We head to Maine for a week to avoid the heat and the adventures never stop. Dead batteries, cold ocean, fog banks, bad movies, pot blocked by bureaucracy, this episode has it all!

Please excuse the fluctuating sound quality of this episode. I was in the bus but the windows were open and every truck for miles decided to go by while I was recording and they got every bird in the area to sing at the top of their lungs. And my cat kept brushing the mic. I couldn't win. XD
With Corona ramping up, we are finding a place to hunker down. And it's not as easy as we had hoped.

I missed a week with the Thanksgiving Holiday and I'm a couple of days late so this is an extra big catch-up on the last two weeks. We've had snow, an insurance update, more cabinets built, a bathroom mostly finished and more. Always an adventure with Vault 211.
This was one of the most challenging weeks of our conversion story, but it had a pretty happy ending. More melancholy than usual, but the bus life spirit is not lost.
Another eventful week working on Vault 211. So eventful my husband had to come in and help me tell the story of the batteries. Then updates on things done and cabinets made.
This week we finish up some more plumbing related stuff, the weather changes for the worse, the dog complicates matters, and we get our first visit from City Parking Enforcement! It was a fun-filled week full of small victories and minor complications.
This last week wasn't the most grand in progress but we're still moving forward. And a great hurdle that has plagued us the whole bill has been lept!
This is my longest episode yet and is chock full of progress and a healthy dose of uhms, ands, uhs and a few buts and sos just to round things out. It's been a long, long two weeks and I'm doing my best to be coherent. LOL
We started the plumbing only to realize, I needed to frame in the bed and he needed to clean the underbus storage. Everything leads to everything on a bus...
We get a lot of pluming deliveries, We put in the flooring and I recaulk the windows again. Because I'm a moron. Enjoy.
A quick update, time is getting so short! Tempers are flaring, the garage is full of crap and the bus floor is covered in sawdust! AAHH!!
This week I recount the trials and tribulations of our bus painting adventure. I'm a little mellow and a little off-kilter this episode due to a minor mishap at the gym that pulled my back and pain tend to make me either really mellow or really cranky. You all got lucky! Whee, so much fun!

More progress is made on the bus but since the bus was at the dealership for six days, these two weeks activities are combined into one action-packed episode-o-rama! Okay, maybe it's not THAT exciting, but still, two weeks become one episode.
I detail what got done in week one of our bus conversion. There are triumphs, there are defeats, but always, there is enthusiasm for the adventure!
