Forget everything you think you know about intuition. It's not just a quiet voice or an inner teacher—it's actually a dynamic, lifelong relationship with all the life force energy around you, a connection we can call an "intuitionship." This powerful relationship is unique to you, and the more you nurture it through listening, self-permission, and a mindset of peace, the stronger it becomes. Tune in to discover why developing this awareness isn't a mystical chore, but a joyful, empowering journey.
As a energy healer in integrative healthcare, Hilary Crowley challenges us to move past the idea of intuition as a mysterious skill and see it as a fundamental part of being alive. She argues that by strengthening this "intuitionship," we activate a boundless source of guidance, safety, and thriving. If you're ready to stop second-guessing yourself and start connecting to the vast, generous wisdom that's always been available, this episode is your key to unlocking a more fun, fearless, and whole version of yourself.

Hilary Crowley, host of "The Good Energy Healing Show," delves into Don Miguel Ruiz’s “The Four Agreements,” a book she’s studying with her "Good Energy Healing Club." Crowley highlights that "agreements" represent the countless beliefs and opinions that shape our reality, often "domesticating" us. She encourages listeners to identify these agreements, good or bad, in their own "dream of the mind."
The first agreement, "Be Impeccable with Your Word," means living without harming yourself, which inherently prevents harming others. This applies not only to spoken words but to every thought, as we live in a world of symbols and assigned meanings.
Crowley then connects this to the fourth agreement, "Always Do Your Best," explaining it's about continuous practice and striving. The opposite of doing your best isn't doing your worst, but simply doing what’s easiest, falling back into old patterns.
The second agreement, "Don't Take Anything Personally," is explored through the lens that everyone is the main character in their own story. This perspective, coupled with listening actively (a concept from Ruiz's "Fifth Agreement"), helps us avoid personalizing others' actions.
Finally, "Don't Make Assumptions" encourages curiosity. Crowley explains that we make assumptions to feel safe, even if the answers are incorrect. She advocates for assuming others are doing their best, a practice that fosters respect.
Crowley shares a personal example of worrying about baby loons, realizing she was overlaying false agreements onto their lives. She challenges listeners to find their own beautiful, personal "agreement" to add to Ruiz’s four, thereby shedding unserving beliefs. She concludes by promoting her TEDx Talk, "The Unexpected Education of a Foster Mom," urging listeners to adopt a "foster mindset" of nourishing and supporting themselves and others.

In this episode, we look at our human tendency to constantly measure and predict life's conditions, much like a meteorologist. Highlighting how we often try to control what's uncontrollable, extending this to our emotions and experiences, too. We desire mostly blue skies, but then tend to complain at the first signs of drought. The concept of unconditional love has no conditions. Unconditional love holds the key to experiencing the full gift of living.
This episode reveals a powerful story of a client with cancer who found healing through an "energy of unconditional acceptance," marked by curiosity, kindness, and self-love. This profound acceptance allowed him to embrace all aspects of his experience, leading to spiritual connection and recovery. The emphasis on everything brings up all the characters in Winnie the Pooh, especially Eeyore, to illustrate the inclusivity of grief, melancholy, and vulnerability as a huge part of the unconditional terrain where we find love.

Opening up with a story of “lost and found” and the emotional ride of ignoring intuition, Hilary shares how distracted and disoriented she became when seeking something important without slowing down and accessing her intuition. Knowing that the best lessons come in layers, intuition is closer than we can imagine - always with us - not to be ignored for long. In this playful “true storytelling” episode, we’ll explore why intuition is key to our life path, and how ignoring intuition may simply be a pause on our journey. Prepare for a different type of treasure hunt and Hilary’s real-life antics of (possibly) not practicing what she teaches for a few forgetful moments.

Sometimes it’s a good idea to live as if the word “faith” is a verb instead of a noun. It’s possible to be “hoping“ and “loving” but there is no such word as “faith-ing.” But what about taking a leap of faith? “Leaping” is an action! What does that leap feel like? In this episode, we explore the possibility that faith is a celebration without proof. Faith in action is celebrating as if it’s all going to be alright. Learn how your best memories of receiving an awesome gift - one that brings you deep joy - can activate your spirit of celebration to overcome any angst, worry, and burdening thoughts that are keeping you from taking the big and small leaps of faith. Leap knowing faith is a cornerstone for everyone’s health, well-being, and true nature.

Do you have a positive phrase you tell yourself? The idea of “smooth sailing ahead” can influence your day, week, year, and overall perspective. It suggests calmness and ease. However, we often overlook the deeper meaning of our phrases and intentions. In this episode, we explore what “Smooth Sailing” truly entails, using real-life sailboat memories—the wind, deep waters, sail positions, and the skills of the sailor. “Smooth Sailing” is a wonderful expression; when embraced, it means you want the wind at your back, understand the deep waters below, and recognize the buoys that guide and warn you of dangers. You appreciate the adventure of leaving the harbor when you’re smooth sailing. How does this expression connect to your life?

In this episode, we question what or who our Wizard is- a boss? a goal? a false belief? With some fun storytelling sharing a time when Hilary goofed up on stage as Dorothy herself, this episode is filled with praise for the arts. The sooner we dismantle the projection of the big all-powerful Wizard, the better. Like the cornerstones of rigidity, silence, denial, and isolation, we are all better when we upgrade our foundations to something more loving, wise, and wonderful. There is no place like home.

Four rules hinder our positive energy. These rules are often created unconsciously within family dynamics affected by trauma, dysfunction, loss, illness, abuse, and the constant struggle for survival. The four rules - Isolation, Silence, Denial, and Rigidity - are ready to finally fall apart when we are open and aware that the rules from our past cannot confine us.
In this episode we consider the opposites: Isolation is replaced by Belonging, Kindness, and Connection. Silence is crumbled by Caring and Sharing. Denial is dissolved when Curiosity and Intuition are part of our thought habits. Rigidity melts away with a Flexible Mindset, Willingness, and a Heartfelt Courage to Change.

The idea of a self-help book can be confusing and even counter-productive. After all, we can wonder, am I looking to seek others to direct me on my life’s path? Or do I need to only focus on myself to find wellness? The truth is, you need to start with YOU. You are the author of your own life. With every breath and every step, you are the one who is the most important part of your life. Permit yourself to take excellent care of your life. In this episode, two (2) key factors are revealed: Moderation and Personalization. Your whole body asks you to consider a life guided by the notion of not too much and not too little. We discover that one of the best lessons of healing thyself is a line from Goldilocks and The Three Bears….seek to find the ”just right” fit in your days and your self-care experience will thrive.

In this episode, Hilary interviews Lauren Walker, the author of The Energy to Heal and founder of Energy Medicine Yoga, about the importance of face-to-face human connection in a world where technology and work often lead to isolation. The discussion focuses on the potential health risks of being alone too much and the healing power of in-person meetings, celebrations, and retreats. The palpable energy that arises when we bring our bodies and souls together is explored, with reference to a famous 1990 United Airlines commercial that encouraged people to meet in person rather than relying on “phones or faxes.” Ultimately, the episode reminds us of the importance of showing up, making real eye contact, and allowing our energies to connect.

This episode is about the power of belonging. Finding a community where you can thrive in all aspects of your life. Humans thrive in togetherness and feel stress in isolation. When we are out of balance, the cornerstones of the community may need more attention. Energy healing is a part of life that belongs everywhere. Celebrate the tremendous resources that arrive when we connect to our life. The Good Energy Healing Club is a natural extension of The Good Energy Healing Show as we weave powerful moments of awareness together in spaces that feel like community. Seek the joy and freedom that arrives when we feel part of energy as a beautiful, abundant field.
We may need more openness to change, we may need more awareness of our abundant resources, we may need more sharing and caring time, and we may need more connection with all of life - people, animals, plants, the planet, and the intelligent energy of our cells. How do we connect? By saying “yes” to all the ways we’re invited to belong to ourselves and to take up a loving space in this world. Pay attention to how you’re always invited to belong to something. Be open to the invitations for goodness, calm, ease, and healing.

Gifts hidden in plain sight can look as simple as a packet of wildflower seeds, or as spell-binding as getting a second chance after losing a friend. This episode inspires us to look up and marvel at the wonder of life. Our capacity to grow bigger hearts relies on our ability to acknowledge the gifts in our midst. We need reasonable curiosity and an eye for the existing miracles surrounding us.
Wrapping up this collection of episodes, the case of Murphy delves into how a healing journey is also the hero’s journey. Respecting the power of the mono-myth as a key to the life work of Joseph Campbell, the goal is to understand that we are always living inside our own healer’s journey, and the greatest gift you can give yourself is to be conscious of your role as the hero.
Be inspired by synchronicities that fuel our journey through uncertainty to seek the blessings that become our gifts to the community. Learn how the idea of “The Ultimate Boon” holds a profound place in our hearts. Finding our boon is always the point of the adventure; to find the essence of our wholeness and our connection to everything through love.
Returning to the hero’s journey with a new understanding of the power of resting…this episode is an ode to the space between the steps: the waiting, the acclimating, the replenishing, and the power of letting go.
With a renewed understanding of how time allows us to heal, slowing down and resting is an overlooked part of the wheel of the mono-myth of the hero’s journey. This is part of a series of episodes exploring, with fresh eyes, the hero’s journey on the healing path. Based on the good energy and wisdom of Joseph Campbell, the author of The Power of Myth. Bonus moment: Interrupted by two kittens near the halfway point of this episode, this may have been content for a blooper reel. It is instead welcomed as an opportunity to evoke the spiritual message of the domestic Cat as the expert species on the topic of resting.
The word is simply “yes.” “Yes” to bring forth new creations. “Yes” is the opposite of refusing. “Yes” to the call to the hero’s adventure. Furthermore, “Yes and…” is the welcoming phrase of playfulness, joy, and wonder. Why embrace this path?… Because the hero’s journey is, in fact, a healing journey too. If you have an awareness of answering the call to adventure, you can see for yourself where you are in the mythology of your own life.
This is the beginning of a new series about growing consciousness to live more fully. Crediting Joseph Campbell as a brave teacher who taught about collective belief systems in the late 20th century to awaken everybody to their own adventure. Appearing as stories that share unifying lessons for our human experience, we walk the path of the mono-myth- the cycle of adventure, revelation, and restoration.
This first step is to simply desire to become aware ….relating to the metaphoric story by David Foster Wallace… about a couple of fish discussing the water. they swim in. This episode is about awakening to the possibility that you can choose your journey of discovery. You can even choose what you want to discover. And ultimately, you can be sure that the treasure you’re seeking has been with you all along…but now is the time to unearth your gifts because you’ll need every one of them on your new journey. It is time to begin again.

Because the experience of energy is beyond words, I loved the challenge to describe energy through vignettes and subtle metaphors created from real life case stories. Instead of having the answer in my hand now, the book simply invites the direct question: What Is Energy Healing? In this episode, this question is asked and the answers reveal themselves through more stories, and more imagery, and the great works of Monet.

There is peace within us. When we pay attention to all the happenings that occur in life, we can observe without expectations, good things unfolding. Serendipity means when fortunate things happen that are not planned. Inside of the word Serendipity is the word “serene” — in this episode, the story of a Rottweiler dog, plus another story of a donkey, delves the topic deeper into the understanding of how this beautiful experience of life is weaving together day by day.

Sometimes head-tilting moments result from powerful energy healing events that happen in sessions. Arriving at the 7th chakra, we are realizing that the energy body is a map that doesn’t point to a known destination… and that’s a good thing! Growth includes the playfulness of uncertainty. We can see more deeply when we close our eyes and sense our world through the sixth chakra. Located within our brain through the center of our forehead is our gateway to consciousness. The pineal gland, the medically mysterious part of the endocrine system, is associated with this purple chakra. The lessons around traveling inward to understand our connection to love and peace is the message of this episode.
When you put your Sixth Chakra in charge of setting the agenda for itself, there is bound to be mystery, depth, and some playful “here goes nothing!” energy.
The 5th chakra is about expressing ourselves and speaking our minds. To express is essential to the movement and flow of all energy. The communication center of our body flows through our throat and mouth area…but we will also explore the unexpected power of listening through the 5th chakra. On this part of the chakra map, you can flow through the tunnel of the fifth chakra to express yourself and strengthen your ability to communicate inward and outward. Also, there’s an extra element to the fifth chakra wisdom that is not always emphasized as part of expressive energy - but remember that active listening is as important as speaking out too.
