Also, he breaks down some NFL Week 11 action including Patrick Mahomes' game winning drive and Joe Burrow going down for the year (49:54). Plus, he gives his weekly fantasy football studs and duds (1:05:37) and breaks down the suspension of Robinson Cano for 2021 and what that means for the Mets offseason and rumors on the Yankees' end of things about Luke Voit being "floated around" in trade talks (1:11:12).
On this week's edition Mike gives his quick thoughts on the trade between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Phoenix Suns involving Chris Paul (1:06). Lastly, he talks about the World Series including the crazy finish to Game 4 and now with the Dodgers one win away from a championship (51:46).
On this week's edition of the show Mike breaks down NFL Week 5 action and another disappointing weekend for New York football (:56). Then, he lists his fantasy football studs and duds of the week (36:03). Finally, he rounds out the show talking about the Yankees' crushing loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALDS and what's in store for the Yankee offseason (39:05).

On this week's edition Mike starts off with the huge news of St. John's basketball getting another commitment for the 2021 recruiting class from Long Island Lutheran guard Rafael Pinzon and where the Red Storm go from here. (0:45) Then, he rounds up Week 2 of the NFL (9:51) along with this week's fantasy football studs and duds (32:20) and the rash of injuries that plagued the league this weekend (36:35). Plus, he talks MLB as the Mets and Yankees head into the final week of the season (39:24). Lastly, he talks about European soccer as Manchester United had a dismal start to their Premier League season and the Bundesliga bringing fans back into the stadiums (52:30).
On this week's edition Mike breaks down NFL Week 1 action as the season got underway this past Thursday (1:37). Our fanatsy football studs and duds segment is back as Mike goes through some of the best and worst fantasy performers this past weekend (24:02). Plus, Mike breaks down this past week for the Yankees and Mets as the Yankees have started to go on a hot streak winning their past five games after weeks of struggles (29:53) and while the Mets' hopes of getting to the playoffs are fading they got some more good news on the Steve Cohen front (38:31). Lastly, he talks about some soccer as the English Premier League kicked off its new season this past weekend and some of the big storylines so far (41:30).
On this week's special Labor Day edition, (we hope everyone had a great and safe holiday weekend] Mike discusses the Islanders big win as they head to the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in almost 30 years (1:06). Also, Mike gives his NFL standings predictions as the season begins this week (5:24) and goes through his fantasy football team and some quick keys for those still drafting (43:55). Next, he moves to the MLB breaking down the Mets' last second trades at the deadline last week, rounding up their recent action, and more updates on the Steve Cohen deal (45:53). Lastly, Mike reflects on the horrible stretch of form as of late for the Yankees and their inactivity at the trade deadline (56:23).
On this week's edition, Mike talks about the loss of former Georgetown Men's Basketball coach John Thompson on Monday morning (1:26). Next, he talks about the strange decision by the Jacksonville Jaguars to release star running back Leonard Fournette and the troubling trend recently of their stars wanting to leave (2:28). Yesterday was also the MLB trade deadline as Mike talks about the deal to send Cleveland Indians pitcher Mike Clevinger to the San Diego Padres (7:34) along with the Yankees' inactivity despite checking in on many options (12:17). He then recaps the week for the local baseball teams including their Subway Series clash over the weekend (14:39). Plus, Mets fans finally seem to be getting something they've been looking for as Steve Cohen won the bidding and will enter into exclusive negotiations to become the owner of the New York Mets, but will the deal get done or fall apart as it has done so before (41:02). Lastly, he gives his thoughts on European soccer as the shocking storyline came out last week about Lionel Messi wanting to leave Barcelona after 20 years at the club (49:57).
On this week's edition, Mike goes through the first week of Champions League action as it resumed last Friday and assesses how his predicted bracket is holding up so far (Predicting Lyon to go through past Manchester City in the next round) (1:09). Next, he talks St. John's as a week or so ago the Red Storm got their first commitment of the 2021 recruiting class in Harlem native Drissa Traore (5:39). Next, the guys talk about college football and college athletics in general as the Big 10 and Pac-12 announced that they have canceled their fall season, as well as the Big East announcing their fall sports, will be canceled as well (9:07). Then, we talk MLB starting off with the Oakland A's and Houston Astros brawl on the weekend (22:08), the Mets after Marcus Stroman opted out this past weekend along with recent criticism of GM Brodie Van Wagenen(30:52), and the Yankees as they lost 3/4 down in Tampa and then swept the Atlanta Braves at home plus Clint Frazier being called up (1:05:56). Lastly, we round out the show with the NHL as the Islanders started off their Stanley Cup Playoff First Round Series against Washington with a win (1:16:36) and the Rangers as they won the Draft Lottery and will have the No. 1 pick in this year's NHL Draft (1:22:00).
On this week’s edition, Mike talks about college basketball after reports that the Big East and Big Ten are talking about a bubble scenario for this season (1:00). Next, he talks hockey after the Rangers got swept out of the Stanley Cup Playoff Qualifiers while the Islanders are up 2-1 in their series and whether this is the last we see of Henrik Lundqvist (6:12). Next, he goes through the Yankees as their pitching behind Gerrit Cole continues to be inconsistent despite the good start to the season (17:33) and the Mets with the wild fiasco that happened over the weekend with Yoenis Cespedes leading to him opting out of the rest of the 2020 season due to coronavirus concerns (48:54). Lastly, Mike rounds out the show talking about European soccer as the Champions League gets set to restart and he makes his predictions for the rest of the tournament.
On this week's edition Mike talks some St. John's with the Red Storm missing out on priority 2021 recruit Jordan Riley last week and Rachel Daly's triumph with the Houston Dash in the NWSL Challenge Cup (4:02). Next he talks about the MLB after the Marlins had 17 positive COVID-19 cases this past week causing some teams to have their schedule changed around (9:10). He also analyzes the Yankees (17:32) and Mets' (34:44) start to the season after the first week. Next, Mike gives his thoughts on the Joe Kelly suspension (44:31). Finally Mike talks about the NFL with more players opting out due to coronavirus concerns and the Jamal Adams trade (57:09) and the NHL restart (1:07:25).
In this week's edition Mike and Matt talk more about Dak Prescott and also speculate where he could go if things don't work out between him and the Cowboys (2:04). We also go in depth on the Yankees and Mets as Opening Day begins on Thursday (25:16). Plus we briefly discuss an idea put out by the San Diego Tribune (and tweeted out by ESPN's Buster Olney) about creating a fan experience for baseball even though there won't be any fans in the stadiums (1:03:27). Finally we talk about college athletics and specifically on Seton Hall men's basketball coach Kevin Willard's comments about whether to push back the start of the college basketball season due to the coronavirus(1:06:13) as well as St. John's basketball in what could be a huge week for the program(1:15:13).
This week Mike talks about the state of college athletics with announcements coming from various conferences either postponing, canceling, or playing only conference games for the fall season. This comes after the Big East on Friday announced all fall sports will only play conference games, so he talks about whether a college football season especially is even feasible (2:32). He also goes through his NL standings predictions after covering the AL last week as MLB Opening Day is just 5 days away (14:56). Lastly, he covers the NFL after the deadline passed for Dak Prescott and the Cowboys to come to an agreement on a long-term contract with no deal coming along with some other notable players who signed long-term extensions with their respective teams (36:18).
On today's edition Mike and Matt talk about Patrick Mahomes' historic contract extension signed this past week (4:22), Raheem Mostert's trade request (16:05) and get some of Matt's thoughts on Cam Newton to the Patriots and how it affects his Jets (18:52). We also talk about Steve Cohen coming back in and making a $2 billion offer for the Mets (29:05), a hugely emotional Subway Series matchup next season in 2021 falling on 9/11(38:53), and we make some of our MLB standings predictions starting off with the AL as the 2020 season draws closer(43:03).
This week Mike and Ryan talk about the Patriots signing of Cam Newton and we talk about the Yankees and Mets as they and the rest of baseball get set to begin Spring Training 2.0 this weekend. We round out the show talking about the NBA and some of the player opt-outs, JR Smith to the Lakers, and our finals matchup.
On this edition, Mike and Matt talk about the return of the MLB after the annoucement of a 60 game season this past week and some of our predictions for the shortened season. In addition, we analyze the transfer of St. John's Forward LJ Figueroa after he annouced that he will be headed to Oregon and we discuss and get Matt's perspective on the situation surrounding Jamal Adams.
On this week's edition, Mike talks about some European soccer as the Premier League gets back in action after the coronavirus induced hiatus. Plus, more developments on the MLB negotiations to start the season with a 70 game proposal (31:30) and Jamal Adams' trade request from the NY Jets (56:54).
This week we talk about the return of MLS and soccer here in America (1:42) as well as the new 89 game proposal from the MLBPA to start the season as we reflect on the whole situation between the MLB and the MLPA to agree to terms for the 2020 MLB season (8:15). Plus, the guys talk about the NFL and their thoughts on a reduced preseason, the idea of players being Mic'd up this season, and others adjustments that may happen for the NFL (43:14).
This week Mike and Ryan reflect on the activism around the sports world surrounding the tragic death of George Floyd. Plus, they go into the MLS being close to a deal to restart the season looking to become the first team sport back here in the US along with the ongoing talks amongst the NBA and MLB on how to get back up and running as well.
This week the guys talk about the huge news surrounding LJ Figueroa going into the transfer portal, the salary dispute between MLB players and the league as they negotiate the terms of a shortened season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and much more. Michael also touches upon how the German Bundesliga and soccer overall broadcasting fan noise could be something other sports could use in order to generate an atmosphere for players and viewers alike.
The quarantine episodes continue as this week, Michael goes through the DeAndre Baker news and how it affects the Giants. Also, he discusses his opinion on Blake Snell's comments and Bryce Harper's proposed plan for the 2020 MLB season.

After a small hiatus due to COVID-19 the guys are back and discuss some of the big moves in NFL Free Agency like Tom Brady to the Bucs, Stefon Diggs to Buffalo, and DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona along with the Giants and Jets offseason as the NFL Draft comes up this week. Also, we reflect on the impact of COVID-19 on the sporting world first off with the MLB.
In this week's episode the guys breakdown the new AP poll and San Diego State no longer undefeated. We dive into Big East basketball as St. John's takes another loss to Seton Hall 81-65 and the recent hot streak of the Creighton Bluejays as they vault up to number 10 as March Madness inches closer. Also, Mike and Ryan analyze the reaction and hype of the new NBA All-Star Game format this year(28:18). The guys also break down the reaction around the MLB to the Houston Astros cheating scandal as teams report to spring training camp as well as focusing on the Yankees and Mets as the start of the season gets closer(35:03). Finally, Mike and Ryan talk about the NHL trade deadline from the Isles acquisition of Jean Gabriel Pageau and the Rangers' extension of Chris Kreider (59:54)
The guys talk about the life and legacy of Kobe Bryant after his tragic death along with his daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash on Sunday that took the lives of nine people in total.
