Are you ready to join the iHemp Revolution?
Andrew Bish is the COO of Bish Enterprises, and the founder of Hemp Harvest Works. After exiting the retail management industry after 14 years, he rejoined the family business in 2012 and transitioned into the agriculture industry.
Since 2015, he has been focusing on identifying and resolving the many issues currently facing hemp harvesting and processing. His goal is to provide equipment that helps standardize hemp farming practices, while allowing growers to increase their scale of operation and decrease costs.
2015 is the first time that Andrew participated in harvesting hemp. Bish harvested 180 acres near Fort Morgan, CO with the SuperCrop® header. In 2017, Andrew was instrumental in the harvest of MTSU’s hemp research plots.
In 2018 Andrew publicly demonstrated the 1st mechanized whole plant harvester, the Hemp Handler, at Salt Creek Hemp Company in Colbran, CO, and released a Claas forage harvester swathing conversion kit.

Pure Hemp Collective has a proud heritage of excellence – the result of a century’s worth of traditions, which we are happy to share with you. We honor the legacy of a woman of ambition and independence, an icon ahead of her time who was unwilling to submit to the societal limitations of her time, so that we may inspire women – and men – for all time. Our mission is simple: promote health and wellness. We combine hemp extract with a proprietary blend of natural ingredients to create our products for you. Our rigorous evaluation of every ingredient demonstrates our interest in quality. We scrutinize everything we use and never overcharge for the benefits we provide. That is the mission of Pure Hemp Collective, one we accept with pride and responsibility. Terri Leek is the creator of a business and the curator of a brand, whose history extends from the Roaring Twenties to success in the 21st century.
She sustains the memory of the namesake of her products, Vina Bell, which adorns the packaging of the capsules, salves, topical creams and tinctures her company develops.
That memory is as much a fact – a tangible reality – of the present as it is a tribute to the past; because each product combines hemp extract with other natural ingredients, in addition to a blend of essential oils, providing quick absorption and immediate relief for pain.
Terri achieves this feat by way of honoring the women who preceded her, as well as the women who stand beside her, eager to proceed with qualities few possess and a commitment to a degree of quality fewer will ever achieve.
As a leader, she inspires her colleagues and customers alike. Terri is a champion of Pure Hemp Collective.

Helping Our Clients Work Smarter. Not Harder!
C&D has already been providing these services to clients for over 10 years, so we have established parternships with well-known providers.
A few years ago we saw a need in the cannabis industry to provide not only employee paychecks that can be deposited into any bank, but also for employers to be able to offer a package of benefits to their employees including health insurance, retirement, and savings accounts, whether the employers contributes or not.
Let's schedule a call to discuss the options for you or your business, no matter how small. We work on a flat-rate basis and even the annual filings are included in the fee so there are no surprises.
You and your staff can stay focused on what you do best. Working. Producing. Selling. Let us do the nerdy stuff for you.

City of Greeley History as an agricultural community: “Now embracing iHemp!”
Founded in 1869 as an experimental utopian society by Horace Greeley, editor at the New York Tribune, that popularized the phrase "Go West, young man". Located at the confluence of the Cache la Poudre and South Platte Rivers, the construction of irrigation ditches was central to the agricultural vision for Greeley.
Greeley’s water history is long and elaborate, including the 13-miles long Number 3 Ditch completed in 1870 and the 35 miles long Ditch No. 2 opened in 1872 that irrigated 2,000 acres. The City of Greeley has a long commitment to supporting local agriculture with water and services to underpin its agri-food economy.

Coach is recorder live in the “Hemp House on Wheels” in Blandon PA for the “Hemp Entrepreneur Podcast”. Hosts Drew Oberholtzer and Cameron Mcintosh have a conversation with the Coach about his travels on the “iHemp Revolution Road Show”.
By Drew Oberholtzer: Occasionally you come across a person whose spirit and vitality inspire you to become a better person. As this week’s guest can often be heard saying, his mission is, "...inspiring people to do things that inspire them." Coach Freddie Cecchini of the iHemp Revolution Podcast stopped by for a few days this week to interview us and see the Hemp House On Wheels, so we took the opportunity to do the same.
Coach Freddie is a larger than life industrial hemp advocate who began an industrial hemp podcast back in 2014 on the heels of the last Obama Farm Bill. He recognized that the door had been opened and signed on to follow the presidential campaign trail in 2015 with a few others in order to advocate on behalf of industrial hemp. This journey led Coach to meet many of the players in the industry and provided him with a wealth of content for his show and a broad network of friends across the country.
Since then, Coach Freddie has been traveling the country eight months out of the year in his 1966 Austin Healy on the iHemp Revolution Roadshow. He promotes the brand of industrial hemp diligently and without pause, whether he’s pumping gas or jamming out on his frottoir (also known as the washboard). He is also a small business coach (hence the nickname) who promotes mission driven businesses focused on a triple bottom line; planet, people and profit.
Please feel free to share your Coach Freddie stories with us on social media or via email at HempEntrepreneurPodcast@gmail.com so we can share them! Please include your name and what platform you listen to the Hemp Entrepreneur Podcast on most!

Our products provide an optimal service life, keeping cultural and natural resources in a better state of conservation while lowering the world’s carbon footprint. Those who work with us on this worthy goal aid in creating American jobs while caring for the legacy of our architectural future and its past by planning for a more eco-friendly and sustainable future.
LimeWorks.us A manufacturer, educator and mentor in the use of breathable lime mortars, stuccos, plasters, and paints which are used for historic masonry restoration and sustainable building systems. The combination of our product lines helps to process water away from building interiors which results in extending the service life of buildings worldwide. LimeWorks.us bridges the gap between architects, engineers, owners and practitioners.
Andy deGruchy is the owner of LimeWorks.us, the nation’s leading manufacturer and distributor of “green” historic preservation and sustainable building mortars, plasters and paints based on lime and not Portland cement.
His lime-based materials are used for durable, appropriate, time-tested historic masonry restoration campaigns. Their Mission: To create robust, sustainable, and diverse cannabis industries in the Empire State.
We are a family with combined decades of experience in all facets of the hemp and cannabis industries including cultivation, product development, finance, distribution, and research.
At Castetter Sustainability Group, we are focused on developing a robust, sustainable, and diverse cannabis industry in New York from production of high cannabinoid hemp, to regulatory analysis and advocacy, and helping businesses thrive in the Empire State.
We are a family with a deep history of wide ranging experience and talent. Our partner farmers bring the knowledge and experience gained from generations of working their land. Pesticide Free, Family Farmed, and Sustainably Grown.
Our network of small farms throughout New York State proudly grows high-cannabinoid hemp, each with their own story and all situated on beautiful New York land. Each of our farmers takes pride in producing high quality hemp free of pesticides or herbicides for use in medicinal and nutritional products.
It starts with hemp wine in 1997. Jim Castetter founded the first hemp infused wine, Hemp Wine America, in 1997. The company enjoyed break-out success until the government moved to shut him down due to lack of understanding of non-psychoactive hemp products.
In 2015, Kaelan Castetter began exploring the legality of bringing hemp wine back to market. Two years later, Sovereign Vines was launched as America’s Only Hemp Infused Wine. The hunt for the perfect strain.
Kaelan and Jim Castetter set out to grow hemp that possessed the perfect terpene profile to compliment their wine. Aldous Loyd joined the team at this point, bringing with him the experience of twenty years in the cannabis industry.
The team began exploring the emerging hemp market. A hemp industry in silos.
The corporate co-op is born. The team began partnering with local farmers in the summer of 2018. Castetter Sustainability Group was created to remediate the problems facing the New York hemp industry.
By forming a collective of farmers throughout the state we can secure more revenue for farmers, use the knowledge and experience of a statewide network, and create a consistent and high quality crop between farms.
Castetter Sustainability Group Mission: To create robust, sustainable, and diverse cannabis industries in the Empire State.

The mission of Vote Hemp is to gain the acceptance of and free market for hemp as an agricultural crop in the U.S.
Vote Hemp is a national nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to a free market for industrial hemp, low-THC varieties of Cannabis, and to changes in current law to allow U.S. farmers to grow the crop.
Our ultimate goal is having hemp grown on a commercial scale in the U.S. once again and for the crop to be able to be processed here as well. We educate the public on the benefits of hemp farming and work with grassroots activists, legislators, businesses and family farmers to fulfill our mission.
Vote Hemp has been working since 2000 to move federal regulation of industrial hemp farming out of the hands of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to state departments of agriculture.
California Hemp Council: The California Hemp Council (CHC) was established to provide a strong, unified voice for the hemp industry before the California State Legislature, Office of the Governor, and Executive Branch. Established in 2019, the CHC is dedicated to supporting and expanding the hemp industry in the state, including the protection and expansion of in-state cultivation, manufacturing, and use of hemp.
In California, members of the CHC worked to ensure that the state was ready for hemp legalization at the national level and successfully sponsored and passed state legislation (Senate Bill 1409, Chapter No. 986, Statutes of 2018) to allow California farmers to enter the hemp market and meet the growing demands of hemp product companies.
The California Hemp Council (CHC) represents the statewide interests of the hemp industry in The Golden State, including the protection and expansion of in-state cultivation, manufacturing, and use of hemp. The main goal of the CHC is to influence legislative and regulatory issues impacting the hemp industry and its related products and to ensure that the industry has a strong, unified voice in Sacramento.

The CBD business in Chattanooga TN called "Hemp House" was started in October 2017 by Dwayne Madden. The idea came while attending local event during the national Hemp History Week. It was then that he met some amazing TN hemp farmers with locally grown products. His research into CBD began there and continues today.
Working close with our local farmers allows us to answer questions honestly about the products. We know how they were grown, where they are grown and by whom they are grown. Hemp House takes a lot of pride in finding the best quality CBD products around. The Hemp House staff are constantly doing research to stay on top of the latest Hemp/CBD events & news.

Carolina Hemp Company is a retail hemp store and wholesale distributor of quality hemp flower extracts such as sublingual oils and other hemp products. We are the premiere hemp company in Western North Carolina and are focused on building a business that helps bring hemp to the mainstream market.
Our aim is to set a benchmark for the industry in terms of production, product and service to the community. We are working with local and regional farmers, local educators, industry leaders, manufacturers, and retailers to rebuild a market chain that will provide quality jobs for our state and region.
Our passion is driven by the opportunity to bring real growth, sustainable products and viable, proven alternatives to pharmaceuticals into our communities.
Our Story & Kingdom Harvest's Whole Spectrum Hemp Extract
In 2015 and 2016, the North Carolina General Assembly passed legislation allowing industrial hemp to be grown in the state once again after nearly 80 years of Federal prohibition. This landmark moment in our state’s agricultural history was met with an up-welling of support, bringing together a group of people from different backgrounds, all sharing the same vision to bring back a plant of such importance.
Together, Kingdom Harvest encompasses farmers, botanical extractors, marketers and local retailers forming a seed to sale synergy. From planting through manufacturing and sales, all aspects of our operations are under the careful control and oversight of our group.
We selected a high quality strain of industrial hemp and, with the support of members of the community, planted our first crop at the Kingdom in 2017. We employ minimally invasive planting methods and nurture the crop without the use of pesticides.
Our Kingdom Harvest crop flourished under the unique growing conditions of the Kingdom. The crop grew so well it presented an opportunity to create a new method of processing designed to capture the special attributes this plant possesses.
Lastly, our team of experienced botanical extractors developed processes that both activate those most sought after phytonutrients while preserving delicate compounds in their natural state.
The result is a Whole Spectrum Hemp Extract: a combination of multiple extracts from the industrial hemp plant, each minimally refined and each providing a substantially different fraction of the phytonutrients found within the plant.

Hippie Butter's Favorite Quote: "My mission is to make hemp such a common occurence that our kids will grow up listening to us gripe about how the kids don't respect the changes we made, while they roll their eyes, storm out of the house in their hemp jeans, stealing the keys to the bio-fueled car, blaring tunes while they munch on a hemp powerbar, on their way to the cafe to meet with their friends to smoke a joint, have a coffee and listen to "real, up-and-coming culture jammers, not like the ones our friggin' parents' claim to be." Our kids won't see why hemp is such a "big deal" because hemp and other alternatives will just be all around them, plain as day."--Puff Mama.

The cannabis industry is a unique and complex industry, especially when it comes to taxes and accounting. Because of the legality at the state level and illegality at the federal level, many traditional accounting firms won’t even touch cannabis businesses. This leaves the fastest growing industry in the United States vastly underserved by traditional accounting firms and poorly serviced by CPAs that don’t know cannabis accounting.
Leaf Book CFO Services is proud to serve as your cannabis accountant. We know how to maximize your deduction under the constraints of 280E and utilize IRS Code Section 471 to maximize your cost of goods sold deduction. The Hempest was founded in 1995 with the conviction that bringing hemp back to the marketplace and into full view of the public was the best way to counter the misinformation and ignorance that has surrounded this plant for years.
Owners, Mitch Rosenfield and Jon Napoli Says: We also believe the market is the best place create change, for as the demand for hemp increases so will the pressure to allow it to be freely grown around the world. We will continue to create and sell the finest and largest selection of hemp products found anywhere until that goal is achieved.
Your purchase helps achieve that goal of a cleaner, greener future for all! We have sourced hemp fabrics and garments from all over the world, and have established great relationships with mills and factories in China, the world's largest producer of Industrial Hemp.
You will find our clothing is a big step above the burlapy, thick fibers many envision when they hear Hemp clothing. We work directly with one of the world's most advanced, and eco-friendly hemp textile producers, who's stringent environmental quality standards and fair labor practices landed them as 2nd member to the Fair Wear Foundation.
All dyes and fabrics we use are Oeko-Tex certified and meet the most stringent European standards in the industry. We have communicated with many state legislators and have been politically active in the US to try to re-establish Hemp farming practices right here in our back yard.
Every dollar you spend on our product is a dollar spent on bringing us one step closer to that goal. The reality of Hemp's resurgence is upon us as in 2017, we have watched this movement grow into tangible Hemp crops now being cultivated in many US states with more to follow.
Hemp is our past, present and future, and can still save the planet. Believe it!

Mexitaly Brick Oven BrewHouse
In the early 90’s our founder, Greg Skirboll, was a man with a dream. He dreamt of a place where good food and good people could come together without traditional culinary limitations and chain restaurant gimmicks. Where guests come to tailor their experience, making fond memories and leaving with happy, full stomachs.
What started as a “burrito bus” food truck concept has luckily for us, evolved into his uncontrollably delicious Mexitaly movement! After years of working with the suits in “the real world”, Greg finally followed his dreams and combined his love of traditional Mexican cuisine and his initial experience of working in his mother’s Italian Restaurant to create something nobody had ever seen before.
It’s no wonder that after a decade of serving York, Mexitaly has grown into a favorite local hangout. Serving food to satisfy even the pickiest foodie, creating highly rated craft brews on-premise, and hosting live musical talent three days a week.
Mexitaly proves that dreams do come true; They would love to invite you there so yours can be fulfilled too!

Learn about the fascinating details of the old Pennsylvania hemp industry in the Hempstone Heritage Series written be Les Stark. By analyzing many primary documents he was able to come up with a unique perspective of the old hemp industry.
What he found was a story nothing short of amazing! Les is now able to bring the story of the Pennsylvania hemp industry to the world. There were over 100 water-powered hemp mills lining the streams creeks and rivers of Lancaster County alone with dozens of hemp mills in neighboring York County and the surrounding counties.
There were almost as many oil mills for processing hempseed and flaxseed oil. The Hempstone Heritage Series reveals to us all of the fascinating details of this once thriving industry.

PAHIC Secretary/Treasurer & Executive Director – Erica McBride
Erica brings to PAHIC years of experience in legislative advocacy, industrial hemp education, and non-profit administration. She is also the Executive Director of the National Hemp Association.
Erica was instrumental in enacting legislation in Pennsylvania which provided farmers and hemp advocates the opportunity to grow hemp for the first time in 80 years. She is proud to be managing three of PA’s hemp trials this year, and she is looking forward to serving our members and acting as a key leader for upcoming federal hemp legislation.
The Pennsylvania Hemp Industry Council seeks to accelerate the return of the Industrial Hemp Crop to the Pennsylvania agricultural landscape. To effectively achieve our aim of broad adoption of Industrial Hemp as a rotational crop by farmers, we will build a vital and effective collaboration of agencies, individuals and the general public.
Pennsylvania is a very strong agricultural state with over 63 thousand farms and almost 8 million acres of farm land. These farmers, the entire state, as well as the environment would benefit tremendously from the ability to grow industrial hemp. With our ideal climate and close proximity to major markets, we need to return this vital cash crop to our state.

CharGrow brand products are synergistic charcoal blends that are specially designed to build the health of your plants and the vitality of your soil. It is an ancient technology that we have refined for modern day use. Several years ago we made an important discovery.
Through its interaction with soil microbes and plant roots, BioChar creates unique growing conditions that produce lush and abundant crops. After 6 years of university trials, we now believe it will totally change the way crops are grown in the future. In many ways, it already has. Our work
At CharGrow, we create biochar products that optimize plant performance and increase water and nutrient holding capacity of soil. We begin our process by collecting wood residuals that would otherwise be discarded.
Under carefully controlled high temperature conditions, this material is transformed to biochar; a charcoal like substance that is specifically designed to enrich the soil. To finish the process, we inoculate our biochar with beneficial soil microorganisms and plant foods.
In addition to its many soil benefits, biochar takes over 1000 years to break down. When used in the soil, it provides a perfectly natural system of capturing carbon from the atmosphere and putting it back in the earth. In this manner, we have a nearly permanent way of building plant productivity and reducing greenhouse gases for generations to come.

The store recently relocated to a larger location to help expand their selection of clothing, home accessories, and other hemp product lines. Crumly says hemp can be used for many thing, and it’s important to break the stigma associated with hemp.
“Most people, if you say the word hemp, they think either rope or marijuana,” says Crumly. “And you have to re-educated people so they understand that hemp is so much more than its connection with its cousin plant, marijuana.”

Third Wave - Mike Lewis
Third Wave Farms takes pride in being innovators in a farmer facing hemp agri-business. Our team is comprised of farmers, seed breeders and traders applying the principals of grass roots economics to expand hemp opportunities for rural American farmers. Our commitment is to offer a more equitable risk model by providing farmers new opportunities to grow hemp as part of their regular crop rotation. Third Wave's competitive advantages start with our team, our process and our hands on experience growing this amazing crop.
Pioneers
In 2014 Mike Lewis and a team of fellow Veterans were amongst the first Americans to legally farm hemp in the U.S. since its prohibition in the 1970's. Hemp provided the veterans in Kentucky the opportunity to connect back to the land they defended and grow a crop with hundreds of different applications in food, fiber and medicine. Thirty-nine (39) states have now defined industrial hemp as distinct from Marijuana and removed barriers to its production. 19 states have implemented pilot study programs to farm and study industrial hemp. Empowering Farmers
Third Wave: Mike - Rick - Trent
Our mission is to ensure that hemp is a sustainable business model under the stewardship of farmers. Through compliant research partners, strain genetics development and setting higher standards for a quality hemp supply chain we ensure all American farmers may have the opportunity to grow this amazing plant.

The Asher House: Lee and Luke The Asher House is currently embarking on a cross-country mission to get dogs out of shelters and into loving homes.
They travel from state to state setting up events, working closely with the local animal shelter/humane society where they bring adoptable dogs to showcase to the attendees of the event, ideally the dogs that have been there the longest. They then pay for the adoption and provide a months supply of MyOllie dog food.
It's about action and they’re taking it. And they are supplying CBD Hemp for the rescue dogs.
The shelters are too full. Dog's are euthanized every single day and it needs to stop. The Asher House is an organization taking action to do just that.
They bought an RV and with our own 6 rescue dogs, we are traveling all the United States - well 48 of them for now. What they do is a fairly simple philosophy. They show people the amazing breeds that are inside the shelters as well as the loving bond that you can share with your rescue pet through fun and engaging content.
Education: Every breed can be rescued. People just don't know. The media has done a brilliant job of making us believe that adoptable dogs aren't friendly, that shelters are awful places to go to, and that the only dogs that exist there are angry Cujo type dogs.
It's far from the case. Every breed can be found in the shelters, every breed can be rescued. Another vital part of their mission is to introduce people to shelters through events and social gatherings at the shelter and educate them on the importance of local humane societies as well as try to abolish that preliminary fear that person may have had.

Our Vision: Nick - David - Greg We simply design and build elegant, durable, high-performance plant based lifestyle and action sports products with two things in mind: How to serve others and how to reduce our footprint on this amazing planet.
Hemp is good! Hemp is the common name for plants of the entire genus Cannabis, although the term is often used to refer only to Cannabis strains cultivated for industrial (non-drug) use. Industrial hemp has many uses, including paper, textiles, biodegradable plastics, construction, health food, and fuel. It is one of the fastest growing biomasses known, and one of the earliest domesticated plants known.
Nick Griffith, David Blanchard, and Greg Osusky-Boy Genius and Resident Rocket Scientist
The three of us agreed from the beginning that sustainability can translate into durability in skateboarding as well as other sports. We don't have to sacrifice the environment to enjoy the best performance. Just because the standard is there doesn't mean there's not a more eco-friendly and sustainable way. We got tired of people just talking about change and decided to commit our business to it.
Our Sprout Cruiser is 80% hemp and 20% of a plant based resin, making it 100% plant based. The performance of our decks completely blew us away during three years of testing. Be part of the revolution.

Commitment to being a force for good has been a part of our company's identity and vision since starting the business in 1991, and becoming a Certified B Corporation in 2013 helped to further codify this long-held value.
B Corp certification is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to milk. B Corps are certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
New Belgium's score is in the top 10% of all Certified B Corps in 2016, and we were honored to be recognized with B Corp's "Best for the World" award.
New Belgium knows that we are profitable, not in spite of our social and environmental efforts, but because of them. By gifting ownership in the company and investing in the happiness of our coworkers, the best of the best join our team and they give their hearts. A 93% retention rate is good for the bottom line. By reducing our water use and donating money to the research and repair of the Colorado River, we are increasing the likelihood that we’ll have clean and abundant water for many generations. And you know what? We aren't alone. Businesses that give a damn are now a movement, and that movement is B Corp.
Today, there is a growing community of more than 2,200 Certified B Corps from over 50 countries and 130 industries working together toward 1 unifying goal: to redefine success in business.

Thomas Krouse is committed to making your voice heard in Sacramento and is a supporter of "Industrial Hemp" (iHemp).
Our government should focus on the priorities, principles, and values that are shared by the broad majority of citizens, not on issues and self-generated problems designed to score political points and to raise campaign contributions.
He is committed to fighting to protect local control in North County which is under threat by dysfunctional 'one size fits all' government initiatives. He also pledges to oppose future tax increases as long as government continues to spend taxpayers' money so ineffectively, inefficiently, and unwisely.

Craig Lee Kentucky:
A descendent of hemp farmers and curator of the Kentucky Hemp Museum & Library, Craig Lee knows hemp is a superior crop choice for cellulosic ethanol production - the next wave in eco-friendly fuels. Hemp hurds contain 70% cellulose.
Also, hemp seed can be used for biodiesel and for food products. Craig points out that using hemp for ethanol will leave corn and soybeans to their best uses as food. Hemp is easier on the soil and uses far less water than corn.
Any biomass or cellulose carbohydrate is superior to hydrocarbons (petrochemicals), because this year's living plants take up the carbon from last year's crop burning in your car. Also, there is no sulfur dioxide produced - no acid rain!

They are absolutely committed to connecting consumers to their local food sources and producers. They started this farm wanting people to meet the people that use best organic practices to grow their food.

They like knowing where our food goes. They like answering your questions, meeting your families and watching your faces light up at the sight of your fresh produce every week.
They like the connection so much, that unlike almost every other off-site pick-up CSA in America, They come to the pick-ups to be an active part of the farmer/consumer equation.

Pennsylvania Hempstone Heritage is about the fascinating details of the old Pennsylvania hemp industry in the Hempstone Heritage Series written be Les Stark. By analyzing many primary documents he was able to come up with a unique perspective of the old hemp industry.
What Les found was a story nothing short of amazing! Les is now able to bring the story of the Pennsylvania hemp industry to the world. There were over 100 water-powered hemp mills lining the streams creeks and rivers of Lancaster County alone with dozens of hemp mills in neighboring York County and the surrounding counties.
There were many oil mills for processing hempseed and flaxseed oil. The Hempstone Heritage Series reveals to us all of the fascinating details of this once thriving industry in Pennsylvania.

Victory Hemp Foods provides nutritious, delicious, sustainable hemp grain in the form of organic oil, protein powder, flour, and de-hulled seeds to health conscious consumers nationwide.
Victory Hemp Foods is an American company with headquarters in northern Kentucky, a place that’s the heart and soul of agriculture in our country, and until recently, long-known for producing tobacco.
Unfortunately for American farmers, hemp, which is an ideal replacement for tobacco, is still a highly regulated crop, and as a result, we subsidize the US grown hemp that we are able to harvest with foreign grown hemp in order to consistently and reliably meet growing demand.

George Washington Hemp Co is a Colorado based Limited Liability Corporation, founded by a tenth generation of Revolutionary War General Nathaniel Greene, an ex-communicated Quaker for breaking his pacifism. George Washington Hemp Co oversees commercial scale cultivation, manufacturing, and modern application of industrial hemp with aims to help the poor, homeless, and needy; with hopes of restoring and preserving this constitutional republic.
Simply put, George Washington Hemp Co exists to help build Houses of the Lord from “hemp-crete”; in order to foster prayer, praise, study, fellowship, outreach, liberty, and freedom. This also includes care for the homeless, hungry, poor, uneducated, and sick. Homeless shelters, food kitchens, clothing closets, schools, and clinics are all in the vision to be built charitably.

Pioneering PA Hemp Farming: Justin Frederico and Ben Hall
Two long time friends, a chemist and a farmer, set out to re-start the Pennsylvania hemp industry. Justben Agriculture is the first PA hemp farmer since hemp was banned in the 1970s.
Pennsylvania was once a was once a leading producer of hemp. As a native plant with 100s of industrial uses, hemp has enormous potential as a sustainable resource.
The ban on hemp was very recently lifted in Pennsylvania, however, legalization of industrial hemp currently only applies to hemp grown by registered farmers for research purposes.
It is our hope, that this pilot program will pave the way for further pro-industrial hemp legislation.

When Founder Annie Rouse was studying the environmental life cycle of hemp in Canada under a U.S. Fulbright Scholarship, she realized that products were being labeled as ‘green’ or ‘eco-friendly’ simply because they contained hemp; however, the product itself was no better than the alternative.
It was during this experience that she realized that a product is only as sustainable as the inputs it takes to produce it— from the agricultural inputs, to the ingredients, to the energy and water use, to the packaging and transportation, to the people that are manufacturing it. She decided that if hemp were really going to “save the world,” then we at least needed to start the industry off on the right foot—through accountability, transparency, education and quality control.
With a passion for hemp and the environment and educating consumers on conscious consumption, she decided to launch Think Hempy Thoughts, a brokerage and marketplace for the conscious consumer. All the products available for sale within Think Hempy Thoughts’ platform have been third-party verified through Verified Life Cycle, Inc., a non-profit devoted to verifying the producers’ transparency, accountability and product quality while ensuring that the industrial hemp supply chain is built in the most sustainable manner possible.

Founded in 1977, TS Designs began as a small, manual screen printing operation. It only took a few years for the company to become fully automated, printing shirts for big brands like Nike, Tommy, Polo, GAP, etc. However, after the 1993 implementation of NAFTA (the North American Free Trade Agreement), TS Designs watched as customer after customer transitioned accounts to Mexico in order to take advantage of lower costs.
Instead of calling it quits, like many of their colleagues in the manufacturing industry, CEO Tom Sineath (retired in 2015) and president Eric Henry turned to fellow business owner and longtime friend Sam Moore for a new direction. Sam introduced Tom and Eric to the Triple-Bottom-Line business model focused on three equally important bottom lines: People, the Planet, and Profits.
Armed with their new business model and a healthy amount of crazy, Tom and Eric sought to align themselves with, and cater to, a then-fringe group: The Green Movement. It was a period of steady progression, exciting new developments and lessons learned as the company leaders continually pushed the boundaries on what was possible in printing technology and what it meant to source from local supply chains.
Today, TS Designs still sells largely to local, environmentally and socially-conscious businesses and organizations that make up The Green Movement, but also prints for any organization looking for a locally-made, better quality product with a better environmental and social impact. Eric Henry, CEO and President, continues with a spirit of innovation as the company expands its line of in-house apparel brands.
Eric Henry’s enthusiasm, energy and dedication have gained him a certain level of notoriety at most of these events, awarding him the Sustainability Champion award from Sustainable North Carolina.
