Coronavirus Panic: Remember Peter

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The Coronavirus panic has now taken on a life of its own. We’re all now just passengers. It’s a very ncertain time for everyone. But remember the story of Jesus and the storm on the Sea of Galilee. While the disciples were in full blown panic, he was asleep in the back of the boat. Whatever else we know, we know that Jesus is not panicked by this crisis. Remember that as long as Jesus is in the boat, the boat won’t sink and the storm won’t last forever. Peter was even able to walk on the turbulent waters as long as he kept his eyes fixed on Jesus. It was only when he shifted his focus from the Lord to the waves that he began to sink. Let’s take all the things that worry us - our health, our families, our finances, our pensions - and take them out of our basket and put them in the Lord’s basket. He will take care of them for us.
