God’s covenant to reconcile is not dependent on our works but begins and ends with His faithfulness. Rest in the finished work of Christ and know that He will remember you and fulfill His promises.
What does it mean to “be human”? We saw last week that to be human is to be created by God, in His image; and He gives us our identity which includes our sexuality, our calling, and our capacity to co-create with Him in this world.
God moves in real time and in real people. Maybe Christmases past for you have been too magical, too much fairy tale, too much dreams & wishes and not enough of the TRUE reality: God came near; and He wants to walk with you every day of your life! To Orchestrate… so that you can celebrate!

Local churches are accountable to Christ for their doctrine and ministry as they participate in His Kingdom. Embrace the privilege of direct access to Christ as a church and guard your responsibility with diligence.
The church is a local body of believers who are part of the universal body of Christ. Go and be the Church by living out the calling that He has assigned every believer.

God’s people are called to worship God continually and to depend on the power of the Holy Spirit for witness. Submit your doubts to Jesus, and worship and witness with full confidence in the power of the spirit.
Jesus expects us to give ourselves wholly to his kingdom as an act of faith and obedience. Give yourself over to God’s kingdom in faith and obedience, including your talent, time and treasure.
Jesus calls his disciples to hear and obey. Obedience to Jesus is like building a foundation on bedrock. Obedience is cultivated best through a rule of life.

The Father provides our needs as we ask him, depend on Him and align with His will. Ask the Father to provide all your needs and trust Him to answer according to His will.

Prayer for Jesus’ followers is about a relationship with the Heavenly Father, acknowledging his character up front. Pray the model prayer Jesus gave his disciples in order to deepen your walk with God.
King Jesus ultimately triumphed over death and sin offering life to individuals, his people and the world. Experience resurrection power as you open the eyes of faith and believe in the exalted King.
Faith allows us to see Jesus as the humble King and experience his rule in our lives. See Jesus as the humble King, worship Him, surrender to Him and represent Him.

God can use anyone to accomplish His purpose, but the faithful will prevail in the end. Let us stand firm in our faith by remaining faithful no matter what difficulties life can bring.
We can be honest with God in our prayers as we also listen to Him with faith. Make room in your life to bring your questions and longings to God, and listen with faith.
God offers salvation through Christ, by grace, through faith, revealed in the Scriptures, for his glory alone. Trust Christ for salvation, live in his grace and give God all the glory.
In the gospel we experience God’s continualtransformation in all areas and seasons of our lives. Live by faith and experience God’s continual transformation in your relationship with Him, yourself and others.
Christ has given his followers the ability to make a redemptive difference in the world. Pray, possess Jesus’ values, provide visible testimony to unbelievers and participate in the democratic process.
Jesus, the eternal King, identifies with the vulnerable and will judge us on how we serve them. Believe the gospel and serve the King by caring for people as whole persons, especially the vulnerable.
The gospel requires a personal commitment but it has the power to change the entire family. Believe and live the gospel daily in the context of your family and watch God work.

The believer's experience is bes live out in community. As Jesus commanded his disciples to "love one another", the body of Christ prevails against sin by living in community.
We worship God with our entire person in everything we do, and also by edifying the church. Offer your whole life to God as daily worship in its three dimensions: practical, private and public.
We worship because that is our eternal purpose as the redeemed nations in human history. Receive God's salvation in Christ and worship Him in anticipation of the gathering of redeemed peoples.
We worship God with awe and reverence because of who He is and what He has done. God and worship our God who is.
We are baptized into the body of Christ to serve one another according to our God-given call. Embrace God's call and gifting for you and serve the body of Christ according to them.
As we draw near to Christ, he uses us as living stones to build his spiritual temple. We build it based on the personal relationship with Jesus and mutual growth as believers. By joining a church you make your commitment visible and you share the responsibility of growing with others.

The evidence of being a true disciple is obedience to Christ, the foundation for the Christian life. Obey Christ as a way of life this year, listening daily, identifying a step, and being accountable.
Kingdom people are faithful to Christ regardless of the cost, joining him in suffering and reward. Let us be faithful to our calling even amidst persecution.
God is a peacemaker. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. His children are known for their peacemaking. Receive God's peace in Christ and determine to be a peacemaker in every area of your life.
As we acknowledge our need, God purifies our hearts so that we can relate to Him. Pursue God desiring the purity that he requires and that he provides.
Jesus had mercy on us and those that belong to him practice mercy as a kingdom value. Receive God's mercy and extend it to others allowing yourself to live in the domain of mercy.

Reconciliation with God is accomplished by God's righteousness in Christ, which is received by faith alone. Trust fully in the righteousness of Christ alone and be made right with God now and forever.
Sometimes we don't want to get free from sin, habits, addictions, and instead hide them from God.
God's faithful hand sustains us even when everything and everyone seems to work against us. Hold onto God's promise and plan for your life even when it seems impossible.
The movement Jesus started counted on the financial support of committed disciples who experienced and extended grace. Give out the grace you have received, supporting the ministry, so others can experience that grace.
God gives us community so that He can engage the lost through us and that community. Every believe should be part of a small community that will strengthen them and encourage them to go.
Community propels spiritual growth. Let us be part of a community (grow group) to grow spiritually.
Jesus calls those who are willing so that he can equip you to guide others to Him. Answer Christ's call to follow him letting him equip you to guide others to Him.
Believers need to gather regularly in order to encourage and prompt each other toward love in action. Commit to gather regularly with believers for mutual encouragement and a loving gospel witness as we scatter.
Jesus provides the perfect example of how to be a fired-up disciple in prayer, community and ministry. Let God ignite your heart as you abide in Christ, gather, grow, and go into the world
The Gospel is the Good News the world longs for. The Good News is most visible to the world when it is lived out by the Church.
Shen God's people own our identity it results in lives dedicated to doing good in the world. Claim the redemption identity God offers you in Christ and live with redemption excellence in the world.
A practice of Godly living sustained by God's grace enables out witness to others and builds up the church. Lead a life of Godliness, actively witness to those around you, and rest in God's grace.
Qualified leader should seek the church's health by confronting troublemakers, correcting believers and cutting off unqualified leaders. Pray for the church's protection, beware of those who harm it, and be prepared to confront troublemakers.
God calls out spiritual leaders who display Christ-like character to be examples, teach and protect the church. Let us be, develop, and select spiritual leaders who display Christ-like character, teach, and protect the church.
In the midst of uncertain times the church can ground itself in Our Savior and the gospel. Get grounded in Christ and prepare intensely for the gospel work in this season.
True freedom is found in Christ. All believers are called to love and serve one another.
God gave marriage as a very special gift to be enjoyed in the way he designed it. Enjoy the freedom of marriage, experience God's goodness through it, and serve (exalt) him out of it.
Christian fathers are called to lead their children toward their God-given destiny with affection and patience. Embrace the love of the Heavenly Father and extend that love to your family (children, parents, grandchildren, etc.)
Singles have the freedom to serve the Lord with undivided focus in contrast with married people. 1. If you are single, embrace the freedom you have to serve the Lord with undivided devotion. 2. If you are married, be an encourager to singles and extend family love to them.
Giving generously is the natural response to God's grace and it continues a cycle of abundant provision. Open your hands to give according to what you have received and experience the grace of giving.
Spiritual gifts fulfill the purpose of our calling to glorify God through Jesus Christ. Let us serve with our spiritual gift passionately, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
The Christian life begins and is lived out with an open heart to God's love and grace. Open your heart to God's love in Christ and let the Holy Spirit's grace flow and overflow.
God shows himself faithful to moms who are in less than ideal situations but trust Him fully. 1. Moms: rest fully in God's faithfulness 2. The rest of us : encourage moms with words and prayer.
Our God is worth to be praised because he is faithful to redeem, restore, and defend. Approach the throne with boldness, thanksgiving, and praise with the expectation of God to remain faithful.
God reveals His glory through creation, his goodness through the Scriptures, and his love through our hearts. Open your heart to God's revelation in creation and the Scriptures so that you can know Him.
As God's people sometimes we will experience failure, sorrow, and despair before we can experience restoration. Take your despair, sorrow, and failure to God as an act of worship and faith.
To begin full restoration in our lives we must connect with God's wisdom which causes us to bloom to life.
Sometimes God saves us from the storm; sometimes in the storm; and yet sometimes through the storm. Trust God in your storms and let your faith be a testimony of love to others.
When life is spinning out of control and the world around us is hopeless, we are not alone!
God in his sovereignty orchestrates unique opportunities in his redemptive purpose that can be seized or missed. Ask God to help you perceive the opportunities he places in your life and seize in time.
A decision to follow Christ is often a decision not to go back to what was familiar. Make the decision to follow Christ, charging toward your eternal home and do not turn back.
God has a purpose for every person! Every believer has a ministry task in front of them!
God reveals himself to us through the Spirit and the Spirit reveals himself to others through us. Be obedient to the Spirit's leading in sharing Christ to those who do not know him.
Our present hope is founded on our future resurrection which is as sure as Jesus' resurrection. Claim hope and rejoice in it today as you trust in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection.
Unless our lives are totally surrendered to God, we will continue to struggle in our faith walk. Let us totally surrender our lives to our sovereign God that we may be holy and pleasing in His sight. This is our true and proper worship.
After repentance and renewed commitment to obedience, God's people dedicated the wall in worship with joy. Offer God your best personal and family worship this week and anticipate a future celebration of joy.
When God's people repented of their sins they committed to obey God's Word in three specific areas. Let us obey God in purity, integrity, and generosity so that He is worshipped by the nations.
God's people experienced renewal as they tasted God's Word, confessed their sins, and told God's redemptive story. Taste God's Word, confess your sins against God, and tell the story of God's redemptive work joyfully.
Even with complete wall, the dignity of God's people needed renewal. There are people in each of our lives that are lacking the dignity of knowing God.
As the intimidation tactics of Nehemiah's enemies increased, God provided increased strength and success for the mission. Let us commit to our God-given, God-seized task knowing that it will only be accomplished by God-power.
Nehemiah discovered internal obstacles that prevented people form rebuilding and instituted social reforms to remove them. Let us remove the obstacles and burdens that keep us from accomplishing God's purpose individually and corporately.
God's people overcome opposition from outsider when we pray and work knowing God will fight for us. Let's face any opposition to God's work by praying and working as if God fought for us.
God's work calls for the commitment and gifting of all His people. God's work requires all of his people working together in community. Every individual and every family has a role to play. Let us renew our commitment to being an inclusive community and to work together toward a common goal: "Expanding God's Kingdom".
Nehemiah compels the people of God to rebuild in order to restore dignity and regain hope. Commit to the vision of God for dignity for his people and hope for a broken world.
Nehemiah prays and finds the courage to address the king regarding the needs of the Israelites. We can find courage drawn from prayer to take action and walk in God's calling.
Sometimes God calls us to action through a progression of interested inquiry, intense concern, and intercessory prayer. Prepare for God's calling by asking for information, praying for a burden, and interceding for others.
God miraculously rescued Shadrach, Meshach, and Abedneo from death because they refused to worship and idol. Worship the God who is able to rescue alone, even when it comes at a high cost.

Christ followers anticipate Jesus' return when all who trust in Him, living or dead, will be reunited. Entrust your eternity to Christ, Expect His return with eagerness, and encourage each other with hope.
God shows up in unexpected places to people who are receptive and makes them His messengers. Serve God in the margins, listen to His voice receptively, and take His message to others.
When the Son of God came to earth, humanity was too busy and crowded to receive Him. Slow down and create space in this busy season for Jesus.
AS called ones we have been given the essential ingredients to overcome the spiritual battle by enjoying the richness we have through Jesus Christ. Live in victory by relying on God's richness through His Son. Jesus demonstrated by His unconditional love, His unfailing grace, and by a life that walks in obedience thru the power of the Spirit and by abiding in His word.
As called ones we are engaged in a spiritual battle, which requires spiritual preparation and strategy. Stand strong in the spiritual battle by relying on the provision, preparation, and power of God's Spirit.
The way we relate to people with whom we work should reflect or relationship with Christ. Treat people at work with the same attitude you would Christ, to whom you are ultimately accountable.
Christian homes are the headquarters of disciple-making. This is where children honor their parents and parents train their children according to the Bible. Practice disciple-making in your home by relating to each other spiritually, scripturally, and selflessly.
Marriage is a relationship between a husband, a wife, and Christ, which gives witness to the gospel. If you are married, honor your spouse with submission, love, and respect, and thus, proclaim the gospel. If you are single, honor God with your singleness practicing submission, love, and respect in your relationships.
Christ followers are called to avoid spiritual darkness and live as children of light. Expose and avoid the deeds of darkness and pursue God's will with wisdom.
As God's people we have been called to a new way of living, which requires intentionality. Make a conscious decision to get rid of the old self and get your new self on.
Believers are called to keep the unity of the body of Christ through service, truth, and love. Embrace oneness by praying for unity, serving the body, and giving for the work of the church.
Christ gives us the power through his Spirit to fully receive, experience, and share the gospel. Rely on the Spirit's power to transform you, strengthen you, and use you for his glory.
God's movement is a powerful one. Be a part of it. Join a small group and grow together with other believers. Be disciplemakers.
We can praise God for His grace with which he chose us, granting us every spiritual gift. Receive God's grace in Jesus Christ and praise the Father for every blessing that comes with it.
God makes things new. He calls us to step into the new, leaving the old behind. Look with eyes of faith at what God is doing and embrace joyfully.
Singing about God's deliverance and might is both what God deserves and good for our faith. Worship God through spiritual and scriptural singing as you give him praise and grow in your faith.

David experienced God's grace as he became king and he extended that grace to Saul's descendant. Experience God's generous grace, live by grace, and extend grace to others generously.

God is faithful to those he calls, even in their foolishness. To have a relationship with God through his Son, Jesus Christ, is the best and wisest decision anyone can make.
Children of God do not act vengefully but trustingly, doing the right thing in the right way. When others do you wrong, trust God and act with integrity rather than with vengeance.

We are called to live as sent ones. Gospel is a noun and a verb. "We Gospel". We want to be a catalyst that will result in 65,000 new disciples by the year 2020. It's a crazy vision, but we believe that if God wants to do it, He will do it.
We've talked about up and in, now we are talking about out or the Great Commandment. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded..." The Bible says "Go". That's now the Great Commission starts. It doesn't say "come to church". It doesn't say "bring your friends to church". It says "Go". The Great Commission sends us out to make disciples. This is why we are disciplemakers, not "church go-ers".
We are God's people and He has called us to be The Church. The Church is not a building. The Church is the people. The first century church met in homes. That's where it started. The Church didn't have a building. The Church was illegal. And The Church flourished in those conditions. Church buildings are a blessing. But the important part is the people.
Becoming a full disciplemaker has many aspects. We meet together, talk together, and interact together in community. We gather in order to be steadfast in the faith, in order to be Christ-like disciples. We gather to grow. We gather to challenge in character and competency. We gather to encourage toward the end.
Belonging to a community of disciples is about obedience. It is essential to the health of a disciplemaker. In belonging we are able to experience fellowship. Fellowship means that we love one another and we help one another along the journey of following Jesus
A call to be a disciple is also a call to be a disciplemaker. The question is, "Am I following Jesus well?". A disciple is someone who is learning to be like Jesus and someone who is learning to do like Jesus would do. It's about being and doing. It's about character and competency. It's about faithfulness and fruitfulness.
Abide means to commune with God on a regular basis. This is part of the up or the communion dimension. Abiding is essential to the Christian life, to the disciple and disciplemaker life.
In this new series we talk about 3 big ideas of what it takes to be a disciplemaker and it is based on two big ideas in the New Testament, the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
