Today, I will be making Eba and Ogbono Soup
Ogbono is a very common soup in Eastern Nigeria
Eba is a swallow eaten almost everywhere in Nigeria

Ogbono Soup

Ingredients
Grounded Ogbono seeds
Crayfish
Cameroun pepper
Palm Oil
Stockfish
Kpomo{cow skin}-optional
Seasoning cubes
Salt
Beef - optional
Bitter leaves- optional
Stock- optional
Water

Description
Listen to the podcast dears 😂

Important things to note or know
*Ensure your Ogbono seeds are from a trusted source, you really don't want to be explaining unnecessary story😂 as to why your Ogbono Soup is not "drawing". The beauty of draw soups is the actual "drawing"😂( if you know what I mean)of the soup. Nobody wants a thick and non- "drawing " soup
It must not be watery also, you are making Ogbono not tea dear 😂

  • Make sure your Ogbono seeds are not fried when you pour them into the palm oil otherwise it's most likely not to draw which is definitely not what you want.
You warm the palm oil in a pot, obviously🤪and pour in the grounded Ogbono into the pot and immediately turn off the heat as in IMMEDIATELY. The more it fries, the less likely it is to "draw"

  • Make sure the Ogbono is well dissolved in palm oil to avoid lumps later on in the soup. You did don't want to eat Ogbono lumps with your Eba🙂

Eba

Ingredients

Garri
Hot, hot, extremely hot water so as to have a hot, hot, extremely hot Eba😂

Description
This one no need plenty descriptions, lol

Sprinkle the garri into the hot water and cover the pot for a few minutes
Then stir and stir and stir and stir until you get your preferred texture- nobody wants a hard Eba and definitely not one that is too soft.

Serve Hot!!
P.S: You can make Eba on fire and off fire.
Although,I prefer making Eba off fire

I hope you enjoy listening to this podcast and please forgive me for all the background noises
