Nicholas Brendon, who received critical and popular acclaim for his portrayal of sensitive, wisecracking “Xander Harris” on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, turned to acting when his aspirations of playing professional baseball were squelched by a serious arm injury.
Nicholas first appeared on television in a handful of commercials and series guest spots. Feeling slightly disenchanted with Hollywood, he took a personal hiatus to play the “real life” roles of production assistant, plumber's assistant, veterinary janitor, food delivery guy, script delivery guy, day care counselor and waiter.
He was fired from all but one of the aforementioned positions.
During his seventh year in the F&B (Food and Beverage service, for the layman), Nicholas decided to give acting another go; after two months of auditioning, he landed the role of Xander and hung up his apron for good. During his hiatuses from the show he starred in the motion pictures Psycho Beach Party and Demon Island. After Buffy wrapped, Nicholas tackled the roles of “Dana” in the 2004 ABC Family movie Celeste in the City, “Seth” in the 2005 Fox series Kitchen Confidential and “Gil” in the 2006 ABC Family movie Relative Chaos.
Offscreen, the LA native enjoys quality time with his loved ones, Dodger games and cooking. He also devotes himself to awareness efforts on behalf of the Stuttering Foundation of America. Nicholas, whose fans have raised more than $5,000 for the SFA through his official Web site, served as honorary chairperson of the charity's Stuttering Awareness Week from 2000-2003. He's the first person to serve in the role for three consecutive years.

Join Hugo and Nebula Award-winner Robert J. Sawyer for a talk about his many hard science fiction novels, the FlashForward TV series based on his novel, his current WWW Trilogy and what he's got in the works for the future.
Robert J. Sawyer - called "the dean of Canadian science fiction" by The Ottawa Citizen and "just about the best science-fiction writer out there these days" by The Denver Rocky Mountain News - is one of only eight writers in history (and the only Canadian) to win all three of the science-fiction field's top honors for best novel of the year:
- the World Science Fiction Society's Hugo Award, which he won in 2003 for his novel Hominids;
- the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America's Nebula Award, which he won in 1996 for his novel The Terminal Experiment;
- and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award, which he won in 2006 for his novel Mindscan.
Rob is also the only writer in history to win the top SF awards in the United States, China, Japan, France, and Spain. In addition, he's won an Arthur Ellis Award from the Crime Writers of Canada as well as eleven Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Awards ("Auroras"). The ABC TV series FlashForward is based on his novel of the same name.

An icon of not only Hollywood but also the African-American community, Billy Dee Williams was a long anticipated and much needed addition to the cast of heroes in the STAR WARS universe. His considerable presence brought many viewers to the seats of the theater to see THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK who may not have originally purchased a ticket. His overwhelming popularity and powerful performance opposite Diana Ross in the films MAHOGONY and LADY SINGS THE BLUES led many women flocking to see his character Lando Calrissian in George Lucas' space fantasy. Billy Dee's career has encompassed so much, including the films "Undercover Brother", "Nighthawks", "Bingo Long", "Bryan's Song", and the television show "Dynasty".
His introduction in the "Star Wars" trilogy allowed Billy Dee to continue his role in "Return of the Jedi"; as General Calrissian he piloted the Millennium Falcon directly into the second Death Star destroying it from within. His popularity in the fantasy/Sci-Fi genre continued when he took the role of Gotham's district attorney Harvey Dent in Tim Burton's "Batman", lending his charming good looks and suave attitude to the film. Recently, Billy Dee Williams was nominated for an "Independent Spirit Award" for his role in "The Visit", portraying a father whose son is dying of AIDS in prison. He could also be seen on the television series "18 Wheels of Justice" and "Gidieon's Crossing".
In September he is traveling to Alabama to shoot a new project called "Constellation". His acting career, however, does not completely engross his time. Billy Dee is also an accomplished artist whose paintings are displayed around the globe including the USA, Japan, and Canada. As well as a painter, he is also a talented author, helping pen the science fiction thriller "Psi Net" and it's sequel currently available in bookstores.

With a career spanning five decades, George Takei is best known for his founding role in the acclaimed television series Star Trek, in which he played Hikaru Sulu, helmsman of the USS Enterprise. Takei starred in three seasons of Star Trek and later reprised his iconic role in six movies and several video games. More recently, Takei won over a new generation of fans with his recurring guest role on the sci-fi drama Heroes as Kaito Nakamura, the father of time-traveler Hiro Nakamura.
George has joined the cast of Nickelodeon's brand-new live-action comedy series, Supah Ninjas, bowing in 2011. George will star next in the new film, Larry Crowne, opposite Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, which will be released theatrically nationwide July 2011 from Universal Pictures.
Takei has also lent his voiceover talent to hundreds of characters in film, television, video games and commercials including Mulan, Mulan II, The Simpsons, Scooby-Do and the Samurai Sword, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Smurfs and George Lucas' Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Adding to his body of work, Takei has also provided narration on many projects including the 2009 PBS series The National Parks: America's Best Idea, the 2006 Peabody Award-winning radio documentary, Crossing East, centered on the history of Asian American immigration to the United States and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (cassette), which garnered the performer a 1987 Grammy Award nomination for Best Spoken Word Album.

Clare Kramer is an accomplished actor, producer and restaurateur. Clare earned her BFA in theater from New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. Honing her skills through off-Broadway and national tours, Clare first rose to Hollywood's attention appearing alongside Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku in the comedy Bring It On, playing the hard-nosed cheerleader Courtney; Clare was nominated for an MTV Award for her role in the movie. Clare is also known for her role as, Glory the Great Glorificus, the vain adversary of Buffy (for which 3 action figures were modeled after her character!).
Over the years Clare has continued to appear in numerous major studio and independent films as well as various television shows. Most recently, Clare has returned from locations in Florida and Maryland, wrapping her latest two films, Endure and The Dead Ones; both films will be released in 2010. Clare's company, Defiance Entertainment, co-produced Tyson, which screened at the Cannes and Sundance film festivals to critical acclaim. Earlier this year, Tyson was featured on Oprah twice in the same week and generated extensive Oscar buzz.
Clare has been featured and photographed in Maxim, People and Entertainment Weekly magazines, just to name a few, often using her notoriety and personal finances to help support organizations such as The Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, The Sierra Club and Children International.
In addition to being actively involved with several charities, Clare is the official spokesperson for kids 4 kids, an organization that provides financial aid and toys for children battling cancer. Clare and her husband, Brian Keathley, split their time between Texas and California with their 2 year-old daughter, Gavin and newborn daughter, River.
Max Brooks is the author of the two bestsellers "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z". He has also written for "Saturday Night Live", for which he won an Emmy. His new graphic novel "The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks" will be released in October of 09.

American film and television actress Kristin Bauer, who has been in show business since her early 20's, is most known for her role as Pam, the vampire co-owner of Bon Temps' Fangtasia bar, in True Blood. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Kristin had an idyllic childhood centered around nature and animals. In junior high she got interested in the arts, specifically drawing and painting, and after graduating high school Kristin completed three years of art school before moving to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in acting.
In 1996, Kristin appeared in one of her most memorable guest roles as "Man Hands" Gillian, Jerry's girlfriend, on Seinfeld. Throughout the years, she has played a few other series regular characters including the Geneva Renault, the buxom secretary of a high-tech security agency, on the short-lived action drama Total Security, Candy Cooper in the CBS family drama That's Life, and the sexy, softball "porn mom" on the NBC comedy Hidden Hills. In 2008, Alan Ball tapped her to co-manage the vampire bar Fangtasia with formidable Viking Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) on HBO's original drama True Blood.
Strong featured Australian actor born in rural Victoria in December 1945 whom initially worked in a quarry, and then as a salesman. Got himself noticed by casting agents and started to appear in Australian TV commercials, print ads, local Australian TV shows such as "Homicide" and "Matlock Police".
His first cinema appearance was a minor role in Felicity (1980), a low budget, erotic fantasy film. However, Wells was then fortunate to be cast as the homicidal biker "Wez", in the big budget Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981) filmed around Silverton near Broken Hill in outback New South Wales, Australia. It's the role for which he is probably best known to international audiences, as Wells portrays a psychotic, post apocalyptic gang leader who relentlessly pursues hero Mel Gibson, before meeting a spectacular death at the film's finale. Hollywood beckoned for Wells, and he spoofed his mad biker role in the popular teen comedy Weird Science (1985), before taking on another villainous role as the treacherous ex-soldier "Bennett", who foolishly double crosses Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando (1985). Once more, Wells meets a dramatic end, as he is impaled against a boiler at the film's conclusion, as big Arnold remarks "Let off some steam, Bennett".
Wells continued to find regular work as a "villain" of one description or another, predominantly in B-grade thrillers or action films including Last Man Standing (1987), Circuitry Man (1990), Kick of Death (1997) and Starforce (2000). The talented Wells then landed a recurring role as futuristic criminal "Ransik" in the highly popular "Power Rangers" TV series, and subsequent series of films.
Stan "The Man" Lee, whose legendary comic book career has spanned over 60 years, is the creative mind behind many of the biggest names in the comic book universe, including co-creating Iron Man, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Hulk, Thor and numerous others, and his body of work is far and away the most extensive in the history of comic books. At 87 years of age, Stan Lee is more active than ever with an unmatched career as a Writer, Editor, Publisher, Producer, and Actor.
Paul Cornell is a British writer who has written episodes for Doctor Who (Father's Day, Human Nature/Family of Blood) and other British television series (Primeval, Robin Hood), comics for Marvel (Wisdom, Captain Britain and MI-13) and D.C. (Action Comics, Knight and Squire, Batman & Robin), numerous Doctor Who novels (including creating the popular companion Bernice Summerfield, who has spun off into her own novel and audio adventures), and his own original fiction (British Summertime) including short fiction in the recent superhero anthology Masked.
Bruce Boxleitner is an American actor, best known for his leading roles in the television series Babylon 5 (as John Sheridan) and Scarecrow and Mrs. King. He has appeared in such genre TV shows as Tales from the Crypt, The Outer Limits, Heroes, and Chuck. He is also known for his role as the title character of the 1982 film Tron, a role he reprises in the 2010 sequel, Tron: Legacy.

Robert was born in North Carolina and was, as he put it, "a corporate brat," on the move with his family for some years until they finally settled in Atlanta, Georgia. There he got his first taste of acting at the age of twelve by performing in a community theater production of "The Wizard of Oz." After high school, he entered the prestigious Juilliard Theater School in New York City. It was while he was attending Juilliard that Robbie was cast as Charlie Brent on the popular ABC daytime drama ALL MY CHILDREN, performing the role from 1985-1988, and earning himself a 1988 Daytime Emmy nomination for his acting. During this time he also starred in the science fiction feature film MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE with Dolph Lundgren, Courteney Cox, and Frank Langella.
His acting roles include appearances on such series as Twilight Zone, Homefront, Murder She Wrote, Quantum Leap, LA Law, Early Edition, Outer Limits, Crossing Jordan, Star Trek: The Next Generation among others.

Jeff Lewis is an alumni of Acme comedy theater and The Empty Stage as well as a graduate of the Groundlings and Second City. He has written and acted in HBO's Sketch Pad 2 and has written such shows as Nickelodeon's Catscratch and Dreamworks Animation's Toonsylvania. His screenplay “For Christ's Sake“ wrapped production and is now seeking distribution. Acting credits include "Glee", "My Name is Earl" and believe it or not, "General Hospital". He currently performs in the improv group "Hammer, Don't Hurt 'em" alongside his Guild co-stars, Felicia and Sandeep.
