The grace of God is offered to all those who come to him in humility. The fate of any nation can be saved if they humble themselves before God. Our nation needs to come back to Jesus.
Throughout the history of mankind nations have risen and fallen. A nation that stays true to God is preserved by God. This sermon is a call to our nation to repent of sin and return to God.
Christ calls us not to worry, but to have faith in Him because He will provide. This sermon will encourage anyone who struggles with worry.

The calling to be a disciple is the greatest calling we can have, but it does come at a great cost.

We are in a real battle against the forces of darkness in this world and it is a battle we cannot avoid. Paul shows us how we can equip ourselves for the battle we are engaged in. Our power comes from Christ alone.
God is in control even when we aren't. He is doing things behind the scenes that we cannot possibly comprehend. When we begin to see things as God does, then we are able to carry on in this life with confidence knowing that He is able to take care of His children.
In life we all have times where there seems as there is no hope ahead. Sometimes despair fills our hearts to the point that we don't know if we will ever smile again. Even people in the Bible felt like this at times and yet God was always there. He is also there for you.
If you are a Christian you are called to endure hardship for Christ. There will be times in your life where things will be difficult specifically because you are a follower of Jesus. In this passage we see how we are blessed to suffer for Christ and we are encouraged to stand firm because He truly has the message of life for this world.
From the Garden of Eden to now, Satan has been attacking our relationships. He loves it when he can destroy families and absolve marriages. The good news is, however, that God is there to help us resist the devil and in His Word He shows us what His intentions are for our marriages. In this message, Peter shows us why our marriage relationships are so important.
It's hard to live in a world of craziness and believe that God is in control. The truth is, however, that He is and nothing happens outside of His will. Therefore, we can trust in Him even when we don't understand.
We are part of a family because Jesus has made us a family. More than that, Peter tells us we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation. In this message we look at what it means for us to be a people that belongs to God.

Isaiah predicted that the Messiah would suffer and die for our sins, but He also predicted that He would rise from the grave. In this Easter message we celebrate the fact that Jesus rose from the grave and by rising from the grave He gave to all who believe in Him eternal life.
Isaiah predicted that before the Messiah would become King of the world He would suffer at the hands of the world. In this passage we look at what Jesus had to go through in order to pay the price for our sin. He would suffer so that we could be saved.
Jesus told the Pharisees that demanded a sign that the only sign they would get would be the sign of Jonah. Just as Jonah preached repentance, so did Jesus. Unlike the Ninevites, however, the Pharisees did not repent. Also, Jesus stated that just as Jonah was in the great fish 3 days and 3 nights, so would Jesus be in the heart of the earth. Thus predicting His death and resurrection. This message shows us how the story of Jonah predicted Jesus.
The Queen of Sheba sought out the wisdom of Solomon and ended up praising and believing in God. Jesus mentioned this during His time on earth and proclaimed to everyone around Him that He was greater than Solomon was. Do we seek Christ in the same way that the Queen of Sheba sought out Solomon?
King David received a blessing he never expected. He was told that he would have a descendant that would sit on the throne forever. Jesus was this promised King and His kingdom was solidified when He died on the cross and rose again. Someday He will return and establish His kingdom on earth forever.
Moses promised his people that someone would rise after Him that would be greater than him. This promised Prophet was none other than Jesus. Jesus would be the one to rise up and lead His people to eternal peace and salvation.
On the Day of Atonement the high priest would give sacrifices for the sins of himself and the people of Israel. In addition to the sacrifices, they also pronounced their sins on the head of a goat and sent him into the wilderness. This goat was called the scapegoat because it carried the burden of sin of Israel on itself. When Christ was on the cross He carried the burden of our sins on Him.
God did not give us the 10 commandments as a way for us to earn our way into heaven. Rather, we were given the Law so that we would know what sin was and know that we would need a Savior. Jesus kept the law perfectly and did what we couldn't do.
When Moses was trying to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt, Pharaoh refused to let them go until the final plague, which killed all of the first-born people and animals. The Hebrews were protected because they obeyed God and put the blood of the lamb on their doorposts. The Passover was meant to tell us about the ultimate sacrifice that was coming. Jesus was going to be the sacrifice that would take away the sins of all who came to Him.
Jesus said there is no greater love than to lay down your life for someone else. Jesus showed His love by laying down His life for us. In this message, we look at Christ's great-grandfather, Judah, and see his act of sacrifice for his youngest brother. This act serves as a foreshadowing to what Jesus would do in the future.
The Old Testament continually tells us that a Savior is coming. The story of Abraham's test of faith shows us how God intervened for us when we were powerless to save ourselves. He was our sacrifice and He took on Him what we deserved.
Jesus came to the world to save us from our sins. It is vitally important to understand where sin came from in the first place so that each one of us can come to our acknowledgement of the need of a Savior. In this message we look at the fall of mankind and see God's promise of redemption even from the beginning.
One of the greatest joys we have in Jesus is the fact that he makes us new. Everything we used to be is transformed and forgiven because of Jesus. He truly gives us a second chance. As we look to the new year, we are reminded that Jesus did everything so that we can become more like Him.
Ultimately, all peace is only found in Jesus. He is everlasting and so is the peace He brings. In this message we look at the promise of peace that Christ brings to all people and remember that He is the best gift we have ever received.
We may not realize it, but Joseph and Mary had a lot of challenges before them when they took on the responsibility of raising the Son of God. However, no matter what they remained faithful to God and God took care of them. In this message, we will look at their lives and see how we can deal with our problems by seeing how they dealt with theirs.
Materialism is a problem because it is seeking satisfaction from something that will never truly satisfy instead of seeking satisfaction in God. Christmas is a time of many wonderful things but it is also a time when the pursuit of stuff is very high. In this message we will look at what truly can bring peace to our hearts at this time of year and beyond.
Many people love Christmas time because it is an idealized time of peace. Through all the decorations and songs, people create a world as they wish it was. People want to live in a world of peace. However, the truth is that without Jesus true peace doesn't really exist. In this message we look at Jesus as the Prince of Peace and what that means for us today and in the future.
Some of the hardest times of our life happen when we don't understand what God is doing. We face hardships and at that time we don't have a clue when it will end. We wonder where God is during our time of chaos. In this message we will see how God is always there even when we don't understand.
To be a Christian is to be forgiven. Just as God has forgiven us of our sin, He want us to forgive others as well. In this message, we look at both the need to forgive when offended and to repent when we have offended others.
There are times in our lives where we all deal with fear and anxiety. We are not promised a life that is free from trouble or suffering, but we are promised that God is in control and He cares for us. In this message, we look at what the Bible says when it comes to fear and worry. We will see how to cling to God during these times.
We often hear the verse quoted in the Bible when Jesus says not to judge, but do we really understand the context behind what He says. Are we never to say anything to anyone about their sin or is Jesus saying something else? In this message we look at when the Bible calls us to make right judgments and avoid hypocrisy.
When we become believers in Jesus we are forgiven of all sin. However, we still struggle with sin and temptation everyday. What can we do about this? In this message we look at living by the Spirit so that we can over come the pull of our sinful nature.
In the Garden of Eden, mankind was kicked out and barred from the Tree of Life because of sin. In the New Jerusalem there will be a River of Life flowing from God's throne and the Tree of Life will return for all to eat from it. Jesus is the only way to the Tree of Life. Will you follow Him?
The promise that Christians have held on to for centuries is that Christ will make everything new. No more death, pain, or suffering for anyone ever again who loves Jesus. This message is a message of hope. No matter the circumstance or despair in life, God is there and He cares.
Someday the promises of God to the nation of Israel will be fulfilled and they will receive their promised land with their rightful King reigning. In this message we look at the Millennial reign of Jesus on the earth before God wipes out sin, death, and evil once and for all.
