You know what? When I wrote the last book – Bruwaa, which I published last year, I didn’t have a goal of writing it, but once I thought about it, I wrote it and published it! You should have a goal, but your goal doesn’t have to be in writing. For achieving goals, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. You can still make your goal, even if it isn’t written down. 2. Goals Have to Be Big to Be Worthwhile One of the biggest myths about goal setting is that you need to have big, lofty goals for them to be worthwhile. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Hey, smaller goals can often be just as effective and sometimes more achievable. Big goals can seem intimidating and overwhelming, which can prevent us from even starting. Breaking down our goals into smaller, more manageable steps can help us stay on track and make progress. Plus, achieving those smaller goals can give us the confidence boost we need to keep going. Rather than setting an ambitious goal like “start a business” or “get a promotion”, set smaller goals that are related. For example, if your ultimate goal is to start a business, your smaller goals could include researching potential business ideas, writing a business plan, or finding a mentor who has experience in the field. Each of these tasks should have a specific time frame attached to them so you can track your progress. By breaking down your goals into smaller steps, you’ll still be working towards the same end goal but without feeling overwhelmed. 3. You Need to Know Exactly What You Want Setting goals can often seem intimidating because you feel like you have to know exactly what you want before you even start. But that’s not the case at all! You don’t have to have a perfect plan for achieving your goals in order to start the journey. Truth is, it’s perfectly normal (and recommended) to start with a general idea of what you want and then build from there. When you don’t have all the answers, don’t let that stop you from getting started. You can always adjust and refine as you go. Start by writing down the outcome that you want. What do you ultimately want to achieve? Once you’ve identified that, ask yourself some questions: What resources or skills do I need to reach my goal? What steps do I need to take to get there? Who can help me? These questions will help you develop a clearer picture of what you need and how to get there. As you answer each question, jot down any ideas or insights that come up. You don’t have to have all the answers right away. This is just an opportunity to gather more information so that you can move forward. Your goal doesn’t have to be perfectly defined when you start. As long as you have a clear idea of the outcome that you want, that’s all you need. The rest will come together as you go. 4. You Need to Set a Deadline. Goals Must be Time-Bound! One of the most common myths about goal-setting is that you need to set a deadline for achieving them. Many people think that setting a goal without a deadline just isn’t enough and that there needs to be a specific time frame within which you must reach your goal. However, this is not necessarily true. It’s important to understand that deadlines are just one part of the process of goal setting, and they are not always necessary. Having a rigid timeline can actually hinder your progress in some cases. When setting goals, it’s important to take into consideration the time and effort it will take you to achieve them. If you have an unrealistic timeline, then you are more likely to become discouraged if you don’t reach your goal as quickly as you had hoped. Furthermore, if your timeline is too restrictive, it could also lead to burnout or even frustration as you try to cram too much into too little time. On the other hand, having a loose timeline can be beneficial. Having an idea of when you’d like to achieve a goal gives you something to work towards, but it also allows you to adjust your plan if something unexpected comes up or if you realize that the timeline needs to change for any reason. At the end of the day, it’s important to remember that deadlines should not be a source of pressure when it comes to goal setting. 12 Things to Dare in 2022 “Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” ― Andre Gide There comes a time in our lives that we must step out of our comfort zones and prisons and get into new territories.  We all have some areas that we need to Dare to venture into in the coming year. So, today I present to you some ideas for daring discoveries. Go through and give it a shot. 1. Dare to Break mental strongholds It all begins in the mind. Your mind is either your prison or palace. Several people have been stopped not by demons but by their own beliefs: self-limiting believes. So many “I can’t” block the flow of possibilities. To do and have more, one must first believe. Expand your capacity to receive. Sometimes we place a cap on what we can achieve based on our past failures, which ought not to be so. Until one breaks self-imposed barriers in the mind, success becomes a wild goose chase. Believe you can and work towards it. See it first in your mind then work towards it.  “Don’t let mental blocks control you. Set yourself free. Confront your fear and turn the mental blocks into building blocks.” ― Dr. Roopleen 2. Dare to Raise the bar on yourself Truth be told, unless you deliberately upgrade yourself and see the worth in you, people will always treat you less than you deserve. They will devalue you and underpay you. You must dare to make a conscious effort at all costs to work harder on yourself, become a better person in your niche. I believe you are capable of achieving more. Place a demand on yourself, sacrifice more and stretch to reach for great heights. Dare to Write a book Writing may not come easily for everyone, however, everyone has a story, an experience, lessons to share. This may be the best time to write that book for you. Your story needs to be heard. Whether aiming at becoming a bestseller or not, make it a goal to share your story, lessons, strategies, and thoughts with the world. Listen, you may be helping someone you may never meet or know. Just start writing. At best hire a ghostwriter to professionally help you with your book. 4. Dare to go on a date If you’ve been postponing the idea for the date, now might be a good fit to give it a shot. Yeah either married or single, you can just pick a location to go spend some quality time with yourself, your spouse, fiancée, or family. It makes a lot of difference. Hey, why don’t you dare ask that person you’ve been admiring all this while for a date? You may be lucky, dare, go for it! 5. Dare to Travel/ tour/ retreat/ vacation Travelling opens are a new world of possibilities, to meet people of diverse cultures, lifestyles, and beliefs. It offers you an opportunity to learn and have fun. Perhaps, you have never traveled outside your village, town, city, or country. This may be the time to do so. Plan for that trip today. Additionally, Dare to Go on a retreat! You also deserve some vacation. Go out of town, find a serene place to meditate, have deeper soul searching, pray and commune with God. 6. Dare to learn a language Language is a very powerful communication tool, if you are at least multilingual the better. Learning a new language can be empowering, just add one more you your list. 7. Dare to go back to school/ learn a Skill Dare to go back to school, either online or offline. You may think it is too late but hey! No! You can still take that course.  Learn something new. Upgrade yourself. Find out what skills are needed in your industry and learn. It offers you more opportunities in life. Skills get you hired. If necessary, make it happen this year. Make inquiries and pick a form. 8. Dare to Start a business (side hustle) It is a good practice to have multiple streams of income. It makes life worth living and lightens the pressures of life. Starting a side gig may not be for everyone, but the idea of trying something on your own has many wells of lessons one can draw from. You may need an extra income or may have plans for a startup business. Just begin, get the needed resources and launch out. 9. Dare to hire an expert Yes! You cannot do it all on your own and certainly cannot master everything in your lifetime. So to save you some time and money, you must hire experts in areas that can help complement what you do. Dare to delegate and focus on the things you can handle effectively and efficiently. Successful people leverage experts to help them succeed. 10. Dare Start to foster a child You may want to start a family and possibly raise children or perhaps just want to foster a child. Whatever your family goals are, Dare to make it happen. If you’ve been planning on settling down and the right time is up, go ahead don’t keep postponing it. Prepare for wonderful family life. How to Recover from a Personal, Celebrity Brand Fall. “For a just man falleth seven times and riseth up again” Proverbs 24:16-18 Over the years we have seen many personal brands/celebrities rise and fall over a blunder, misconduct, and other vices mostly via social media platforms. The first most important thing is to guard your online brand presence. You must come to terms with this; know and understand that every piece of content you post online about you, your product or services can make or mar your brand. Therefore, if you don’t take charge of your brand presence, someone else would, and guess what… it will be messed up! Here is what you should do to secure your brand. 1. Don’t immediately jump into any PR gimmicks, either on social media, etc. to address the issue. Gather your facts right, because anything you say or refuse to say can go against you. 2. If you believe it should be resolved legally, let your lawyers handle that and keep it out of the media where possible. 3. If truly you messed up; sincerely acknowledge that you messed up and ask for forgiveness. (Don’t fake it) 4. If you genuinely regret and apologized, you can then send out messages/ audio/video/ etc. to your fans or followers to assure them of your trust. You must be real. 5. Don’t hire bloggers, social media folks nor your celebrity friends to spread counter messages about you during the crisis. 6. Sometimes the best way is to quietly stay away from the mass discussion and talks about the issue at hand and quietly heal and recover. “Silence is golden” 7. If you can’t honestly share your errors don’t accept invitations to be on media ( radio, TV, etc) to talk about the issue. People can read between the lines and would know if you are being honest. A typical example of a brand using technology and innovation is Coca-Cola; no wonder it’s one of the world’s leading brands. This way, people who buy the bottled coke keep the cover so as to use any time to make distant calls to family and friends. This is a win-win situation; they are providing value to their customers and solving a problem. This alone will bring lots of businesses to the Coca-Cola Company, make their customers happy, and drive brand loyalty. The question for you today is; what are you and your brand doing to stay on top of the game? Any brand that refuses to grow (innovate) dies slowly. Tip 2 Plug-in: It’s about time you think of collaboration rather than competition. Don’t try to reinvent the wheels rather invent add-ons. For brands and especially smaller brands to stay afloat and not be drowned by massive competition from the big brands, they have to think about complementing an existing model/niche with their products or services. This is the thinking line; instead of creating a new Facebook-like social media to compete with Facebook, why not think of creating an app that can easily be integrated with Facebook, taking advantage of its massive reach. A typical example is the gaming app company, Zynga, which created the game Farmville for Facebook; they are making millions of dollars with their app. The question is if they had created their own platform will they have made it that way? Possibly No! This is it; what can your brand add to an existing model, consider what you can bring to the table, what brands can you possibly collaborate with to birth a bigger or more impactful brand? Haven’t you noticed how people are cramming the social media platforms for attention(tags, likes, shares, retweets, blogs, pictures, etc) daily? Doing all they can for attention. Well I’ve given the listeners the back-cover version of your biography, but tell us more about yourself and what inspired you to start the journey of self-publishing. BKC: Alright, thank you Chris. The name is Bernard Kelvin Clive and I’m inspired by a lot of things and a lot of people. My goal or vision or purpose is to really inspire others to live their God-given dreams using little means, or simple forms in every way I can, in the little things I can do. In so doing, I’m inspiring others and I’m inspiring myself to be the best version of myself I can ever be. It’s all summed up in the words “Inspiring and empowering the soul.” Those are the things I pursue. CB: Excellent, excellent! Do you have a quote that inspires you in your craft? BKC: I actually love quotes; I use quotes now and then and a lot of quotes really inspire me. One of them by Zig Ziglar and amplified by Les Brown: “You don’t have to be great to get started, but you must get started to be great.” CB: SUre, absolutely! I love that quote. I think that is such an inspiration for people who maybe want to write a book or start a podcast or start speaking, but don’t necessarily believe they have what it takes. You know, I started this podcast a few weeks ago, and I feel like I’m very much learning the trade of podcasting. And, it took me a while to build up the courage to actually get started on the podcast, I think because I was struggling with that same kind of thing. But, as I’ve started doing it I’ve learned more and really been enjoying it. So, I think that’s very inspirational for a lot of authors. Well, we as authors know that writing can be so rewarding, but it’s not always easy. Can you tell us about a time where you failed or fell short of your goals. BKC: Ok, that’s a great question. Basically, with the quote I gave you, that’s one of the ways I really live my life and my writing style, because I believe its a process and a journey and until you begin, you will never get finished or know how much you have within yourself. So, my goal has been, all these years is to always put out something genuine to inspire somebody, no matter how little or small. My greatest challenge in all these processes has been trying to be confined by certain voices or certain people saying your writing style should be like “so, so and so,” or you should write “so, so and so.” And those have been the biggest challenges I find myself in, especially for my very first book in 2010. There were some people that reviewed the book that said I should go in this form or this particular path. But I stuck to my purpose, my goals. This is how I write and how I want to communicate. So to them, I might be a failure because I did not write as lengthy as they wanted or like some other famous authors they know, but in my own way or my own voice. And, that is very challenging for every beginning author or writer that you might be forced to confine yourself to the style or method of certain people. But, when you stick to your own style and find achievement along the way, you then excel at it. CB: Awesome! I think that is such wonderful advice for authors, especially those just starting out who have maybe read some eBooks or some self-published books and think that there is maybe one specific way to go about it. But, I would like to echo what you said and really I think it’s important for authors to find their own voice and their own personal calling, their own personal style. The world is full of infinite possibilities and you should definitely follow your own course. BKC: Exactly! That’s the point, and for self-help books and books in the area of writing and speaking there have been tons of books; I could name so many books like “Think and Grow Rich.” And, those are the famous, all-time classic books. But, the most important thing concerning books and resources, I tell every individual as much as I’m an author and a speaker, find what works for you and use it. It might be this talent for everyone, but it might not work for you. But the principle is to find what works best for you and maximize it. It might not be book, it might not be audio, it might not be tapes, but it could just be a simple quote or text you find somewhere that you can apply, that you can use. Then you make the most of it. So as you write and as you speak find your own means as you learn or glean from experts in the field, find what is going to work for you and then maximize that. “Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion” ~ Parkinson’s Law Plan your day in advance (don’t leave things to chance, take charge). Be detailed about each task. Assign a start and possible completion time. Avoid unnecessary phone conversation, it’s your phone and you must have control over it. Don’t mix working time with home-family time. When you are at work, work, when home, make time for the family and yourself. Delegate task: you can’t and shouldn’t do all by yourself. Filter the ones you can do and delegate the rest to people who can even do it better. Avoid unnecessary meetings. Get to know the agenda of meetings before you attend and if it’s not really going to serve any need of yours or you are not compelled to be there, avoid it. Take notes when you attend meetings. Schedule appointments; don’t entertain causal visitors at work. Avoid checking emails first thing in the morning, unless your job depends on it. Turn off email and other notification sounds, they distract. Schedule times for checking and replying to emails. Use a template to serve time on some of your tasks. Get an email template for specific things you do. In responding to first time customers, repeat thank yous, etc. Synchronize scheduled events and appointments on your calendar on all your portable devices, especially if you are using a smart phone. In this way, you will be kept updated. Automate task; things that are done repetitively. Use softwares and necessary tools to help do this.  Learn to filter information that comes in; you don’t need everything, every email, every news; just be selective and get focused. Develop the habit of finishing task you start before moving unto the next project. Prioritize. Consider getting a virtual assistant. Set and use reminders on your smart phone/tablet. Try a day or a week media fast (Off social media). Get your mind to refresh. Learn to say NO! Eliminate! Take a break; rest!

How to Prepare for TV & Radio Interviews as a guest For the first timer this can be very challenging, however with a little preparation you can wade through this. It will interest you to know that even those who have mastered the act, just like public speaking, occasionally feel nervous. So you are not alone, it’s a skill you can learn and master. Having been on both sides of the camera, as a host and guest on various TV and Radio shows, I have compiled some tips to help you prepare for your next interview. Tips is Preparing for TV & Radio Appearances: Preparation is key: Read all that you can find about the interviewer and something about the show and previous shows. Online & offline, ask colleagues. Impressions: Yes! First impressions still counts: Make it a point to look your best, don’t over dress. Be clean of anything that will make you unconformable. Choose your colors carefully to represent your brand. If it’s a regular TV show with constant studio settings and color then ensure that your attire doesn’t conflict the colors in the studio settings[You don’t wear a red shirt when the studio couches are red]. After makeups before you go on set check your appearance on the TV monitor beforehand, if possible. Experts range: mostly you will be called in the area of your expertise, so be confident about what you know. If it’s your book; know your materials thoroughly, inside out. Find-out if the interview is live or recorded. Note that if it is live there is nothing like of the record, so every word counts. Get to know the subject of discussion if it’s not about your book and also any question you may have before that day. Some hosts prefer the conversational type of interviews, where they won’t be any questions sent to you before the day of interview; if so relax and chat, you are the expert in your field, share your thoughts. Prepare properly for it. In answering questions, be clear and precise. Give practical examples where necessary. Try to limit your answers to about three sentences. Be straight to the point where necessary. Get to the venue at least 30min early so you can relax and get yourself acquainted. When you are anxious, it show in your posture and speeches, relax! Be confident, be yourself, be natural. Don’t try to imitate anyone. Do maintain your composure at all times and seat yourself comfortably. On radio do adjust and test any equipment before the program begins. If you are speaking into a microphone, maintain a distance of at least six inches. Openings and Closings: These are key for any interview. Prepare your sound bites; your power punches (words). What do you want your listeners or readers to remember you for? You only win the game of life if you participate. Most often we wait for forces outside us to urge us to live our dreams, but all that it takes is embedded in you. You got to live your dreams inside out. Nobody truly cares and committed to make it happen unless you do. If you act now and move, forces will come to aid you along the way, but even if you don’t show up you will be proud that you made the move. Understand this: Anyone who believes in your dream will sacrifice in a way to support(cash, connection, prayer, service, advice, etc) and if they don’t nothing will motivate them to do so. If you find out that some of your close friends and family don’t support your dream, don’t hate them, love them and just let them be, if you force them to fit into your dream picture, you will probably set the stage to kill your dream and eventually yourself. What makes your heart sing? Sometimes I wonder why we do what we do. The motive and motivation, Why we fight, envy and kill?Questions! Questions! Questions! What makes your heart smile? What if money didn’t really matter? What makes you happy? How do you like to spend your life? What do you desire? What if money was no object? What would you like to do if money were no object?  What would you do if you had all the money in this world? Where will you go? What career will you pursue? All of us have dreams and ideas we really desire to achieve. Take a moment and do this: have an inventory of your dreams, the things you truly desire  to do and have; note them down, be very specific with details. Think through them and ask yourself why you desire those things, search deep within for answers. You know often times we pursue careers that are not truly in line with our heartbeats, having audio not synchronizing with our video. Be inspired to go after your dreams. Do not die with your music unsung. Think about this: “Because children grow up, we think a child’s purpose is to grow up. But a child’s purpose is to be a child. Nature doesn’t disdain what lives only for a day. I guess you will be thinking and imagining wild things at this point… Whatever it is you are right. Here, the bathroom comprises of the toilet and shower/bath. Some of the things may be possible or not depending on your bathroom setup. Time is of the essence! Let’s get started… Have fun… You can do: Shopping/Banking: yea, this is the Internet age. You can do this simply with your mobile phone/tablet transfer money across the globe, check account balance, etc. It’s really fun shopping in the bathroom; buy books on amazon, bid for items on eBay. You can do your entire window shopping there. Examine your body. Take a critical look at your body parts and examine them and attend to those parts as soon as possible. Be thankful for everything you have. Note the parts that need to be worked on. Grooming: trim your nails, have a clean shave and all those petty stuff that needs attention. Read a book: either a print book or an ebook. This can be very enlightening. Remember reading is good for the soul. Read something positive. Have a chat: SMS, using Instant messengers, whatsapp, FB chat etc. Create your to-do list. Plan your day or week. Note things down. Brainstorm: think deeply about your projects, dreams and goals. Allow the streams of ideas to flow freely. Learn/ Lectures/Webinars: discover new things right there, read your previous lecture note. Attend an online webinar, revisit things you missed. One fun thing to do is to read old newspapers, you will find some things you missed. Just bath: enjoy a slow bath either warm or cold water. Take time to bath, using your favorite soap. Make it fun. Capture your ideas: its said that everyone have at least one great idea in the shower. Now be different find ways to capture your ideas. You can keep a note pad around or phone where it won’t get wet, so you speedily write those ideas down when they happen. Sing: everyone has a great voice in the bathroom. Sing for a while. Enjoy your own music. Listen to an audio message/book/podcast/sermon/speech etc. listen to something positive. Allow the tap to drop slowly into the bucket/bath and listen to the sound, focus on that. It’s a great way to gather ideas. Meditate: be quite, listen to your internal voice/ the holyspirit. If you married: leave a love note on the toilet paper/soap/ or the bathroom mirror. Be creative. Surf the net: browse the Internet especially sites you hardly visit, Google stuff that randomly pops out in your heard, have fun. Rest in there: sleep in the bath. Take a short nap. Write a note, an article, and your book outline. Guess what I’m writing this in the washroom using my iPhone. Exercise: do some exercise in there. Make it your sacred or secret place: it could be your altar where your pray. It could be where your pour your heart out, you cry, share some tears and be free. You let go the pain. Let me share this story with you as it also reminds me of the movie  “Good Deeds”. There is only one thing that has no substitute; that is gratitude and it is the greatest of all attitudes. It is a good seed; start sowing it now and reap a harvest of amazing returns. “…they that sow in tears shall reap in joy..” The Evil you do… A woman baked bread for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra Bread on the window sill, for whosoever would take it away. Every day, a hunchback came and took away the Bread. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: ” The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!” This went on, day after day. Every day, the hunchback came, picked up the bread and uttered the words: “The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!” The woman felt irritated. “Not a word of gratitude,” she said to herself… “Everyday this hunchback utters this jingle! What does he mean?” One day, exasperated, she decided to do away with him. “I shall get rid of this hunchback,” she said. And what did she do? She added poison to the bread she prepared for him! As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled. “What is this I am doing?” she said. Immediately, she threw the Bread into the fire, prepared another one and kept it on the window sill. Every day, as the woman placed the Bread on the window sill, she offered a prayer for her son who had gone to a distant place to seek his fortune. For many months, she had no news of him.. She prayed for his safe return. That evening, there was a knock on the door. As she opened it, she was surprised to find her son standing in the doorway. He had grown thin and lean. His garments were tattered and torn. He was hungry, starved and weak. As he saw his mother, he said, “Mom, it’s a miracle I’m here. While I was but a mile away, I was so famished that I collapsed. I would have died, but just then an old hunchback passed by. I begged of him for a morsel of food, and he was kind enough to give me whole Bread. As he gave it to me, he said, “This is what I eat everyday: today, I shall give it to you, for your need is greater than mine!” As the mother heard those words, her face turned pale. She leaned against the door for support. She remembered the poisoned bread that she had made that morning. Had she not burnt it in the fire, it would have been eaten by her own son, and he would have lost his life! This generation is experiencing the exact reoccurrence of the quandary the ancient Israelite found themselves in. The very fabric of our society is seriously transmuting into the systems of the kingdom of darkness, and we citizens of the kingdom of Heaven seem to ignore our social responsibilities and divine assignment thereby relinquishing the world into the hands of the power of darkness. The Church (citizens of the kingdom of God) had great dominion and influence in every facet of society in the 19th and 20th centuries because they owned and operated their own systems (schools, hospitals, financial institution, etc.). Hence, governments and politicians valued their presence in society and gave them a vital voice in the affairs and direction of the nations. Bear in mind that he who can see and experience the future through the power of imagination before it arrives, steers the course of the world thereby controlling the systems of society and consequently influencing the destiny of the people and nations. Multinational organizations like BMW, Mercedes, Microsoft, Sony, Apple, Ford, etc., pay people billions of dollars just to capture the future 20 to 50 years ahead through the power of their imagination. No wonder these companies run our societies and its affairs today and also command the attention and respect of governments all over the world. Friday 17th August 2012.   It is a great honor for me to stand here on this special day in history to be part of your graduation. I must say 2012 will be the beginning of greater things to come in the history of our College and Country, and I am glad to say that, you are the pacesetters – the change makers. By the time I end this speech, you will truly agree with me, that the change you so desire has begun with you and you have all that it takes to make it happen. I’m going to share with you some aspects of my life, and how you can relate to it and make the most of it. In 2004 as I graduated with a first class honors here in the University, from the Department of Integrated Rural Art and Industry under the College of Art and Social Sciences, a course that taught me to be disciplined and sharpened my multi-talented abilities. I am proud to stand here and say that I love the College of Art. Little did I know that I will be standing here today to deliver this speech. I had not even the faintest idea of how my life was going to be but I had one thing, I had DREAM! That is the first thing I want you to know – that you must have a dream, a dream bigger than yourself. I had a dream and I know, that you also have some dreams. My goal was to build the largest art village with state of the art technology available to appeal to international audience, to be the best I can ever be, with all that I have, and can do; to help people live a happier more fulfilling life. That got me started on the discovery process of ‘who am I’. I read all that I could find and did all I could do, and still do. I’m glad to announce to you that I have authored four motivational books. Not that I have arrived, no not in any way but I am enjoying the journey, I messed up so many times, was knocked down but not knocked out. You are going to face so many battles you will win some and lose some, either way keep fighting for your dreams. I pushed through the stormy weather, went through dark valleys, climbed mountains but I never gave up because I had a dream. One thing that will keep you going at all times is your passion for your dreams. You must be passionate about life; your dreams and goals. I must say the journey of success as you set out this day, is not going to be easy, it will be tough, long road of loneliness, you will encounter wolves, there will be delays, disappointments and detours but in all this keep hope alive, don’t ever give up on that one thing – your dream! You may need to start small on your big dreams, but don’t give up on them, those little beginnings have seeds of greatness in them. Secondly this is what I want you to know; Life is an ART and everyone is an artist or can be an artist. Ask me why? This is it. At every year and every graduation such as this, we are all presented with the same primary colors of life, to paint the portrait of our lives and our world. The primary Colors (RED, YELLOW and BLUE) we are referring to are the Certificates. Listen to the analogy of life from the artistic perspective. On this day everyone will have a certificate for whatever class one will graduate with. With this certificate, it sets everyone on the same stage and now you have to flip the pages and not be caged by it. What most people do is they complain of the colors on their pallet and never paint, but rather stain their lives and their world. Note this down; that the certificate and education you have had in this illustrious institution does not define you; it is a tool that you must use to define yourself. This is the point where you have to work with your colors. RED, YELLOW and BLUE The RED: signifies your skills, what you gain by learning and constant practice. The YELLOW: signifies the golden opportunities life offers to us daily, the ability to identify the opportunities in life, and reorient ourselves to make the most of it. The BLUE: signifies your natural talents and abilities. What you are naturally good at. This is where the real artist comes to play. The wisdom and the ability to mix these colors to plan your life and your world will cause you to succeed and excel. If you identify your natural talents and abilities (BLUE) and sharpen them, working on your talents daily, to be skilled at it (REDS) and then looking out for the golden opportunities in life (YELLOWS), and if you don’t find them you create them. I will repeat this point; if you do not find them CREATE THEM. If one endeavors to mix these three constantly, success will be inevitable. The real artist will be mixing the colors and creating new worlds, better worlds, making the world a better place with their skill, passions and abilities.
