Hey everyone!!! It’s been awhile….like almost 2 months🙈😅 I had to take some time off to regroup and refocus on what God has for my life, and how He wants me to use this platform going forward. So, today I’m just gonna catch you guys up on what’s been going on in my life and talk about my struggle with anxiety these past few months.
The story of Eve is usually seen as the story of “where the first human beings went wrong.” Eve messed everything up for us, right? (Remember Adam was responsible too.) But Eve is more than just the first person to get it wrong. She is, actually, a picture of all of us, a picture of some of our moments of doubt and even our moments of anxiety. And what we’re gonna learn from her today is that these things don’t have to define us.
Hannah is a woman in the Bible who dealt with so much adversity in her life, yet she continued seeking out the Lord. Hannah was barren, taunted by another woman, and was angry with God. But despite Hannah’s challenges, she was determined to surrender and submit everything to the Lord. She prayed through her pain and resolved to continue to trust God. Hannah is GOALS!! I aspire to have the same faith and willingness to submit to the Lord, just like her.
Did you know there’s only two books in the entire Bible that are named after women: Esther and Ruth. And today we’re gonna be focusing all on Ruth!! Ruth is also one of few women who are mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus, which is found in the book of Matthew. And this was during a time when women weren’t usually included in genealogies. All that to say, Ruth is a pretty special woman and I’m so excited to talk about her and just ramble :)
There are so many amazing women in the Bible that we’re gonna dig deeper into this next season. But first, we’re gonna start off with Mary! You may think that’s a little odd, because all we really know her for is giving birth to Jesus Christ…..so what else could we possibly learn from her life? Well, today we're gonna go over some of the lessons God’s Word has taught me through the life of Mary.
Do you procrastinate sometimes? I know I absolutely do! Whether that be with school, work, or even with some of the things God calls us to do. Anyway, today we’re gonna be talking about ‘Procrastination’. And how a ‘Godly Grit’ is the antidote for it.
I know it’s been awhile since an episode has been uploaded, but I’M BACK!!! Anyway, today we’re just gonna read through a short devotional and talk a lil bit about it.
As flawed human beings , we have a pattern of trying to be comfort seekers, and not so much cross bearers. Today we’ll be discussing how many Christians and even the church try to make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible. Long story short, this needs to stop. Isn’t love such a beautiful thing? Ya know….when two people fall in love with each other and spend the rest of their lives together? Just thinking about love makes me so excited and even have butterflies. Anyway, today we’re gonna be talking all about “LOVE” and how to fall in love with Jesus more and more each day. So let's go ahead and dig a lil bit deeper into this topic of love, so we can figure out how to fall in love with Jesus. Instagram: @the.gospel.and.love
I did an episode just like this when I first started this podcast. And if you remember I said “I don’t have a favorite life Bible verse.” I then explained because every time I read the Bible I find something new that literally amazes me. So like I said in the past episode, I have a favorite Bible verse for the week. Anyway, today I’m gonna go through a few Bible verses that I really love and explain them. Also, make sure to head over to my Instagram to enter into the giveaway.
Humans make compromises a lot in life, but oftentimes Christians and the Church compromise their beliefs, faith, and how we seek truth. So, today we’re just gonna chat a lil bit about why Christians compromise, how they compromise, and how to deal with a culture that constantly wants you to compromise.
What does it mean to ‘Walk In Love’ ? Well, we’ll learn the answer to that in question in a short devotional. Along with how we can start walking in love on a regular basis.
Communication with God is so important! The most important ways to communicate with God is through prayer and His Word. But personally, my favorite way to communicate with God is through His Word when I have my personal Bible Study. So today we’re gonna talk about how to have a productive Bible Study, and I’ll even share some tips and tricks.
The world has placed so many standards on what is considered beautiful, which can be toxic at times. So today we’re gonna discuss what beauty really is, how we sometimes define beauty and how God defines beauty.
How do I find an unshakable identity? This is a question I struggled with for awhile, because I would often place my identity and value in the things I achieved. I would put my hope in what I might one day be able to achieve, rather than in Christ. So, let’s dig a lil bit deeper into this topic of identity, as we read a devotional from the Proverbs31 Ministries. Instagram: @the.gospel.and.love
We all have struggled with this at some point in our lives, especially because the given state of the world right now. Loving your enemies is a very countercultural thing to do, but as Christians it is a command. But still, questions are often raised on this topic, and we’re gonna discuss all of this today.
