Sequelitis is a podcast about movies where Matt & Manny, 2 writers in Los Angeles, pitch the alternate versions of sequels to classic movies that they wish had been made, as well as discuss new movies, reboots, remakes and everything else that's made to entertain us.
Matt and Manny have seen Cobra Kai and they want to talk about it. With season 3 just coming out, it the perfect time to discuss the state of the series.

No movie better embodies the spirit of Hollywood's sequelitis than Ghostbusters 2. Matt & Manny relive the disappointment nearly every fan of Ghostbusters experienced when watching the sequel in theaters and on VHS, then they pitch an alternative that would have given audiences not 1 but 2 greater Ghostbusters sequels. Imagine a version where the Ghostbusters die at the end of 2, making you wait to see if they come back as themselves or ghosts in the finale of a trilogy. There's some good arguments in this episode as well, so that's a bonus if you're into hearing Matt & Manny fight!
In the inaugural episode of Sequelitis, Matt & Manny pitch an alternative to an entertaining but ultimately disappointing movie, Back to the Future 2. In their version, Doc steps into the wrong 1985, where he and Marty were never friends and his flying DeLorean fell into the wrong hands. With the help of a confused young McFly, Doc has to solve the mystery of how to fix the timeline by going back to the Future, twice!
