Mystic Waxx announces the new release of the long-awaited concept EP Kayla, delivering the fans a mix of blues beats with hip hop instruments powered by floating electronic sounds.

The forthcoming record is a follow-up to the 2019 self-titled EP, and it's set to be released on June 23rd, 2020. Songs from their debut album have already seen a loyal following with tens of thousands of streams in a short amount of time. The up-coming EP introduces a new direction in the sound which is influenced by the likes of Pink Floyd, Portishead, The Knife, Bonobo. Along with the announcement, today also marks the release of the first single and video from the album, Tears Left to Cry, premiering on Spotify and all the other major music platforms on June 9th, 2020.

This EP is a collaboration of classically trained British-Albanian producer Admir Hyka and vocalist Andrea Skalec. The writing of the new materials was inspired by the recent life-changing events of both artists, which ultimately led to the birth of the Mystic Waxx sound.

The concept EP captures the mood of Kayla, an exhibition of neglected love fuelled by the aftermath of the ability to stay positive and move on even when all hope is lost. While each song varies in tone, they are all originals and circle back the concept of the original theme, and the obscure outcome is truly helped by the gentle yet powerful voice of Andrea. https://mysticwaxx.com
