It's WrestleMania week! On the show this week we took a look back at WrestleMania 2000 and the Raw that followed. It isn't quite what we have come to know as the "Raw after Mania, but was fun. From there we had a wee bit of figure news. We expect there to be a ton of new things announced in the coming days. The Stu is once again full of all sorts of things to chat about including all of the AEW offerings, a tremendous Raw (boy!) and the CM Punk interview that has been the talk of the town. This week on the show we take a look at the latest Premium Live Event from WWE, The Royal Rumble! It was a fun show with some great moments. We also looked back at a monumental Raw in the "Retro Review" where we saw The Radicalz make the jump to the WWF as well as the beginning of the Acolyte Protection Agency. We also took a look at all of the AEW offerings including a great episode of Collision, NXT, Raw after Rumble and so much more!!!
Despite the milestone, this week's show is basically business as usual with one little twist: It's the annual drawing for the tattoo Royal Rumble! If you're new to the show, this has been going on since 2019 and is always fun. The Royal Rumble thread is running throughout the rest of the show as well. "On This Day" is full of it, and the Retro Raw Review is hot off the heels of the 2000 Rumble, which included that fantastic Street Fight between Cactus Jack & HHH. As I type this I really want to send a thank you to everyone who has taken time out of their busy lives to give Adam and I a shot. The landscape has changed big time as Stephanie McMahon is no longer "daddy's little girl" and has instead sided with HHH to oust her father from the company. This week's show kicks off with a very entertaining round of "On This Day In Pro Wrestling History" where we run the gauntlet from the normal title changes to stealing a car at gunpoint! From there the Retro Raw is building to the Survivor Series. "Into the Dorkness" is full of figure news from a bunch of companies with a lot of cool stuff on the horizon. The Stu is once again dominated by AEW, but with them churning out at least three shows a week, what are you gonna do? On the show this week we chat about a ton of topics in the History portion. That gives way to the Retro Raw Review, where The Big Boss Man is being the biggest piece of crap we have ever seen! This week on the show we have a lot to discuss in a little amount of time (although we ran a tad late)! As we look at the Retro Raw Review and the No Mercy PPV that preceded it there was change in the air and a lot of moving parts. Russo & Ed Ferrara had jumped to the competition just as The Rock was climbing to the top of the WWF mountain and Stone Cold Steve Austin was dealing with some lingering issues stemming from over a year prior. It made for an exciting and unpredictable time and we have fun breaking some of it down. This week on the show we looked at the 4/19/99 episode ofMonday Night Raw. The Rock was planning a funeral for Stone Cold Steve Austinafter tossing him (and his title belt?) off a Detroit bridge. Austin had otherplans. How many vehicles does this man know how to operate? This week on the show we talk all about the 3/1/99 WWF Raw in the Retro Review. We are starting to get the formation of the card for WrestleMania 15, and all of your Attitude Era folks are on this show (though very few of the matches have a definitive winner). "On This Day..." was a very big day for The Beast from the East as Bam Bam Bigelow won two championships on March 1st. This week on the show we take a look at a very entertaining Retro Raw as we rundown the 2/22/99 episode that featured the first ever Inferno Match on television. The evil Mr. McMahon was even ringside to see The Undertaker go head to head with Kane, but a surprise delivery caught him way off guard. This week on the show we take a look at the WWF Raw after the St. Valentine's Day Massacre PPV in which we saw a giant added to the roster. Aside from Sean Waltman, Paul Wight was the first big star to hop from WCW to the WWF and he's here. We are building to WM 15. Mat reveals any hits that were in the four AEW blasters that he purchased last week. This week on the show we chat about ACW Wisconsin’s show this past Sunday at Tanners. New champ alert! It was a good one. We also talk about the Raw before St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, which happened to be the most attended Raw of all time as almost 42,000 fans packed the Sky Dome in Toronto. While the WWE Royal Rumble (and that amazing finish to the main event) takes up a fair deal of time, we still managed to get in all of the segments thin week on the show. The Retro Raw was a bit unique as Mr. McMahon wasn’t in the arena, but rather on location in Victoria, TX trying to coax Stone Cold Steve Austin into breaking his contract. That was on the heels of the empty arena match on Halftime Heat with a short turnaround to St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. We got a decent amount of figure news and new arrivals to discuss, as well as a gruesome death match that was recommended viewing. To close things out we chatted about who we each got in the tattoo drawing, and briefly run down what’s on the horizon for us as far as live wrestling goes. Enjoy!

The Rock has regained the WWF Championship and Mr. McMahon is your rumble winner. We also get a title change! This week on the show we sat down to discuss a very pivotal moment in the Monday Night Wars. Jan. 4th 1999 was both the day that Hulk Hogan def. Kevin Nash with the "finger poke of doom" and Mankind def. The Rock for the WWF championship. Both were mired in controversy, but one stood the test of time way better than the other. We also ran down the Wrestle Kingdom 17 show that we got together just hours before recording to watch live. What a show! It had it all from nostalgia, to debuts, to a couple early match of the year contenders. We also cover the last Smackdown and first Raw of the year. Cheers!

On the show this week we talk all about the two biggest shows of the last week: WWE’s SummerSlam and Ric Flairs Last Match. We watched them both and for the most part enjoyed both offerings. The Retro Raw Review is a pretty classic episode as we see a debut, a return, and the start of the “Brawl for All” and the total debacle that was. Kane also defended the WWF Championship only 24 hours after winning it (in unceremonious fashion) at KOTR. This week we ran into a bit of a scheduling issue and had to record late. On the plus side, that allowed us to chat about the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite, which if you haven’t seen it, you should ASAP. From the debuts to the Texas deathmatch main event, it was incredible. Mat runs down what happened at ACW Wisconsin’s show at Tanners over the weekend. Hey, gang! We have a great show lined up for you this week. We are hot on the heels of WrestleMania 13 as we continue on our weekly journey through the WWF circa 1997. Bret Hart has turned his back on the American fans, and The Undertaker is holding down the top spot in the company. Not a ton in the way of figure news, so "Into the Dorkness" is a little thin, but we more than make up for it when we interview a Wisconsin Independent legend at the end of the show. That's right Dysfunction makes his debut on the show in a great call in segment to promote ICW- Milwaukee's upcoming Insanity TV taping. The Retro Raw Review is focused on the Feb. 13th 1997 "Thursday Raw Thursday" special and it is a pivotal episode in the landscape of WWF. The world title is forfeited, and the IC changes hands. This has a major impact on the PPV that was only three days away. We then get into a controversial topic in the figure world. Pro Wrestling Tees' experimental Macho Man Micro Brawler drop that occurred last Friday. It was a wild day for sure.
