While on the planet, they end up running into some, well, unexpected problems. Also, Ron thinks back on an Orwellianan conversation with Efficax from his past.

It's Tax Day on Aquius-9, much to the dismay of its residents. Well, mostly just Jane and Duncan, seeing as Donald isn't exactly filled in on the concept of "taxes". However, even though it's Tax Day, that doesn't mean there aren't be any life-threatening emergencies. Plus, Ron spends some time reminiscing about an old friend over coffee while trying desperately to keep order on the station.

Ron Catiline has always had a mixed bag of feelings about politics, and being a governor isn't helping. Ron is the young, new, slightly pessimistic governor on Aquius-9. Aside from his government of four, the planet is completely uninhabited- the crewmembers are left at his mercy and outrageous antics. Most of the time, there's not much to do, which leads to some very, well, interesting occurrences. Today, when Ron gets into a fight with one of his crewmates, he makes an interesting discovery about one of the station appliances, which only worsens his issues. The disagreement turns into full-fledged chaos, and it becomes apparent that there's more than just pride on the line in this fight.
