This episode of "The Slave Trade; Before and After" focuses on Africa, more specifically the Gold Coast, and what it was like prior to the multiple European invasions and colonization efforts. Slavery tore the Gold Coast apart, and we think it's important to know what it was like before the absolute domination of its cultures and peoples.
