We're a church that exists to Honor God and Make Disciples. We hope our weekly preaching podcasts encourage and inspire you. For more information about us, visit our website at www.victoryalabang.church.
Standing where Moses once stood, Joshua faced an overwhelming assignment, a role that felt far beyond his own ability, yet God assured him He would never leave his side. As we journey through Joshua 1, discover how God's nearness gives us the strength to move ahead when courage feels out of reach.
The most meaningful influence comes from actions that reflect humility, love, and a genuine commitment to others. When we intentionally invest in students, we become part of building a generation grounded in faith and purpose. May we continue to cultivate spaces where the young people can belong, grow, and encounter Jesus.
Great leadership is revealed through humility, compassion, and a willingness to put others first. Our mission is to invest in students with genuine care, helping them grow and discover lasting hope. May we follow Jesus' example of servant leadership and embrace this calling with hearts committed to making a difference in the lives of the next generation.
Prayer is our privilege to draw near to God, bringing every burden, thanksgiving, and request before Him. As we seek His will together, our faith grows and our hearts are shaped to trust Him more deeply.
The Word of God is more than something we hear—it is what forms our hearts and directs our lives. Through faithful biblical instruction, we grow in spiritual maturity and are prepared to walk in obedience to Christ. Let us continue to be a church rooted in Scripture.
As one church, we lift our voices together in worship—celebrating who God is, what He has done, and what He promises to do. More than music, it’s a shared response of gratitude and devotion. As we gather, our confidence in His character deepens and our lives are transformed by His truth.
What is worship? Is it the songs we sing, the service we give, or the feelings we have?
Today, let’s learn how we can worship God as a spiritual family together, and how this experience builds and transforms us from the inside and out.
Every life transformed has the potential to spark transformation in countless others. As we pour into people and empower them to do disciple others, we become part of a lasting movement of faith, growth, and hope that reaches far beyond what we can see.
You have been called to make an eternal impact. As we walk through this series together, may you boldly share hope with one person and intentionally guide another toward a deeper and stronger walk with God.
In Acts 2, ordinary people encountered the power and presence of God in a life-changing way. The story of Pentecost is a reminder that God keeps His promises. From the rushing wind to the tongues of fire, every moment pointed to His desire to dwell with and empower His people. That same Holy Spirit is still moving, still filling hearts, and still drawing people closer to Him today.
God guides His people into fullness and teaches them to honor Him with thankful hearts, knowing every good thing is a reflection of His care. Choosing gratitude in every season teaches us to praise Him before abundance even arrives.
God sometimes allows lack to teach us true dependence on Him. Before provision, He builds our trust and reminds us that His word sustains us. Even in not enough, He remains faithful and deepens our faith.
The empty tomb promises transformed, everlasting bodies and proves that neither sin nor the grave has the final word. Therefore, we press on with steadfast hearts in serving God, knowing every effort carries eternal value.
Christ’s victory leads us into a journey of transformed living and meaningful purpose. In response, we choose to honor Him with our lives, both in private devotion and outward mission.
Everything we stand on begins with this: Christ gave His life, was buried, and rose again. This unshakable truth anchors our faith—His finished work and victory over death securing our hope and shaping how we live.
The risen Christ proves that what we’ve been given is certain and dependable. Because He lives, we hold onto a promise that outlasts sorrow and steadies us through every trial.
The resurrection of Christ secures the victory over sin, death, and all powers. Because of this, we can now live confidently with bold faith, standing firm in His authority and overcoming strength in every trial.
Lasting spiritual strength is built in quiet, faithful moments with God each day. Consistent time in His presence builds a faith that is steady and strong. Over time, those simple daily encounters form a heart that is deeply rooted in His presence.
On the road to Emmaus, confusion turned to hope as Jesus walked with them. Their hearts burned as His truth unfolded within them. May we recognize His presence in our journey and let His Word set our hearts on fire.
From our neighborhoods to the nations, we carry the good news across communities and cultures. We engage the world with courage and compassion, answering confusion with truth and hope. To every people and every place, we proclaim Jesus lives and His good news is for all.
The preaching of the gospel may bring difficulties and persecution. However, persecution does not stop church expansion – it becomes the opportunity that propels the message of Jesus into new places and people.
The gospel breaks every barrier and reaches beyond expectations. God’s mission expands as He brings salvation to all—crossing social, ethnic, and even enemy lines.
The early church grew through devotion, worship, and genuine love for one another. When community is rooted in Christ, the Lord Himself adds to our number day by day.
The Word of God fuels unstoppable expansion as people hear, believe, and obey. Like the early church, we pray not just for deliverance—but for boldness to proclaim the truth.
After the resurrection, Jesus empowered His disciples with the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses. We are filled not just to believe, but to boldly participate in God’s mission to the world.
Our mission goes beyond ourselves: living with purpose, engaging the world, and pointing hearts toward lasting hope.
Join us as we explore our calling as a community sent to love boldly, speak truth faithfully, and bring hope to those searching.
As the Father sent the Son, so the Son sends us—breathed on and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Join us in worship as we encounter the living God and are commissioned together into His mission, a communal calling rooted in the love and life of the Trinity.
At the cross, God’s love meets humanity’s brokenness. Through Jesus’ crucifixion, we are drawn back into relationship with the One who made us. Those who come are sent to bear witness to this restoring grace.
From God’s heart to the ends of the earth, missions begins with love. The Father sent Jesus because His heart is for the world—seeking, saving, and reconciling all back to Him.
As we ready our homes for the celebration, may our spirits be lifted by the good news announced on that first Christmas night. Real joy springs from the One who came to bring light and life to all.
Long after the festivities fade, Christ remains the One we can rely on. Like the faithful ones who waited for Him with expectant hearts, we're invited to place our confidence in the Savior who never fails.
God’s Word is our source of truth, revealing who He is, the way to salvation, and how to live a life that pleases Him. Without it, we would not know His will or the path to eternal life—Scripture is essential for faith, growth, and guidance.
God’s Word gives us everything we need for salvation and for living a life that pleases Him—complete, perfect, and lacking nothing. Join us as we discover how Scripture alone guides us in every area of life, doctrine, and practice.
In a world filled with shifting beliefs and opinions, we’re diving deep into the unchanging truth of Scripture—God-breathed and our ultimate authority for life, doctrine, and practice. Join us as we strengthen our confidence in God’s Word and learn to live lives that honor Him and testify to His truth.
Discover the joy of generosity and worship as we explore Philippians 4:14–20 together. When we give for God's purposes, it brings Him joy and draws us closer to His heart. We don’t have to fear letting go—God promises to supply all our needs according to the riches of His glory. Be inspired to live open-handed, trusting fully in the One who provides.
Join us live as we dive into Philippians 4:10–13 and discover the secret to true contentment. Whether in seasons of plenty or in times of need, God’s provision is constant. Through Christ who gives us strength, we can learn to live with peace and confidence in every circumstance. Be encouraged and reminded that with Him, you already have everything you need.
Scripture calls us not only to believe in Christ, but to actively participate in His mission—joyfully stewarding our resources to advance the good news. As we give, serve, and stand firm in faith, may our partnership bear lasting fruit and bring glory and praise to God.
Join us as we reflect on Paul's letter to the Philippians and discover what it truly means to be partners in the Gospel.
The world as we know it won’t last forever But there’s hope—God promises a brand new heaven and earth, free from pain, fear, and evil. Jesus is coming to make everything new, to reign with justice, and to live with His people forever.
Come hear what eternity with God really looks like—and why it’s something to look forward to.
The Bible paints two very different endings.
One brings fear—destruction for those who reject God. The other brings hope—honor and eternal life for those who follow Jesus. He is coming back to make everything right.
Join us as we unpack what this means and how we can live in confidence, not fear.
The return of Jesus isn’t just the end of the story. It is the pinnacle of God’s victory and the beginning of our eternal hope.
In Revelation 19, we see both the Great War that brings judgment and the Grand Wedding that brings joy. For the enemies of God, it is a moment of fear. But for the Church, it is the long-awaited union with our victorious King.
Jesus will return in royalty, victory, and majesty. He is the Groom coming for His Bride.
Jesus is better than anyone or anything else—more worthy, more powerful, more compassionate. Because of His unmatched greatness, we are called to respond with faith, endurance, and heartfelt praise.
This better life points to the eternal life promised through faith—a life beyond temporary suffering and earthly deliverance. It’s the hope of resurrection and everlasting joy that empowers us to endure hardship with courage and faith.
Listen as we explore this profound promise that sustains believers through every trial.
The heavenly things required purification with better sacrifices—and Christ provided the ultimate one. His sacrifice surpasses all those under the old covenant, once and for all securing our redemption and access to God’s presence.
Join us as we reflect on the unmatched power and sufficiency of Jesus’ sacrifice, which cleanses not just the outward, but reaches into eternity.
Our assurance rests in Christ, who offers us a better possession—one that cannot be lost or taken away. Though early believers faced imprisonment and the loss of earthly goods, their hope remained firm in an eternal inheritance, crowned with glory and honor.
Join us as we reflect on the lasting reward we have in Christ—secure, unshakable, and far greater than anything this world can offer.
The covenant and ministry of Jesus are far better than the old. As our perfect High Priest, He mediates a new covenant that is built on better promises—not written on stone, but on our hearts.
This new covenant offers what the old could not: lasting forgiveness, true transformation, and a secure relationship with God. Join us as we explore the unmatched greatness of Christ’s ministry and the hope it brings.
Jesus has established a better covenant—one that offers a greater promise: a secure, lasting relationship with God. Unlike the old covenant, which was temporary and external, this new covenant is written on our hearts and made possible through Christ’s perfect sacrifice.
Join us as we explore the beauty and depth of the covenant Jesus offers—rooted in grace, secured by His blood, and filled with eternal hope.
Despite the warnings in Hebrews 6, we can remain confident of better things—promises and blessings that accompany salvation in Christ. Our hope is not wishful thinking; it’s anchored in God’s unchanging character and sealed by His unbreakable oath.
Join us as we reflect on the firm assurance we have in Christ—an anchor for the soul, secure and steadfast, even in uncertain times.
While the Levitical priests in the Old Testament offered repeated sacrifices to atone for sin, their work was never complete. Jesus, however, offered Himself as the perfect and final sacrifice—once for all—securing eternal redemption for those who trust in Him.
He is not a distant or detached mediator. Jesus understands our weaknesses and intercedes for us with compassion and power.
Join us as we explore the beauty and depth of what it means to have Jesus as our Great High Priest—perfect, compassionate, and eternally sufficient.
Join us to hear a message about being a witness for Christ in our everyday lives by Dr. Greg Okesson, visiting today from Asbury Theological Seminary.
This Sunday, we’ll explore Hebrews 4:1–13 and discover how Jesus is the true rest our souls need. While the Sabbath pointed to rest, only Christ can fulfill it by offering us deep, lasting spiritual rest.
Don’t miss this powerful reminder that true rest is found not in a day, but in a Person—Jesus.
This Sunday, we’re diving into Hebrews 3:1–11 to explore why Jesus is worthy of greater honor than Moses. While Moses served faithfully as a servant in God’s house, Jesus is the Son—the builder and ruler over that house.
Join us as we reflect on the greatness of Christ and are reminded to keep our hearts soft and faithful to His voice.
This week, we continue our journey through Hebrews by focusing on Hebrews 2:5–18. While angels serve as messengers, Jesus is the Son—worshiped by angels and sovereign over all creation. We'll explore why His role is far greater and why it’s vital to pay careful attention to His message, lest we drift away.
Join us this Sunday as we dive into Hebrews 1:1–4 and discover what sets Jesus apart. He is the appointed heir of all things, the Creator of the world, and the perfect radiance of God's glory. This powerful passage reveals why Jesus isn’t just different—He is better than anything or anyone else.
God is raising a generation of messengers. Even in a world that increasingly resists God’s truth, He calls the young to speak with courage, conviction, and compassion. Just like Jeremiah, God appoints, equips, and sends. When He puts His words in your mouth, no fear, opposition, or doubt can stop the purpose He has for your life.
Join us as we dive into this powerful message and encourage the next generation to rise boldly for Christ.
God positions His people with purpose. In every generation, God raises up people to stand in the gap. Like Esther, we are called to recognize the weight of our moment — to act in faith, even when fear is real — and to trust that God is working through us for such a time as this.
We are called to rise in courage and faith. Join us for this powerful message from Esther 4.
This Sunday's series break, we reflect on Ezekiel 23:1–32—not to condemn, but to correct. Many have misunderstood the gospel, trading truth for imitation. God lovingly calls us back to a gospel of grace, holiness, and covenant relationship.
Let’s rediscover the beauty of the true gospel and respond to God’s faithful love.
At Pentecost, the crowd asked, “What does this mean?” That question gave Peter a moment to speak — and through his voice, God’s message of salvation reached thousands.
God’s mission draws the nations, but He uses human voices to proclaim His Word. From Peter to us today, we are His messengers, sharing hope with a world still searching for answers.
Join us as we explore how the gospel continues to speak through ordinary people with an extraordinary message — salvation for all.
On Pentecost, God didn’t just send power — He sent purpose. The Holy Spirit came with wind and fire, but the real miracle was the message: people from every nation heard the gospel in their own language.
This was no accident. It was God’s mission in motion — a mission that starts with Him and reaches all nations. Join us as we explore Acts 2:1–7 and discover how the sound of heaven still echoes through us today.
Hope isn't just something we hold onto—it’s something we are filled with and
called to overflow into the lives of others. Romans 15 reminds us that the Church
is more than a gathering of individuals—it’s a unified body called to bear with one
another, glorify God together, and proclaim His name among the nations. This
message is a call to be a church that doesn’t just talk about hope but embodies it.
A church that welcomes, builds up, and lives in harmony through the strength and
joy of the Holy Spirit.
True hope doesn't just comfort us—it compels us. It fuels a life of love, sacrifice,
and service, even when it’s hard. Romans 12 calls us to present our bodies as
living sacrifices and to live transformed lives that overflow with sincere love,
patient endurance, and radical kindness—even to our enemies. It’s powered by
hope—a hope rooted in God’s mercy and His unchanging promises.
In a world where division and self-preservation are the norm, we’re invited to be
different: to bless those who persecute us, to overcome evil with good, and to be
marked by a love that never gives up.
In a world filled with uncertainty, suffering, and constant change, where can we
truly anchor our confidence? Romans 8 reminds us that our hope is not tied to
fleeting circumstances or human promises—it’s anchored in eternity. Paul reminds
us that our present sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory that will be
revealed. We wait with endurance, empowered by the Spirit, and confident in the
God who works all things for the good of those who love Him.
Hope is not just an emotion we feel when life is going well—it’s a deep, unshakable confidence that is formed and proven through difficulty. In this message, we’ll walk through Romans 5:1–11 and explore how our hope in God is not weakened by suffering but strengthened through it. This is the kind of hope that sustains us in the darkest moments, rooted in the peace we have with God through our Lord Jesus Christ because God’s love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.
Against all odds, Abraham believed — fully convinced of God's unshakable faithfulness. Unlike the world's fleeting promises, God's Word stands secure. Join us as we dive into the limitless power of His promises!
The tomb stands empty — not as a symbol of loss, but of victory. Jesus is risen; death could not hold Him. In His resurrection, we see the ultimate proclamation of the King’s authority, power, and glory. He is alive, reigning forever.
May this profound truth stir our hearts into deeper awe, draw us into true worship, and propel us into the mission He entrusts to us — to carry the light of the risen Christ into a world longing for hope.
We reflect on Jesus, the warrior-king who triumphs not with might, but with humility. May this narrative of our Savior reshape our understanding of salvation and reorient our hearts to the kingdom He brings. Our Lord Jesus saved us so we will not live our lives to ourselves but for Him so we could follow Him.
The purpose of a biblical fast is more than just abstaining from food, but rather to gain deeper fellowship with God. By taking our eyes off the things of this world, we can focus our attention to Christ. Let’s redefine the view behind fasting and gain a new perspective as we seek God’s presence above all.
Let’s take one last look into spiritual disciplines—praying, giving, and fasting—as joyful responses to God’s grace.
The power of prayer is not just in words but in the heart behind it — a declaration of faith. Jesus exemplifies a life of prayer, teaching us to approach God with sincerity, humility, and faith. Let's redefine the heart behind our prayers and follow Jesus' example of praying with purpose.
Let's continue to deep dive into spiritual disciplines- praying, giving, and fasting-as joyful responses to God's grace.
True generosity isn’t about seeking praise, but giving with a pure heart. Jesus teaches us that the right motivation for our giving matters just a much as the gift itself. Let’s redefine giving generously, not for appearances, but out of love and obedience to God.
As we kick off our new series this weekend, let’s deep dive into spiritual disciplines—praying, giving, and fasting—as joyful responses to God’s grace.

We are called by Christ to go and make disciples of all nations.
As long as we have a Bible to share God’s word and a passport to go to the nations, we will continue to take the gospel to every nation.

God’s love is so great that it goes beyond us and what we could ever imagine — it is the same love that he has for the next generations.
We believe God has called us to raise the new generation according to His word so that they “would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.” (Psalm 78:7-8)

People once reached out to us when we were far from God, and now it's our turn to reach others who need Jesus.
In this new series, we're discussing what it means to shift our perspective from being the mission field to being a mission force!
