We are a pair of identical twins who grew up side by side, but in adulthood took very different paths. Though we share many similarities, many core experiences and perspectives we each hold are opposites. We will be diving deep in to things we are passionate about including films, books, religion, and philosophy and openly conversing about their meanings and effects on us and the world. Hopefully some of our discussion and insight will get you thinking deeper and in new ways too.
In this chapter we dig into what life is like as a Theist and an Atheist and review what we've learned and how we've grown through the process of going through the 10 chapters of The God Delusion.
In this chapter we dive into Childhood indoctrination from communities and religion. We look at Dawkin's idealistic proposal and then dig into what we see in reality and what we've experienced from being raised in the Mormon religion.
In this episode we dive into the faith/logic scale and how we approach religions and communities at a Micro level. Fundamentalism is scrutinized as well as the benefits/deficits of allowing faith to be a factor in how we interact with the world.
In this episode we dive into Chapter 7 of The God Delusion where we explore the what we are able to gain from scripture as well as what we should be considering when engaging them. We also look into what benefit we gain from allowing other text/media to influence our daily lives and the way we view and interact with the world from a theist and an atheist perspective.
