This week we see three proofs that Jesus is God from Mark 15:33-16:8

  1. Only God could make the story (15:33-47)      a. The darkness before the death of Jesus compared to the darkness before the death of the Passover lamb (Plagues 9 and 10)      b. The tearing of the curtain which signified the end of the sacrificial system and the begging of the Priesthood of the Believer       c. The earthquake before the law was given to Moses (Exodus 19).  Jesus' words that he came, not to abolish the law but fulfill the law (Matthew 5).  Jesus perfectly kept the law.  And just after his death, the earth quaked (Matthew 27).
  2. Only could move the stone (16:1-4)       a. Mary and Mary left to serve Jesus not knowing how they would move the stone.        b.  The prisoner guards wouldn't move it, the Mary's couldn't move it, only God could.
  3. Only God could die and live to tell about it. (16:5-8)        a.  Jesus IS ALIVE!          b.  Go and tell the others!

This week's message is from Mark 15:1-32.  In this message you will find three ways that Jesus can help us in our troubles.

1) Jesus knows what it's like to be accused (vv.1-5). 2) Jesus knows what it's like to be betrayed (vv.6-15). 3) Jesus knows what it's like to suffer (vv. 16-32).

Take a listen and know that if you are hurting, accused, betrayed or have suffering, you can cry out to Jesus, who knows what it feels like to be hurt.  And he stands ready to help.
