Door of Life Christian Church is a non-denominational church located in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Our mission is to share the love of Jesus with the world and believers, to teach them how to walk in victory and to help them find and fulfill God's plan for their life. Jesus said, “Come.” With amazing faith and obedience, Peter climbs over the side of the boat and actually walks on the water. However, after he felt the wind and saw the waves, he began to sink. Jesus then grabbed him and asked why he doubted.

There were 2 men who each committed a sin against Jesus one evening. One of them was Peter. He denied Jesus 3 times. The other one was Judas who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.
However, the end of their stories is very different. One of them was restored and preached a sermon that got 3,000 people saved. The other went and hanged himself. - How To Deal With Failure.
Many times the idea of living for God is cloaked with suffering and sacrifice. However, we see in Psalm 1 that the person who chooses to live all out for God is described as happy and blessed! - Permission To Be Happy? Granted!
We see a story in the Old Testament where David and his men came home to find it burned to the ground. Their wives and children were taken and all seemed lost. However, there was an inflection point of faith, when David chose to encourage himself in the Lord. Jesus told us that we would receive the Spirit of truth, Who in turn, would guide us into all truth and show us things to come. Sometimes, as we're endeavoring to follow the Spirit's leading we can hear conflicting ideas. Some will say, "I am waiting on God." Others will say, "No! God is waiting on you." The Word of God repeatedly exhorts us to "follow peace" (Psalm 34:14, Hebrews 12:14, Romans 12:18, Colossians 3:15). Does this mean that we are supposed to avoid conflict at all costs or never confront relevant issues? What does it mean to follow after peace? - Following Peace.
There is a repeated theme throughout the Word of God that exhorts us, "to not give up", "to be diligent", "to resist", and "to keep going". What do all these things have in common? - Godly Stubbornness.
When the Apostle Paul had his conversion experience (Acts 9:1-6), he asked the Lord what He wanted him to do. The Lord replied with a single instruction, "Go into the city (Damascus) and you will be told what you must do." This simple exchange between Paul and the Lord provides us with a profound template on how to navigate direction for our lives. - Navigating Life.
There’s an amazing story about a prophet named Jonah who received a call from God to go to a city called Nineveh. As soon as Jonah heard it, he found a boat and sailed in the opposite direction of Nineveh! Why did he do that?
