Guitarist and Singer-Songwriter Dave Isaacs has rocked for the hippies in the mud at Woodstock, performed a solo guitar recital in a cathedral, played the blues on Beale Street, and shared a Manhattan club stage with Les Paul. He has released 14 albums over 25 years, carving out a rootsy melodic, guitar-driven sound with side trips into jazzy blues, folk and ambient instrumental sounds. On his latest release “Songs Without Words”, his nylon-string guitar leads the way through twelve intimate, cinematic tone poems, supported by a cast of guest musicians.
Roots Music Report calls him “a master musician”, and in his adopted home of Music City USA he has become known as the “Nashville Guitar Guru”, a teacher and coach to professional performers, hit songwriters, and the next generation of Nashville’s rising stars.

Sims’ music echoes the work of the 90's alternative rock movement by incorporating various genres of music as a palette to paint different styles of imagery into his music. The vocal styles of Rob Thomas are woven into his work, which are vocal melodies that both compliment, and are complimented by, the music. The diversity of his voice allows him to traverse from high energy, Foo Fighters-esque rock songs, to soft, Goo Goo Dolls style ballads that reach for deeply buried emotions. His songs also have a grand scale to them, built to fill arenas in a similar scale to that of a U2 or Oasis anthem.
Sims’ music has been featured on radio stations in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina as well as online radio stations and podcasts. He has played shows in Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and the Carolinas, and opened for several national acts including: Puddle of Mudd, Saving Abel, Like a Storm, Adema, Trapt, 12 Stones, Smile Empty Soul, Otep, Taproot, Hurt, Kip Winger, Faster Pussycat, and The Dreaming. Will Sims is sure to impact you in more ways than one with his music.

Built on bold love and a fierce sense of interdependence, Now Defunkt emerged out of lockdown as a creative collective producing primordial soundbox of the soul shifts with a twist of lemon. Given the realities that we have all been living through, we are hoping to give a resonant nod to this good creation and shift our collective focus towards deep hanging out and restoration.
At the beginning of the pandemic, three friends – Scott Macklin, Steve McMahon, and James Hunter with the help of their super groovy children – Nikko, Case, Anastasia, Amaris, Aeden, and some amazing friends released an album titled Skills Are Handy, Feel is Gold. The album art depicted the image of a girl running off of a cliff while flying a kite and not knowing if her fate was to fly or fall. We now move into our next phase with the release of Shifting Into a Lower Gear with the image of the girl who is now a bit older floating through liminal space with faith and balloons as her ballast and fuel.
If there's one thing you can count on when listening to a Now Defunkt song, it's that you're in for a wild musical ride. Just when you think you know where the music is headed and what genre it most closely correlates with, we dig deep into our vivid jam adjacent jar of funkt sauce to keep you on your toes, and it's this intentionally accidental vibe that keeps each Now Defunkt song feeling fresh.

Chris Lewington has been a musician since his early teens when he first picked up the guitar. His first love was not pop or rock music but movie themes and his earliest musical heroes were the likes of Ennio Morricone and John Barry. Later in his teens, listening to the singer- songwriters of the time he started to write songs. “It struck me how someone like Paul Simon or Leonard Cohen could wrap complex themes of love, life and existence up in just a 3 or 4 minute tune with a timeless melody”
Ready for the stage Chris started his first band, called The Silence, in the early 80s and released his first singles, “A Car in Denmark” and “The Hangman’s Beautiful Daughter,” The Silence also feature alongside the likes of Julian Cope on the the cult compilation, “A Splash of Colour”, that followed the early 80’s psychedelic revival.
By the mid-eighties Chris had formed The Bicycle Thieves, which had a similar style to REM and Lloyd Cole. With The Bicycle Thieves, Lewington penned the singles “Ghostdance” and “Louise,” both of which received airplay on Radio 1. “Louise” would go on to win the 1989 TDK Songwriter Award. Another single, “Waterfront” received a lot of airplay and some notice on the UK Charts. Chris also got the chance to work with the renowned producer Tony Visconti during this period.
In the early 90s, Chris returned to his singer- songwriter roots as he started a new project called The Famous Blue Raincoats, a folky acoustic style band that performed in smaller sized venues in and around London. A compilation album of their work is available now on streaming sites. During the 90s and 2000s, Chris concentrated on writing new material to pitch to publishers.
It was not until 2018 that Chris set aside time to finally release his first official full- length album as a solo artist. “Technology had advanced to the point that you could make decent recordings for release using just a laptop and recording in your own home”. Hence the title of the album, Landells Road, named after the street where it was recorded, and as a sort of homage to The Beatles’ Abbey Road. The retro amalgam of stylistic sounds found on Landells Road reflects Lewington’s love of classic artists such as The Beatles, Love and Scott Walker as well as contempories like Bon Iver, Calexico and First Aid Kit
Chris's second album “Riverside" was released on the 10th August 2020. Like Landells Road the album was entirely produced and performed by Chris using just a laptop in a bed room. The title is again after the road in which he lived. This time there was perhaps a more pastoral feel to the album now that Chris had moved to the countryside by the river. There was a very English feel to much of the record including songs about the PreRapaelites and a setting of a Rupert Brookes poem. There was also more of a 70's singer songwriter sound to many of the tracks. But still that classic and timeless songwriting feel through all of the 12 new tracks. .
This year Chris continues to record and release music with singles Colour Her Gone, You Better Go Your Own Way, Tears From A Loaded Gun, Small Neck and It's Going To Be Okay on release and available to stream on on all digital platforms. The tracks will also feature on the new album" Starfish Memories" along with other tracks reflecting both the personnel and world events.

You are about to hear a short story about four people, the story is about three men and one woman who either made or almost made Retirement a Death Sentence. The characters in this story are 65-year-old Len, 68-year-old Fred, 79-year-old Mark, and 62-year-old Caroline, the one thing they all had in common was they were all retired, but they all lived life during retirement much differently.
Part 1 - Len – 65 years old – Worked as a Network Technician
Len is the first one I want to tell you about because he worked on a job for 32 years, now he is 65 and the company gave him an ultimatum, either resign with a special payout or get terminated, because he is getting to the point where the job is too demanding as he do not finish his duties on a regular basis. Even though he couldn’t keep up he was still the first person at the office. He arrived every morning at 6am even though he was not supposed to be there until 8am.
Part 2 - Fred - 68 years old – Worked as a Custodian
Fred had been a Custodian for different companies over the years, but he never had any extended periods of unemployment there were always a job waiting if he got laid off, terminated, or quit. He loved working because it made him feel useful. Fred had a hard life because the women he chose always used him and never really loved him, they loved that he worked a full-time job as a Custodian then mow yards and maintain lawns on the weekends. The women he had been married to or long term relationship with never worked so Fred was always the one who worked so being retired was going to be both a mental and financial issue for him.
Part 3 - Mark – 79 years old – Worked as a City Bus Operator
Mark is a married man, but he loves to flirt with younger women, he had the perfect job to meet lots of women. As a city bus operator, he would come in contact with over 30 single or unhappily married women per day. Mark had a good Wife because for over 30 years she was waking up at 2:30am to cook his breakfast that she would serve with coffee so he could leave at 3:30am, he shift started at 5:00am and his job was about one hour away from where they lived.
Part 4 - Caroline – 62 years old – Worked as a Teacher
Caroline’s Husband had left her for a younger woman and after he left it was hard for her to concentrate as a Teacher so at 62 years old, she decided to retire early. Caroline thought once she was retired, she would have more time to spend with her family especially her grandchildren, it started out that way but then everyone had something else to do. It got so boring for her, so she got some cats, I don’t know where she got the cats from but the last time I counted, she had over 15 cats.

The latest release by Keez MC is ‘The Truest’. The track isn’t too over produced, leaving that real and raw sound. As he says in the track, he’s an independent artist that doesn’t believe in record labels. Something we can get behind for sure here. The beat is relaxed and allows Keez none stop lyrical flow to stand up strong.

Byzantine is a new edgy Hip Hop group from Baltimore and Philadelphia whose music represents a light in a dark period. Adopting monikers of Saints of the Byzantine Era, these masterful artists use cautionary tales, songs of hope and good vibes paired with grit from the streets to offer a refreshing aura to the world of Hip Hop.
The four artists who make up the group are St Justinian, St. Leo, St. Phocas and St. Zeno. Together they’re introducing their unique sound and style to the world with their second single “WATER”. “WATER” is the follow up single to the group’s lit first single “ILL,” which was featured on SWAY in the Morning, BET/MTV Jams, DTF Radio, Air it Out Radio and various other mix shows throughout the country.
When asked for the meaning of their latest single “WATER”, each member gives their perspective of the song which; echoes the same profound message; “Water” is about making the change in one’s life that takes you out of harm’s way.
According to St. Phocas, the big picture for the group is creating music that is thought-provoking, aggressively challenging, and inspiring through its personal and sometimes convicting messages.
“We want people to understand we’re not talking about the same things everybody else is talking about,” St. Phocas said. “We’re not degrading our women or our brothers and sisters. We’re making songs that sound good and have a deeper message.”
“Each of us individually has a different sound,” St. Leo said. “I’m more laid back, while St. Zeno and St. Phocas are more animated than myself. When we come together, we blend well together. We’re all carrying each other, and we all bring that same level of talent to the table.” Official Website

I learned a lot about my Mother, I even learned why her friends nicknamed her Hot Chocolate. I listened to her story and I also know why her heart turned from Hot to Warm then to Cold based on the things she went through and the things she had to deal with. Betrayal, Kidnapping, Divorce and Homelessness.
Hot Chocolate is a Female who loves a good cup of Hot Chocolate 365 days a year, she loves it so much until people often compare her to a cup of Hot Chocolate that is not Hot anymore. She doesn't like to call it Hot Cocoa because she likes to think of it as Melted Milk Chocolate in a Cup.
Hot Chocolate is a nice person but because so many people has taken advantage of her kind heart, she is no longer a Hot Cup of Chocolate in fact she is not even a Warm Cup of Chocolate she is the coldest cup of Chocolate anyone has ever been around.
Hot Chocolate’s real name is Sandra Street, her Mother named her that because they were living on a street named Sandra Street. Hot Chocolate always wanted to ask her Mother why she named her Sandra Street just because that was the name of the street where they lived.
Hot Chocolate has two sons, Lee Davis is twenty-four years old, and one year old DeShawn Street. Hot Chocolate is forty-three years old, and she is trying to teach both her sons about life to make sure they don’t make the same mistakes she made.
A lot of things happened in her life, but the most recent downfall was the struggle she went through being a forty-two year old pregnant woman as everyone looked at her as being too old to have another child.
The story starts with her calling her twenty-four year old son and asking him to come over so she can talk to him about life, being in love, breaking up, friends, saving money and the value of credit.

It’s no surprise the question we receive most often from podcasters is, “How do I grow my audience?” You’ve spent time and effort planning and creating your first episodes, or maybe you’ve already built up a solid catalog. But you might be lacking an audience size to match the quality of your podcast.
If so, you’re not alone. Putting your podcast out there is a major first step—not to mention a great accomplishment. But word of mouth alone will only get you so far. To get your podcast in the ears of more listeners, you have to take the necessary steps to reach them.
That’s why we put together these tips for growing your podcast audience—because whether you’ve had a show for a while or are just starting out, everyone’s story deserves a chance to be heard.
Target your specific audience
Before you commit to any particular growth strategy, try to narrow down your intended audience. While you may be thinking, “My podcast is for everyone!” keep in mind the key to growing your listeners is to find your niche. Rather than casting a wide net, pinpoint the unique value your podcast brings to the world and consider the audience who is most likely to listen to (and benefit from) your show.
The more specific your topic is, the easier it will be to identify and appeal to your audience. For example, the “Growing Up Halal” creators speak to a very specific community that they identify with: young Muslim-American women who feel they don’t have an adequate platform or representation.
Similarly, Angela Belt’s podcast, “The Mood Board,” focuses on the “intersection of race, culture, and interior design”—a concept very specific and unique to her interests and identity.
If your show switches topics, genres, and tones, you may want to narrow your focus in order to attract consistent listeners.
Research your podcast audience
In what part of the world do they live? What are their interests? What other podcasts do they listen to? Anchor’s built-in analytics can help you track down demographic data and trends with your current listeners—dig as deep as you can to put yourself in the mind of your audience.
Do your own research to find out where your listeners are most active online. Do they use social media platforms? Do they follow particular hashtags or subreddits? Figuring out where your audience already engages will help you learn where and how to reach them. You can start by asking your listeners via an Anchor Q&A or Poll.
Connect with your listeners
Once you’ve identified your audience, it’s time to connect with them. Some platforms might deserve more attention than others depending on your audience, don’t be shy about where you promote your show. Connecting with your listeners starts with getting the word out on any and all channels where you can reach them.
Focus on building a community around your podcast. By creating opportunities for listeners to engage with your podcast and each other, you can foster a sense of community that’s rewarding to be a part of and builds a dedicated following.

Dubb city Was Given a chance to experience what it was like to be on tour opening up for former Roc-A-Fella Artist Young Steff and this experience pushed him to become a more groomed and more developed artist. Meanwhile his other two brothers N.I.T.Z. and Trilly were learning to become artists themselves by writing and recording at a very low budget home studio that they invested in themselves. Dubb City heard and liked what he was hearing, so he decided to Add his element to they're rough and unpolished, but yet interesting sound. Now keep in my mind that these three never had any intent on becoming a hip hop group until one fateful night magic was a created in the comfort of their own home studio! a record they recorded called wat dey talking bout Feat. Kannon set the stage and forced the three brothers to unite and take this hip hop genre by storm! On this very night Torrez was born. They went from Torrez to Torrez Soundz and now Torrez Soundz Ent. the reason for this is because their talents do not only lie in music alone. they also have the ability to entertain and inspire you in all other creative ways as well. #TorrezSoundzEnt #BornToWin
When you step into my world, you step into a world of a man who is nothing like anyone you have ever known nor ever will. This world of mine is like no other and it's a world of grim, gloom, beauty, love, hate and contradiction! Therefore, I truly implore you to be very careful before stepping inside and please understand that when you do step in. You will embark on a journey along with a man who is on an important mission that will be met! Not only will that mission be met, but destiny will also be fulfilled as well.
