It is our role to seek and search out the matters God has concealed.
Seeking to stay in step with the savior and creator of the world is our primary job as humans.
“God what are you saying and doing?” is what we need to be asking.

Those who love your word have great peace, and NOTHING causes them to stumble.
Life is full of things that want to trip us up. Why are you tripping? What are you tripping on? Did you see the roadblock coming and trip over it anyway? Maybe you are navigating the obstacles without the right focus. Maybe you need to change your focus. Don’t make it so much about where you are going, but who you are going with. You want to spend time with those you love. You want to spend time doing the things you love.

This means war! Jesus was finalizing His warfare readiness. Now that I think about it, this is exactly what God was trying to teach me in the early days of being full of the Holy Spirit. I was charged and alive, full of life like never before when the attack came. I remember not knowing how to handle it. It was like my mind was taken over and assaulted, and I had no power to refute the lies that were in my head.

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

There is beauty in the new. The old is gone. The past and its problems are no longer.
What’s better than that? The old man is gone. The person is gone, the new person is here.
But how? Faith.
Faith Transforms the old to new. Belief in what Jesus accomplished and how it impacts you personally has the power to literally make you a new person. The old dies. The new awakens.

How could I unless someone GUIDES me?
Guidance is key. Desire to seek the Spirit is a gift from above. God can grant you the will to want to seek Him. Guidance by the Spirit is the ultimate path. A life yielded and divinely guided is the gateway to every good thing. The Spirit sends His Spirit as a Guide. The Spirit sends others to help Guide. The guides are key to unlocking the indwelling of the Spirit.

The enemy is telling a story to everyone. The intention of the story is to get you to stop following God’s plan for your life. He uses intense and grotesque accusations and allegations to get you and others to question your motivation. If you doubt your own intentions, you open the door for Fear to FAKE YOU OUT.
When FEAR FAKES YOU OUT, you end up quitting or, if nothing else, slowing down. The enemy is trying to kill your progress. He wants your forward movementum annihilated. When you keep going in the direction of obedience to your calling, the enemy loses ground and he loses souls.
He hates that, so he seeks to use FAKE FEAR to cause you to FALL OUT.

The clear call is for each person and family to build and repair the brokenness right in front of them. Each family builds in front of their own house. It’s the easiest way to divy up the labor.
As they are putting up the wall little by little, the opposers ridicule and attempt to discourage those who are working, but with specific focus the workers overcome the haters.
When haters come, we cannot allow them to steal our focus. We have to stay the course. They did this by picking up shields and shovels. We are called to be warriors who work, watch and worship at the same time.
We need to rally the Crew to do this too.

When you take a look around your life, do you see brokenness that needs repair? Nehemiah did too. The sacred land was desolated. People were in great distress. Life was full of brokenness. Jerusalem was sacred territory but the walls of defence were torn down, the gates had been desecrated.
How will you respond to this brokenness? Do you think up your own plan, or will you seek the Lord to find out what He wants you to do? Nehemiah fasted, mourned, prayed, repented, and made himself available to God to do His will.

You and I don’t know what we TRULY NEED. We don’t know what’s best for this day let alone the future. Come on, let’s be real here. How would you know what you need when you have no idea what’s coming next. If a snowstorm is on the way, you don’t need a new bathing suit. You need a blanket. God knows what you need. You know what you want. He knows what you need. That’s why Jesus’ teaching about prayer is so important. It gives us a template for the process of prayer that can transform our lives.
