Introducing The Freenoter! There are lots of resources out there on how to become a paid speaker or keynoter, but what if you speak to build your business, as a FREEnoter? Each week, join Tamsen and Tom Webster as they cover all the angles of how to profit from speaking for free. If you are looking to grow your business from the stage--without "selling from the stage," this is the show for you. We will cover EVERY aspect of building your business through speaking, and even share a different craft cocktail recipe every week, just because.
On this episode, Tamsen and Tom revisit the COVIDCABANA and look at how to adapt your content to the virtual world now that we have no stages to speak from! We will look at how the very talented Vinh Giang has upped his virtual game and evolved his offerings, and we will celebrate the beaches we aren't visiting with a refreshing Mojito.

Muddle 8-10 mint leaves with a tablespoon of simple syrup at the bottom of a highball glass. Fill with ice, and add 1.5 oz. of rum unless you are still in quarantine, in which case go on ahead and double that. Top with soda water. Muy refrescante.

The Tipperary:
1 1/2 oz good Irish Whiskey (we used Powers Johns Lane 12 Year) 1 oz. Antica Carpano 1/2 oz. Green Chartreuse 2 dashes each of Angostura and Orange bitters.
Stir over ice and let sit a bit while you peel the rind from an orange and squeeze it to express the oil from the rind over the glass. Strain cocktail into glass and float down the Liffey.

Our Sazerac:
Pour 1 tsp simple syrup into a glass. Add 4 dashes of Peychaud's bitters and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Add 2 oz. rye (we used Templeton). Fill glass with ice and stir a few times.
In another (cold) glass, add a teaspoon of absinthe (you could substitute Pernod here--we used Kübler Verte Suisse, which could take the chrome off a bumper.) Swirl to coat the inside of the glass completely; dump out the remaining liquid.
Strain the cocktail from glass one into glass two. Add a lemon twist. Enjoy responsibly--this one's potent!

Place a brown/demerara sugar cube in a champagne flute. Soak cube in Angostura bitters. Fill flute with champagne/prosecco. Garnish with a citrus twist. For an extra kick, add an ounce of cognac.
