In part 2 of The Greatness Series, I discuss the 4 things that I think make a great team.

After beginning to read Game Changer by Fergus Connolly, I begin to realize that what makes a team great isn't just what occurs on the field. It transcends beyond the physical and finds itself in the core of the team as a unit.

What does a team stand for? How do they exemplify their beliefs? Will they crumble after temporary defeat?

Tune in to listen to what I think.

Tap in next Tuesday for the last part of the series, Part 3: What makes a great program/organization?

On this episode, I reflect back on my first year of entrepreneurship.

In 2019 I embarked on a journey to financial and time freedom. I didn't want to be the typical broke college student(-athlete). I wanted change. It wasn't until I found a strong community of like-minded individuals that I began to realize the possibilities available for me and my future.

However, as I began to have these grand ideas, I was missing something important.

Tune in all the way to the end of the episode to get access to a free digital copy of the Not Your Typical Planner for a limited time only.

This episode is a bit different. It is a live recording of my livestream I did last Tuesday where I discussed some of the things I witnessed over the weekend at an all girls showcase tournament.  As we all know, youth soccer (and, soccer in general) is evolving and players are getting more and more skilled as time progresses. The development and skill of youth players today is light years ahead of those before them.  However, during my time at the all girls showcase tournament, I realized that progress still needs to be made. I spent the weekend jotting down notes of things I noticed and could be improved.  I discuss the importance of warmups (incorporating the FIFA 11+), approaches to coaching at the youth level, the cause for the fear of failure, and more! You can catch Not Your Typical Tuesday livestreams every Tuesday at 7pm on my JFIT Athletic FB Page.  You can click the link below or type in jfitprept on FB.  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jfitprept/

Are you able to sit one out? As an athlete, we always want to be out on the field, court, or track doing what we love, but if the time came for you to sit one out, how would you react? On this episode, I discuss turning an unideal situation into a positive and how I learned a lesson from it.  Things don't always go as expected, and when they don't we, as players, have to train our mind and ourselves to see the positives instead of closing our mind off from all of the possibilities.
