In mid-2019, we set out with the idea of creating a podcast that was uniquely and respectfully our own; so we created “The Indian Perspective” Podcast. As we all know, life sometimes gets in the way, and honoring our product with the time it deserved proved difficult. We wanted a polished and beautiful product so we held back from producing without flair. As is every chapter of our lives, we love the original product we created, but wanted to revamp, refresh and start anew. Like a phoenix rising, we give you: Mindful Indians. On our podcast we’ll talk about a variety of topics ranging from what we have been reading, researching, experiencing along with our opinions on the status of the world around us at the moment. We will talk about the state of our culture, social design, financial independence, minimalism, relationships, life balancing, motivation, inspiration and various other topics. It's been a long time since we, Indians and Indian heritage folk spoke with love about India. With the western world not being as attractive of a place as it once was, let us ponder the idea of reconnecting with our motherland. The OCI card opens the door back up for you to do just that. Be a part of the story. Join me as a write the first page of your new love of India.
The Mindful Indians return on Holi. Resolutions, change, life improvements follow "resolutions of a new year". In context of the pandemic, two years have passed and restrictions are now lifted, mostly and as we return to life, we treat this moment like a new year. Listen in on how to embrace change and make it work in 2022.
The podcast returns in its new form: Mindful Indians.
It's been a difficult 18+ months. We are broken. Our minds have broken. Our society is broken. The economy is in shambles and on the brink of collapsing. We are divided and people are trying to navigate their way into the post-Covid world.
Raju challenges the idea of the work/life balance. Ponders the question of how healthy or in this case, unhealthy, our lives have become in respect to "work". The question presented: Is Hard Work Overrated? Listen in and find out.

In what would be its final episode in this form, Raju gives a solo take on the dilemma of facing time in isolation due to the coronavirus. He explains how this is a life changing opportunity to reflect and acknowledge changes you might want to take in your life. What's important to take from this is that "It’s okay to not have it all figured out."

The Reverie Episodes. A series of episodes that will be reoccurring where Raju explores ideas, thoughts or concepts that were either discussed in a main episode with Mandeep or just something he had on his mind.
The first episode in the Reverie series. Raju comes back to the discussion of social media and explores the psychology and biochemistry of social media. He discusses the benefit of using platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, but also discusses the negative sides. Throw in a little advice and motivation and the episode ends on a great note.

Well we give some historical building blocks that have led us to this current predicament.

Here we are on Episode 1: Social Design vs Personal Expression of the podcast series. You’ll hear a small introduction about both our backgrounds, interests and a bit about why we wanted to jump into the world of podcasting.
On our first topic we chose to tackle a construct that is unique to each of our own lives and a dilemma that we find many are battling. It is the concept of finding ourselves and our true identities in the world, all the while fighting the societal pressure that is telling us who we should be. Simply put the internal battle between social design expectations versus your true personal expression of your being.
We give some stories on how we have learned to respect this experience. All the while understanding that this internal struggle is a legitimate response and deserves honest attention but doesn’t need to control your life.
You will hear ideas on how we fought it and how the listeners can fight these social design pressures and cultivate our true selves and blossom our unique personal expression.
