Special thanks to all of our guests along the way and all of you that have listened! Final bonus episode out next week! Thank you for listening! Mischief Managed.

Join us next week for minutes 1:02:56 to 1:12:55!

Join us next week for minutes 10:22 to 22:10!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with HP saying, “I suppose I’ll have to kill him before he finds me then.”.)

Episode 13 (Minutes 2:05:19 to END):
This week rescues us from the cellar of Malfoy Manor but leaves us with several questions about arm carving and the lack of Wormtail’s self-strangulation... We struggle through the end of this movie on the beach near Shell Cottage and only cry a few times. This project is great. 🙁

Episode 3 (Minutes 19:39 to 31:34):

Episode 15 (Minutes 2:19:05 to END):
This week awkwardly ends another movie in the Harry Potter movie saga. Cory accurately says “it gives end of Goblet of Fire vibes” which is yes, a bit disappointing. But hey! We did it! Another movie, another season, thank you so much for listening in!
Join us next season, thank you all!!
Episode 14 (Minutes 2:09:55 to 2:19:05):

Episode 5 (Minutes 39:42 to 49:31):
This week smoke forms our viewing of Dumbledore’s memory when he first meets Tom Riddle at the orphanage for peculiar children. We discuss the confusing tryouts scene where everyone gets a uniform? And since when can Hermione do non-verbal spells? Why is this allowed? And did Dumbledore kind of suggest murdering a child when Harry gets out of the pensieve..?
Join us next week for minutes 49:31 to 59:59!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with HP asking “Anyone fancy a butterbeer?”)
Episode 4 (Minutes 30:00 to 39:42):
This week resumes the beginning of the year feast with some sudden and inexplicable wardrobe changes on the part of Harry and Luna. Join us next week for minutes 39:42 to 49:31!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with HP putting his face in the Pensieve.)
Episode 3 (Minutes 20:51 to 30:00):

Listen in and thank you for joining us for another season of Harry Potter Movie Minutes!
Join us next week for the bonus episode!

This week propels us towards the end of this movie and the final battle at the ministry. (Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Fudge saying, “He’s back!”)
Episode 11 (Minutes 1:41:40 to 1:52:34):

This week launches us into another D.A. lesson with swooping patronuses and a casual bombing by Umbridge. Along with our guest, Bubbawheat, we try to unwrap the point of Grawp and why was Filch emptying the portraits? Also, who was Hagrid hiding from?? This week opens a briefcase of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes and launches us into wondering why that kid had a jowl chin? Also, a true crime theory evolves of what exactly happened to her mother…
Join us next week for minutes 51:00 to 1:01:05!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with HP left alone in the hallway, before Hermione speaks.)

This week proceeds with the legal drama of one Harry James Potter and his witness for the defense, APWBD. (I am not spelling that out). We talk disturbing train happenings such as an unsettling Voldemort in a suit and why is Sirius only wearing a furry coat?! This along with a fuzzy Order of the Phoenix photo and we have just so much to go over…
Join us next week for minutes 30:20 to 40:22!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Hermione saying “No idea” as the carriage leaves.)
Episode 2 (Minutes 10:19 to 20:52):
This week we arrive at Number 12 Grimmauld Place complete with the mad mutterings of Mrs. Black. Thank you all for your continued support, tune in soon for Season 5, Movie 5, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!
Episode 14 (Minutes 2:13:52 to END!):
This week wraps up season four, movie four! We throw around some theories as to what these final lines from Moody could mean and wonder why these movies hate a simple explanation? Also, the amount of times Harry is manhandled at the end of this movie is sort of indecent. We love these movies and this project, thank you to all of you who have listened so far!
Episode 13 (Minutes 2:03:07 to 2:13:52):
This week launches a Dark Mark into the sky that vomits out Death Eaters?! And we have so many more questions from there. Thankfully, we have our lovely guest, Paul Warren returning to the podcast to help us answer them. Listen in for mask screaming, creepy scar touching, and an indeterminable amount of Death Eaters in this graveyard.
Join us next week for minutes 2:13:52 to END!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Moody responding “Marvelous creatures, dragons, aren’t they?”)
Episode 12 (Minutes 1:52:53 to 2:03:07):
This week winds us through the (boring) maze challenge and transports us to the graveyard. We talk tombstones, Voldemort puppets, and the efficiency with which Wormtail chops off his own hand. Very impressive. Very gross.
Join us next week for minutes 2:03:07 to 2:13:52!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Voldy touching his wand to Wormtail’s Dark Mark.)
Episode 11 (Minutes 1:42:42 to 1:52:53):
This week falls backward a super long way down into Igor Karkaroff’s courtroom scene and a chaotic amount of paper stacks. We wonder about the rabid madness of Crouch Jr. and why everyone might seem so weary in this scene. The organization of Snape’s potion closet becomes an issue as well as Harry having yet another door slammed in his face by a faculty member.
Join us next week for minutes 1:52:53 to 2:03:07!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Moody clapping HP on the shoulder, he enters the maze.)
Episode 10 (Minutes 1:32:35 to 1:42:42):
This week swims us through the second task and the impressive underwater scenes. We admire most of this but have feelings about the dummy/puppet/wax figures… Also, Barty Crouch, Sr. is an odd character we can’t get a grip on from the movie. Comment on our social media why you think Moody glared at HP while shutting the door-or if you remember “Street Sharks”! :)
Join us next week for minutes 1:42:42 to 1:52:53!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Moody shutting Dumby’s office door on HP.)
Episode 9 (Minutes 1:22:53 to 1:32:35):
This week floats us into Harry’s dream/vision (we aren’t sure which) before the second task. We discuss the complexity of that dream, how Neville deserves better, and isn’t that Ginny telling off the twins for taking bets?! Weigh in and listen now!
Join us next week for minutes 1:32:35 to 1:42:42!

Episode 8 (Minutes 1:12:12 to 1:22:53):
This week floats us into the Yule Ball and we have a LOT to say. Thankfully, we have our lovely guest Brian with us to help us break it all down from the costumes to the decor to the theories on the background teens. Who is McGonagall talking to saying they're late? Are students drinking at this event? And for the love, what is that creature on Moody’s kilt?!
Join us next week for minutes 1:22:53 to 1:32:35!

We argue over Hogwarts merch and how friends and brothers actually make up after fights. We also joyfully discuss the concept of floating toast and why Filch is a thing…so it’s chaos but so much fun to discuss. Thanks again to our friend of the pod, Brock!
Join us next week for minutes 1:12:12 to 1:22:53!
Episode 6 (Minutes 52:08 to 1:02:45):
This week clomps us into Moody’s office and creates so many questions about this space (does he live there? Are those all foe glasses?! What is in his hand?!) We witness the chaos of the first task and have even more possibly unanswerable questions about the dragons involved. Also, CGI Madame Maxime…good Lord. Buckle up!

Episode 5 (Minutes 41:31 to 52:08):
This week swoops us up into the owlery for the first time to get a note from Sirius and bite from an asshole bird. We see fire breathing dragons in wooden crates, Neville in a loch, and a courtyard showdown that is…problematic. For many reasons. (Why is it always ferrets?!)
Join us next week for minutes 52:08 to 1:02:45!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Moody saying, “You, come with me” and HP follows)
Episode 4 (Minutes 31:22 to 41:31):
This week gathers us around the Goblet of Fire in anticipation of the choosing of the champions. This week stampedes us into the chaos caused by the Death Eaters at the Quidditch World Cup. We make it to Hogwarts where we have definite feelings about the two schools invited to the tournament, specifically their entrances and the weird arrival of Mad-Eye Moody. Can anyone explain the ceiling freakout?!
Join us next week for minutes 21:32 to 31:22!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with HP saying, “I don’t think it’s pumpkin juice,” Moody shudders.)
Episode 1 (Minutes 0 to 10:30):
This week slithers us into the graveyard and into movie 4, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”! (Or as Cory refers to it, “Harry Potter and the Year of No Haircuts”.) We dive right into the new season discussing the Quidditch World Cup and lack of mascots, why wouldn’t anyone explain a portkey, and what is with these precarious seats?! Enjoy the new added segment this season, the probably unanswerable question! (Special thanks to Brock and the podcast "The Rewatchables"!)
Join us next week for minutes 10:30 to 21:32!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Arthur saying “We’ve got to get out of here, now.”)
You know what time it is, it's the season-ending Bonus/Boner episode! We watched the 4:30 minutes of deleted scenes on YouTube and had a few feelings about them...just a few. Enjoy the nonsense and, as always, thank you so much for listening!

Feel free to reach out with your own questions and theories, we'd love to hear from you!
Episode 13 (Minutes 2:00:05 to THE END): This week wraps up this chaotic movie and finishes the mission Dumbledore had given HP and Hermione. We discuss our feelings about this movie overall and Cory breaks his microphone when he explains the giant missing plot points that Lupin could have offered (please excuse the crackling..). Stay tuned for a post-credit scene with an again patient Cory trying to teach Andrea how to pronounce long A’s…sigh. Thank you again for listening this season! Tune in next week for the Bonus episode where we watch the deleted scenes!
Episode 12 (Minutes 1:50:00 to 2:00:05):
This week trots us down to Hagrid’s hut once more as future-Harry and future-Hermione begin their mission from Dumbledore (not at all confusing). We delight in the scenes with Beaky and have a few things to say about how Hermione is portrayed in this sequence. Also, CROW BUDGET.
Join us next week for minutes 2:00:05 to THE END!

Join us next week for minutes 1:40:00 to 1:50:00!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Wormtail transforming and running away as a rat.)
Episode 9 (Minutes 1:19:12 to 1:30:12):
This week casts us into the Divination classroom where a sassy Hermione slaps away an apparently unbreakable crystal ball. In this chunk, we are treated to an unsettling Macnair, a chaotic trip to Hagrid’s cabin, and for the love, just drop the rat! Enjoy our talking to the Zoom voiceover lady we named Jane as well as CJ’s confrontation with Mary in the post credits…
Join us next week for minutes 1:30:12 to 1:40:00!

Episode 8 (Minutes 1:09:45 to 1:19:12): This week continues the Patronus lesson with Lupin where Harry plays with flames and talks about his imagination. We truly enjoy so many moments in this chunk and start wonder if last week’s guest @itspaulwarren made us like this movie again?! How dare you! Listen in for some truly fun theories as to whether or not Snape knows more than he’s letting on about the map and what’s with the portrait of the man with the funnel hat?! (No post-credits this week, it’s a short one!) Join us next week for minutes 1:19:12 to 1:30:12! (Scene Marker: This chunk ends with HP saying “Night, Professor.”)
Episode 7 (Minutes 59:01 to 1:09:45):
This week we have a special guest joining us in Hogsmeade! Join us next week for minutes 1:09:45 to 1:19:12!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Lupin saying “not nearly good enough”.)
Episode 6 (Minutes 48:15 to 59:01):

Join us next week for minutes 59:01 to 1:09:45!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Hedwig flying over the grounds and we see HP in the clock window.)
Episode 5 (Minutes 38:49 to 48:15):
This week crashes us through the windows and clip clops into the Great Hall carrying a ghost head? Join us next week for minutes 48:15 to 59:01!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Hermione saying “It’s not funny, Ron.”)

Join us next week for minutes 38:49 to 48:15!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Buckbeak nudging Harry.)
Episode 3 (Minutes 19:43 to 29:14):
This week stops the Hogwarts Express on the bridge to let dementors board and suck our faces. We lose our minds over the bullfrog choir and have a hard time with the replacements of the Hogwarts staff. However, we are not mad at the dementors depiction...nicely done...ooky spooky.
Join us next week for minutes 29:14 to 38:49!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with the twitter bird smacking into the Whomping Willow.)
Episode 2 (Minutes 10:16 to 19:43):
This week’s chunk drives us to the Leaky Cauldron and into another exasperated conversation about the shrunken head. Listen in as we admire Fudge’s new haircut but can’t stand the Igor/Uncle Fester version of Tom. Oof. Also, stick around for the shortest post-credits ever (yawn and you’ll miss it!)
Join us next week for minutes 19:43 to 29:14!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with HP shutting the compartment door saying “I’ve gotta tell you something.)
Episode 1 (Minutes 0 to 10:16):

Join us next week for minutes 10:16 to 19:43!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with the shrunken head saying “before it eats you!”)
Join us this week for a chaotic yelling about the deleted scenes from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets! Thanks again for listening and join us very soon for Season 3, Movie 3, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!
Episode 15: (Minutes 2:21:11 to END)
This week finally puts us out of our misery as this long movie comes to a screeching halt in the last few scenes. We get excruciatingly slow deliveries of lines in Dumby’s office as well as a revelation in what Lucius actually starts to say to Harry in the hall (spoiler-not trying to kill the kid. We were shocked, too).
Join us for the last few moments of cheese in the final chunk of this movie and join us for the bonus episode (deleted scenes!) next week!!
Episode 14: (Minutes 2:10:32 to 2:21:11)
This week continues the “battle” between HP and the basilisk while Hot Tom continues to hang out monologuing. We take issue with the camera choices during this chunk and wonder why Hot Tom wouldn’t just kill Harry himself? Also, is the basilisk even a snake?? Enjoy our ranting in this penultimate episode, ALMOST DONE WITH SEASON TWO! (Whew!)
Join us next week for minutes 2:21:11 to THE END!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Dumbledore saying, “It would take a true Gryffindor to pull that out of the hat.”)
Episode 13: (Minutes 2:00:45 to 2:10:32)
This week winds us deeper into the chamber to meet Hot (Ghost) Tom and the largest snake you ever did see. (Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Harry saying, “He was innocent.”)
Episode 10: (Minutes 1:29:19 to 1:41:48)
This week sucks us inside of a diary to show us the occurrences from 50 years ago in sepia tone..and oh so quickly. We wonder about the decision to show other students their friend’s petrified body, how old was hot Tom, and who would be that calm going to prison?!
Join us next week for minutes 1:41:48 to 1:50:58!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Fudge saying, “Come, Hagrid”.)
Episode 9: (Minutes 1:19:32 to 1:29:19)
This week we put two unconscious children in a closet and steal their identities for a bit (problematic). We can’t understand why we bothered with keeping Ron and Harry’s voices in the bodies and why would HP still need glasses?! Listen for our theories on the diary being sentient and the possibility that Hermione could be the next Moaning Myrtle.
Join us next week for minutes 1:29:19 to 1:41:48.
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with zooming in on the date “13th June” in the diary.)
Episode 8: (Minutes 1:09:14 to 1:19:32)
This week explains why everyone stared at Harry like a freak for talking to a snake and we wonder why this never came up before? We discuss the clunky petrified ghost/Justin scene and why is that baby phoenix gooey?! Stick around for the post-credits and the melodrama of Cory’s neighbors.
Join us next week for minutes 1:19:32 to 1:29:19
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Harry saying to Ron, “Come on, lets get them.”)
Episode 7: (Minutes 59:13 to 1:09:14)
This week we wake up hearing disembodied voices and find Dobby staring us right in the freaking face. We question what time period this hospital wing is from and who allowed the dueling club to become such an absolute shitshow? And some snake chatting, of course.
Join us next week for minutes 1:09:14 to 1:19:32.
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Harry looking at Lockhart, then at Snape)
Episode 6: (Minutes 51:18 to 59:13)
This week finds us in a beautiful library looking at a very weird version of “Most Potente Potions”-then flings us back onto the quidditch pitch. We have to talk about this chaotic match and why, dear god, did we have to make the boneless arm noises so awful?! Stay tuned for the post-credits to hear Cory’s Rocky Horror musings.
Join us next week for minutes 59:13 to 1:09:14.
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Madame Pomfrey saying “What did you expect? Pumpkin juice?!”)
Episode 5: (Minutes 39:51 to 51:18)
This week opens in Hagrid’s Hut of Horror and chases us into the corridor to find the bloody (high up!) message. We can’t help but laugh at the petrified Mrs. Norris and question so many things about this discovery scene like what time is it?! Who would notice spiders??
Join us next week for minutes 51:18 to 59:13!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Ron looking back at a smirking Malfoy in Transfiguration class.)
Episode 4: (Minutes 29:27 to 39:51)
This week drags us to Snape’s hot mess office for a dramatic tongue-lashing followed by a chaotic Defense Against the Dark Arts class. We discuss our shared fear of the pixies as well as the mystery age of the red-headed quidditch player for Slytherin. Stick around for the post-credits where we discuss the far-distant potential of another nerdy podcast..(yikes).
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with the trio rushing away from the crowd, Malfoy snickering)
Episode 3: (Minutes 19:38 to 29:27)
This week shoves us between two adult men at Flourish and Blotts and then into a visibly flying car on the way to Hogwarts! Andrea has trouble with the 10:58 timetable, Cory doesn’t love the puppet Hedwig, and we both didn’t need that hanging out of the car scene. Enjoy the post-credits of Andrea falling down the stairs like an a-hole while recording.
Join us next week for minutes 29:27 to 39:51!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Filch saying “Oh my, we are in trouble”)
Episode 2: (Minutes 10:30 to 19:38)

Join us next week for minutes 10:30 to 19:38!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Ron saying “By the way, Harry, happy birthday”)

Join us next week for minutes 2:14:00 to THE END!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Harry smiling as Dumbledore leaves the hospital wing.)
Episode 12: (Minutes 1:58:08 to 2:06:53)

(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Harry walking down the stairs to the next enchantment...)
Episode 11: (Minutes 1:48:57 to 1:58:08)
This week we sneak out of our dorms and down the trap door. We wonder how far down can this trap door really go and IS there a spy network via the portraits?! This chunk brings the trio to the enchantments (not all of them!) protecting the stone. (Apologies for the dog interruptions. They are indeed, little jerks.)
Join us next week for minutes 1:58:08 to 2:06:53!

Episode 10: (Minutes 1:37:27 to 1:48:57)
This week trots us down to Hagrid’s hut after discovering the identity of Nicolas Flamel in the most ridiculous way. We question how Malfoy is looking through the oddly decorated stained glass windows and WHY must the dragon have goo?! This chunk of minutes leads us into the dark forest and hurtling towards the end of the movie.
Join us next week for minutes 1:48:57 to 1:58:08!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Firenze saying “You’re safe now, good luck” and the dead unicorn...)

This week, it’s Christmas at Hogwarts! Hermione Leaves Harry and Ron with some mischievous advice and we question if the Weasley parents purposely ditched their sons for the holidays. This chunk sneaks us around the castle only to come across a Krampus-version of Dumbledore. We also debate, is the Mirror of Erised actually modified?
Join us next week for minutes 1:37:27 to 1:49:02!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Hedwig flying over the grounds bringing winter to spring…)
Episode 8: (Minutes 1:13:44 to 1:25:05)
This week flies us into our first Quidditch match at Hogwarts with a truly suspicious amount of spectators. We both wonder where all these people came from and how Harry can go from wobbly one minute to being capable of “broom surfing” the next? This chunk winds us around the Quidditch pitch with a truly odd mixture of CGI and green screen images that leaves us feeling unsettled.
Join us next week for minutes 1:25:05 to 1:37:27!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Hermione responding to Harry with “I dunno”...)
Episode 7: (Minutes 1:00:50 to 1:13:44)
This week swings us (directly) over to the third floor corridors and into many questions we have about that area of the castle. We discuss a theory about the statue and the general dislike of the noises we experience there. This chunk runs us into some deep and disturbing questions about Fluffy, more time with our Wood crush, and our deep disgust for Quirrell as a panicky professor. Thankfully, one horrible, video-game-looking battle with a disgusting troll later, the trio are finally BFFs.
Join us next week for minutes 1:13:44 to 1:25:05!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Quirrell being startled by the snoring troll…)
Episode 6: (Minutes 50:20 to 1:00:50)
This week rushes us through our first day of classes and the first (and only) flying lesson at Hogwarts. We seriously question Madam Hooch’s qualifications and also, why isn’t she called “professor?!” This chunk finds us eventually creating a spinoff of just Sir Nicholas and the Grey Lady roaming around gossiping after killing off Harry’s character. Should be a hit. (Another small post-credits fight again this week…)
Join us next week for minutes 1:00:50 to 1:13:44!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with the trio at the trophy case and Harry’s line, “I didn’t know”...)
Episodes 5: (Minutes 41:28 to 50:20)
This week brings us into Hogwarts and the tradition of the Sorting Hat (minus the song!). We get into a mathematical debate about the number of students and realize it’s possible neither of us know what we’re talking about. This chunk invites us to the first feast in the Great Hall despite ghosts getting all up in that chicken. Stay tuned after the show for our sad attempt at an elocution lesson from two former Midwesterners. (Also, we definitely forgot to say our likes and dislikes. We’re sorry, we suck sometimes!)
Join us next week for minutes 50:20 to 1:00:50!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Harry petting Hedwig next to an open window…)

This chunk introduces us to the Weasleys as we travel to Hogwarts and truly brings us a lot of joy. Also, our heroine Hermione comes in hot with her big dick energy and we are HERE for it.
Join us next week for minutes 41:28 to 50:20!

Episode 3: (Minutes 20:08 to 31:02)
This week we experience Diagon Alley for the first time, glorious Gringott’s, and we clear up last week’s post-credits “disagreement”. We love the details of everything but we aren’t happy about missing poems or goblin fingers. This chunk also has us wondering why Ollivander is so creepy and whether or not he’s actually a good storekeeper. Post-credits have us discussing embarrassing shows that we’re into (just a few…)
Join us next week for minutes 31:02 to 41:28!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Hagrid’s line “You’re the boy who lived”...)
Episode 2: (Minutes 10:01 to 20:08)
This week we see Harry turn 11 and enter the wizarding world-all thanks to a large, hairy man breaking into a shack. This chunk has us wondering how everyone knows exactly what HP looks like at 11, why is Hagrid so trusted, and is it possible that he’s a bit twisted for disfiguring a child? Stay after the podcast for a few minutes of a heated Quirrell debate.
Join us next week for minutes 20:08 to 31:02!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Harry Potter telling Quirrell “goodbye” at the Leaky Cauldron…)
Episode 1: (Minutes 0 to 10:01)
This week we dive into the first chunk of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone! We meet toy baby Harry Potter, the sort of shitty Dursley’s, OG Dumbledore, and so many freaking owls. In this chunk, we look for scripty writing on the letters, costume details, and wish we had more Figg! We also coin the phrase “book bitch” for when we notice a discrepancy between the books and the movies.
Join us next week for minutes 10:01 to 20:08!
(Scene Marker: This chunk ends with Harry Potter slowly closing his cupboard door…)
Welcome to Harry Potter Movie Minutes! A weekly podcast with two bi-coastal friends dissecting the movies of the wizarding world approximately 10 minutes at a time.
