Well well well we’re back! Fashionably late as usual but we made it just like COVID into the community we go for 2022. We’ve enjoyed an extended summer break with a few classic stories to be told! The clinic that was orange light, who got a drink poured on them, someone passed out in the driveway, overly aggressive glass animal abuses opposition then breaks down! The Festive Season is among us! Sit back and enjoy your Weekend Warriors wrap up the year with our Christmas Special. The Summer of Cricket is officially underway! As is tradition NZ summer kicks off with Crate Day on Saturday to signal the start of summer. Unfortunately for a couple of the Warriors they will chasing leather instead of sinking piss. What a summer we’ve got lined up, The Ashes, Big Bash, NZ vs India 2nd Test and Super Smash all commencing over the weekend. This episode is for all those cricket stiffys out there that love nothing more the sound of ball on willow.
The Warriors are back with special guest Mitchell Hunt, current Highlander and Tasman Mako, ex Crusader, Blues 10s, NZ Under 20 World Cup Winner, and aspiring astronomer. Mitch join the fellas to chat shop, reviewing the NPC 2021, Mad Monday, that droppie, as well getting stuck into the segments with the boys. The theme this week is Flatting, chuuune in to hear punt, pork, propose - as the Warriors and Mitch decide between living with the boys, having girls in the flat or living with the miso! Plenty of laughs and honesty in this one!
Allez les bleu allez! The French with another famous victory over the ABs and probably their most dominant. The Warriors are out for blood this week they want fozzie gone and razor in! Code is done for 2021. All your usuals involved this week, our Masked Man makes back to back appearances to review the NPC finals. Len talks a bit of F1 and horses, Jack comes up with some cricket chat and Stobes well only he knows what the faark he’s up too!
The Masked Man reveals himself and joins the lads for a yarn to discuss this weekends code. It’s the final weekend of code for the year! As usual Len goes rogue with his tips this weekend, France 1-12 , punting on kiwi races . Hit It or Knick It is back with a new fan submission, an appropriately timed question as The Varsity Warriors kick off their preseason against the Takapuna Pirates on Saturday! The theme for this week is Kiwi Summer, Aunty’s announcement of December 15th release date has the Warriors excited at the prospect of getting out! We talk Top 5, Punt Pork Propose, and Rate it or Hate it.
The Warriors certainly don’t back up like they used to. A dismal display by the Caps has one Warrior in particular feeling a bit dark. We take a walk down memory lane to discuss some of the greatest chokes in sporting history this week! Mr Anonymous is back with Hit It or Knick It, does he take Len’s advice and go rogue or does he toe the line and keep Jack and Nick happy? Tune in because it certainly causes a stir.
Aunty Cindy has allowed outdoor gatherings of up to 25 people from multiple bubbles and the Warriors take full advantage. Social distancing is encouraged but the boys are fully vaxxed, tested negative for covid, but tested positive for missing the boys and shit chat! Stobes gets claustrophobic being stuck in the middle, but the boys are dreaming of holidays this week. We review the Caps victory over England before looking ahead at the weekends sport. All sorts of chat flying around this week with Big Len hurting Windles feelings at the end of the poddy so don’t tune out too early
What a bloody weekend we had in the 09. Sun was out and the Warriors were living their best lives… well at least Len was. Self Appointed Warrior of the Weekend. In light of the latest Instagram trend, the theme this week is pets. With some interesting selections arising. As usual we cover off a big weekend of sport with Jack letting the boys know just how good he is at picking Horses going 3/3.
Len and Zaaki are back in action this weekend! Providing great value to the punters as usual. Another big weekend of sport, a packed NPC and international Rugby schedule, another banging UFC card, the F1 stops into Mexico for some Tequila and Tacos, of course Len confidently tips out a $17 roughie that is on debut! Go the Warriors!
Len is MIA and Christy O'Brien (COB) makes his long awaited debut.
Critics early feedback say COB makes a fine addition to the team and Len missing two episodes in a row makes for a forgotten sailor, lost at sea.

With some questionable purchases and fashion decisions occurring through lockdown we thought it was appropriate to delve back and take a look at some of the great fashion crimes that occurred growing up! T20 World Cup Preview. Big Len and Stobes are left to their own devices as they preview the T20 World Cup. We take a look at the teams, who’s gonna win, what the likely semis and final will look like as well who our top run scorers and wicket takers for the tournament are. The theme this week is the All Blacks, in lieu of the All Blacks and Springboks meeting for the 100th time in their history this weekend, the warriors look back at some of their favourite All Blacks.
