EPISODE 100!! And to go out with a bang I decided to do something very different. Something that involved a stranger, a story and a really big suprise.
I first met Kerri after she DM'd me saying she had a very different outlook to the question I'd been asking people all year which was 'what would you do if you knew you had a year to live?

After a coffee catch-up and hearing her story about her daughter Lauren who'd sadly passed away from brain cancer when she was just 17, I quickly learned about Lauren's bucket list.
And one thing in particular that she had on there.  In this episode Kerri speaks about being a mother who had to watch their child put up a fight every single day, but what she learned because of Lauren also. And how the lessons and love that Lauren left behind have been helping Kerri create a life filled with adventure and seeking discomfort.

Stay tuned until the end for the big surprise!

Here's the back story with Jordan Frank (who I always knew as Jeff from primary school days).

His new stage name Jordan Frank, is in memory of two of his closest friends who sadly passed away and a way Jordan chooses to honour his late friends, who he considered family was to create a stage name that would enable him to take them with him whenever he stepped foot on stage.

Jordan's love of music and dance was how I always remembered him as a kid. And it was thanks to those two arts that he managed to find his way back from years of substance abuse and mental health issues. The abuse he endured both self-inflicted and also upon him built the foundation of the type of work and life's purpose he now has to create a better future for the youth within this community.

In this episode we talk about:
- Jordan's story on how he overcame his addiction
- How music is an art that can heal anyone
- How the mind remembers childhood trauma's even when we don't.
- Sexual abuse with both men and women
- The limitations we place on ourselves and how to remove them to move forward in life.

At the end of this episode I also surprise Jeff with something he never saw coming as a way to say thank you for a small act of kindness he showed me in Grade 1.

In this episode I talk about this new project that's gotten me beyond excited and why letting your imagination and curiosity wander is the key to letting go of everything that is no longer serving you to become a better version of yourself.

I also talk about:
- why rejection is one of my biggest fears and how I overcome it every time I am faced with it. -- setting intentions behind thoughts to manifest them into reality.
- exercising your imagination to improve your creativity
- letting shit go for good
- the healthy relationship with detachment
- how to get good at saying no
- what inspires me the most every single day

I hope you enjoy this final solo episode for season 4!

Daisy and Isabelle have over 12+ years of education and wellbeing consultancy experience. They have combined their knowledge and ongoing research to form tailored workshops, activities, and resources that focus on mindfulness, grit, and curiosity.

The two friends met during COVID and on their daily walks came up with the idea to create the Mushkins. Which fostered the mission to promote happy and resilient children who become capable adults.
As big kids themselves and trained educators and Isabelle being a mother also, they know what children need and want. Their values of creativity, inclusivity, passion, resilience, and independence put the fun back into learning and play.

Together they have created an imaginary world of The Mushkins, where children can be curious, learn and grow. And it's through their adventure stories they show children how to take on challenges that foster grit and purpose within.

In this episode we talk about:
- Fostering creativity in children and nurturing resilience
- Turning creativity into play as adults
- The story of how they wrote their first book
- Creating a safe space for kids to be themselves and express who they really are

I get really real in this episode. I open up about everything I've been understanding about life and death, limitations and trying to understand myself on a level where I'm actually starting to feel worthy of everything that I've been asking the universe for, for years.

We all go through the motions of highs and lows on the daily, but what I'm finding is it all just comes down to self-awareness. The more aware you become of the little things on the daily, the more you start to build focal awareness and you become less prone to other people's bullshit.

In this episode I talk about
- Convincing my dad to quit his job after almost 27 years.
- Meeting a woman who showed me how life goes on after death
- Why self-awareness is King and the more you develop that, the better you become as a player in this game of life.
- What you need to do to actively chase your dreams
- A really exciting project I'm working on

And more stuff that's been on my mind lately...

This was an ep that was recorded a while back with my good friend Matt for the Be More You Podcast.

This ep was a gem where we spoke a lot about mindset and perception on how we view obstacles and challenges in life as well as how small daily habits can change the entire trajectory of your life. There's a lot to be said for the little things and in this episode we explore why the little things need to happen before bigger shifts can take place.

Anna is an incredible artist and human being in general. She's been on a journey of self discovery that encouraged her to leave her home country Germany, where she was a successful make up artist and move to Australia where she then became a successful tattoo artist. Art has always been a part of who she is and it's been through creative expression she's begun to uncover more about who she is.

I love talking to this woman because she drops the greatest truth bombs and in this episode you will hear a lot of them. We talk about:
- why shifting your perspective will help you shift your mindset and outlook on life
- why success won't always lead to happiness
- the importance of remaining true to yourself and having integrity in the world of social media
- why every person is a creative
And so much more !

I recently got back from Bali and had a lot of life lessons presented to me in ways I would have never seen before. Travelling to different countries and experiencing different cultures will do that to you. But this social media hiatus I've been on in the last couple of weeks has given me a lot more clarity on what my world looks like in the near future...

In this episode I talk about:
- breaking your own limitations
- why happiness is a choice.
- capturing mental memories and how to be more present
- the uncomfortable conversations I've had to have with myself
- the good news in uncertainty and the struggles in life
- why I stopped subscribing to people's bullshit to focus on myself

On this episode I brought Lena back to play a game - We're Not Really Strangers. We each drew questions from the deck of cards and asked the other person to answer. It was an interesting conversation because we had no idea what questions were going to be asked and as usual we deep dived into each question and explored the answers further and further.

In this episode we talk about:

  • Reconnecting with self and what that means

  • Choosing love every day with every person in your life

  • Unlocking your desires and allowing the universe to give you what you need to get you to where you need to go.

  • Having conversations with the different parts of you that may be wounded, hurt or traumatised.

If you watched my latest vlog you will know that I'm off Instagram and will be for, I don't know how long at this point. Why? Because honestly, it was driving me mental. The comparisons and time I was spending on platforms that were actually not benefiting me in any way started to take a toll and so I said goodbye to them.

So in this episode, I talk about the findings of what a social detox has done for my mental health and creativity. And no joke, the world has not only slowed down but it also looks a little more colourful and I can finally hear myself think. You should try the whole social detox thing, it works.

We only just et on the day of filing and recording this podcast, but it felt as if we'd known each other for years as you will see from the things we cover in this episode!

In this episode, I talk about being diagnosed (officially) with ADHD. Turns out it's actually a lot more common in adults these days to be misdiagnosed and spend their entire lives thinking something is 'wrong' with them. This was something I'd experienced my entire life. The constant need to 'fix' myself was something that I felt like I was failing at always.  But since finding out more about what ADHD actually is and how it's affected me in my life, well, life started to make a hell of a lot more sense, to be honest.

I feel like a lot keeps changing in my life because everything that is happening is happening a) super quick and b) I'm becoming more aware of myself in the process of it all. The feeling of being misunderstood my entire life has been something that I battled with as not only a kid but also as a teenager and so this diagnosis, it's filled in a lot of the blanks for me as well as helped me cut a lot of old ties and limiting beliefs that were no longer serving me in the slightest.

It's been a wild ride so far my friends and it kind of feels like it's just beginning.

Adam is quite possibly one of the happiest guys I have ever met, from the moment we had our first conversation there was an instant 'hey, you're weird - I like you' moment. The first conversation we had was 2 months ago when Adam opened up and shared his struggles growing up feeling like he was different and often misunderstood, not just by the people around him, but even he himself. Fast forward into his late twenties, the discovery that he had been living his life undiagnosed with ADHD was the internal shift he needed to realise that he wasn't broken, he was different because he had been gifted a super power.

This conversation may be one of my favourite ones. We discuss what it's like viewing the world through the eyes of someone with ADHD and how the brain functions when undertaking simple conversations and tasks. Adam's view on his diagnosis is one he if grateful for because it gifted him a life filled with meaning, purpose and gratitude and now wants to help others see that ADHD is a super power if you use it to your advantage.

In this episode we talk about:
- What is ADHD
- How can you be diagnosed? What are the symptoms or signs?
- Where to after the diagnosis?
- Tools and coping mechanisms to help you manage ADHD
- Reparenting the inner child who may be wounded
- Understanding yourself on a whole new level

This conversation was one that changed my life and I'm so grateful to Adam for being open enough to share his experience with me at a cafe 2 months ago.

In this episode I talk about:

  • The two choices in life - Do it or don't
  • Being unapologetically you is how you win at life
  • Embracing the SUCK. as a reminder to never feel that way again
  • The only way you're ever really going to move forward is when you hit a wall with your own BS
  • Choosing to be bold and what that requires
  • Standing out on your own, to be different and not feel the need to conform to the conditioned beliefs you've been told is the truth
  • A whole lot more I rant about

Ray has been a full time trader for over a year now. He's been my mentor and a good friend as well who has a mission similar to mine - help one million families. How is he planning to do this? By teaching and educating people about trading (all kinds). He does this through multiple channels like his Youtube Channel, online courses, a Discord chat and one on one mentoring.

How he found his way into trading was through his own personal struggles with money and having to also step up and take care of his family. It's his main motivator and this conversation had a lot of gems in it for anyone wanting to shift their mindset reframe their views on the way they look at money and also looking to get into trading.

In this episode we talk about:
- Ray's purpose behind why he trades
- Why you need to always understand your why
- How to take the emotion out of trading
- How the market can teach you a lot about yourself through fears and hesitation
- The psychology around trading
- How you can turn $500 into six figures.

Kane is the founder of The Power In You Project. A local organisation that provides a holistic hub for their clients and creates a sense of community. Kane's passion for helping people who suffer from addiction comes off the back of a unique lived experience having been addicted to drugs for the better part of 12 years.

On getting clean he noticed there was a critical gap in the system for people seeking treatment and wanted to bridge that gap himself.
But more importantly, Kane understood first-hand what it was like to be in the grips of an addiction and believes that if someone can build up the courage to ask for help, that they need that support immediately and should not be placed on a waitlist.

His story and his vision led him to finding his purpose and I'm so grateful that I got the chance to share his story.

This was a very impromptu podcast episode that we recorded off the back of a conversation we had that morning. The conversation was around asking the right questions to get to the truth of what it is you really desire. Which is what led me to realising I wasn't living my true and being authentic to what I truly desired - part of that being back on the Finally Found Podcast and thus here we are!

In this episode we talk about:
- having a support system that trusts your decisions for your life.
- asking the right questions to seek out the truth to what you desire and want in life.
- authenticity and transparency with what you want
- moving past the guilt that comes with having boundaries that might disappoint people
- understanding how to actually drop truth bombs resepctfully
- surrounding yourself with people who respect your energy

And so much more!

Well guys, it's been over a year of the Finally Found Podcast and with this being episode 80, it will also be the last one for the foreseeable future. Why?

In this episode, I reflect back on what I have learnt through the entire process of podcasting and sharing experiences on my Youtube channel as well as where I'm heading and what I'm doing next (because it's going to be EPIC and INSANE)
And I share why I decided to hit stop on everything to do this other project.

So I want to say a massive thank you to every person that has tuned in and listened to me for over a year and a half. I love you guys so much and appreciate all the support always.
I hope you continue on this journey with me over at Be More You.

This was one of my favourite guests to chat to and have on the Finally Found Podcast.
Jonnie shares his story about how he got to where he is now by acting on the kindness of helping a stranger and stepping out of his comfort zone. This lead to him taking a chance on himself on a trip to LA and once again stepping into discomfort. That one chance, one conversation and one leap of faith led him to work with a brand that (literally) is all about Seeking Discomfort.

In this episode we discuss:
- Jonnie's story and what he's currently curious about
- Content creation in this day and age.
- What makes good content.
- Motivation vs inspiration and which one is more effective.
- Why it's important to seek discomfort in every area of your life.
- The power of storytelling and how you can always learn from other people's story

To believe in the potential of people, or even situations is a very noble idea. We want something so badly that our vision is clouded with “what could have been,” instead of “what it is.” Sometimes this leads to a dangerous path.

What is so dangerous about “potential” though? Isn’t it a good thing to believe that things can change? I wish the answer to this question was simply black or white which is what makes it so hard to let go of something you desperately wish to hold on to.

In this episode, I talk about why it's more important to show consistency with people, yourself and life rather than believing in the potential of what 'could' happen.

Life can be difficult and uncertain, especially when faced with the prospect of change. Although change is often the key that will positively alter the path of our lives, we shy away from it for fear of leaving behind our comfort zones and entering into the unknown. This fear robs us of our freedom to make the life choices that can bridge the gap between where we are and where we want to be.

It may take courage to move from the known to the unknown, but the price of growth is a sacrifice of certainty.

Here are six steps you can take to make any needed change in your life.

Your words mould and shape you. They cause you to form your beliefs and from that, your actions arise. To create a business, a relationship and a life you love, you have to become a gatekeeper of the words you choose. Plant the best words, with the best intentions, and the best possible outcome into your thoughts every moment of the day.
This is consciously creating your future.

In this episode I talk about some of the ways we can overcome and reframe those old thought patterns to make room for the life you really want to be living.

I often speak about the time I travelled to Thailand solo in 2018 and had a conversation with a stranger and that single conversation changed the entire course of my life.

Little did I know that hearing Damian's story back in Thailand (over mango smoothies) would be the pivotal turning point in my own story.

Three years later, I finally have on the podcast the guy that inspired The Finally Found Podcast to start. Damian's life experiences have taught him that life is precious and time even more so. Currently serving in Afghanistan, we sit and chat about all things mindset, self-development and how loss will teach you some of life's biggest lessons.

I'M BACK and I hope you're ready for season 3 of The Finally Found Podcast.
It's going to be a big season with some incredible guests from all walks of life as well as some lessons I learnt during my time away from the microphone, particularly when it came to writing my book 'Shit You Think You Know'
Oh yeah, did I mention my first e-book is available to purchase?

In this episode, I talk about all the things you can expect when you start reading the book and why I even wanted to write it in the first place.

Here we are ladies and gents, the final episode of Season 2 of The Finally Found Podcast.

In this episode, I talk about the lessons I have learnt in the last six months that have enabled me to start really living, not for tomorrow or the weekend or the next calendar event, but instead for right now.

Everything from:
- Letting go of the idea of pleasing everyone
- Learning how to listen to your gut and trust yourself
- How to build confidence and set yourself free
- What boundaries really are and where you should implement them
- And why getting comfortable with death has enabled me to really start to live.

I hope you enjoy this final episode and I'll see you back here in a few weeks time for Season 3!

Just a small-town guy whose love for coffee and people led him all the way to the Big Apple. If you're a local down in Geelong, you have more than likely heard the name Robbie. He was the King of Pako and someone who is much loved by everyone he comes into contact with.

After successfully running one of the most well-known cafe's in Geelong, Robbie's intuition led him to chase his wildest dreams all the way to NYC.

In this episode we talk about:
- Why it's important to follow what you love, not what others tell you, you should be doing
- Why Listening to your intuition and gut instinct is sometimes more accurate than listening to your heart
- How you can manifest your wildest dreams
- And why taking the risk is worth more than losing the chance, any day.

'The happiest dude on the planet' - that's how a lot of people see Stefan when they meet him for the first time. But behind that beaming smile is a story of pain, struggle and torment. When I asked Stefan to sit down with me and share his story about addiction and mental health, I had no idea what I was going to get because this was the first time he was taking the leap and opening up about his past.

Stefan had been diagnosed with extreme anxiety at the age of 15, then by the age of 17 found himself severely abusing drugs and substances. In his early 20's he was witnessing the loss of some of his closest friends due to drug addiction and suicide. Stefan's trauma became the catalyst for the story he's currently writing now.

Through meditation, yoga and his love for music, he found ways to cope with the part of him that he felt like he would never move past.

The smile tells the story of suffering and an internal battle that Stefan still faces every single day. The reason behind him wanting to share his story now is to show others that no matter what it is they're going through, they're not broken like he once believed he was.

We all have a story to tell and our stories no matter how dark they may seem or feel, have the power to create hope and light in someone else's life.
I really hope you enjoy this episode because it's the most inspiring conversation I have ever had with someone.

There’s no doubt these experiences can be unsettling, especially if we are unprepared for them. It can feel like the foundation is crumbling before us and all that lies is the uncertainty of the future. But this is just the initial response and depending on our circumstances, unexpected life turns can propel us to a new future we never even considered.

In this episode, I talk about personal experiences of life taking unexpected turns and coping mechanisms used to move past them and see them for what they are: a lesson.

Pain and loss can be our biggest teachers and for Dan, it took that as well as drug addiction for him to see that there had to be more to life than just that.
After the death of his father as well as finding himself homeless and at his lowest point ever, he turned inward and began to find new ways of healing himself. And it started with the habits he had in place that were creating his reality.

Dan has gone on to run a successful e-commerce business and has become a habit and mindset coach, helping other young people free themselves from limiting beliefs and create better habits to unlock the potential that is already within them.

This conversation was AMAZING. And I'm so grateful for Dan sharing his story in this episode.

This episode was recorded back in January 2021 when I first started my 12-week transformation with coach Elise Richmond.
It was all about setting yourself up for success through goal setting, simplifying your nutrition, implementing good habits and staying consistent in any area of your life (not just fitness). My favourite thing she mentions is how your training should allow you to live your life outside of the gym and why having that base level of fitness will give you opportunities in the future.

Elise also shares her story about all the epic adventures and life experiences she has had.

Being vulnerable is not a sign of weakness, it's a sign of immense strength. In this episode, I talk about finding strength in those moments that feel the hardest and how they are just preparing you for the rest of your life. Once you can see and break through the situation in front of you, a future version of you will be thankful to you for going through the things that were inevitably just growing you.

In this episode, I chat with Caitlyn McGuiness. An absolute badass who shares her view on fitness, mindset and how to stop self-sabotaging when it comes to weight loss and fitness.

Caitlyn's fitness journey started when she realised she needed to make a serious change in her life. Being stuck in the corporate world, she turned to the gym to better herself mentally and physically. Her love for fitness led her to manage a gym which eventually led to her starting up her online business, helping woman better themselves.

Now, Caitlyn is in the middle of a bodybuilding prep in the lead up to her WBFF Pro Debut.
In this episode, we cover topics from why people set themselves up to fail before they even start, how to actually set a goal ad stick to it, how actual change and transformation is created, why the number on the scales actually doesn't matter and how you can make fitness a lifetime goal not just a 6-week challenge.

It's a super insightful conversation!

So we all know back in January I started my 12 week mind and body transformation. I say mind transformation because for me it was a complete reporgramming of limiting beliefs, old patterns and behaviours that were no longer serving me as well as learning to break free from the invisible ropes that were holding me back for far too long.

In this episode I talk about the major breakthroughs I experienced during the 3 months and how I actually managed to bridge the gap between my mind and body to become the healthiest and strongest version of myself that I have ever been.

And the beautiful thing about my journey? You can experience it yourself too.

So when I met Georgia about 2 months ago for the very first time after she reached out to me - she actually identified as Dan Wray.

After our initial conversation, Dan who now goes by the name Georgia, not only stepped out of their comfort zone but also stepped into who they always knew themselves to be.

Georgia is now on a mission to rediscover and learn who she really is. And I couldn't be happier for her. This conversation was a HUGE breakthrough for her and I'm so glad I was able to hold space for her to share her story.

It may seem negative at first. Yet, if you move past the fears, failure is nothing more than a signpost guiding you in the right direction.

You can fail in life and end up where you need to be because failure is not permanent — giving up is.

A real, raw and honest conversation with a returning guest - Emily. In this episode we talk about the progress the both of us have made since our first episode went live at the beginning of the 12 weeks program and how our mindsets have shifted from what was an unhealthy one when it came to food, exercise and body image to a more positive one 3 months later.

We discuss things that worked vs didn't work for us and what the most important lessons have been since started this lifestyle change at the beginning of the year.
This episode is a conversation that opens up about our own personal experiences throughout this journey, one that we are both still on and have so much to still learn about.

Your twenties are the years where I believe you should take full advantage of experiences and sampling different paths and trying new things. Trying to navigate life is hard enough, trying to find your purpose in life can feel like an impossible task at times. But I think we all truly know what we want, we just have to quieten the noise in our heads and remove the layers that no longer feel like us, so we can return to who we are at the core.

In this episode, I talk about ways to potentially help you uncover what it is you really want and how you can start making moves towards your purpose. And it all begins with one question ' why?'

I absolutely love meeting new people from all over the world and I'm someone who has no issue jumping on a Zoom call and having a virtual coffee date which is exactly what I did when Elliot and I crossed paths only a few weeks ago through Instagram after he came across me on Youtube.
From that initial conversation, we hit it off talking all things life, learnings and books.

Elliot is currently based in Manchester after having lived in Switzerland for most of his childhood. He's currently signed a contract to play football but since COVID hit the UK, he's found solace in so many other areas of life. One of which is helping people find presence in the present, together. Which is how Journey-en started.

If you'd like to join the Journey-en Zoom Calls every Sunday (Monday morning AEST) then let me know!

If we want things to change, it must begin with us to attract better circumstances. Sometimes it may arise from frustration with the way things are or the realization that something is missing from our lives. In this episode, I cover why we need to start looking inward and not outward for serious change to happen in our lives.

In this episode, I explain how I started taking back my life and it all started with one simple change.

I used to be that girl who cared so much about what other people thought about me. My entire existence was shaped around the opinions of not just those closest to me like loved ones, but opinions of people who’s advice I, in all seriousness would never take.
How fucked up is that?

I wanted to be liked, I wanted people to see me in a certain light – one that favoured me. I wanted people to respect me and see my self-worth and that I was worthy of being all that I was pretending to be. I wanted people to only have nice things to say about me. Can you relate?

So last week, Elisha and I embarked on a wild challenge. To walk 62km in a day to raise funds for the GoFund Me Campaign to reunite Sancha and his 5-year-old son in Nepal and also help out the community in Lukla.  The challenge was going to be both mentally and physically exhausting and while Elisha managed to reach the 62km, my experience ended a little abruptly when my body basically said 'not today' and I was forced to call it at 30km in. (I was also carrying 30kg on my back the entire time)

This episode is all about what our experiences were like and how they differed mentally as well as what we both learnt from it.

Right, so the topic we’re talking about today is probably going to resonate with a lot of people on so many levels. And this has been something I honestly have been working on and still am to be honest, for many years now. But through being in a long term relationship which I look back on now and am completely grateful for because of the lessons that came from it, that actually gives me a new perspective on a lot of things today - it taught what the actual difference is between fixing someone and actually helping them.

The conversation I had with Em at the beginning of this year was the conversation we both needed to kickstart a massive change in both our lives. Since that conversation was had, we both decided to make lifestyle changes to get into better shape both mentally and physically.

We're both on separate journey's but have become each others accountability buddy. In this episode we talk about that exact convo, habits that need to be implemented for serious change, the mental shifts that have been happening on this lifestyle change and the personal battles we've both had with body image issues.

It's a solid conversation over coffee with two friends.

Because you are solely responsible for manifesting your goals, it is important to question your beliefs on a regular basis, as doing so allows space for you to clear the clutter that may subconsciously be holding you back from achieving what it is you actually really want in life. It's the limiting beliefs we have been conditioned to believe from an early age that needs to be check in on and reprogrammed if those beliefs no longer serve us. And I'm going to tell you how to do that in 4 ways that I have found helped me remove the roots.

Ari is someone I met a little over six months ago. We crossed paths in the Youtube community and in just six months we've become close friends, despite the fact that we've a)never met in person and b) she lives on the other side of the world. I don't think I've ever had a conversation with someone when I first met them that was as raw, deep and honest as the very first time we spoke over a zoom call.

Ari has started her own Youtube journey and through her videos she tells her story and experience with trauma, fear, anxiety and childhood issues.

In this episode we go DEEP into what fear really is, how to keep the small promises you make to yourself, why it's important to learn into 'negative' emotions and how trauma can actually become your superpower.

It's an intense and insane conversation, probably one of our best ones yet, so take a listen and join in on the chat!

Of all the things I have put myself through in the last couple of years, this is by far the hardest thing I've ever done publicly. It's the most uncomfortable I've ever been talking about something so personal to me and it's exactly why I needed to do it. So it longer has a hold over me.
It's been years since I last revised this part of my life and that version of myself. Depression ruled my life for the majority of my late teens and early twenties and it almost won a couple of times. It took hitting rock bottom and hurting myself in more ways than one to realise the only person I was at war with was myself and that the only person that could save me, was me.

If you are someone suffering your own war right now, I want you to know that there is always a choice and it's in your hands. And I hope the choice you make is to choose you every single day.

This is my story of how I overcame depression, anxiety and suicide to become the person I am today. I hope it helps someone somehow.

This is really hard for me to share because I never speak about this stuff. But here we are. So ever since I was a young teen I've had body image issues as all young girls (and boys also) have. Mine stemmed from cultural conditioning and one comment that was made to me at the age of 12 that I never really let go of. And it's taken me up until this year being 26 to realise where the issue stemmed from.
So in this episode, I share the story behind that moment, the story behind having the realisation and what I'm doing about it right now to make change happen so I can live a long and happy, healthy life going forward.

One of the challenges during the 30 Days of Discomfort Youtube Series I just completed was to bike ride from Echuca to Geelong. A distance of 256km in a day. It took my friend James and I about 16 hours to get it done and I wanted to talk about what was actually going through my head when I said yes to the challenge and during the ride when shit got real hard. I also wanted to get it from James' point of view (despite being an actual cyclist)

And this is how the convo went...

Welcome to 2021 and my first episode back! It's been a while and that's mainly because for the month of January I was focused on the 30 Days of Discomfort Challenge on my Youtube channel. (Check it out if you haven't) So I wanted to use the first episode back to talk about why I did the challenge and what I learnt from it. Because there were some massive life lessons that were learnt. I also want to explain why you should be using this year (After the year that was) to choose to seek discomfort. Because it's in stepping outside of your comfort zone the magic happens and you see what you are truly made of.

“Don’t ever settle” has been said so much that it’s become a cliche. It’s lost any meaning it may have once had. After all, it’s easier to tell someone not to settle than it is to tell yourself. Giving advice can be so much easier than actually taking advice, especially when it’s a something as common as “don’t ever settle” or something else along those lines. And deep down, I believe we do know our true worth. So why do we get this constant reminder to not settle?

So I’ve been on this healing journey for the last year or so. It’s been an absolute trip and a half and I feel like I have come a long way from just 7 months ago. Turns out, the end result of healing feels freeing and amazing, but the actual process of healing? Yeah, that’s rough sometimes because it requires you to push past pain which is both worthwhile and terrible at the exact same time. Growth requires a lot of a person. It mainly requires a willingness to try and fail and try again and to keep asking why.
So are you ready to dig deep?

Does it ever seem like a chore to simply exist?
Do you feel like you live in an overstimulated whirlwind?
Job, errands, friends, hobbies, news, social media, Netflix. Lotta inputs there. It’s strange that, in times of relative abundance and material wealth, we seem to be more stressed-out than ever.

Today I am here to tell you to stop making your life harder than it has to be. Human beings are addicted to difficulty. We equate difficulty with quality — a horrible equation. You can get what you want from this life without over-stressing yourself, trying harder than necessary, and walking around like a neurotic ball of energy 24/7.

How? Well, keep listening my friend.

Have you ever had a moment in your life where things are about to change and you can sense it before you see it? I remember right before I quit my job I’d said to one of my close friends, there’s this feeling inside of me, I can’t explain it but I feel like there is something big waiting for me around the corner.
Maybe you too have experienced this, or maybe you haven’t yet. But these are a few of the experiences you might have right before a massive shift takes place.

Are you a self-saboteur! Isn’t that a nice, fancy way of saying that you sometimes are your own biggest obstacle? We all are at times, and we all need to stop it. So in the episode, I want to talk about how to do so.

This week's special guest is my friend Carlo Cirillo.
Carlo's passion lies in connecting people with not only other likeminded human beings but connecting them back with themselves. His mentorship programs have helped so many young people find their purpose and he is on a mission to reach as many people as possible and help them unlock their full potential.

In this episode, we dive down into what connection really means to humans and how we can figure out our 'why' to put us on the path of purpose and living a meaningful life that is entirely our own.

Regrets. They’ll haunt you until you die if you allow them too. So how do you try to live a life of no regrets?
Well, this past week I’ve been doing a whole lot of reflecting and I asked myself the question ‘what’s my biggest fear right now?’
There are all these little ones I can come up with and the obvious ones like dying a slow and painful death, BUT one of the fears I think not only I, but soo many people have is the regret of not having lived a fulfilled and meaningful life. And so, here are my 25 changes you should be making to avoid that from happening.

Let me start off by saying, every single person’s idea or view or vision of what success looks like is different. For me, success is having the freedom to live my life day in day out exactly as I please. It’s financial freedom, it’s being healthy, it’s fulfilling every childhood dream I’ve ever had.
In this episode, I talk about the 8 mental shifts I had to make in order to set myself free and unlock my potential.

Everyone meet my best friend Whit. She is someone who has been there for me during every single high and low over my life in the last 3 years.
We all have that one friend who will pick us up when we're down and Whit is that friend to me. So to have her on the podcast this week talking about a topic like Anxiety and Depression was a big ask. Because it's a topic that hits home hard for her personally as well as so many people.

In this episode, we talk about personal experiences, as well as societal expectations on young people these days as well as coping mechanisms for anyone who does suffer from anxiety and depression.

So grab yourself a coffee or tea and join the conversation with us!

If you’re like most people, there will probably come a time in your life when you are faced with the realization that the things you once wanted in the past are not the things you want for the future, and this isn’t a comfortable thing to accept.

This episode I want to let you know that it's okay if you decide your dream may no longer be your dreams and here's why.

Ahh failure. That ugly ass word that scares the living shit out of everyone. Because no one wants to be seen or looked at as a failure right?
The biggest lesson I learnt when it came to failing was my 7 and a half year relationship ending at the same time I sold my business I grew from the ground up. And at the time, I thought wow - I can’t do anything right. I’ve just wasted all these years of my life and for what? I have nothing to show for it except anxiety, depression and a sad broken little girl. Sick.
This episode I talk about the lessons failure taught me and how it was the breakthrough I needed to find happiness and peace in my life.

So, I turn 26 in December. And for whatever reason, people who are turning 26 or 27 seem to go into this panic mode. I have a lot of friends who are dreading turning any age between 26-29. It’s as if their life is slowly coming to an end and as they say ‘it’s all downhill from there’

But is it? I mean it is if that's what you’re going to keep telling yourself. Because what you think you become. I truly believe that. So here's what I think being happy and successful looks like in your twenties.

My perfectionism made me bitter, unhappy, and lonely. The constant shifting, analyzing, and comparing was destroying me and affecting every single relationship I had, while simultaneously stalling everything I was working so hard to achieve. Not to mention the constant cycle for validation and perfection was exasperating and emotionally exhausting.
The real kicker with diagnosing yourself as a 'perfectionist': You struggle with finding joy in most things.
And so this week, I'm breakdown that 'perfectionist' stereotype and uncovering why it's actually not a positive trait to have.

So let me ask you this, are you a self sabotager? Someone who calls themselves a professional procrastinator? Someone who will find even the most ridiculous task to complete before attempting the actual task at foot?  Well let me stop you right there so I can tell you STOP LABELLING YOURSELF A PROCRASTINATOR. Procrastination is a habit that is learnt. When you tell yourself you ARE a procrastinator you are allowing it to become a label that attaches itself to your identity. It’s easier to unlearn a behaviour or habit than it is to remove a label from your identity. So this week, I'm breaking down the habit of procrastination.

Hey hey!
Welcome back to another week and another episode.
It's episode number 20! So it was only right that we do something different for this one we're introducing a new segment of this podcast called 'BOOK CLUB'
This is a monthly episode that will feature my friend Matt Karpinski. And every month we will choose a book to review and talk about in detail on this podcast. At the end of each episode we'll reveal what next month's book will be - so feel free to join along if you need something to read!

This month's pick was Matt's and he chose: Essentialism by Greg McKeown

"Essentialism is not about how to get more things done, it's about how to get the right things done. It doesn’t mean just doing less for the sake of less either. It’s about making the wisest possible investment of your time and energy in order to operate at your highest point of contribution by doing only what is essential."

We've all suffered some form of trauma from our childhood; I know I sure have. And recently, I announced that I was going to finally fulfill one of my childhood dreams, which was to write a fiction novel.
And after making that announcement a lot of different emotions and feelings started to surface, and they were uncomfortable. But upon reflecting on 'why' those feelings started arising, I realized it's because I was finally healing my terrified inner child, the one that I'd ignored for the better part of 17 years.

So this episode is all about the breakthroughs I had after announcing I was writing a book AND why you should let your inner child guild you in life. As well as ways to start healing yourself.

Hey guys, happy Tuesday!

This episode was recorded with my friend Cass who I actually met through Instagram when she reached out to me a couple of months ago. Cass is an amazing human who is not only a social worker but also a meditation teacher. So it was only fitting to get her on the podcast this week to talk about what actually meditation is and the how/why we should be incorporating it into our every day lives (pandemic or not)

No one wants to give up on something that they have been pursuing for years. No one wants to leave the person they have always envisioned their future with. No one ever really wants to admit defeat. Because all those things mean you’ve failed, right?
But sooner or later, life starts throwing obstacles at you to really test you. These obstacles are not here to hurt us. They are here to help us grow.
So this week, I want to talk to you about the signs you might be experiencing that could require you to take a step back and reevaluate your current situation. Because it might be time for you to start all over again.

Welcome back to another week and another episode!

Something I realised over the last few months is this issue I have with myself when it comes to 'fixing' people's problems. I've come to the realisation that not everyone is going to grow and it's not your job to force them too. We sometimes take it upon ourselves to sort out everyone else's problems instead of dealing with our own and this is something I've not only become aware of within myself but also drawing awareness to when space is required.

Hope you enjoy this episode!

So this is a little out of the ordinary which is why this episode is called a 'Sunday Special'. I had a morning of epiphanies that involved overcoming the feeling of fear then went for a run after my gut was telling me I had to go. Only to cross paths with a stranger who I would never have stopped for, but decided to give him 5 minutes of my time. And I got to know his story and that conversation with a guy who's name is Jett, may have just changed my life.

I used to always struggle with the concept of trying to let go of the things that are killing you, when it feels like it would kill you to let go.
I would rack my brain for hours trying to understand how you decide between ‘if things are meant to be, they will be’ and ‘if you want it, you have to go get it.’

In this episode I talk through the revelations I've had when it comes to understanding why nothing is really ever ours to hold onto and what happens when you have the awakening that life just is and things just are.

On today's episode I talk to one of my favourite people Lisa. Not only is she a stellar human being, but she's been slowly making a name for herself in the beauty industry.
One of the reasons I love speaking to Lisa is because her raw honestly about where she was and where she is now is what has made her see past just pretty faces and into who people really are on a deeper level.

We chat all things beauty, self acceptance and spiritual awakenings.

Hey hey! Welcome back to another week and another episode (Ep #10 to be precise!)
This week I talk about that three letter word that can be a S.O.B sometimes. That's right, EGO. It's that thing that tends to get in the way of us doing the things we actually want to be doing with our lives. I truly believe there is a massive misconception of what ego really is, which is why this week I talk through personal experiences but also teachings I've learnt from completing my yoga teaching training.

It's a topic that is always open for discussion - so hola at me if you want to start the conversation with me!

And as always, thanks for being here!

Suffering and pain are essential to life. You can’t experience true joy and happiness without experiencing sadness, pain, suffering, loss and all those other shitty feelings we try to run away from. It’s inevitable, at some stage in our lives, we’ll be forced to go through the suffering in order to get out the other side a better person.

This week I talk through the realisation I had about dealing with trauma and why I think it's our responsibility and ours only to heal ourselves of whatever trauma we've experienced whether it's at fault of someone else or self inflicted.

As always, thanks for being here and coming along on this journey!

Here's the truth: you will always feel worthless when you look for others to tell you that you’re good enough. If we are constantly seeking and chasing validation from other people or things, we'll be left hungry and seeking nourishment from everything that is outside of ourselves.

In today's episode I talk from personal experiences and breakdown why we tend to feel worthless and why we place so much value on other people's opinions rather than putting that kind of value on our own opinions or beliefs.

I met Lauren two years ago and she is someone who has had to overcome a lot of health issues in the two years I have known her. Her battle with Lyme disease after being diagnosed at the age of 23 has led Lauren down some dark places, but through her many ups and downs it has also lead her to find her true purpose in life which is to educate people about Lyme disease and help young people see that a body does not define you. Now a published author (and self proclaimed comedian) she shares her story of the highest of highs and lowest of lows.

Everyone experiences fear at some point in their lives.Fear is one of those topics I love to explore because it's often the thing that holds us back from unleashing our full potential. Growth begins at the end of our comfort zone so how do stop allowing our deepest and darkest fears take control of our lives and instead start embracing them and overcoming them?

In today's episode I talk about the art of not giving a damn about what other people think. This is something that's taken me YEARS to get to a point where I quite literally have very little f**k's to give about people's opinions on how I should be living my life.
But how? Well, not giving a damn about others opinions means giving a damn about what you think. It means acknowledging your own feelings and placing worth on them, instead of wondering so much about what others feel. So, you ready to stop giving a damn?
