Proverbs 4:23 calls us to protect our hearts because everything in life flows from there. This episode explains that the heart is the seat of your spirit and the command center of your destiny, and whoever has access to your ears can influence your life.
It warns that gossip, flattery, and false prophecy can damage the spirit more than physical attacks, and urges listeners to set boundaries—be careful with social media, casual prayers, and words from those without covenant. Stand guard and allow only the Spirit of God to have access to your inner sanctuary.
Romans 16, 17 says, Mark those who cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them. Let me say it again, avoid them. That's not suggestion, that's command. The most dangerous attack doesn't come from a loud enemy. It comes from a subtle whisper. The serpent didn't shout at Eve. He whispered, he questioned. He planted doubt with a single sentence. Did God really say? And from that whisper, humanity fell. Don't think for a second that the enemy's tactics have changed. He still uses whispers. That coworker who questions your calling, that friend who doubts your dream, that preacher who twists the scripture to fit culture instead of kingdom. Those are whispers designed to pull you out of alignment. You've got to train your spirit to recognize when the whisper doesn't belong to God. Everything that sounds spiritual is not spirit-led. Every encouragement is not divine counsel. And every whisper is not harmless, it's a seed. Avoid them, don't entertain the whisper. Because the whisper that you tolerate today will become the stronghold you wrestle with tomorrow.
Paul warns in 2 Timothy 4:3 that people will abandon sound doctrine for what pleases them. I am done with grad school, praise the Lord, so I can now turn my attention to the ministering of the Word. Amen. I'm so grateful.
On my heart tonight, as I was pondering and meditating in the Holy Scriptures, I want to share with you something I read out of Acts chapter 6, verses 1 through 7. I'm not going to read it in its entirety, but that's where I'm coming from. It talks about the early church when there was dissension among the widows. As the church grew and disciples multiplied, there arose contention between the Greek and Hebrew widows, who felt neglected.
The apostles recognized that they could not neglect the Word of God to serve tables. They decided to appoint seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, to oversee this business. This decision pleased the multitude, and they chose Stephen and others, whom the apostles laid hands on and prayed for.
This story highlights the importance of church leaders remaining focused on studying and ministering the Word, and being in prayer. When leaders are in a position to hear God and make good decisions, they can raise up and release the next set of leaders effectively. The appointed leaders must possess honesty, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and operate in wisdom.
Think about the decisions you've made in your personal life, business, or ministry. Have you appointed people who lack honesty, wisdom, or the Holy Spirit? The fallout from such decisions can lead to wounded people and division. It's crucial to pay attention to who is being appointed and why, ensuring they meet the qualifications of honesty, filled with the Holy Spirit, and wisdom.
When these attributes are present, it brings security, comfort, and confidence to the people, knowing they can trust those appointed leaders. Misalignment in these areas can lead to issues and challenges, but when we operate in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, we align with God's vision.
In summary, as your ministry grows, appointing the right people is essential to avoid neglect and ensure the work of God is done effectively. I pray this exhortation has been a blessing and has prompted you to reflect on your appointments and service. God bless.

An early morning experience taught me the powers of healing contained in worship. Many times we hear a song being ministered but fail to realize its efficacy in terms of how that song is sown in our spirit to sustain us in times of spiritual conflict. Taken from Genesis 4, this message discusses how anger opens doors to bitterness. We will see the effects of bitterness in our own lives and in the works of our hands. Take time to examine bitter areas in your life and ask the Father for the grace to heal so you don't forfeit your blessings or anything else God has in store for you.
It can be very tempting to disregard our assignments because things aren't progressing the way we thought. What makes matters worse is to feel as if God is moving in everybody else's life except yours. You will be tempted to take matters into your hands but I strongly discourage you from doing so. God has already set your time of manifestation. Let Him give the benediction on your assignment and then you can 'amen' from a place of accomplishment and good stewardship.
