Hello, and welcome to the 7C news network. This is Dr. Peter Manzyuk reporting on the important life of a grade 7C student. Today, 7C and 5F students, as well as the visiting Korean group went to Robson Square to go skating. We had a blast!! In science the other day we had lots of fun mixing cornstarch with water! The texture was really awesome, and also if you punched it or hit/poked it, it would turn into a solid. So science is definitely fun in 7C. In humanities we are doing persuasive writing and it is really good, because all the students are talking about very important topics that they hope will impact somebody or even the whole school. Pretty soon the grade 7M and 7C classes will be going to Vancouver with the visiting Korean students for a fun game/ scavenger hunt around the whole city! Also grade 7C students received a special new student name Heerac Jang, and he is now fully adapted to the wonderful environment in 7C. That's all I have to report for today! On behalf of 7C, Dr. Peter Manzyuk NOTE: Peter Manzyuk is not actually a doctor.
Greetings all, FINALLY, a blog update! I want to acknowledge right now that things have kind of gone sideways in terms of running this blog. The goal from the start of the year was that students would update the blog on a weekly basis, sharing some highlights of what they've been learning about. Unfortunately, that has not happened yet, but we are hoping to start that from this point moving forward! Thanks for your patience! Mr. Nagtegaal
Hello, and welcome back to another school year! This is just a quick, introductory post to let you know that the goal for the rest of the year is to have grade 7 students update the blog a couple of times a week with the goings-on of life in grade 7 at SCS! Enjoy! Mr. Nagtegaal
The yearbook is ready. Email Mr. Georgy-Embree for the password. Please make sure you identify yourself in the email.
I'm in the process of finalizing the yearbook. I'm testing it with a sample PDF file called test.pdf. It should be available through this blog post and iTunes. If you would like the password to test it and ensure that you'll be able to open the yearbook file, email me (Mr. Georgy-Embree) to request the password. You will find my address on the right hand side of this page under Email Addresses. You must properly identify yourself in the email.
