About week before this podcast was recorded Mississippi opened up from the Covid 19 lock down with restrictions. I posted from my personal Facebook page asking the question was it too soon or not soon enough. I already knew what was about to hit me. Not only are we divided on religion and politics, we are divided on the quarantine lock down. Today's show is a shout-out to all the 2020 Seniors. I have a Senior about to graduate. He may have already graduated and I don't know it. Nevertheless, I feel like it won't be long before the parents get these letters giving us a set of rules. I also feel like someone is not going to like the rules, so I came up with some of my own. I felt like my rules were outrageous. We'll see if the school board one ups me on this. I also wanted to talk about my one and only trip away from home without my wife. Let me know what you think.

I am not sure if any of you have noticed but the quarantine has brought out the crazy in some folks. It’s not the ones you would expect. I’m not sure if it’s because they are spending so much time with their spouses than normal that they are taking it out on the rest of us or if they are really getting cabin fever. Today’s episode is probably out of character for me but I except a challenge to be stretched in my abilities to see the humor it. I didn’t at first, if I am being honest. However, after I have thought about it I think it is the perfect opportunity to turn on the oven and prepare for a roast!

I am okay with people when they have a bad experience and want to make social media aware of it if it is a legitimate gripe. There are those times when someone should have stayed at home instead of going out because they didn't get the service they thought they should have. The way their go online and write reviews makes you wonder if they were looking for every single thing wrong so they could run to the review page and post it. They type those 5 words that make my skin crawl and I'm not even a restaurant owner - I will never be back! Typing it was difficult. I'm holding nothing back today! I am criticizing the self-appointed critics!

Is it just me or have we traded corona news for reality shows like Tiger King? Maybe not you - but I have. I'm no better for it either! Do you ever just think about the wisdom of your granddad? Mine was a self proclaimed genius and by the way folks have been acting - his generation would be rolling their eyes at us. Did you hear about the burn ban in Miss? Remember Black Friday shopping? Remember how we didn't care to squeeze into a line next to a stranger?
