We get self-care confused with self-indulgence way too often. Yes, it's important to take care of yourself, especially when you're experiencing burnout, but the question is HOW do you care for yourself? Are you spoiling the flesh or feeding your spirit?
Relationships teach us to love our friends and family the way they best receive love. How does God receive love? God deserves every piece of us and deserves to be loved the way HE wants to be loved!
I've never formally organized the episodes by season, but I'm going to start now with this season three intro! LHM started when I was 26 years old and wow, I'm about to be 30! I look forward to what God is going to reveal to us this season.
I am disgusted by the racism, violence, and wrongful deaths happening in our nation. I am frustrated, sad, and scared for my loved ones. Even though we cannot make sense of it, we cannot ignore it. In everything we do, let's be led by the Holy Spirit. The Lord says, "vengeance is mine" (Romans 12:15).
Join me as I discuss a little bit about the importance of spiritual maturity. We are meant to grow in Christ, not stay stagnant!
We say it all the time, "I'm not perfect"! Might I suggest that perfection isn't the goal....
Join me as I discuss generational curses and some practical first steps to overcoming them! We are set free by Jesus, we don't have to live under the heavy burden of these generational curses!
On this Resurrection Sunday, we can be distracted by family dinners, Easter egg hunts, or just trying to make this holiday as normal as possible during a time of quarantine. Today's episode is to remind you about the true reason we celebrate today, Jesus rose again! He was crucified on the cross, buried, and on the third day, He was resurrected. That's what makes Jesus different from the other leaders in other religions... Confucious is dead. Buddha is dead. JESUS LIVES! Spend some time with Jesus thanking Him today.
If someone followed you around all day, would they be able to tell you were a Christian? People should know who we serve and what we believe not because we’re screaming it from the rooftops, but because of our actions, how we treat one another, and the decisions that we make in our everyday lives. James 1:22-25
We are living in a crazy time right now with all that's happening with COVID-19, I felt led by the Holy Spirit to remind you all who is in charge. The Lord is speaking! What is He saying to you?
