This week David continued out sermon series looking at the life of Jacob. He talked about how God's command of "Get ready and move..." is a call to all of us. To return to the place of encounter and settle there.

This week Liz continued our series looking at the life of Jacob. She showed how Jacob's story is our story. When we were saved, we were given revelation of our brokenness, given a new name and identity and blessed with relationship with God.

This week we were joined by Howard Kellett, who continued our sermon series on Jacob.
He preached on how God transformed Jacob through the monotony of daily routines and encounter moments, and how we too can be changed through the Spirit of God.

This week Scott continued our sermon series on Jacob's Story. He told the story of the two sisters, a story of envy and competition.
He showed us that when Jesus came, he knew what it was like to be unattractive, unloved, overlooked, and despised. But, he found his security in his Father's love. And how we too can live like this as we have the holy spirit dwelling within us.

This week Andy continued our sermon series on Jacob's Story. He looked at how we are called living stones, to build God’s living house – his family, his people. And how we are anointed with the Holy Spirit, the Oil of God, poured out unstintingly upon our lives.

This week Tex continued our sermon series on Jacob's Story. He looked at what it means to wait well and the importance of taking moments to pause and look at who God is.

On Sunday Andy continued our Sermon Series in the book of James. He showed us that there are two systems, two ways of being, one heavenly, one worldly. And if we try and live in both, we'll go crazy. You can’t work for two bosses.

On Sunday we were joined by guest speaker Angela Kemm. She gave us two tips on how we must come to encounter Christ. We must choose to lay aside a wrong view of who we are, embrace what God has said about us in Ephesians 1, and come to receive Holy Spirit power.

On Sunday, Liz launched our new Sermon Series "Faith with Legs", looking at the Letter of James. We were encouraged to remain steadfast under trial and how trials aren't joyful but God can use them for our joy.

Jesus asked his disciples, where can we buy bread? One child's offering results in Jesus feeding 12,000. He feeds us and is patient with us, we are to be a people who offer nourishment, love and are patient.

Do you want to get well? Health and Wholeness. Asking God to heal you and praying for others to be healed.

Jesus asked them, what do you want? They replied where are you staying, meaning we want to get to know you. Come and see Jesus replies. Jesus gives his time and his friendship.

On Sunday evening Tex preached on how our culture says that being comfortable is the most important thing. Our culture says that we need put our needs before anything else. But Jesus says something a bit more uncomfortable and counter-cultural in the passage in Luke 9.
