrated with unbelievable falsehood, deceiving many with false salvation and leading them in procession to damnation in hell. These sermons have the purpose of exposing the antics of the devil and identifying the Church of God.

Satan has established many gatherings that call themselves 'church'. Attendance of these so-called churches is bondage to the devil as the truth of God is maligned and manipulated. Seekers of salvation need to be aware of this major falsehood that has the eventual consequence of eternal hell for the unsaved. This series of sermons are aimed at unveiling the counterfeits and guiding believers and seekers in the way of truth and growth in faithful relationship with Christ the Lord.
A series of sermons identifying the problems of apostasy and falsehood in what is generally seen as the Christian Church today. The New Testament is full of warnings about the coming of the anti-Christ through various means to attack the Church of Christ and believers. Sadly these warnings have been clearly ignored by most professing Christians in this age and Satan is doing a great job of establishing false churches, false servants and false doctrines. As the true Church looks forward to the appearing of our Lord, it is time for every faithful believer to arise from slumber and stand firm in the battle for the honour and glory of our Saviour and God.

Exploring what it is that makes a true Church of God in view of all the 'church' types across the world, and the apparent failure of Christianity to represent what faith in Jesus Christ really is.
Many believe they are Christians because they attend one kind of church or the other, but is this really the case, that church attendance makes a Christian?
There are many ideas of what the Church is today and as such many are under a delusion that they are Christians because they show up regularly or on special occasions at some building. But the Church of God is not a building so designated, but the people chosen by God who congregate to the glory of Christ. This continuing series attempts to correct the world belief of what the Church is and hopefully point the seeking in the right direction to salvation through the only Saviour, Jesus Christ.
The world looks at the Church and speak derogatorily about Christians and worse still, about or Lord, simply to excuse and justify their own unbelief. The early Christians were known and respected for their outstanding character - what has changed today to bring the way of truth into such disrepute?
Continuing in the examination of what the Church of God is not, given the various kinds of groups with that title in across the world. The Lord set His standards for His Church and we as worshippers have no business setting up what we think He ought to accept from us!
Many groups today, small and large call themselves 'church' but most do not represent the Church of God, nor do they uphold the truth and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church. Numerous people are members of these groups who falsely believe they are saved members of the Church of God, but is this really the case? Many walk in ignorance that could be ultimately fatal. This episode gives examples of practices and signs of a Godless church masking as true.
There are serious problems with Christianity in Africa and Africans worldwide. Most professing believers do not know whether they are saved or not, nor can they express what it means to be saved. False teaching and deception has overtaken the Continent and its people in every corner of the world. This series aims to expose the deception and falsehood through biblical truth, in order to bring as many as would receive the grace of God to true salvation in Jesus Christ.
Celebration of Christmas is a daily lifestyle for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, not just an occasional buzz period. The joy of salvation gives perpetual peace and strength for each day in the life of a disciple of the Lord. It is a free gift of God for anyone who would receive it!
