Ghosting is a dating term that refers to abruptly cutting off contact with someone without giving them any warning or explanation. (verywellmind.com)
The concept most often refers to romantic relationships but can also describe disappearances from friendships also.
Ghosting seem to be a popular mode of ending a relationship among young people. I have been ghosted by someone i thought was a friend. All i know is that i feel like there is no closure as i still dont know what i did or didnt do.
Have you ever been Ghosted? How did you feel? In this episode, Courtney Williams, Najwa Lambert and Malik Morgan helps us to unpack this action and feeling of Ghosting.

I was recently listening to an influencer talking about doing things that make you happy. While I wholeheartedly agree that we should do what makes us happy and feed our souls, i must say that how we do things may differ by each person and their circumstances. Your 1 hour of me time is going to look totally different from mine.
We sometimes look at other persons especially on social media and compare ourselves and our lives. Don't believe the hype, they go through struggles too. My advice is to live YOUR life however that may look. As long as you are doing the best you can in the moment, everything will be okay.

In this episode, I talk to Althea Walters, founder of Blazing Beyond - a consultancy focused on leadership, productivity, and organization. Althea shares invaluable insights on maximizing productivity, overcoming procrastination, achieving work-life balance, and much more.
She explains that a major barrier to productivity that many of us face is having too much on our plates - information overload, distractions from social media, competing opportunities.
Althea offers specific tips to maximize productivity like, decluttering physical and mental space, planning out priorities, batching similar tasks, setting firm deadlines, and working during our most productive hours. We also discuss how to overcome procrastination by just taking the first step rather than trying to push through. I highly recommend listening to this episode for anyone looking to boost their productivity, organization and sense of control.

We discuss the book, "The War in The Heavens: Breaking the Chains of Generational Curses" with author Gem C. Collie. The book examines the psychological effects of generational victimization in contemporary times. The book exposes perpetual inherited mistreatment due to the constant battle one goes through to fight for individuality against collectivism, social norms, and culture. Through vivid descriptions and powerful storytelling, the author takes readers on a journey of self-discovery and healing, encouraging them to confront their own wounded shadows. By exposing the complex emotions and behaviors passed down through generations, the book offers readers a choice: to continue perpetuating the cycle of generational curses or to break free and create a better future for themselves and their loved ones.
Gem is originally from Jamaica and has also written the book " The Damsel in Distress: Coping with Emotional Codependency Personal Disorder."

Overwhelm is an emotion, a feeling that i experience all the time but what is it.
Overwhelm is when something affects you very strongly and you do not know how to deal with it.
I get overwhelmed all the time and sometimes the only thing i can do is cry. Do you cry too?
There are ways in which you can cope with Overwhelm and we will discuss these in this episode of the podcast.
Stress does not discriminate . It impacts everyone, regardless of age, gender, race or location. Each person has different stress level threshold and no one handles stress the same way. Remember, that this too will pass and nothing lasts forever. Take a break, refocus and see how you can solve what you can control.
Also, let us check on each other to even give a word of encouragement in this game of Life.

With the advent of social media, we tend to put our best foot forward at all times giving the illusion that life is perfect. This is bullshit as we all know life has its ups, downs and in between. Today i feel like a million dollars and tomorrow, I am like a Jamaican red coin, useless. Everybody's reality is different so you have to always choose to be happy in your own capacity.
Theodore Roosevelt said "Comparison is the thief of all joy". Stop comparing your life to others, stop trying to keep up with social media influencers, stop pretending to be who you are not.
Choose to be your authentic self no matter what stage you are in life.

"Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love." Ephesians 4:2
I received a lesson to be humble and kind to everyone I meet. Sometimes we allow our status, position, wealth and ego to get in our way, and we snub at others. We also tend not to treat others who we may think of as less than us, poorly.
Let me remind you that we are all humans and everyone has a purpose in life. We may have knowledge but we sure dont know about everything in this world. It simply means, we need each other no matter how rich or poor we are. You never know who will give you a helping hand when you most need it, so let us be courteous and show love to everyone we meet.
The year has almost ended and I want to Thank You All for listening to me and my ramblings. I Appreciate you so much!

How are you ? "Im good" is our usual response when in reality, we are not feeling good.
Why is it so hard to be honest with ourselves and others about our feelings.
In this episode, be vulnerable with me as we discuss that, at times it is okay not to feel okay, good or great!

Are Mothers Superhuman?
Mothers are on the frontline for their children and family . They are the be all and end all for everyone without a break.
In this episode, I rant about the responsibilitues and all the other things that a mother have to endure. We often forget that Moms are humans too.
"I wanted to be the perfect Mom, but I have come to realize that the perfect Mom is a myth."

We find it difficult to talk about ourselves and our achievements because we fear that people may say we are bragging, we are egotistical or self -centered. Guess What? It is your goals and achievements that you have worked hard to accomplish.
Do not undervalue and underate yourself. Stop playing small so that others can look big. Show your worth!

The world is seeing an increase in violence against women and children. Gender based violence is widespread and the processes to reform laws have been slow. It has led me to wonder if we have failed our men as a society. I have however come to one conclusion , that we have failed as a society to properly solve our disputes and our conflicts.
There has been a reduction in conflict resolution programs but most importantly, community, You and I must be present and take a stand against violence and must be willing to assist those in need of help.
The views in this podcast are only and solely mine.
I want to hear your views, thoughts and ideas on this topic and how we can solve conflicts.

Change is constant and life is ever revolving. When situations change, we often ignore the signs for many different reasons. We have to trust our own gut feeling, we must learn to trust ourselves when we realize that something is no longer bringing us joy and satisfaction.
When something is no longer serving you positively and in a wholesome way, Let It Go!
Stop sacrificing yourself and Let It Go!

Not everyone is going to see the vision you have for yourself, not everyone is going to get YOU. We must stop looking for the approval of others and look to ourselves for own approval. Only you know the struggles you are going through so stop waiting on someone to say "Well Done" and start celebrating your own wins in life. BE YOUR OWN CHEERLEADER! Give yourself that award, you deserve it!
