The truth is based on facts and enables conversations and arguments revolving around all subjects of life, BUT, the concept of truth, as we know it is dead, or at least dying.
Truth has been challenged throughout history, from the days of Kain and Abel.
In recent years social media, and the democratization of content creation tools has put truth under more pressure, but still extensive massive truth manipulation required resources who can only be obtained by governments and large corporations.
All this changed with the introduction of generative AI. Tools like:
๐ฅ ChatGPT
๐ฅ Mijourney
๐ฅ Dall-e
๐ฅ Runway
Enables anyone to create highly realistic documents, images and videos of events and "facts" that never existed. This will practically enable anyone to create their own truth to promote any agenda.
You may think that there would be tools that would allow us to detect AI-generated content, but so far, these tools are falling short of being reliable. In the best-case scenario, there will be an arms-race between detection tools and manipulation tools, and the manipulation tools would always be ahead.
In this episode, you will learn more about the current AI tools, the capabilities they bring, and the implication it has on the concept of truth.

Why?
Because if your target audience, already trusts a specific person, and that person recommends your product or service, your business benefits from the trust they already earned.
Like any other marketing method, B2C has mastered it before B2B, but in the past few years, B2B brands are utilizing influencer marketing as well.

Your business isn't too small or unimportant for someone to spy on you. Sadly it is extremely easy to extract highly sensitive information from employees and co-workers.
Such information may include anything that your competition can use in order to have an unfair advantage over you - lists of clients, contracts, your pricing, your top talent compensation packages, budget, best marketing channels, etc.
Robert Kerbeck, spent years as a business spy, before he switched sides. He claims that in a few minutes he can find out all that information about almost any company with a few simple phone calls.
In this episodes he shares
๐ฅ The technics that can be used to extract such information

Being a guest on podcasts is becoming more and more popular. Multiple CEOs and business leaders are on a constant tour as podcast guests.
There are many benefits to being a guest on podcasts:
1. Reach new audiences - by leveraging the following the host already created you can reach a well-targeted audience
2. Become an authority in your industry
3. Evangelize a unique POV
4. Provide your target audience with a new lense to view the world
5. Personalize the business - people want to do business with people not businesses
All of this sounds great and is achievable by being a guest on podcasts (and even more by having your own show (connect with me on LinkedIn and ask me how if you are curious).
But it only works if you have a clear strategy, and it can happen much faster and more effectively if you use specific proven tactics.
In this episode, we cover both the strategy and the tactics that can help you and your business make the most by being a guest on podcasts. The episode is based on a consulting session I recently gave a colleague

Did you know that research done by Sequoia Capital (one of the largest VCs in the world) predicts that ALL COMPUTER CODE and ALL BUSINESS CONTENT will be CREATED BY Ai by the YEAR 2030.
That is only 7 years away. anyone who is starting college right now, and learning any skills, is at risk of graduating 4 years from now with NO open jobs in their field. Not because of an economic downturn, but forever...
Ai is tasking a bigger part in every aspect of our lives and our businesses. While until just a few years ago, only giants like Amazon, Google, IBM and Facebook benefited from the amazing advantages Ai brings, Ai driven tools are now accessible to everyone on almost every aspect of running a business.
While that has been a clear trend for a few years, 2022 was a tipping point. First with the introduction or maturity of many tools, but mostly with the introduction of Chat GPT, Dall-e, Stable Difusion, and similar tools, that took the world by storm.
If you have never used any Ai tools, strap in, and get ready for a hell of a ride as this episode will blow your mind. If you have been using these tools, you would still gain a lot from this episode as we are covering many use cases that are possible today using such tools.

A deep understanding of your prospects' needs and the core problems they are experiencing is key to running a successful business.
In the previous episode (part I), we covered how to identify the value your clients and prospects are seeking.
In this episode (part II) we will dive into how to provide value to your clients and prospects on an ongoing basis, without breaking the bank or overwhelming your team.
90% of your addressable market is NOT "in market" right now. This means that if you are investing most of your marketing activities in people who are "in market" (capturing demand) you are missing out on the future 90% (generating demand).
And the way to generate demand in order to have an unfair advantage over your competition in the future is to provide value to the 90% right now, so they start identifying you as the ultimate expert in your field and the go-to solution in the future.
But how do you do that? this is exactly what we will cover in this episode. here are a few examples:
๐ฅ Direct and indirect ways to provide value to prospects ad clients
๐ฅ What is the best way to do that (SPOILER ALERT: a live virtual event on a regular cadence)
๐ฅ What is co-creation of value, why it is important, and how can create it?
๐ฅ What are the benefits of having your own show?
๐ฅ how to have a show that drives business results with limited resources

Capitalism has helped more people out of poverty than any other socio-economical system in history and it created the concept of a middle class, but it has passed its optimum point, and hence, will (eventually) transition into something else.
This is an unusual topic for this podcast, as it is more philosophical in nature, and it was born out of a fascinating conversation I had with the successful business leader Gabe Galvez.
The conversation was so interesting that I decided to share it as an episode of the podcast. I believe every business leader should be thinking about this topic, and do what she/he can to move the world in this direction.
We discussed topics such as:
๐ฅ What can be the next evolution of capitalism?
๐ฅ Why do we need it?
๐ฅ What are the "bad" symptoms of current capitalism?
๐ฅ What does history teach us on this topic?
๐ฅ What can business leaders do about it?

Running a successful business is about focus. There are always going to be a million things to take care of. That is true for every business owner and manager. Successful managers and leaders know how to focus on the right things, at the right time.
In this fascinating conversation, we are reviewing the F5 focus model, focusing on 5 areas of focus:
๐ฅ You (or the owner) - Don't focus on fulfillment but on high-value tasks
๐ฅ Business Model - simplify your business model. Do not offer everything to everyone. Picking the sweet spot based on past performance. Analyze success stories and focus on the top-performing option.
๐ฅ Operations - Do you have the right systems and team to create maximum efficiency?
๐ฅ Client Acquisition - How to leverage strategic alliances - one-to-many is the best way to grow. If you can connect with the right partners.
From there - define a results-based offer, and align the sales process to that. When you are selling results you can sell it at a higher price.
๐ฅ Scaling - once you have the foundations in place you can look at the numbers in a more detailed way. And find the right ways to reinvest the cash flow to generate faster growth.

Having the right people in the right seats of the bus is one of they keys to a success of a company. Don't take my word for it, just read Good to Great (Jim Collins) or Traction (Gino Wickman) ๐

Data collection and data analysis became the backbone of every successful business. But, in the craze for more data, and the endless number of tools that are available for data collection and analysis that exist today we became addicted to QUANTITATIVE DATA:
While qualitative data tells you what happened, it does not explain why it happened. You need to guess or assume that.
Qualitative data, on the other hand, can give you the answers to why things happen, which is a lot more critical in order to guide your future strategy.
This is a recorded FREE strategy session, in which we cover this critical topic. We also discuss, how to turn your audience into a community and gain a lot more benefits.

How do you determine the BEST type of content for your target audience?
I absolutely loved the answer Ashley Katzeff gave me during our interview:
In her opinion, focusing on the few leads to satisfaction for the many. Once you identify and build relationships with your super consumers and attend to their needs, chances are they will spread the word and more people will start watching.
Again, it boils down to the simple things:
1. Identify your biggest fans.
2. Build relationships.
3. Scale.
If you want to hear more of Ashley's thoughts on how to create a modern content-led community (did you know we also wrote a huge article on this? Link in the comments!), check out episode 153 of the Business Growth Accelerator Show!

Community has always been the main driving foce behind human innovation and perserverance.
Don't believe me? Here are a few examples:
Loneliness may be on the rise but so is community and if there's one thing history has taught us, it's that when things get tough, humanity gets together and figures it out.
If you want to hear more stories about community from the business world, check out my interview with David Siegel, the CEO of MeetUp on episode 151 of the Business Growth Accelerator Show!

There are two main ways people evaluate companies: Revenue and EBITDA.
Revenue is the money generated for a certain period of time (both profits and losses included)
EBITDA is an alternative for revenue that has been used widely in the past few decades to evaluate company performances.
Unfortunately, both methods can prove ineffective in forecasting which company will survive and which one won't for the simple fact that neither EBITDA nor Revenue takes into account long-term play, different companies, different accounting structures, etc.
So is there a third option out there? Are the two existing ways actually of any value for this new economic age that we're entering? Let's figure it out together on episode 148 of the Business Growth Accelerator Podcast!

Every business should have a podcast.
Here's why:
- It enables you to engage and educate your target audience like nothing else.
- It's a great way to develop relationships with both clients and thought leaders you admire.

If you're starting a community from scratch, lack of engagement is going to be the hardest problems you face at the beginning.
Here's how you solve community engagement:
- Realize that audience and community are not the same.ย
- Audiences are full of consumers that are there to just listen and consume your stuff.ย
- Communities are about co-creation. The members and the creator create value together and work toward a common goal. The creator is just the facilitator.
- Fall in love with data: Engagement of any kind and the lack of it can be solved through tracking the right metrics (what do members like, don't like, care about, etc.)
- Unfortunately, community data is a hard nut to crack. Every community is unique and has its own activities that produce the most ROI. Focus on them.

"The VC boom happening in the business world is not necessarily a good thing.
Nowadays, most businesses focus on getting the next big check from an accredited investor, thinking that's their ticket to success, ignoring reality.

Community is the real school of life.
The use cases for community vary but this is the one I like the most.ย
And it makes perfect sense when you think about it.

5 critical business goals that are well served by a community:
๐ย Immediate feedback loop for actual client's needs which informs new products / services / messaging
๐ย Educate your existing customers on how to use the product/service, dramatically reducing customer service calls
๐ย Building an army of fans and brand ambassadors.ย
๐ย Making newbies feel welcome and safe to ask questions.
๐ย Provide a source of inspiration for prospects to follow the path you want them to take.
๐ย Recusing CAC and increasing LTV based on all of the above.
The tricky part is how to balance between all of these when running a community, and how to keep it personal and engaging as you grow.ย
Rachel Silvano, the head of Zappier's community provides some great ideas on how to do so. such as:
๐ฅย Take into account the different stages of people in their buying journey
๐ฅย Take into account where users are in their users journey
๐ฅย Make it personal - don't be ""the company"" be you!

Did you know that the metaphor of a business funnel was coined in 1898? Yes, it's over 120 years old, and it'a about time we start looking at business engagements through more advanced lenses.
Funnels are a great tool to measure linear processes, and hence sales processes, BUT, human relationships and business relationships are NOT a linear process.
And since businesses are driven by relationships, we need a way to measure relationships.ย
Patrick Woods, CEO of Orbit, developed a way to do that. It is based on measuring the reach and the love of every person within your business community. YES - measuring love.
Patrick shares exactly how they are measuring these parameters, and how does it eventually feed the sales funnel!ย
Community creation is not just a hype, it is the only way, and the right way to overcome the saturation of digital marketing, and to go from being lead-gen focused to demand-gen focused.ย

All leaders (in politics AND in business) should be held accountable.
That's why I LOVED the idea of the accountability executive team Sam Rubin told me on our interview.
As entrepreneurs, we all need accountability teams. Teams that will be real with us and honest about our shortcomings.
Business owners who live in their heads and never seek foreign opinion won't survive in the long term because they are too busy thinking about how awesome they are and how genius their plan is.ย
But business is a game of realism. The sooner we realize it, the better solution and products we will offer.

AI will change everything... or not.
All of that talk about AI ending/changing the world is ridiculous, stupid, and unnecessary.
But the conspiracy theorists and futurists got one thing right: Some people should be afraid of AI.
But not the people you think.
The only group of humans who should be afraid of AI are the mediocre content creators/entrepreneurs plaguing Social Media and Google.ย
Because, unlike now, you wouldn't be able to cheat the algorithm with mediocre content and controversy.
What do you think? Will AI change the game for content creators, or is it just a nice addition to humanity's tech toolkit?ย
Let me know!
If you are a B2B company, not using LinkedIn is KILLING your growth potential.
Here's why:
Facebook is great but no business will ever share important information on it (such as profiles of key figures, gatekeepers, and investors). The case is the same for Instagram and Twitter.
LinkedIn, on the other hand, was SPECIFICALLY made for the business world (and the majority of its members are not assholes, like on Twitter!)
And it's just now beginning to tap into its hidden content creation potential.
Now is the time to create fortunes and make an impact on the platform.

Action and Self-awareness are part of the three components of entrepreneurship and sales.ย Filtering the best future clients out of your prospects has a lot to do with the expectations you set.
And it's not just about setting them too high or too low. The important thing is to remain realistic.ย
Just because a prospect can pay you a lot right away doesn't mean that they will be loyal to you in the long term. You need relationships, not just transactions.
Listen, I've made Relationship building my ethos, but I'm just as guilty of picking the unfit clients instead of the right ones. If you don't want to repeat my mistakes, tune in for my interview with Aleasha Bahr, as she will be revealing some of her best strategies on client filtering and relationship building in the sales and business world!

Live video content is the king of content creation! This is not an opinion but a fact. There are many reasons why. The first is that it is the closest thing to face to face human interaction. And at the end of the day we create content to influence people.ย
The 2nd reason is that from one piece of live video content you can generate dozens of pieces of content that you can publish across multiple channels. And if you do this right, one day of content creation can give you enough content for an entire month.
But, there is more... if you find a way to make your content fun and not just interesting, you can touch people in a totally different level. An amazing example of out-of-the-box thinking on live video content is the Facebook live game show Xs and Os.
